These guys know what they are doing. My wife and I visited the Clovis Sierra Vista Mall location on April 4th, 2025 and I wasn't sure if we were ready yet to make a purchase. The excellent salesman helping from Santa Maria convinced me we were ready and showed us a fantastic model in my price range. Yesterday it was delivered and I am very happy with my purchase and all the help they gave me. The team that delivered it yesterday knew what they were doing, and the leader was fast with setting it up and hooking up the electrical and she also answered all of my questions and gave me valuable instructions. This is our first hot tub and much easier to take care of than our pools. We almost made a huge mistake and didn't go to a professional spa company to make this purchase. Many other places with no experience want to sell you one but if you do you're on your own after they drop it off on your driveway without any help getting it started or hooking anything up. I could not have done what the team delivering ours yesterday did. We will go back to Xtreme when we need anything for our spa because they know what they're doing.

Over the past year, I have had an extremely negative experience with the jacuzzi store where I purchased it. The employee who works there is consistently lazy and has a poor attitude. Today, when I went to buy chemicals, she was extremely rude and gave me an attitude when I inquired about what I needed. It seems that she dislikes her job, and she does not treat customers well, especially when you spend $15,000 on a jacuzzi. To make matters worse, when I went to pay for the chemicals, they claimed that my card did not go through. However, after I showed them that it did, they still insisted that I pay twice or they would not let me leave. I strongly recommend that you do not patronize this store. While it is important to avoid leaving negative reviews, my experience has been consistently negative since I purchased my jacuzzi.

I love my new spa and use it mostly every day. As I do allot of sports activity and work on my feet, it is great therapy physically and it's a tranquil place to chill mentally. Installation was a breeze after the the install of the electricity. The electrician they recommended, was awesome as well. I'm really glad I went with 240 wiring...more power to the jets and savings on the electricity bill. I purchased a small 2 person (seats 4 really tightly with legs drawn in) Jacuzzi refurbished model with only 7 jets, but the heater and pump are new from Xtreme Backyards, and many more jets would be overkill. I will not judge a spa by the number of jets in the future. This one's great!

Great experience. XB's provide a wide selection of hot tubs. All the staff (especially Jessica) were informative and accommodating. We ran into delays w/ electricians. It took almost 3 months to have electrical installed. XB held the tub through the elec. delays. We should have gone w/ their recommended electrician, Miles, from the start. He surveyed & installed the needed elec. work in about two weeks. He was professional and knowledgeable. Delivey/ setup crew was also great to work with. We would definitely recommend Xtreme Backyards.

Kathy and I had a great experience at the spa store. We are retired so we had to look for something that we could buy on a retired income budget. Tammy has a great selection of previously owned tubs that have been refurbished and we were able to buy exactly the one that we needed to have that was big enough for two or three people. She fixed everything that needed to be fixed on it got us a new top and had it delivered about a week before we originally thought we were going to get it. Her team brought the spa out in a timely fashion and we were able to use it the very same day. We needed to have electrical work done for the house and she arranged for that and the electrician did a terrific job. Yes we would recommend extreme backyards to anybody that's looking for a spa for their home.

Be careful if you buy from this company. Their warranty is a joke and they don't back their products. I paid extra for a warranty that I didn't read well enough; shame on me! The warranty covers parts but not labor. The labor costs more then the parts. The spa I bought was refurbished and they didn't do a good job. They told me all the components were new. After a year, it started leaking because they installed the pump pipes to close to the pump (the pump was new). Eventually the pipe broke and started leaking. They had no intention in backing their product. My overall experience was sad. They do not take care of their clients. I plan on upgrading but it won't be with Xtreme Backyards. Oh! And they are over priced. Go to Home-depot! Xtreme Backyards has proved they are dishonest as well as unwilling to back their product. If they wanted to make it right, they would send me a check for the warranty they have no plans of honoring.

