Denver’s Best Sports Bars | Eater Denver

"Twice-daily happy hours and a Chicago-centric menu focused on deep-dish pizza, hot dogs, and the like bring the regulars into this chill Cheesman Park dive; plenty of screens keep them there (especially if they’re Cubs, Bulls, or Bears fans) — as do a couple of pool tables to supplement the on-screen action." - Ruth Tobias

This place is really loud with their music. therefore, that forces everyone to shriek, yell, and raise their voices in order to be heard over the music. Or I'm just old and can't handle and don't like really loud music in bars and restaurants anymore. I'm not 20 something, like a lot of the clientele seemed to be. The food was good, my Lasagna and by bf's Meatball Sub with Tots. It took a while to come out. They serve food late, which is why we were there. Not sure we'll go back bc of the noise level.

Google
Great bar vibe and wide food/beer selection. Deep dish pizza didn’t come out scalding hot as I expected, but definitely one of the best deep dish places in Denver. I’m not from Chicago however, so take this review with a grain of salt.

Google
Nice neighborhood spot with great pizza and wings. FYI self seating and order at the bar.

Google
Great service, 9/10 pizza and 10 outta 10 wings. Whoever is the cook was def cooking. 🫡🔥

Google
I really like this place! Probably my favorite pizza in Denver! It’s kinda loud and rowdy sometimes but that’s part of the charm. Not overly expensive, good drinks, love the duck vending machine! Service can be slow but it’s worth it.

Google
I love this place. The only good deep dish pizza in Denver. Service is great considering it's just the bartenders doing it all (you order at the bar). But they're fast and smart. Mike was excellent and super competent. It's loud but it's a pub! And they have Palisades Peach on tap which is my all time favorite draft brew.

Google
Ratings are high so I thought the pizza was going to be pretty good. Just ordered a small deep dish, that was the only food I had. As someone who grew up in Illinois I was looking forward to a good slice of deep dish pizza. It wasn’t good at all. The cornmeal crust was thin and pretty crunchy. One of the main distinctions of a deep dish pizza is the cornmeal crust, definitely could be thicker with a better taste. The sauce was oh so powerful. So much oregano. I don’t know if someone accidentally put that much in but it was like eating a bite out of the actual plant. I haven’t tried the other food so that might be the way to go. If you have never had deep dish, then you might like it. Service was fast with my pickup and the atmosphere was bumpin for a Sunday night. Edit: looks like there is new management or a change in the kitchen. Could be why this hyped up place didn’t live up to the word.

Google
Absolutely love this place for the food, playing pool, and the overall vibe. The thin crust pepperoni pizza is my fav in town!!

Yelp
Went here for The Super Bowl and it is a super cool place! The food was really good, the waitress working the room was so awesome (the kind eyed brunette) even though it was so busy. She was hustling around and seemed to some kind of sixth sense well honed where if you needed something she sensed it. Case in point; I walked up the bar to order some drinks for the table and she had her back turned serving a customer, but as soon as I looked her direction she turned around and gave a nod saying, "I'll be over after serving these drinks." Super ninja skills. I wanted to get her name to specifically give her a shout out in a review, and also give her a hearty waist deep bow for her service before we left, but I started climbing trees outside after getting pretty lit, then got sidetracked and then before I knew it the Super Bowl had ended and we were all off to Cleopatra's for karaoke. The drinks were perfectly mixed, the tap beer was good, it was really clean, and the food was really good too, but the service was just awesome.

Yelp
I got a pepperoni slice $5.40 with tip and tax. It was alright for bar pizza. But my friends all got a way bigger slice (like double the size) lol

Daniel C.

Yelp
The crust was undercooked and soft and not Chicago like at all. They also got my order wrong. I asked for no mushrooms. The hot dog I had was fine but had no crisp or snap. The tots were bad. I was really disappointed. 2.5/5

Yelp
Great little spot with pool tables, great drink deals and the pepperoni rolls! I could probably eat the pepperoni rolls for the rest of my life. Definitely don't miss out on this place!

