"Its hallmark beef soup is simmered with beef bones, brisket, fat and onion and thin slices of lean beef are added just before serving. Pour on a dash of rice wine for extra fragrance or dip the beef in the fiery home-made chilli sauce for a kick. The assortment soup offers a choice of cuts from beef tendon and brisket to liver and all the soups come with a bowl of steamed rice or braised pork rice. Stir-fries like beef with kale are also worth trying." - Michelin Inspector
***My favorite beef soup***
Everything at the store is made with care. The broth for the beef soup is made from brisket meat. I suggest the mixed soup. You will get many pieces of different meat. The stir fried liver is also very good. The pork rice is average.

Stopped by at 6am on a weekday because it was one of the few restaurants open. The soup was rich and had depth like a broth that had been simmering from the time when Tainan was still the capital city. The beef cuts and organs were tender with a slight spring to them - the ideal consistency. They have an English menu and service was fast but not rushed.

The beef soup is really yummy. There are 3 prices about beef soup. There are a lot of beef at soup. That’s really good. The boss taught you how to use the dipping sauce with beef. If you would like to try spicy you could add spicy sauce. That is really spicy a lot.

The beef soup is so simple but so good. The staff were really friendly to us as well, and could tell that we were tourists. A great spot that I recommend to everyone travelling to Tainan! PS: The rice with the meat on top is also delicious!

My first time eating Tainan Beef Soup and my first time in Taiwan from England.
It didn't disappoint and was so hearty, fresh, quick, good service and price, everything was perfect.
The homemade chilli sauce was also great!
I would definitely recommend and come back one day.

Dont leave Tainan without getting the absolutely delicious breakfast here but make sure you get there early. The staff here is super welcoming & helpful.
They have English menus, so ordering is a breeze.
We got the Beef Soup, The Beef Tendon Soup, The Cold Beef Tendon in Sesame oil & Beef & Kale stir-fry. All of these were just so scrumptious & filling. Dont forget to give the house special chilli sauce a try.
Awesome Brekky!

Tasty choices for beef soups with different types. Stir fried dishes were also tasty. Unfortunately liver was sold out but we still enjoyed all the rest. All staff members are extremely friendly and able to accommodate our language barriers, even with Korean and Japanese menus and instructions.

The beef soup looks really simple, but it’s packed with so much flavor. The boss is also very friendly and helpful. He provided us with an English menu and explained how the locals usually use the condiments on the table for their meal.