I bought a reconditioned spa from Xtreme Backyards a couple years ago. Tammy was very informative and educated me on the care and maintenance of my spa. I had questions after purchasing, and she was always great about answering all my questions. Dave delivered my spa on time, as promised and set it up. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Purchased a Spa from Xtreme backyards. Had a power outage that blew out the plug after a couple months that wasn’t covered under warranty since it was caused by power outage not spa problem. The owner called back personally and sent someone over to check out the problem, replaced the plug and didn’t charge us for service call or plug! Thank you and much appreciated! Customer service gets an A+

Bought a hot tub from them at one of the Spa Fairs. Our model sprung a leak after 1.5 years. I called and did receive a call back but after the initial call there was always an excuse. "They are at a show this week....she will get back to you." Nothing. Then the the guy was on vacation. I left multiple messages but eventually I gave up. Tried to use a leaking hot tub best we could with no responses. Now it won't heat or jets don't come on. Probably fried something due to the first issue. DO NOT waste your money here. I bought a new tub from another local central coast vendor.

We had a very disappointing experience with Xtreme Backyards. They were at the Paso Robles Fairgrounds for their recent spa sale and I decided to attend. The shopping process was pleasant, welcoming, and my salesman was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. When I decided to move forward with the purchase, the salesman discussed the details of delivery and assured us that they would provide the delivery people who would remove the old spa and unload/install the new spa and I would only need to provide one person to be a spotter for their delivery people to ensure the spa doesn't tilt one way or the other. Delivery was very straightforward; my yard was very easy to get into and there was plenty of room. Then, when they called me to schedule delivery, they informed me I would need to provide two people to help with delivery and heavy lifting. I said this was not the agreement and that I didn't have anyone physically capable to help with this. Unfortunately, on delivery day, only two of their delivery people showed up. Me and my daughter were expected to move the old spa and unload the new one, which was something that we never agreed to and were unprepared for. I am a 62-year-old female with a back injury and was not able to help. If you go to the appliance store to purchase a new refrigerator, you aren't expected to have to help the delivery people drag it into your home and risk it being damaged, right? This was my fear as well as I didn't want to become injured and I didn't want my new spa damaged. To make matters worse, the new spa arrived on the delivery truck without any protective covering, plastic wrap, styrofoam, etc. It also had standing water in the bottom and water continued to drain from the jets during the moving process. It also had scrapes and scuffs on the top. There was a yellow hard water line around the entire inside of the spa. There was a sandpaper-like residue on the walls in the entire inside of the spa. The filters were filthy. And then I realized that I was given a floor/show model but I didn't agree to purchasing one. As of today, I am still working on removing the hard water residue on the inside and have yet to sit in and enjoy my spa. The delivery person poured some chemicals from the chemical kit into my spa and left. Considering this was a significant purchase, it was reasonable to expect a follow up call from a staff member to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase, the delivery process, etc. which of course, never happened. What was agreed upon during the sale was completely different from what actually happened. I feel misled and taken advantage of. This was a major purchase, and the lack of professionalism, customer service, and transparency is incredibly frustrating. Based on our experience, I recommend shopping around and purchasing from another company.

Purchased a tub less than a year ago and the pipes sprung a leak . Still under warranty but they charge $190 to come fix it . That's not really a warranty, that's just a way around it. Not a good way for a local family run business to operate and expect referrals or repeat customers.I fixed it myself for about $20 bucks.

Willing to help fix issues I've had with the hot tub and explained to me why I was having the issues. Truly appreciate the owner reaching out to make a difficult situation easier

We bought our hot tub from them 4 years ago. Use it 4 times a week. Best buy in town.

Thanks for the response to my review. I did not recommend you stop selling accessories, it is also an advantage to pay for convience of not buy online.. You are correct the mark up is not 100%. Just slightly under, regardless would still recommend anyone to buy a spa from this business. Great prices and fast delivery. Thank you

This is the best place to get a jacuzzi, they are amazing they were able to get me going in less than a week, they have the best quality spas

I think Victor and Leeah need to go elsewhere with their food. To give the company a bad review because they are offended by a no-food policy is immature and this is the kind of customer a company does NOT want. Go eat at the food court like respectable people. Regarding Extreme Backyards, I've had my spa for four years now and it has saved me on chiropractic visits after sports and it's a wonderful stress relief especially during this Covid time. The sales staff was great and the installation was seamless. Thanks for rebuilding my Jacuzzi spa to make it affordable to me. Happy holidays! RG