Yelp
Now this is the BEST weekday deal I have found yet! $2 Tuesdays. $2 pizza slices, well drinks and select beers. Such a chill vibe and a great place to catch up with friends after work. This may be our weekly stop!

Yelp
I reeeeally wanted to like this place. I've been on a search for Chicago-style deep dish pizza since I moved to Denver. So when an ex-Chicago coworker mentioned this place, I was excited to give it a try. I read where some reviewers compared it to Chicago's Lou Malnati's, and others wrote that Wyman's No 5 is from the same pizza-making school as Lou's. Unfortunately, for me hoping to get a Lou Malnati's type pizza, it turned out the highlight of the meal was the sweet woman bartender who greeted, seated, and served us. Now keep in mind I'm comparing it to Chicago deep dish from Lou Malnati's. You may like the way Wyman's No 5 makes their pizzas because it's a deep dish with lots of tasty ingredients. Its sauce has a little tang to it, the green peppers were crispy like I like them and the cheese was good. So I'll tell you why it's not like Lou's for you ex-Chicagoans and why I didn't care for this particular pizza for everyone else reading it. CRUST The crust on the Wyman's pizza was thin, crunchy (like a biscuit), and burnt. Every bite gave me the flavors from the top, and the burnt crunchy crust flavors from the bottom. I've read reviews about other pizzas from here being burnt so maybe that's the way they make them. One time I was in Kansas City and I went to an Uno's (Another Chicago chain of deep dish pizza that I like.) The pizza crust and toppings were burnt as if they'd left it in the oven 10 minutes more than they should have. When I called it to the attention of the server, he didn't understand the complaint because that's the way they always served it. So maybe burnt crust is just the way Wyman's serves it. It was my first time there so I don't know. But it wasn't enjoyable. The crust on a Lou Malnati's deep dish pizza is a little more bready, a little thicker, buttery, and not burnt. If you have the room in your stomach, it's tempting to also eat the crust on a Lou's pizza because it's good. I wasn't tempted to eat the Wyman's crust. INGREDIENTS The sauce on the Wyman's pizza has a slight tang to it. I was fine with that. There was a lot of sauce, and a good mix of tomato, green peppers, and onions. (I told them to leave off the pepperoni.) There should have been more sausage and cheese if it's going to match Lou's. (I don't think the tomato sauce needs to be sweet like Lou's. Tangy was fine.) Normally when you cut out a piece of Lou's pizza, a small amount of cheese and sauce will ooze into the pan. With the Wyman's pizza, because the crust and cheese weren't thick, the sauce easily oozed like soup into the pan when I removed a piece. This place has so much potential. It's in a nice location, the insides are really welcoming, comfortable, and large. The bartender was wonderful. So I guess the 3 stars versus 4 or 5 is because the pizza was burnt, which overshadowed all the other flavors. By the way, my wife got a Chicago hot dog and said it was very good!

Nick S.

Yelp
Came here off the cuff with my beautiful lady for a late night snack when we ended up ordering a small deep dish pepperoni pizza. I immediately had a childhood flashback to a time when I was at UNO's downtown Chicago in the mid '80s. That cornmeal crust is the secret Chef Jeff (KM) keep it going my friend. Nick Scala

