Been meaning to try this place for years. So far out from where we live and we mainly get Chinese food to go. However, grabbed lunch there today with the Mrs. About 15 very reasonably priced lunch specials. All came with soup or salad and a crab rangoon or egg roll. Fried rice at was perfectly cooked, very good flavor and a nice sized portion. Wife had garlic beef and peppers, which she loves. Big portion, has enough left over to take to work for lunch tomorrow. The crab rangoon was excellent! Really strong experience. Bill was around 35 bucks. Would for sure go back and try the other specials.

Tonight we tried Wu's for the first time. It was wonderful. We ordered an appetizer and entrees and still had plenty to take home. Great service. Always had our glasses filled and she was very very polite. Very clean and overall a wonderful experience. We already planned what we are getting for our next visit.

Wu's Fine Chinese Cuisine provides a great experience with delicious American Chinese and Authentic dishes. The food was hot and made to order. I highly recommend adding the Make Your Dinner option with soup, egg roll, and fried shrimp. The service was quick and friendly and was able to make recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing.

The service was great! Unfortunately, we got the volcano appetizer and it was lackluster. Our main entrees were very tasty. The sauces were rich and flavorful.

I will never order here again! It was my First time there. I ordered egg fu young , they gave me 1 patty that cost $15.00. The gravy was runny like water. I had ordered shrimp fried rice that had 4 shrimp in it. Customer service was rude, she told me I couldn't pay with my card, so I paid with cash and she tried to keep my charge. I told her to give me my change. I didn't know the food was like that until I opened it at my hotel room. I posting this everywhere. Do not eat here! 😡

I went here with a couple Chinese coworkers and had a pretty good meal. I just got the sweet and sour chicken which was pretty tasty. We got an order of egg rolls and an order of wontons they were hot fresh and delicious. One of my friend got the hottest fish oil dinner and asked for it to be as hot as they could make it. He didn’t think it was hit at all and neither of them thought it was really fish oil. The place is well maintained and I. Great shape. Very nicely furnished and a pretty quiet nice place for dinner

Really good Chinese food. Very impressed. Ice tea had a good hit of ginger in it. Garlic chicken is the bomb with shrimp. Carefull how hot you order it. My wife loved the sweet and sour chicken. Clean as a whistle. Quick seating and a very soft spoken, polite waitress staff. I know we're to go now to get my Chinese food on.

Yelp
Wu's is one of our favorite Asian dining spots in the area. If you've never been, you might be surprised at the sophisticated, clean decor when you enter this little strip mall gem! The menu is large and well-organized. Staff are friendly and efficient. The owner, Michelle, is a gracious, welcoming host. Wu's offers a lunch menu as well as their larger portion dinner menu. This visit was lunch after church on Sunday. Pic of lunch menu below. All lunch selections include soup or salad, egg roll or crab rangoon, and rice. Dinner selections are entree with rice (or some have noodles) and extras are ala' carte. Everything at Wu's is freshly prepared and delicious. We started with soup (not pictured)...our fav the hot and sour soup but some at our table had egg drop. Pictured are a few of the entrees: kids meal of honey chicken and rice (HUGE portions!); kung pao chicken with rice and crab Rangoon app; and Empress chicken made spicy with requested unbattered chicken breast and fresh bean sprouts in place of rice (any dish that normally comes breaded can be requested to be made without the breading, btw). Our adult kids and grands love Wu's too! If you haven't yet tried it, highly recommend you do!

Yelp
The Crispy Peking Duck is my favorite item on the menu. However, to be fair, the chefs there do an excellent job on a variety of duck offerings, and their combo fried rice is right up there with the best I've had world wide!!!! ‍ You will thoroughly enjoy any order you place at Wu's. Absolutely 5 Stars...

Yelp
We love Wu's! We have been coming for years. They have a great lunch special for a great price. One of the best, most authentic hot and sour soups around Fort Wayne. The green beans and friend rice are some of our favorites too! The servers are always so friendly and I've never waited more than 10 minutes for my entree. Usually I'm still trying to finish soup or salad when it comes out. Inside is clean and quiet.

