"Experience authentic Northern Vietnamese home cooking in this cosy restaurant, whose vintage interior is reminiscent of Hanoi houses in the 1980s and 1990s. The menu options vary daily, with simple yet delicious dishes like stir-fried water spinach with garlic and deep-fried tofu with green onion. A comfortable venue at eater-friendly prices, while the helpful staff is on hand to explain the Vietnamese menu in simple English." - Michelin Inspector

I went just before peak dinner time at around 5.45pm without a reservation. The staff tries to explain the food when I was placing my order. Food was good, however the portion size is small. So if you are visiting with a big group, order more. The restaurant is located in an alley, so open your eyes!

This place is famous for its home-cooked Vietnamese dishes and has made the Michelin shortlist three years in a row. I actually really like the semi-retro decor and the whole atmosphere, cozy and charming. That said, the food itself is still pretty average. Compared to spots with similar concept like Tầm Vị (which I’m not even crazy about), this one is noticeably weaker. Prices are steep for what lands on the plate. Service is decent, but nothing standout.

Michelin Guide listed since 2023. It's worth a try for a Vietnamese traditional daily meal. I like the ambiance since when you step in the small alley till inside the shop. Feel like find some sweet childhood memories. Quite crowded at lunchtime, reservation recommended. Pricey a bit for local but reasonable and worthy for tourists' experience.

Second time here and the food did not disappoint. Really gives a homely feel, like your grandmother is behind the kitchen.

Come and try the local home cooked Vietnamese Cuisine. You will not regret. It's a GEM.

We got a delivery order with 2 different sets of family meals. Really surprised by how expensive it was for the sets (despite the big portion, the dishes were quite bland for my taste). The mulberry yoghurt was however really good, worth a try!

Super cozy and homey vibe restaurant that’s a bit far from the city center. The menu is very simple, home style dishes with not a lot of fuss but they’re charming with their quality and simplicity. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food is cheap and the atmosphere super nice