Yelp
I was introduced to Wyman's by a friend who's also a Chicago transplant a few years ago. It's a great neighborhood bar to hang out in person at, and catch a Blackhawks game. Until recently, I didn't realize you could place an order for pickup (directly) or delivery (via Grubhub). Truthfully, it didn't occur to me to check, since it's more of an in-person hang. But with Covid, all bets are off, and I gave Wyman's via delivery a chance as part of an extensive same-day taste-test of Denver Deep Dish pizzas. While the beginning was rocky, the conclusion was tasty. Wyman's was a come-from-behind favorite. ---------------- Logistics Statistics: -Size: Large (Measured about 14")--this was a GENEROUSLY sized pizza -Price w/toppings & tax: $27.92 (Sausage, Mushrooms, Onions & Peppers)--No pre-set topping packages, but everything was reasonably priced. This was the most economical of the true deep dish pizzas. -Delivery: $1.99, plus order-based $2.81 in Grubhub % fees; arrived within 40 minutes of ordering, at a distance of just under a mile. Taste Test Take-Aways: -Pizza arrived a hot mess--literally. It was ordered uncut via Yelp, but was cut anyways, and on delivery, 2-3 pieces engaged in a massive slide that dislodged cheese and sauce in a way that appeared tragic. -Crust was in reality, too thin--a fact made apparent by the photos. That said, it was a nice blend of cornmeal and flour that made it enjoyable to eat, and despite the pizza being uncut, it held up to the leftover test. -Sauce, while a bit heavy, was intensely flavored and a spicy complement to the toppings. -Toppings could've been more generous, and were a bit crisp from what seemed like a quick cook time. That said... -THE CHEESE! The cheese on this pizza was in abundance, had a glorious stretch, and was enough to make you forget about life. Comparison Conundrum: -Wyman's was best compared with Crush Pizza & Tap, both of which are in the Lou Malnati's school of Chicago deep dish. While the crust could've definitely been thicker and the pizza better presented, it had a ton of flavor, and held up over time for leftovers. If you love cheese and spice, eat this pizza. That's what I'll be doing.

Yelp
Stopped in yesterday on the 4th in need of some snacks. We had thin crust pizza and a couple rounds of drinks. It's a bit of a neighborhood divey spot, so it usually has a host of characters hanging out which is perfectly fine. Our pizza was crispy, the sausage was high quality Italian (my fave kind) and the bartender was attentive. All in all, a good visit.

Yelp
Awesome bar with solid by the slice pizza, great drink specials, and great atmosphere

Yelp
Chicago transplant here and I sure do appreciate a local Chicago bar. Haven't tried the pizza, but pretty happy they have tavern style (ie thin crust cut in squares) as it's a go-to Chicago dish, along with deep dish pizza (a monstrosity that Midwesterners appreciate, but their belt buckles don't). My go-to order has been the Chicago-style hot dogs, which you just can't go wrong with. Sport Peppers, green relish, tomatoes, mustard, celery salt, and you get TWO. So when you scarf down the first one faster than you can taste, you have a back up! Plus, they offer tater tots, which as I will always say, are my favorite thing. Not only the food, but they serve Old Style (go Cubs!) and Malort, which, if you're from Chicago, or ever visited a friend there, is a taste you will never forget, but we are proud of for some reason. And if you're a sports fan, they play the Chicago games on ALL the TVs. So you don't have to crane your neck to possible see a snippet of Chicago sports .

Yelp
Looking for good pizza and a laid back spot to have a beer or watch the game? Wyman's 5 is the spot to go. They offer both Chicago and thin crust options. We settled on "The Tree Hugger" and the flavors didn't disappoint ( my meat eating teenage son loved it too). There was a minor issue with our order and It was quickly resolved; Mike did a great job taking care of us! The staff did a great job handling the large crowds for the Nuggets game, service was A+. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Been coming to this place for years. Back in the day I would have given them 5 stars for excellent deep dish pizza and friendly service. Now this place is total shit. We had a bad experience last summer and decided to give them another chance. The bartender could have cared less about serving us and the boys making the pizza were more concerned about vaping and being on they phones. Pizza rolls were burnt and the deep dish pizza was hardly deep. I will not be coming back to Wyman's again.

Yelp
The wings= pretty good The thin crust pizza= so so so bad. Worse than your elementary school cafeteria. The ambiance outside= good The customer service = good I will only get wings and beer here. No thin crust ever again.
google avatar

Lindsay N.