Yelp
Came here for thanksgiving dinner because I was overruled by the group of gf's. Everyone said the hot and sour soup and king pao is really good. Ok I'll bite That's what I ordered with a side of thin pancakes. The lunch menu wasn't available. It's kinda pricey and It only comes with a side of rice. The pancake wasn't thin. It was thicker with green onions in it and very rubbery to eat. It wasn't my favorite dinning experience as far as food but fun as far as my company i went with. I always tell ppl to go and try it if they never had and it is locally owned so that makes it better in my opinion but I don't think I'd eat there again. Just preference of Chinese food.

Yelp
Not my cup of tea for the price. The service was great, but the food is lacking flavor, and the price is high for what you're getting. I got the Mongolian beef, and all I could taste was the soy sauce I put on it. General Tso's chicken was very bland compared to other Chinese restaurants I've been in. Finally, the fried rice had little to no flavor.

Yelp
On my very first visit to Wu's, I was very pleasantly surprised by its delicious food and tasty drinks. My fiancé and I stopped by for lunch and I ordered a mai tai and he had an old fashioned. Both drinks were good, my mai tai being particularly fruity and tasty. The golden shrimp appetizer tasted good, and the sauce was flavorful, but it was a pretty small order for the price. It would have been nice to have received a couple more shrimp to balance the price. The side salad exceeded expectation because of the ginger dressing. I don't think I've ever liked ginger dressing so much before! I want to have that again. My fiancé's egg drop soup made him very happy, though he would have liked for it to have been served a little hotter. It was kind of warm by the time it arrived at our table. I ordered the orange chicken and, though I've had it before, I've never had it so crispy! The slices of chicken were very thin, which added to the crispiness. I would love to order orange chicken at Wu's again. I have discussed this orange chicken with other people because it was so yummy! My partner's pungent beef, despite its name (pungent??), was quite delicious. He was thrilled at the flavor and barely needed a to-go box after this meal! The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, with quiet music and attentive staff. We look forward to coming back to Wu's for another date!

Yelp
Excellent and fast service. Also the food was phenomenal. We enjoyed the ambiance as well it was quiet and romantic.

Yelp
On a quick visit to Ft Wayne made our second visit to Wu's. Party of 7 we were seated at a big round with a lazy Susan center. Very convenient for sharing. I find the majority of Chinese restaurants pedestrian and boring but Wu's has their menu nailed. All the choices were tasty and cooked perfectly. While they will make many dishes gluten free our GF entree was a curry chicken, quite good. If you're in FW and looking for a good meal at a good price, give Wu's a try.

Yelp
4.5 stars. Really nice interior and quiet ambiance. A HUGE and varied menu; it took us a while to study it. Crab Rangoon was good; you could tell the oil in the fryer had been recently changed - it was light and very crispy. I enjoyed my hot and sour soup. It was definitely on the milder side to others I've tried, but I didn't mind that. Very nice "Three Ingredient" dinner with a yummy brown sauce and generous helpings of shrimp, chicken, and beef. My boyfriend had the shrimp lo mein and said it was great. It was full of juicy shrimps. All in all, a very good experience. What took this down from 5 stars was that they use imitation crab---why? Slightly disappointing.

Yelp
What happened to Wu's - food was cold - service NOT good and no choices for substitutions. Was my favorite Chinese and now last on my list!!!

