Xochi Mexican Cuisine

The first time I ordered from this place, the food was phenomenal! The second some was not good. The tacos has less meat, were completely soggy on the bottom and fell apart. The Al pastor was mostly fat/gristle, and the tinga tasted off. Elote was good both times. First 2 pics - First order 3rd Pic - Second order

Today is my third visit to Xochi and it’s been a charm each time! Their food is always fresh and full of flavor, it’s homemade and it certainly tastes like it. I’ve only been during lunch, so it’s always quiet, not many people in the restaurant but the quality and temperature of their food is constant. I ordered 3 taco Tex mex w/ rice and beans. The rice and beans are the best I’ve ever tasted. In addition to the food, the host Daniel is always so pleasant and welcoming. He makes the experience even better. Overall 10/10

Really good soft tacos. I got three: chicken, carnitas, and chorizo Texas style (with lettuce, tomato, and cheese). Two tacos would have been enough, they are so filling, with side of rice and beans. Nice people working there. Got it to go for lunch, and it smelled so good in the car I had to take a peak at the stoplight.

Went here yesterday with my friend and it was the cutest place ever! The valentine’s day decor was so cute. The girl we had as a server was super welcoming and kind. I had a steak torta and it was DELICIOUS. Soft bread, delicious steak, and the toppings were yummy. I will definitely be going back. (we got churros to go and they were perfect)

Complimentary Margaritas, top Notch Mexican food. Good service, plenty of tables. Parking is the only challenge. Worth a visit for sure !!

Superb food. This is real Mexican fresh, not that awful fake orange+red glop we see elsewhere. The ceviche, guacamole, rich consumé, and SMOOTH custard flan were hits at our table. The server explained that the restaurant is the sixth one in their family-run business, which explains how they were so deliciously and efficiently run. When the server found out it was my birthday, she did something special to celebrate. If this place could use any suggestions at all, it would be to hire a HIGH END professional designer to improve atmosphere and seat quality. We look forward to returning soon for breakfast, which our friends say is phenomenal.

Oh my! This was downright the best mexican food I have had in a very long time. Everything was fresh and delicious. The food was so good that I do not know how to describe it in words other than just come and eat here. Get the Quesa Birria at least while you're here. I will be back, and I will be dragging my friends along with me. Great Job Xochi!

If you're looking for fresh flavorful Mexican food try this place. We had the taco platter with corn tortillas-each well stuffed each with different meats and a side of rice and black beans. Chips portion was small with enough fresh salsa. The pico had lots of cilantro and fresh tasting. Guacamole was a good portion. Their tomatillo sauce was mild and tangy.

The food was great. The service was friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere. Quiet location. It's was nice. We would return again. Not pictured was Pina to drink. I haven't had a good one since being home in Arizona.

We found Xochi to be a total meh. Genetic and bland. Overall the location is not well-suited for a restaurant. A liquor license and some parking would be helpful.

I ordered Al pastor tacos, horchata and tres leches cake for delivery last night. Everything came well packaged and warm. It was delicious. This is legit Mexican food. I will definitely be ordering from Xochi again. Welcome to the neighborhood! I'm sorry I didn't try it sooner.

Girlfriend and I came in on a Tuesday night. She is a vegetarian, while I am not. We had chips and salsa and picante. Top notch. She had veggie tacos that she raved about and I had a chicken dish that was out of this world. Highly recommend this place and it's a BYOB.

Good Mexican food in Northwest Philly? Thank the gods. We had a variety of dishes and they were all tasty. Looking forward to ordering again.

The food quality was great and portions were generous. The space is large and airy. The service was very good and they had homemade beverages that I really enjoyed.

Got a hibiscus water, fresh guacamole and salsa, and some tacos. All excellent! Extensive menu, clean with friendly service. Check it out!

Nice, clean and location is close to home. The service was quick and the employees were nice and accommodating. Good portions, but the food lacked flavor. It was pretty bland actually. I know it's a new restaurant so I'm hoping they take this review into consideration because I want to give it another try. :-)

New place with great food! So nice to have home cooked mexican with full body taste. BYOB an added bonus. We had two specialty dinners: seafood and lamb. Both were excellent and a lot of food. Try it. It's great!