We love our spa from Xtreme Backyards. They were very professional, prompt and generous with our purchase and installation as well as helpful when we needed service on our heater. They work with Mario Lopez, service technician, of Central Coast Spa Services, who is very knowledgeable, professional and thorough. He took the time to explain things about the spa and programming in an easy to understand manner, and to implement. The folks at Xtreme Backyards made sure he knew our concerns and issues ahead of time so he came prepared with a replacement heating element just in case it was needed ... and it was ... so the service and replacement went very quickly and smoothly.

Awesome, great selections and customer service is great. Took a little longer to get our hot tub installed according to what we had scheduled but it did come. We love it!

Right on !!! Ok been years in the planning and Extreme Backyards finalized it by installing our Jacuzzi.. Excellent job Tammy and crew. Ok stage set, It's Fathers Day, Paso Robles a few months back my son and I went to a Jacuzzi display at the Paso Robles fair grounds.. Entered, looked around no pressure at all, as we looked around at the tubs. Found a few that we liked. Kicked it around and called the sales person over. No pressure just small talk as I wasn't in the immediate market to make my purchase. Well Guess what ? It was Fathers day after all !!! Discussed a few options with my son then called the sales person over and discussed the purchase. Typical sales team, saleman out getting the sale and then firming it up. Back and forth to the nest (consulting with the boss) then we gave him a offer that was reasonable for all involved and made a finalized the purchase.. We bought the tub... Not disappointed with the time frame, Fathers day to August 23rd. Unknown delays that we the purchaser dont see. They're a business where they fabricate and assemble dozen of Jacuzzi especially after a Fair promote. Little snafu with the delivery but to squawk about, its business. Tammy and crew after a few adjustment with slight date changes our Jacuzzi was delivered. Crew arrived from both directions, North and South and within an hour water was running and tub was heating and within a few hours it reached a reasonable temperature and in I went. Still learning it's operation and how things function. Like I said I could pick apart things but that is Business and the Pro's and Con's of purchasing and having a Jacuzzi built. "Patience prevailed" Extreme Backyards is all Pro.. Great job to all, truly appreciate all the interaction and questions answered. I think the owners need to take the installation crew out for some dinner at Jocko Steak House .. :) 100% happy with my investment. My tubs awesome !!! My wife and I just bought a large (Hawaii) SPA and accessories from Xtreme Backyards. We absolutely love it. It is better than we hoped. The SPA is absolutely the best I've ever been in, and I'm 6'5" and picky. Their design and the quality of the hot tub, jets , controls and pumps are top notch. They helped us with all the purchase decisions, setup, site preparations, electrical setup and installation choices. Everything went extremely smoothly. After installation they were still there for us answering questions and getting us familiar with operation and maintenance. Their people, from the owner and his wife, to the installation techs to the office managers, are all helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn't recommend them or their product any higher.

We bought our hot tub here for our 2nd home in SLO. My wife and I were super stressed about the whole process because the hot tub had to go on a roof-top deck which also required coordination with a crane company. Tammy was incredibly helpful and super easy to work with. She constantly kept in touch and did a ton of proactive prep work for us. The day of the delivery was a complete non-event because everything just went so smoothly. In addition, the guys who did the install were awesome. It was just a great experience all around. It's important to note that my wife and I are super picky and have high expectations in situations like this but I have nothing but great things to say about Xtreme Backyards.

Delivery time was good. Only complaint is I wish they had taken out the debris from the jacuzzi before filling it up with water and I cringed as I saw one of the delivery guys dunk his sweaty greasy curly long-haired head into my brand new jacuzzi that just got filled. And if you can't get out the basket that covers the filter, you'll get told you're the only customer who's ever had that problem. Do better Xtreme Backyards!