Yelp
I ordered takeout thin crust tree hugger and fries. Pretty terrible thin crust pizza. It was incredibly soggy and made my stomach hurt afterwards. It also came with red sauce rather than the garlic and oil spread that it described online. The fries were inedible, really. Dry dry dry. I gave this place two stars instead of one because the people were really nice and the vibe seems chill. Maybe dining in is better!

Yelp
I have no connection to Chicago, but my husband lived there for a time and has fond memories. We've tried a few Chicago-related places in town, and he has declared Wyman's the best. The place has a very "neighborhood hangout" feel. Most patrons seemed to know each other. A server greeted us warmly and welcomed us as first- time guests. He said it was a good place to meet our neighbors (we moved into the area this year and can walk here from home). He asked our names and used them each time he visited our table. Husband loved his deep dish and said it was his favorite deep dish in Colorado. I enjoyed my sandwich. I'm sure we'll be back to try the Italian beef and to get to know our neighbors.

Yelp
Went once on a whim. Went back because it was very affordable and wanted to try the pizza. Zak, the bartender, remembered my name and drink AFTER THE ONE VISIT 2 WEEKS EARLIER. Am blown away by how unpretentious, nice and welcoming the staff is. Plus, the food is very good!! Affordable, great food, AMAZING STAFF. This is a neighborhood bar and grill with the enphasis on NEIGHBOR. 5 THUMBS UP!

Yelp
I love a dive bar with cheap beer, decent food, and a lot of regulars. Wyman's completely fits that bill. This used to be a regular spot for my best friend and I as it was located right between our apartments. The staff knows people and there are always a lot of characters who visit.
google avatar

Ali W.

Yelp
Very disappointed! Wanted deep dish tonight and the cheese isn't even melted! I was really looking forward to finding a deep dish place in town.

Peter K.

Yelp
the best pizza in Denver, cool bartenders, good atmosphere.
google avatar

Donald M.

Yelp
Wyman's has bought into the beer marketing idiocy of selling beer in 6 oz glasses, but charging patrons for 16 oz. AVOID Wyman's #5 at all costs until their management gets back to reality. For Now - WORST bar in Denver.
google avatar

Bret L.

Yelp
Great place for food and drink. Pizza is awesome. Staff is friendly. We go here all the time!
google avatar

Tai C.

Yelp
This place looks like a dive bar from the outside, but once you're inside, the ambiance is welcoming and comfortable. Our server's name was a happy guy named Meatloaf and he walked us through his favorite items on the menu, even making up a virgin cocktail for my little sister! We got the artichoke dip and it was more cheese than was expected, but some of the best I've ever had. The 14" deep dish "DA Bomb" is definitely enough to feed 4 people, and came to our table after about 20 minutes. If you're in the mood for Chicago-style deep dish pizza with little to no wait, I definitely recommend this place over Giordano's. The best sauce! (And reasonably priced)
google avatar

Andres C.

Yelp
I think the thin crust pizza at this location is hands down some of the best I've ever had. Cheesy bread was also really good. While not as good as in some other places around town, the bacon tots were quite good. Small but good selection of beer of draught. Reasonable prices on spirits. Service was pretty good on the two occasions I've gone. Once they forgot to put a deep dish in the oven, not only did they bring out it out quickly after admitting to their mistake but they comp'd it and threw in a free beer. Definitely an underrated bar in Denver in my opinion. Also, if you're a Chicago sports fan you'll love this bar as it's decorated wall to wall in Chicago stuff. Plenty of Chicago fans gathering on game days.

Yelp
Just a quick update since the last review was written four years ago. We still go here for pizza. We haven't really been to many games in the past couple years but we moved relatively close so hope to get here a bit more. It's fun if you are a Chicago fan for any of the teams. I could see why others wouldn't be as fond of it. When it comes to pizza and drinks and the staff it's hard not to like it.

