"If you need convincing beyond duck fat french fries how about an extensive collection of craft beer and cider and a high quality collection of sausage to go along with your drinks. Went to this spot last night with a friend, planning to just have some beer and sausages—but we ended up getting mixed drinks, fries, and sausage instead. Everything was really good! I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu. Big shoutout to Mr. Kaya at the bar—one of the best hosts I’ve come across!

Greeted by the cutest custom printed sign for our party of two! How sweet! We ordered at the counter and they brought all of our food over to our spot on long tables. We had the fondue and added two sausages, loved the duck sausage i chose. Fondue was great, i wish there were more veggies for dipping. Side salad was good but overdressed and very salty. Overall loved our meal, will be back with my partner (who loved sausages) and friends!

Pretty nice place with special food&drink options. Sausages and burgers are okay, got to try kangaroo meat for the first time. Fries and pretzels are good. Drinks are alright too. No table service. Nice atmosphere. Overall overpriced for what it is.

Lovely stop at WVRST for a bite and a couple of brews before catching a flight. Service was great, food was delicious, and the brews were beautiful (Godspeed Buh, Pilsner Urquell).

Fantastic schnitzel, warm atmosphere, and an expansive drink menu! There are plenty of food options (and sharing plates!) to pick from—we passed around some tasty pretzels and fondue, but they also feature a wide collection of sausages. The inside is very open with bench seating and a comfy beer hall vibe.

Came for their cheese fondue, which was absolutely delicious. The small board is enough for two to share, and you can add sausages as well. The cheese is warm and smooth but near the end it does get a bit salty. The combo of bread, potato and pretzel is amazing. I recommend everyone to try this.

🇩🇪It’s OKTOBERFEST @WVRST all year long🍺They’ve got over 60 different types of Imported Beers to choose from, and staple German food to sample! Cheese Fondue came with Baked Pretzel, Baguette, Mini Potatoes, the Fondue is made with a mix of Raclette & Smoked Gouda- super Smooth and RICH! Sausage Sampler is perfect to try different types of Sausages- it’s got Chorizo, Calabrese, Chicken Boerewors, Kangaroo qnd Rabbit- served with Sauerkraut, and Bread, perfect to try it all! Dirty Duck Fries is not for the faint of heart, it’s Fries cooked in Duck Fat, topped with Jalapenos, Onions and Currywurst Sauce- we also added Melted Smoked Gouda on top, YES PLEASE!! We complimented our meals with a 1L jug of German Lager- Hofbrau, and an Espresso Martini!

Some of the best fries I’ve had in Toronto. Actually hand-cut with amazing sauces. Will 100% be back.