Yelp
This was listed as one of the best Chinese restaurants in Indiana so we tried it for a graduation dinner The place was nice and the staff were very friendly and attentive But it is insanely overpriced for what you get Honestly nobody charges $11 to add on soup and a. Spring roll and one piece of shrimp to an entree The portions are not big at all especially for the price The food itself was ok but nothing special really But it was plated beautifully The one thing I always try when I go to a Chinese restaurant for the first time is the Hot and sour soup and this was a very small portion with very little flavor (I've had better at my local buffet). All in all if you're trying to impress a date with the scenery and ambience this is ok. But the price and food is easily beaten with most mom and pop Chinese restaurants
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Heard that this was the best Chinese in Indiana, and they are right! Have NEVER had anything like Hot Burned Pork - delicious- not unlike pork burned ends in sauce. The Wu's Crispy Shrimp had walnuts which made it slightly like candied walnuts with shrimp but not too sweet. Service from Katly was delightful, wine arrived in literally 60 seconds, music was soft so you could have a conversation. Awesome awesome!

Kevin B.

Yelp
The pictures I saw before I ate made everything look home made. I got crab Rangoon, potstickers and spicy honey chicken. The total was $48. The rangoons were good, honey chicken ok. But it really makes me mad when a Chinese restaurant sell frozen potstickers. In the photos I saw they looked homemade and was the main reason I ordered from here. Sad

Yelp
I remember the days when you could go to a good Chinese restaurant, sit down at a nice table, and have a relaxing dinner. In today's world, most of the time Chinese food is a quick dash in and dash out pick up of takeout food that you eat at home. While there's nothing wrong with that, I found a place where if you want, you can have that sit down relaxing, take your time and enjoy a great meal experience. I will admit I've had better dumplings at other places, but the service presentation experience were worth it. I got the beef and scallops and my colleague got spicy chicken and vegetables. The prices are a bit high, but aren't they everywhere nowadays. Bottom line, Wu's is the place to go if you want good Chinese food and a great dining experience.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a hidden gem for Chinese food lovers. I had given up eating Chinese food as I could only find the ones who only offered takeout and the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. The offerings are plentiful including appetizers, entrees and desserts. I selected Cashew chicken and my husband selected shrimp with lobster sauce. Our orders were brought quickly and the portions were generous. We both enjoyed our choices. The atmosphere was Zen to say the least. Tasteful decor was evident from entering the door to being seated in the dining area. Quiet background music was playing creating a calm, relaxing experience - we could have a quiet conversation , something not normally able to be enjoyed in most restaurants nowadays. Lookig forward to future visits.

Yelp
Honey walnut shrimp was disappointing. It was okay good when you're craving Chinese, but it's nothing I'd recommend to a friend

Yelp
Wu's Fine Chinese Cuisine is a lovely place for a special occasion. The ambience is classy with light piano music playing in the background. The menu includes authentic and Americanized options. I opted for more Americanized food during my most recent visit. The spring rolls are huge and two are plenty to share with someone else or enjoy on your own. The wine list, while affordable (about $8 a glass), isn't the most impressive. For example, the sauvignon blanc is Woodbridge. I'd happily spend $12 a glass if the wine was nicer, but I'm also a wine snob. I most recently ordered their sweet and sour chicken. It was really good. I recommend visiting with a group or ordering takeout so you can try a bit of a few different meals. I found the servers attentive, but not intrusive, and they made sure my water was promptly refilled. My only complaint is that the to-go containers are made out of Styrofoam.

Yelp
You can't go wrong at Wu's to get Chinese food fix on! Excellent and Clean quality food and service. Wu's is a kind time fav!!! The burn pork ends are tops!

Robert G.

Yelp
I had their very special duck dinner on 9/26/24. It was the worst meal I have had in a long time. The meal wax served quickly because it was overcooked - most likely several days before! I will never return!!!!!!!