Yelp
Met up with friends here on a Wednesday night. It wasn't dead, but it wasn't crowded either. There was a nice rumbling little crowd in to watch a hockey game on TV. Otherwise, it wasn't packed and crazy. It's the kind of place you want to get comfortable in. Yet service wasn't the greatest. My group was there before me and the server seemed to be on the ball with drinks. When the pizzas were ordered on the other hand, she seemed to all but disappear. The whole process of getting the check took a good amount of time, waiting for her to appear. She was nowhere to be found and since we were all waiting to get our checks signed and leave for the night, I decided to try to bring them up to her when I saw her at the bar. She told me to wait, and proceeded to go take care of a couple of tables and chat it up with them. Meanwhile, I just stood at the bar waiting. I thought that was kind of inconsiderate since I was standing right there and we had been waiting for her long enough. I don't know about you, but I don't like knowing that someone else is literally waiting around for me. I'd like to hope that this experience is not normal, and I'd like to be able to recommend this place if I can. I would be ok with returning if it's in the cards to give it a second chance. The pizza wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was decent and not terrible. I've had better deep dish. I just didn't love the crust, reminded me more of toast. On the plus side, they have 312 if you're into that. Hard to come by around here.

Yelp
Wondered into this place last night..... specials are awesome! Pizza was sooooo good!!! The bartender was super funny and friendly! His name's Meatloaf!! Def go see him! Oh and on top of it.....as I'm going to the bathroom, there's a dope mural on the wall!!!!

Yelp
This rating is for Wyman's thin crust pizza - carry out. I've enjoyed their pizza in the restaurant; but this carry out pizza was a disappointment - much of it ending up in the trash. The pizza was soggy and stuck to the foil liner at the base of the box. It appeared to steam in contact with the foil somehow, resulting in a gooey, stuck-to-the-foil crust. I could not lift a slice from the box - it all stuck to the foil. Upon peeling off the foil, the crust was wet. Sorry Wyman's; I'm from Chicago and loved your pizza at the bar, but this takeout landed in the trash and we made a different dinner ourselves. Ditch the foil liner and cook the Pizza more - you should be able to remove a slice from the box. By the way, we picked up at the time Wyman's suggested and had it home in 20 minutes.

Yelp
Came here for some beers with some friends on a Friday night. I'm 24 and have a vertical ID due to California's strange ID expiration structure. It is not expired and is valid identification. For some reason Wyman's is one of the few establishments that refuses to take them, with no real explanation other than it being "corporate policy". If they could give me a good reason I wouldn't have a problem with it but I have yet to receive one. The bartender was rude when telling me this and it ruined a night with my friends. I won't be recommending Wymen's because of the policy and the bartender's poor attitude.

Rindi G.

Yelp
Stopped by tonight and so impressed with the service. The bartender, I think his name is Steve, was cleaning the table and restrooms constantly. He was washing his hands and on top his service at the same time. I am still worried about going out for a beer, but I will come back here because they are serious about compliance to health codes. Thanks! I will be back.

Yelp
Awesome place, fantastic and friendly service. The top of the cherry, the awesome mirror drawing in the hallway.

Erick M.

Yelp
I have never been to a restaurant where i have to question if my deep dish pizza is a thin. I almost wanna just solely blame the cook for messing up. But after reviewing other reviews i see that this is just how DEEP DISH pizzas are served here now. This place was the go to spot for REAL DEEP DISH 2 years ago. On this specific night I also ordered two orders of wings which used to be delicious, probably best in town. How ever this go around they looked and tasted like some Tyson frozen hot wings. Under cooked and drenched in some nasty buffalo sauce. On the good side our server was great, and the THIN crust pizza wasn't too bad either, but if i want and order a deep dish i expect to get served a true deep dish pizza. With that being said I will not be returning or recommending Wyman's anytime soon.

Blake G.

