Wynn Las Vegas' Lake of Dreams enchants with free, dreamy aquatic shows featuring whimsical acts like flying astronauts and dancing frogs, running nightly.
"A forthcoming seafood restaurant helmed by Executive Chef Martin Heierling, featuring caviar, crudo, seafood platters, fresh pasta, and fish dry-aged in-house. Located on the shore of the resort’s Lake of Dreams with a redesign featuring reflective mosaic floors and an expansive bar." - Janna Karel
"When Steve Wynn bought the old Desert Inn to turn it into Wynn, he built a 130-foot mountain that he covered with pine trees (salvaged from the Desert Inn's golf course). Why? He didn't want his guests to look out the window and see the spaceship-shaped Fashion Show Mall across Las Vegas Boulevard. Since its opening in 2005, the waterfall at the Lake of Dreams has functioned as a daytime oasis, and a screen at night, on which you can see surreal performance videos, an animatronic frog with the voice of Garth Brooks (popularly known as "Wynnie"), and a number of other mini-shows that rotate from sundown every half hour until 11:30 p.m. Among the playlist of three-minute performances is a chilling and beautiful rendition of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” by LA’s Rock Mafia. If you have kids, you MUST bring them." - Andrea Bennett
"Staged outdoors with open-air patios for viewing, the Wynn Lake of Dreams show is a complimentary multimedia experience that blends colorful puppetry, an immersive soundtrack, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting. The show runs multiple times every night, starting at dusk." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"When you want a show before your show, head to Lakeside in the Wynn. If you sit out on the patio, you can watch the nightly light and water show, which happens every 30 minutes from 8pm-12:30am. The best deal here is the prix-fixe that pairs one of their unique cocktails and three courses with a ticket to one of their shows all for around $150. You’ll choose between mostly seafood dishes, though they have steak and chicken options as well." - milena difiore
"Last fall, Wynn Las Vegas revamped its Lake of Dreams show. Dine at SW Steakhouse or Lakeside on the patio at either restaurant, or grab a cocktail at Parasol Down to watch a show with 12 new acts set to a range of songs, complete with rolling emojis, a flying astronaut, a singing frog, a mermaid, and even a shark fin roaming the lake beneath a waterfall. The show is free and runs nightly every half hour beginning at dusk." - Susan Stapleton