Yelp
Wu's is amazing. The only authentic Chinese food in the entire area. The Xiaolongbao is excellent!!
google avatar

Yelp
Really, really good Chinese food in The Fort... Might be the best in town? The restaurant itself is immaculate... Very fancy, super clean, and superior service; this place literally looks like a fine dining restaurant when you walk in. The only drawback is that it's pricey, especially based on the amount of food you get, but in my humble opinion it's worth it because the food and service are exceptional.
google avatar

Yelp
We live Wu's - Just enjoyed my Birthday Lunch there. Food is Always Amazing. My favorite dish is the Burnt Pork. Very Crisp, yet full of flavor. Highly recommend them!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent atmosphere and the food is excellent for the price. I eat here every time I'm in Ft Wayne
google avatar

Yelp
A pit stop in Fort Wayne and we just happen to notice this place has dumplings offerings. one entree, pot of tea, 2 pork buns and 8 soup dumplings cost around $40 Mongolian beef was American Chinese, but it seems a notch up than "cheaper" Chinese places. The buns and dumplings were delicious. I have had them both recently and Believe I can accurately compare and say they do a good job here. Would like to see them cost a little less, but I am not sure I can ding them too much for a price point since I don't know the demand for those items. Immaculate place, good service, nicely decorated, definitely a good date setting.

Yelp
Before you read this review, please understand that until recently i lived my entire life in New York surrounded by some of the best cuisine in the world. So the bar is set pretty high with me but I try to keep my reviews geographically relative. Admittedly this was (with the exception of Panda Express) our first mid west Chinese food experience. A few people had suggested this restaurant we so gave it try and here's our take on Wu's: In comparison to a New York "dine in" Chinese restaurant, the atmosphere/ambiance was kinda plain and generic but clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the menu choices were surprisingly vast. I was glad to see that they had a traditional menu in addition to the standard Amercanized menu. The drink menu is reasonably impressive although while it's prolly not culturally consistent, a few creative Sake cocktails would liven it up nicely. We had the szechuan wanton appetizer followed by the egg foo young and the hot burned pork. Both with fried rice. Everything was very good. It wasn't quite as "gourmet" as a dine in restaurant in New York and would probably relate closer to a really good takeout place back there but the food was solid. Well prepared, cooked perfectly and super tasty. Absolutely no regrets or warnings against Wu's but if i had to pick the one thing that kept it at 4 stars, it would be the price. For me, it was a bit high for what you get but hey, i haven't tried the takeout in Fort Wayne yet so maybe it's worth the $$. I'll definitely be back to try some other things on the menu and update this review accordingly. In the meantime, go get some Wu's the next time you're yearning for Chinese.

Sean H.

Yelp
This was our first visit on Christmas Eve. Really busy but we had reservations. Staff were all polite and welcoming. The crab Rangoon was good but didn't appear to have any crab meat but this is common around here. Otherwise, the rest of our dinner was exceptionally rich in flavor. Their recipes are a step above your typical Chinese restaurant and well worth the wait. We really loved our meals and are excited to try this place again. They have a really good menu selection and the interior was split up into different dining rooms. There was a definite team effort to serve everyone with the best service possible. Great for parties or special occasions. Takeout is available. Kids ok too.

Yelp
Lately, I've been having lots of late late lunches or early dinners. I stopped in here for an early dinner, what a pleasure. I was warmly welcomed upon entry by the host. I was pleased with the demeanor and pleasantness of the host and staff. The decor, is done in the traditional Chinese colors, with red being a prominent scheme. The decor and layout are both equally lovely. It's warm and inviting, and quite spacious. There is calming music playing, not loudly, but enough to make the atmosphere relaxing. I literally felt as if I could sit for hours reading, eating, relaxing. My waitress was superb. She was informative, attentive, and very efficient. I ordered the General Tso Chicken. It was good, very good. I had the fried rice, instead of steamed white rice. It was a nice relaxing, tasty meal. The presentation was clearly 5 stars, but the overall taste warranted 4. I can certainly see myself coming back for another meal in this calming atmosphere. Well done, very well done.
google avatar

Jeri W.

Yelp
Chicken fried rice had egg shells in it. Server has trouble with English. I just gave up. Iced tea was so weak, it was just colored water. First time I've ever seen tofu in egg drop soup. It wasn't that great that I'd recommend to anyone.
google avatar

Payton K.

