this place has quickly become a favorite spot to grab a sweet treat. the churros are super affordable and tasty! they are made fresh to order and are always hot and stuffed to the brim with filling. there is a couple minutes wait time since they are fresh but we’ve never waited more than like 12 minutes to get our order! place is clean, staff is friendly, churros are 5/5!

This place has been in my neighborhood for years and I'm not sure why this is the first time I'm going there. I love churros, ice cream, smores and funnel cakes! I decided on the churro sundae. The churro was super fresh, I was offered one topping (caramel) and they even gave me extra whipped cream (VIP!). The place was pretty busy and now I know why. I'll definitely be back soon!

Was there first thing Sunday morning for 1 churro. Walked out with all flavors. Tried strawberry 🍓 first. 10/10. Great customer service.

Warm churros made to order? Yes please! Prices are more than reasonable considering being in Chicago. I got the strawberry filled churro and it was tasty but getting it plain would be just as good. They only serve certain fillings each day so be aware of that. My options today were strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate. I really wanted cream cheese but that wasn't available today. Churros are about 12ins for $1.50 so that's pretty good in my opinion. If I didn't already have coffee for the day, I would have tried that as well. Will be back for that next time.

If you're ever in the North Center neighborhood and in need of a sweet treat, this is the place to stop! They have lots of different options when it comes to churros but on my stop, I went with the churro sundae. The churro was freshly cooked after I put in my order and added to ice cream and whipped cream to the mix. Made for an excellent dessert after eating across the road. I'm excited to go back as I didn't try any of the fillings, nor the S'more Milkshake (which looks SUPER decadent!). A nap will certain be needed after trying that. The service was excellent as they had many to-go orders while I was there but they were still very attentive and made sure my order was filled right away.

My boyfriend and I had a sweet tooth and craved churros so we stopped by. I ordered the marzipan De La Rosa churro milkshake and my honey ordered the horchata churro milkshake. We both agreed that it was well made. The sweetness level was perfect and not overly sweetened. The churros were fresh and warm. Delicious! I highly recommend this spot for anyone with a sweet tooth.

The place is kinda dingy, but the ladies working there are very nice. I ordered a churro s'more. Unfortunately, it was still super hot and melted some of the styrofoam container. The smote was still good, though,

Churro sundaes are now one of my favorite desserts! The crunch of the churro with the creaminess of the ice cream is near perfection. I remember trying a cinnamon bun Ben & Jerry's maybe ten years ago and loved it, but the Churro sundae is a while 'nother level!

Super tasty little spot, great variety considering churros is the main thing they do. and the prices really were VERY reasonable. It didn't take long for the food to come out and when it did, it came out very clearly fresh and super delicious. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood.

We came here 30 minutes before closing and thought we were going to be assholes for ordering food, but they were so kind and made us hot and fresh churros. Besides Disney and frozen churros this was the first fresh churro I've ever had and may I say it was immaculate! We got the strawberry, the chocolate, vanilla, and plain, and they were so flipping good! They're also huge for only $1.50! We got six churros for $11 after tip and tax! I don't know how this place wasn't busier because it's an excellent late night sweet treat.

If you're in the mood for a great churro, you should definitely consider stopping into Xurro! They have churros of many different flavors, all of which are cooked to perfection. They also have ice cream there, although I had a milkshake that was pretty runny. Despite this, I'll definitely stop in another time and give the shake another shot. Service was excellent and very fast!

Goof spot of you are looking for something a little different than ice cream. Nice that you can buy just one churro so you don't get more than you need. Inside is pretty clean though there are not many places to sit. Just order at the counter like you would a bakery. Was a little disappointed a flavor on the menu (caramel) they did not have at the time. If Im in the mood for a churro I would go back.

My husband and I shared the horchata churro milkshake and it was delicious! I wish it had more horchata flavor though - tasted more vanilla than anything. Good value for the amount as well! The churro was flavorful and did not taste bland like some churros can be. Can't wait to be back to try the rest of the menu!

I've tried about 3 locations for Xurro and all of them have been satisfactory. I love their churros, their funnel cake tastes amazing each time and I've also tried their milkshakes which are pretty good as well. Not always the fastest service, but everything is always fresh and i do wish the interior was more welcoming for dine-in.

This is our go to churro place because it is delicious. You must try the s'mores churros. The chocolate ice cream is delicious too. My friend tried the churro shake and loved it.

We got vanilla xurro and chocolate xurro. It was hot and delicious especially in a cold day. The place is small and has only 3 tables that seat 2 people only.

Churros here give the hot dog and soda at Costco a run for the best $1.50 deal around. Will definitely be back to try some of their other options.

Bang for your buck. I called several bakeries in the area since I needed them for a decent-sized party and other places were expensive for a single churro. I placed my order over the phone since the website would not let me order online. When I arrived, my order was not ready but it was not too long of a wait to get them filled. I tried their strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, and plain flavors. I wanted the cream cheese filling but they were completely out. At the party, they were a huge hit and saw people eating more than one which was great!