Yelp
Went to Wymans on 7/13 to watch the MLB all star game with a buddy...got an order of the wings and a single slice of pizza. The pizza was really bad, but the reason I'm writing this review is to worn my fellow humans....DO NOT order the wings. The flavor was disgusting and the wings had a weird mushy fat too them that looked like yellow cottage cheese. They were also the tinyest wings I've ever seen. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they had a sniper across the street shooting pigeons and frying them up. Wymans, you should be abso ashamed of yourself for serving these to people and charging for them. I wouldn't eat their wings if they were paying ME to eat them!! On one positive note...the bartend was friendly.

Yelp
Super happy this joint is a block away. We've just moved to the neighborhood, and they've hit two for two so far! First night cheesy bread and pizza. Tonight, artichoke dip and chicken parm sandwich that were off the chartS delicious. Not pricey and great happy hour prices. (New review....NOT ENOUGH WAITSTAFF. One bar tender and one bar-back who acts as a waiter. Still best pizza in town, but freaking hire some people.)
google avatar

Yelp
What can I say about a Bears bar as a Bears fan?!? Great little spot to eat, drink, and be merry with my fellow Chi town fans. Pizza was good, drinks were better. Street parking, but I found a spot easily. Good service as well. I WILL BE BACK!
google avatar

Yelp
Whman's No 5 is great Chicago bar. The food, especially the deep dish pizza is top notch. The place has great local bar feel. I have given the bar 3 stars based on the loud music. I have nothing against music in any way shape form or fashion. However, when the music is SO loud that you can not hold a conversation with the person who is sitting less than 2 feet away from you..it's a problem. This went on for the entire duration of our meal and drinks. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about this bar. Try it out. The food is great.

Macy M.

Yelp
Welp ! I've been to Wyman's pre-COVID for after work drinks. First time ordering take out and HOLY COW. Everything has been amazing. 18/10 will be ordering from here again. Thanks y'all! Keep up the good work :~)
google avatar

Sara W.

Yelp
Calling all Chicagoans! There isn't a better place in Denver to root on all your Chitown favorites. They usually have great specials during sports events($3 Old Styles) and Chicago style dogs and pizzas to make you feel right at home. I'll be honest, it's no Portillo's or Peqod's, but it gets the job done. Watching the Cubs win the World Series here is not something I'll soon forget. Fly the W!

Yelp
I came in for happy hour. The special is $1 off wells, drafts and craft drafts. My taste portion had a lot of foam on the top but I ordered it anyway. I also ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich. The sandwich was a little tough on the roof of my mouth.
google avatar

Diana W.

Yelp
While reading the reviews, I braced myself for a long wait and for bad service.... But we had great service!!! This little bar is right by my house so that's a plus already! The menu is simple: sandwiches, salads, wraps, fries, but they have deep dish pizza! I got the cheesy tater tots which were meh but the couple said the deep dish pizza was one of the best they had! We were there for about 4 hours and our drinks were NEVER empty. The music is not so loud where you can't hold a conversation! Will I be back? Heck yes! Did I mention they had happy hour until 11?! what place does that on a Saturday night?

Yelp
The Ladyfriend and I (along with a few others from our Coed Volleyball team) went here after a recent game at the Cheese as prompted by the playcoed.com staff. Wymans #5 is the sponsor bar for our league, apparently, and there were beer specials and some other things happening, so we thought, why not check it out. Free beer! Though we only sipped on Coronas, and didn't get to see how any of the draughts were poured, we did order some pizza which was wonderful. The lady and I ordered the Guido, which is ham salami and pepperoni and onions and fresh basil (cheese and sauce of course) on a "thin crust". I use beloved quotes because when they say thin crust, they don't actually mean thin crust (Thank the pizza gods!) Anyone who follows my reviews knows that I cannot stand thin crust pizza, it's a waste of a pizza. If I wanted pizza toppings on a cracker, I'd put pizza toppings on a cracker. Thin crust pizza is worthless. If you aren't eating deep dish, or even just a pan pizza, you are completely missing the wonders of pizza. I digress. The guido was wonderful, and our teammate M got a deep dish white pizza with approximately 400lbs of mozzarella. That's an accurate number. It was also delicious. That's an accurate adjective. They also had several flat panel HD televisions scattered about the bar, so I feel like it has to be good for a sports bar. **Note** This place is a Cubs bar, so....well make any jokes you like. But it explains the great pizza. Service was friendly (I've never been thanked for coming to a bar 6 times on the way out) and I wish I lived closer so I could go back more often. Seems like a great watering hole with decent prices (HH looked solid) and good food, good crowd, and a good staff. I'll be back at some point, I'm sure. Maybe see you there!