Yelp
The food here was amazing, everyone was nice when I walked in and our waitress was very polite. It was super relaxing in the restaurant, I got the orange chicken and since it's spicy I got it mild and it came with either fried or steamed rice. Very good!
google avatar

Floyd T.

Yelp
This place is ok Chinese at best so expensive and the food was not very seasoned. I would not recommend this place to any one.
google avatar

Julia P.

Yelp
Great food, altho we didn't care for the eggrolls (what IS that in there?!? Cinnamon?! Ick!). Friendly servers, nice atmosphere, clean at tables AND restrooms. Moderate sized portions with fairly higher prices than many Asian restaurants. However, it is worth the treat if you want a calm and relaxing atmosphere to rejuvenate and renew your spirits. It feels indulgent, and everything we've tried (barring those hideous egg rolls) has been tasty and wonderful

Retha C.

Yelp
Best Chinese food Authentic flavors and attentive service If in Fort Wayne don't miss wu's fine Chinese

J E.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. This place is calming, tidy, and quietly elegant. Our server was attentive and kind. The food is amazing. I will dream about the Kung Pao chicken until I can have it again. Even the hot tea was sublime. We plan to return many times in the future.

Yelp
I have been eating at Wus for many years! Way over a decade I use to have great experiences and felt that the staff snd owners tried to do a good job. One question. What happened !? People try to blame Covid for everything. The owners only argued with me versus just trying to let me pay and get out of the restaurant to go somewhere else. My order was simple very mild orange chicken and white rice. I received after a lengthy wait of way too spicy chicken to consume and fried rice . I pushed it to the other side of the Table and gathered my belongings and asked for check. The owner actually was the one and asked me do you want it boxed up I said no I couldn't eat it. He said well I can make it again. I said no I just want to leave and go somewhere else. Went to the front to pay for the food I didn't eat and was brought out wrong. So now the other owner (wife) became extremely rude just wanting to argue Said i ordered fried rice. I said no look I ordered white she then said it was her mistake but I should not care about a mistake, But it doesn't matter because the last 3 times I went it has went down hill. All she wanted to do was argue with me I told her again I just want to pay and go somewhere I can enjoy a meal She said my mistake because they are the best. Well I said it hadn't been lately And after how she was treating me I would never be back to see if it gets better Do not go to this establishment unless you want to have a rude terrible experience. After reading a few other reviews it seems consistent with problem owners. It's typical these places will eliminate themselves Try supporting some other locally owned restaurants that appreciate the customer that helps them make their businesses successful.

Jeremy G.

Yelp
Very nice and quiet restaurant. Food was very good and priced reasonably. Also quick and excellent service.
google avatar

Holly P.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, good food but not super original. I was hoping for spectacular and got the usual. The place is immaculate, service wonderful. Food presentation very good. Just average taste.
google avatar

KJ J.

Yelp
"Fine" dining is definitely a stretch, but the food is okay. Given the city its located in I don't know if the food is actually bad because Fort Wayne isn't a food friendly city. I'll just say the food is okay. Don't go thinking you're going to have great food or service and you'll be okay. When I got there half the staff were on one side of the restaurant in booths taking naps and I had to call the restaurant so someone would actually come to the front of the restaurant to greet and sit me.

Debbie L.

Yelp
If the food on a regular basis is as bad as the carry out today was I don't think Wu's would be in business very long. They had what I thought was a great idea for today, Christmas Day, by making a limited carry out menu. The orange chicken tasted like it was prepared yesterday, barely warm and packaged for carry out. The rice also was not fresh. Bought 3 dinners and all were stale and cold. $60 down the drain. Merry Christmas

Tony D.

Yelp
best chinese in Fort Wayne period. not your local chinese fast food. Wu's crispy chicken is well worth it!
google avatar

KaRex R.

