Xian Rio

Love love LOVE Xian! The ambiance is perfect and being able to see the sunset while dining is nice. As for the food, it was perfect! The food was soooo good I had to go to Xian again within the week I stayed in Rio. This place was the first I ever had an Ox Rib and it did not disappoint. It was huge and even hard for three people to share. It was cooked so tender and juicy. The Black Salmon was another good one and the Ancho Steak was a perfect cut and cooked perfectly medium well. Oh and how could i forget the Ox Dumplings. Those ox dumplings gave meJamaican oxtail taste and it was soooo good. Talk about a home away from home. For desserts, I recommend the rice cake and brownie. So rich in flavor and thankfully, not too sweet. Also, want to give a special shout out to our waiter, Kyle (or Kael? Forgive me if I misspelled), who was an absolute sweetheart and provided great customer service. I also want to give thanks to the other staff and the chefs who greeted us and waved to us goodbye both trips to the restaurant. I will always have Xian in my heart and will always come here whenever I go to Rio.

Beautiful views! This location is located in the shopping plaza. The rooftop was a challenge to find, but an employee on the lower level was quick to assist me with locating. The service was great. The rooftop overlooks the marina. The food was filled with flavor and well portioned. The oxtail dumplings are a must try!

We could not finish our plates though we were hungry, when we communicated this they said the Chef tasted it and it was good. Felt gaslighted

The waiters are very polite and helpful. The atmosphere is nice. Waiting time for food is quite slow. Food taste is simple. Dumpling is quite disappointing.

Do not eat any sushi . They do t know how to make . I had grilled fish it was better. Amazing view but need a real chef they have cooks not chef. Great view great service . Food is very average

First, our Waiter, Fabio, was superb ( and that level of attention simply does not exist here in Rio)! Second, the drinks and deserts were really creative and flawlessly executed. Delicious!!! Third, we tried 8 dishes and of those 1 was great (black salmon)….the others were just ok. Finally, the view is spectacular; great place to find a relaxing atmosphere with over the top views of Rio.

Incredible atmosphere, great view and good service. Fair price for what is delivered. Not only for airport guests but good place for city centre customers.

Went for my birthday lunch. On the terrace of a shopping mall, right by the airport. Nice views from the open section of the water and overlooking the sugar loaf mountain etc. I sat inside because of the weather. Service was very good - friendly and professional. Food was delicious and the presentation was very nice too. Except for the desert, I had the special one, and felt the description wss exaggerated. The cake was too sweet and the sauce made it even more so. Prices are expensive. But 25$ for a main dish with rather small portion is a bit much, in my opinion. A Caipirinha, dumdum starter, Camarao curry main, chocolate cake desert and an espresso cost above 50$. This included a service charge of 12%+ They wished me for my birthday, but would've been nice to at least offer the little espresso for free. Well.