After trying to purchase a hot tub through Costco and feeling nothing but disappointment because they took way beyond the time stated to deliver, we cancelled our order and searched Yelp for hot tub stores in our area. We went to xtreme backyards one night and found the perfect hot tub at that same time. We talked with Tammy who is amazing and told her our story. She recognized our eagerness to finally get our hot tub (have been waiting almost 2 months) and acknowledged she would see how soon she could deliver. 9 days later our hot tub was set up in our backyard! We are so happy and will continue using xtreme backyards for future hot tub purchases. Tammy assisted us with talking to our electrician and getting the backyard ready for our hot tub. She coordinated a crane to lift it into our backyard and the delivery guys stayed until our hot tub was up and running. Highly recommend this store!

Great job at losing a CASH sale right now. My husband and I are both in our forties and we were told that we could not be in there with our "food". There were no signs on the exterior of the store stating that, only one saying "Sorry, No Public Restrooms". Maybe if we were children or teenagers, I would understand. But we are GROWN adults. I guess we will hold on to our money and go elsewhere. Smh. Maybe next time, learn to pick your battles.

Our tub kept turning itself off and the control panel said the heater pump was dry. After google did not help , I called xtreme backyards and they said I needed to replace the filters. Yay, problem solved. Thank you xtreme Backyards!

Bought my first hot tub here, Tammy was great! She put the hot tub on lay away for a couple extra months while I got the installation setup, which was very helpful and appreciated. Once I had the hot tub installed I had a couple of issues that Tammy promptly took care of. She definitely went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I would definitely buy again from her in the future thank you Tammy!

The Staff, Dave and Tammy were 100% helpful through the whole process of Selling us our Swim Spa. They helped arrange the electrician, the Concrete company, and the crane operator! All coordinated to have everything come together at the same time, a rather nice flowing process. Even after installation, the jets were not working, they had someone out right away, and is ow working perfect... thank you so much!

We were looking for a new spa and decided to start in Santa Maria with the thought of going out of town if necessary, but after our first of many visits to Xtreme Backyards we decided to purchase from Tammy. She was so kind and patient with all of our questions. They were very considerate when it came time to hold the tub for a period of time so we could prepare the site. I can't say enough good things about our experience at Xtreme Backyards.

I would say this is going to be a great hot tub. I have owned three Cal Spas but the service is actually absolutely horrible in Bakersfield. So i was waiting for a new company. Glad to hear they are local.. I bought mine at the Kern County Fair. Got a fair deal which helps. Nice set of jets and plenty of power. They are not even installed yet and I am happy.

Great products, terrible delivery. The sales girl was great while accepting our money but when it came time for delivery it was a nightmare. If you dont have to work for a living they are great! If you try to schedule your delivery, they are awful. The sales girl told me it would be on x date. My husband took work off to be there, the day before around 5pm we were called to say they couldn't be there because they had to install a pool and wouldn't have enough time...hmmm really? So I was upset and she said she'd try to squeeze us in the next day but they were pretty full. She then called back and said she was able to fit us in because she rescheduled another customer, so my husband requested another day off. Again, we got a call that evening and "our hot tub had a leak" bs!!!! She just couldn't fit us in. So finally two weeks after our delivery date promise and three missing days of work our hot tub was delivered. We were also told our hot tub came with a light and it doesn't. Again, love the product, hated the delivery. We will not return nor send our friends and family here.

If there was a zero rating I would rate it that. Terrible customer service rude non-integrity having people. The owner was extremely argumentative when I reached out for help regarding a jacuzzi I had just bought. Had it for less than a month had multiple problems rusted hinges, head cushions all came off within 2 weeks, 2 of the corner seat jets quit working on the third month. When I reached out to The owner about these problems she told me that there was nothing wrong with the jacuzzi without coming and checking it out and wanted me to pay $250 to have somebody come and check it out when I still had a warranty she never sent anyone and I'm still stuck with a BS Jacuzzi that halfway doesn't work and has fallen apart I would not recommend them whatsoever!

Just wanted to say Tammy was so helpful to find a part for me because I have a very old spa. She actually went into the backroom and found just what I needed. Good job.

This company was great to deal with. Our spa was easy to buy. It was delivered even earlier than expected. The delivery drivers were extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend Xtreme Backyards to anyone.