Yelp
Loved Wu's! I can't wait to eat there again. We just moved for Fort Wayne recently from Sacramento, CA. It was wonderful to meet the owner and share California stories. The food was delicious. We had General Tso's and Orange Chicken, as well as vegetable Lo-Mein. Great service, clean beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to take pictures because the food disappeared so quickly. Go and enjoy for yourself. We will definitely be going back.
google avatar

Midge D.

Yelp
Everyone hating is pedestrian. The sweet and sour sauce and hot mustard are obviously made in house. No shitty shelf-stable packets. The hot burnt pork is craveable. Like, sometimes we just get two orders of that because there's nothing better. Can't believe Fort Wayne is letting this place slip by with 3.5 stars. What a joke. This place is easily one of the best restaurants in the city.
google avatar

Jeremy G.

Yelp
This place is not a cheap place to eat. It is, however, a very nice upscale place to get some great Chinese food. Way nicer interior than most Chinese restaurants I've been to. So far I've tried the hot and sour soup and the egg drop soup and both are some of the best I've had. Also the orange chicken and the burned pork are both really good. The lunch portions are just the right size for me to totally devour while I'm there. The crab Rangoons taste great too. Plan on lunch meals running between $10-$14 a piece but that does include soup and an egg roll or crab Rangoon.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
The food is delicious, but the prices have gone through the roof!! Less food and way more expensive!
google avatar

Lex B.

Yelp
Fine dining when you can go in to dine that is! use to be so much to come here and eat this pricey little overrated Chinese food. Real good I tell you! So ever good! mmm love sinking this Chinese down my chompers when you can dine in! oh hell yes I do. Was fun back before the virus hit and now me got to stay homes Holmes! Real fun place indeed. Was so much fun to come here and get the hookup on the fine dining experience! then the outbreak came and outbroke. Now me has to stay homes... :(
google avatar

Krystle J.

Yelp
Mediocre at best. Not authentic Chinese food very commercial comparable to Panda Express. I gave it 3 stars because of the beautiful ambience and furniture.
google avatar

Scott B.

Yelp
Very nice place to eat. A bit upscale in the dinner experience. Prices are around $17 for a dinner add a soup and egg roll for $7. Comes with rice of both sorts. Beers are $7. Hot sake is $5. The food was good. It was just as good as the Hainan House on Bluffton Rd which cheaper but less not as nice to look at. Also Wu has better decorated dishes. They cut veggies into flowers for garnish. They have a ton of choices. I would for sure like to explorer their menu.
google avatar

Patty C.

Yelp
I'd heard such good things about Wu's from customers who are there every Sunday. We finally had opportunity to go to celebrate a birthday! What a lovely place! What a well trained, friendly wait staff! The Red Shrimp was delicious as beautiful. My husband had a delicious beef and onions piping hot. We had a marvelous dry martini and the chocolate mousse. The atmosphere made for a perfect evening.

P F.

Yelp
We have been to Wu's numerous times on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Have always had a great experience and food was always good. I had a reservation and had invited my family. Sorry to say that the service and food were not at all good. I ordered the crab rangoon as an appetizer and my sister also ordered it but as her entree. After an awfully long wait the waitress brought our food. When I mentioned that I never got my order of crab rangoon she got out her notepad and said she only had 1 order that my sister had ordered as a meal but not my appetizer. Everyone at our table confirmed that I had ordered it. I told her not to bother bringing it since our food was there. Our Kung Pao Chicken was cold and everyone at our table ordered fried rice. The fried rice was not cooked all the way and was still hard. Truly disappointing since I had invited family who had not been there before and our food wasn't good.
google avatar

Aliya T.

Yelp
After reading reviews stating the food portions were small or the food here is about the same as other Chinese places- y'all are crazy. This place isn't run of the mill Chinese food. The portions are normal (not mega sized like other places but Wu's make up for it with flavor) & the food is fresh. The potstickers were flavorful and hot. The beef curry dumplings were so good! The seasoning was amazing. The sizzling beef & scallops are plated table- side (think fajitas but Chinese) and served on a screaming hot cast iron platter. I recommend the plum wine too!
