I had a great Valentine’s Day brunch at XU in Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates. The brunch featured open karaoke and live entertainment, which added a fun touch without being overwhelming. The buffet selection was fresh and well-prepared, with good variety and quality. The staff were attentive and accommodating, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, a well-organized and enjoyable brunch. I’d definitely come back.💯

We loved XU at the Kempinski… A truly distinguished Cantonese dining venue, one that effortlessly blends refined elegance with a warm, social atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to share exceptional cuisine with friends, with every dish crafted to impress! I recommend the Singapore rice noodles, the black sesame and the coconut panna cotta. The wine selection elevates the experience, if you’re celebrating a special moment… We visited during the winter, the outdoor setting is nothing short of magical. The soft glow of the hanging lampshades and the impeccable service create an ambiance that feels so special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy an elevated night out!

Xu is located inside The Kempinsky which u can also access it from inside The Mall of the Emirates. The restaurant is spacious with warm interior decor divided into 3 sections: non-smoking, smoking lounge and a lovely outdoor seating. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by an amazing hostess who helped us pick a table that suited us. We had the formula of business lunch which is fulfilling and at a very affordable price. The food was good with relatively good portions and the service was fast. Both the manager and the waiter visited our table and asked of everything went well. I would highly recommend.

I visited here for as part of an event conducted in January, and the food, ambiance and service were top-notch. I tried a variety of their canapés such as Salt & Pepper Squid, Crispy Lemongrass Chicken, XU Crispy Duck Roll, Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin, Har Gow Dim Sum and Pumpkin Puff Dim Sum. These were all served piping hot. And their textures and flavors were spot on. They have indoor and outdoor spaces. The indoor area was beautifully laid out with ambient lighting. The event was conducted in the outdoor area and it was beautifully decorated.

Xu is such a solid spot for a nice dinner. The place feels really put together, dim and cozy, and the mood is exactly right for a chilled night out. Food was really good. Everything we ordered was genuinely delicious and the dessert was also really nice. Nothing felt heavy or disappointing, it was one of those meals where you keep taking bites like ok wait this is actually so good. Service was great too. The staff were warm and helpful and made everything feel easy without hovering or being awkward. Overall, great food, great service, and a really nice vibe.