Really excited to try this place out but was disappointed. We ordered 2 Oreo churro milkshakes and it felt like we were drinking milk. The consistency of the "milkshake" was very thin and not thick. The churro that came with the milkshake was delicious.

Yum!! Xurro has fresh, made to order churros that you can dip, fill, or stick in ice cream. Single churros aren't expensive so this is the perfect sweet treat. I also love some of their bigger menu items like the churro milkshake and the s'mores churro. Highly recommend a stop if you're in the area!

Fresh, hot, made to order churros.. what's not to love?! They're definitely best when warm, so eat quick. I prefer the mini ones because somehow I felt less guilty about shoveling sugar into my body the way that I did. Their online order system is great as well, so if you're looking to stock an event, that's the way to go. I placed a large order for a company event last year and everything was delivered on time and still warm!!

My first time trying out Xurro was from the Pilsen location. I was driving around the Lakeview area and was driving on Lincoln Ave and spotted a brand new Xurro store! It's super clean and churros are made fresh to order! They offer mini plain churros, smoothies, milkshakes and other sorts of desserts. You can get a plain xurro or order it filled with strawberry, cheesecake, vanilla or chocolate filling. It's definitely an intimate size store and better for small groups like 4 people or smaller. Street parking can get hard to find in the area because it's in a happening block but I love their late night hours! If you grab a drink nearby or dinner you can walk on over to grab a xurro afterwards. Be on the look out for their flavor of the day! I went today and they had pineapple available!

I order 40 little xurros (4 orders) for a coworkers birthday on Grubhub with 12:30 delivery. I was informed by Grubhub at 12 that Xurro cancelled ordered. THANKS FOR THE ADVANCED NOTICE! I called and the woman I spoke with said there was no product for the order. Hello isn't that your business? Then she said they had to change or heat up the oil. I thought you opened at 10. Thank god that the location on Armitage knows how to fill an order. Sorry I couldn't give 0 stars

Second time here, everything is delicious the horchata milkshake is a must try, easy tap as payment, no need to touch anything other than your order.

Xurro is incredible. The churros are so good and authentic. The horchata milkshake is a must try. It tastes like a vanilla milkshake with a hint of cinnamon. I highly recommend!

Decided to go around 7 pm last night the service was great. Had to wait for a bit but it was worth it everything was made fresh. Perfect thing to eat in a cold chicago weather. The ice cream sandwich hit my craving spot! First time trying it and will try again but must warn it gets messy!

Awful - ordered a churro sandwich with caramel for $8. They were running low on the cinnamon/sugar coating obviously so the sandwich part wasn't sweet at all. And they forgot the caramel. Bummerrrr

Xurro is right at the corner, and after having some delicious food from a near Colombian restaurant, desert was in order! Xurro offers different flavor churros, funnel cake, churro cups and cones, pineapple lemonade. This place sets Xurro apart from typical 'Churro's spots. Besides these delicious treats, Xurro has the best spiced Mexican hot chocolate! Must try! We had the chai too, but the steamed milk overpowered the chai taste. They also have a nice little churro decor that makes for a perfect photo op!

Eh! If only I remembered to take a photo of my churro. Absolutely delicious. From the appearance to the texture. Was something that I definitely had to write a review about. If it wasn't for the churros being so delicious I probably have given five stars. But the service here was so incredibly bad. The woman who greeted me literally walked out from the back and just stared at me and didn't say a word as I stood there with my son. She literally made no conversation with me whatsoever and it almost felt like I was inconveniencing her to place an order. I highly recommend the churros but order ahead and try to avoid any interaction.

I'm a regular customer. today my churro came half size. The young man half way argues that they come this way always. This isn't the case I stop in usually twice a week. Please properly train your staff to make full size churros!

The first several times I went here, they made the churros fresh and they were awesome. The last couple of times they didn't, and there was barely any cinnamon on them. I just went in 5 minutes ago and asked for a churro made fresh and the woman said ok. She came from the back 30 seconds later with an old, lukewarm churro, with barely any cinnamon on it. Was going here steady for two weeks, I'll never go back again.

The churro shakes were pretty good; however, I was really disappointed with the customer service. We got there around closing time yesterday, and there was a worker (who I believe was the manager or supervisor at the time) who was pretty rude, and non-accommodating and overall not interested in helping us. Specifically, we wanted to know if we could get filling in our churros. When asking, she first ignored us, and after we repeated ourselves, she stomped and looked at us as if we were annoying her. This is disappointing because I actually really enjoyed the shake. I just wished we had more accommodating and nice service...

Yo, put on your shoes, grab your keys and head over to Xurro and get a perfectly fried foot long of dough now! Just got a peanut butter and vanilla custard filled churro. Some more about these magical fried sticks: evenly coated with cinnamon sugar, crunchy outside, soft interior, not oily or heavy, silky smooth filling. I don't know how authentic it is in the Churro universe but it's delicious. We live in the neighborhood, passed this place a dozen of times and was skeptical but if you're still reading, clearly I'm a fan. Just come and try it yourself.
