Xie Bao Crab House Edison 蟹宝

Came here with some friends for dinner based on a recommendation. We ordered a handful of dishes which included the coconut shrimp, fried lotus, crab roe over rice, pan fried roe and pork dumplings and a few other things. Everything I had tried was good in my opinion. I usually don't go out of my way for seafood but glad I came to try it regardless. The service was also really good and ordering is through an iPad so it was chill.

The food is definitely delicious and flavorful. Although the pricing is higher than expected, but it’s worth a try. Besides the crab meat noodle, I actually really like the soup rice. It was sweet and great seafood taste. The service was good. Waiter was very friendly and gave some suggestions since we’re first time guests there. This would be a place I would return back.

Finally was able to come and try this place out! Just moved to NJ and this was all over TikTok. Jenny was so sweet and explained everything we ordered and best way to eat it! She truly was a gem and made the delicious food even better with her service. Recommend!

Absolutely delicious! I tried their freshly baked crab meat mooncake and the crab roe rice — both were incredible! The mooncake was warm, flaky, and filled with real crab meat, and the crab roe rice was super flavorful and fragrant. You can really taste the freshness in every bite. Highly recommend this place if you love authentic crab dishes!

2025.07 pretty much every dish have crab meat. All same crab meat and sauce. Their signature crab rice or noodle has a bowl of crab sauce, make it the most worth it dishes but it is a bit expensive $37. Even noodle is unlimited refill. I will look for alternative crab with tofu. The crab bun is definitely not worth it. Restaurant itself is not super fancy, ok, comfy enough. Service is so so.

The crab meat sauce with rice is special and delicious, but it’s quite expensive for the size. The crab with noodles looks good, but the crabs have not much meat. The buns are pretty good. The vegetables with crab sauce is the best one. The restaurant is quite empty in a Saturday evening, might be due to the location (second floor).

The service was quick and the food delicious! We ordered the coconut shrimp, popcorn chicken, crab roe tofu and crab glass noodles. The portions were very generous and very much a family style shareable vibe. If you like a more quiet yet comforting meal come here

All the Crab dishes was the same taste, from Appetizer, Crab bao/ Dumpling to the main dishes, same flavor and kinda bland. The Fried fish with sweet and sour sauce was good 👍 Somehow this restaurant have 2 names, which I think is the same. It's a same address when you Google it.
