"In ancient Slavic mythology, Wyraj is a land where souls journey after death, a kind of paradise. That promised land lends its name to this hidden-away restaurant, which provides its own kind of haven. Snug and cosy, it’s a welcoming place where diners can discover the Slavic flavours of old. That could mean earthy beetroot soup, intensely flavoured goose leg or traditional mushroom cake for dessert. Everything is made in-house and offers brilliant value for money too. It’s a different, distinctive place that’s all the more memorable for it." - Michelin Inspector

Polish fusion cuisine. Food was delicious. Staff extremely nice and helpful. One thing which i did not like was portions of food - very small. Other than that excellent restaurant giving guests a chance of tasting a bit tweaked polish cuisine.

An absolutely wonderful experience! Every dish is a piece of art and is delicious! I don’t know what people who give poor rating are talking about! It’s my third time this week in this place since I have discovered it and the service is exceptional - amazing people working here, wonderful atmosphere and rustic smell which also contributes to the atmosphere!

We went for Sunday breakfast at Wyraj. The wait for food was a bit long – about 30 minutes – but it was worth it. A special mention goes to the flatbread with pumpkin spread and smoked goat cheese, which was outstanding. We also tried the flatbread with scrambled eggs, wild boar sausage, and mushrooms – tasty, though a bit dry, so we ordered some olive oil to go with it. The bread with butter and salt was delicious – fresh, warm, and crispy – definitely worth ordering. The interior is unique, with carpets on the walls that add a nice touch, though the poufs aren’t the most comfortable for longer seating. Overall, it was a good experience, and we’ll definitely come back!

What an amazing experience we had last night! We Walked without any recommendation just from the street and suddenly we were transformed into the atmosphere taken out of the mythical world of the pre-medieval Slavic culture!!! To start with ambiance, amazing presentation superb quality and freshness of the food ( herbs from a garden growing just at the restaurant). It is definitely not a fast food type and owner who we met Mr Damian and the head Chef, both put huge amount of efforts and attention to details. Starting with sage incense and ritual, to the dishes so exquisite, fresh and healthy that I have never experienced before.deserts had not only fantastic presentation but also delicious and complex. The owner then invited us to taste traditional polish liquors so extraordinary and unusual that I never experienced!!! Followed by coffee made from acorns. Amazing healing souls and body experience.🧙🏻‍♀️ Michelin star experience on shoe string. Great Ambiance and very trendy location as well. Strongly recommending this eclectic extraordinary experience!!!

Delicious, creative, modern takes on often-forgotten recipes and ingredients. We’ve visited several times for both breakfast and dinner, and we’ve never been disappointed. Although the wait times can be long, the taste and presentation are always on point. The seasonal menu changes every couple of months, so there’s always something new to discover. The place is a bit small, so consider making a reservation, especially if you plan to visit during peak hours.

After all the hype in the media I was an actually looking forward to my visit at Wyraj. It started really good with great barszcz soup, but other starters (served with soup not before) and later the mains were just okay. Not saying the product is bad (you can feel it being of high quality), but something is missing in this restaurant. Moreover, rhetorical service is really bad - we not only had to ask couple of times for water, but most of all had to wait almost 90 minutes for main dishes. On the positive note the atmosphere is really nice, with tribal music leveling up the authenticity. However, one thing is a bit off - to make the place even more authentic they disperse scent of a campfire. It would be great to state it upfront - my clothes and my jacket are all smelly. This is truly bad.