Yelp
Good old fashioned neighborhood bar sort of vibe. Lots of wood, tvs, low lighting, etc. Bartenders and wait staff are friendly and approachable. They have a good selection of beers, it's usually not too crowded, and their Chicago deep dish pizza is really tasty.
google avatar

Katie F.

Yelp
I met miss Laura L here the other night for a quick bite and came to realize my passion for neighborhood bars. Tucked right next door to Lik's Ice Cream, this cutsey little bar had me feel right at home. Other guests brought their games ( battleship, mancala and more!) Laura and I were busy chatting away when a plate of DELICIOUS tatter tots arrived. Not only Laura's favorite, but my new favorite as well! I ordered the cobb salad with chicken and was amazed to see my plate overloaded with meat (yum!), cheese, eggs, and spinach leaves. All equated to YUM-OO!! Anytime i'm in this neck of the woods, i'm returning for beer and tots... and that's all she wrote.

Yelp
Great tasting Chicago pizza both thin and deep dish. $3 coors light it otherwise not the greatest beer selection, better than most places back home with this vibe through. Cool part of town quiet enough during the week and on the weekends but packed and a great environment during any Chicago playoff run. Good size with plenty of seating, this is my go to bar for pizza and sports any day of the week.

Yelp
I love this place. Friendly neighborhood joint with great food - try the pepperoni rolls, you won't eat disappointed. However, if you plan to show up on one of their busy nights, especially when the Bears are playing, don't expect good service. Plan to sit for periods of time with an empty glass and don't expect to get your food in a reasonable amount of time. Advice for the owners, staff your busy nights better. Expect to be busy even if Chicago teams aren't in the top of their league.

Yelp
So..against my better judgement, a friend dragged me to Wymans..stating it was different now. I was weary..but, like with most things in life..2nd chances should be awarded as I would hope when I require them, someone is equally as generous. So I went. I have to say, the bartender, Meatloaf, was SUPER friendly..attentive..and just on point! He's likely the reason we stayed and ordered food..in which I'm glad we did because OMG..the artichock dip and bread was heavenly! Living less than a block away from this establishment..I'm tickled to know that it's an option now to meet friends and grab a beer/bite!

Yelp
Wyman's is a great neighborhood bar. Lots of options on tap, a full bar for the non-beer drinkers, and they make a pretty good pizza. If you get by there on a hot summer day, you can grab a cone from Lik's Ice Cream right next door, polish it off with a tall cold one, then get back to the day...

Yelp
I have lived nearby for 5+ years and finally gave this a try. I heard I was missing out, but that is not the case. I heard all about their deep dish pizza and was hungry too. It came and looked good, but the crust was overcooked, dry and dense. And for a cheese pizza, there was not enough cheese. It may have been cheap, $15 for a 14" large, it would pay more for better pizza. Maybe I'd return for drinks at the bar.

Yelp
Very slow service and always under staffed. Reasonably priced neighborhood bar with decent food (Chicago style deep dish pizza, barbecue wings, etc.)

Yelp
Favorite Chi-Town bar in Denver. I feel like I'm home in my Colorado town. Best deep dish, Chicago style pizza hands down. Wyman's is the place to be whether you're a Chicago fan or not. Go Cubs Go!
