Xscape Factor-Escape Rooms Fayetteville NC

Me and my daughter did our first ever escape room here and we can't recommend it enough. The people were so sweet and awesome. The room was very well thought out. We didn't make it out in time but we still had a blast. We are definitely going to come back and try another room! The building it's in was so cute also and literally was worth the drive. Can't wait to try again

We wandered in randomly on a Saturday and crushed a pair of rooms! The staff was super helpful and accommodating, which made the whole experience that much better. The puzzles were fun, engaging, and definitely not a cake walk. If you need assistance the staff is also super helpful when you get stuck! 10/10 would come back again

We took my daughter to celebrate her 14th birthday and I'm glad we choose this place! We did the circus of the damned room and it was our first time doing any sort of escape room. We didn't quite make it out, so now we are on the run from the law lol. But in all seriousness, we were able to see what we missed and how close we were to the finish line. The staff, Jerome and Jay, were awesome. They were welcoming and explained everything we needed to know. 10 out of 10, would recommend. We will be back next weekend to try another room! Thanks for the great time. If you're trying to figure out if you should book it, DO IT!!! Even my 11 year old son who hates puzzles loved it.

I had so much fun, and so did my co-workers. We got the Al Capone room! It was very thought provoking to try to bust out, but we did it in 10 min to spare. I also loved the idea of getting lunch and eating it there. A great way to enjoy a little bit of downtown.

First off, I went Saturday night and the night crew was amazing! They inform us about everything we needed for neebies! This place is absolutely amazing! Took my dad to this place, and it was our first time ever doing an escape room, and it was amazing!! We did the Al Capone room :)

We had so much fun today! This was the second time this week we came in, lots of team work and fun to be had. Definitely will be going back to do all the rooms available!

Great time and a great way to spend some time. Reserving a time makes it easy to plan and do a date night. The team working was friendly and we had a blast with them while solving the problems. It's a great place to try for a first time experience with an escape room. We will definitely go back to try the other rooms.

I had Family in town for the weekend and I was looking for something fun and interesting to do with them after brunch. Then I remembered this little place tucked behind the arch down town! We came in and were greeted so warmly by the owner. I never caught his name, but he was so nice and helped get us all set up to solve a murder. There are a handful of different rooms that you can try, and I already know which one I want to do next. The room we did was recommended because of the fact that there was four of us and we would have space to spread out and all be in on the game. Once we were locked in, we got right to it! You can get clues along the way and there are folks watching you to make sure everything is ok. I am sure they were laughing at us, as we are a very animated bunch! There is a screen in the room to pay attention to, and they will also guide you through a speaker in the corner. The clues and puzzles inside are done really well and are pretty tricky. We missed solving our murder by only minutes!!! We knew who did it, but had a few stumbles along the way getting things done quickly enough. It was still a super fun time, and I know that my Husband and I will come back to try out the other rooms!

That was fun! Highly recommend it attending it at least once. To stimulate your logic

I played two games at Xscape Factor and had a great time. The owners, Lee and Summer, were extremely accommodating and it's easy to tell that they love what they do and want to deliver an amazing product to their customers. The location is set in what I would call "Historic Fayetteville" and it truly adds to the feel of the scenarios. There was also plenty of parking in a safe neighborhood. Although both rooms were exciting, I liked the Al Capone room the most. The atmosphere was very inviting and it transported us back to the early 1900s. Bring your friends and play this room. It is seriously the most fun you can have in Fayetteville.

My daughter had her 13th birthday party here this past weekend and it was great. Her friends loved it. I have to say that it was great and went smoothly because of Kelly Ann. She was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Thank you Kelly Ann. This is by far the best escape room place in Fayetteville. The room was awesome.

Our family went to the serial killer circus room. The room was not well ventilated, but the fun is real. Teamwork and some clues from the staff made this a New Year's Eve memory that will last forever. Lee, the owner, is awesome and makes you feel right at home. Can't wait till the next time we go!

Was there last weekend for my niece 12th birthday party and it was great we had a blast. Three adults four very intelligent kids and we were kicking butt did not make it out on time but would still go back. Kool story line then clues to get into the object. If your looking for something to do in Fayetteville beside eating and gets your brain working come here you will laugh and excise your mind all in one place.

Had an awesome time here. Stumbled upon this place while in the Downtown area and decided to try it. We didn't have an appointment however, the owner was super nice/outgoing and got us in. The Big Top Murders room was great. I would definitely return to this place.

We did our first ever escape room here (and managed to pick the hardest room they have). Despite failing miserably, we had a great time and went back the very next weekend to do the second hardest room. Great staff, great experience, and we were excited to support a military owned business. I highly recommend!

We've done both escape room places in Fayetteville, but Xscape Factor takes the cake! Their rooms have so much more thought and detail put into them and the old building they are located in adds to the experience! Lauren was super friendly and helpful when we needed clues. We did Last Will and Testament and Abduction and they both were challenging and fun! We can't wait until they change the rooms over so that we can go back and continue on with the stories.

Super cool place. The rooms are fun and have interesting puzzles for everyone to get involve and solve together. Kellyann and Briana were super nice; would come again.

Just celebrated my daughter's 16th birthday here and this place was FANTASTIC!!!! The professionalism of the staff was outstanding. However, it was the overwhelming customer service that really did it for me. They made this day super special for my daughter and I am truly grateful. I don't usually do reviews but I want to make sure that I triple recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of doing an escape room experience.

Xscape Factor is not a typical escape company; they really take pride in what they have built, the owners design all the rooms and write all the stories. I came across them in my travels doing escape rooms all over (I am currently at 70 rooms). They had just opened about 3 weeks after I first went to them. The first room I did was Abduction - a solid puzzler with a great "X-files" feel. I was paired up with a group that had never done a room before, and although it was a hard room, we were able to "Xscape". A couple of months later I went back to try my hand at Big Top Murders - a bit scary, but FUN FUN FUN. After I got out of that one the owners - Lee and Summer - sat down and talked, knowing I had driven 2+ hours to them they even had lunch waiting for me when I got out of the room! Amazing customer service. Fast forward to recent, I was sent an email to come back and try their other rooms, it seems every couple of months they further the story of each room, each time making it fresh and exciting - I've never seen this done in an escape room before. Sure, rooms change out, but I have never seen the furthering of a storyline. I really love the story based idea, much more interactive and immersive than the typical here's a plot and here are some locks. You find yourself excited to know what is next. I went back again during the Dogwood Festival and tried my hand at the new version of Abduction, which was even better than the 1st! (no spoilers here!!). The staff are great, every one of them from the owners, to the managers, and the game masters. Friendly, no rush, and fun. They even let my group finish Last Will even though we were out of time. No other company has ever done that - others will show you what to do, but Lee and Summer just told us that our time was up, but to feel free to finish as we saw fit. What a great way to make you feel welcome.

Truly an amazing time! Izzy was awesome to work with. We celebrated a birthday there and they made it extra special. We escaped from Big Top Murders - Circle of the Damned bit it was not easy. Overall one of the best places to visit in Fayetteville for fun!
