Wyndham House

Been here many times, the food was great! I ordered the chicken and chips with chicken skin, chicken mayo and stuffing and Sriracha — and it was delicious and yummy. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked, not mushy at all. The service was also friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back. My brother also loves the quality of meat from the butcher side - excellent value.

I arrived after 3.00pm, when you could understand if the staff were tired after a busy lunch service….. and maybe low on available options. Instead I was welcomed warmly, and offered a variety of tempting meals. Honestly, my choice was absolutely delicious. AND I was given a recommendation for the ‘best coffee’ in Borough market - which proved to be justified. All in all, I can’t recommend this business highly enough.

I saw some of the bad reviews, but both times I’ve been here, the food was great! I ordered the chicken and chips with eggs — no Sriracha or sweet chili, just mayo and ketchup — and it was delicious. So many places to choose from in Borough Market. We chose this place after wandering around for a bit. I had the chicken and chips. The service was fast and efficient. The lady asked me if I wanted some crispy skin, roast chicken salt on my fries. I said "Sure. OMG!!!!! I can honestly say this is probably the best condiment I have ever had in my life. It was like a flavour explosion in your mouth. I wish they sold it. I would go back for that alone. Fast food? I guess technically it is but Wow. Unbelievable.

Ordered from here while visiting borough market! Que wasn’t too bed and service was quick & friendly (esp as we were a bit picky with sauces etc) was good food chicken was lovely! Portions were ok! Chicken & chips was probably the best value.

Server has a rotten attitude. I came here at 10:30am, borough market is quiet and peaceful at this time and the blonde lady behaved like I was a huge inconvenience to her. Just wanted to buy a sandwich, she made me wait whilst she collapsed some boxes then proceeded to speak in the most rude tone.

We visited Wyndham House at Borough Market on my birthday, and I was pleased to discover it was the lovely lady’s birthday too who was working there! We ordered two of The Wraps, and mooched down the road to eat them away from the hustle and bustle of the market. They were absolutely DELICIOUS. Honestly the best thing I’ve ever eaten, and I would go all the way back there just to have this again. Thank you so much & I hope you had a good birthday 🥰

Poor service.. server was too busy having a chat with her mate to focus on doing her job. Chicken was slimy and cold, chips were lukewarm at best, topped off with a dollop of mayonnaise on top which made it virtually inedible
