14 Halal-Friendly Dining Destinations Across Metro Detroit | Eater Detroit

"This halal-friendly Japanese menu has gained a reputation for not just classic sushi rolls and fried tempura, but also its signature baked rolls like the Lion King (with spicy tuna, crab stick, cucumber and fiery mayo and unagi sauces) and sharable hibachi grilled platters like its 6-ounce filet mignon plate." - Serena Maria Daniels

Google
First time here. Love the menu. Mini iPad and you can click any kind, and have it described to you with a picture. Really helpful for those of us who maybe don’t know what things are or how to order ☺️. The onion soup was the best I’ve ever had. Even the ginger was the best I’ve ever had. I have never eaten all of that and I could have eaten more. Lol. We had several of us and tried multiple kinds which was really fun. The waitress was great and provided good service. The food was wonderful. We will be returning here and we definitely recommend.

Google
Xushi Ko is AMAZING! The food is always fresh and it gets to the table fast. The servers are pleasant and patient. Love this place u gotta check them out.

Google
Ordered take out, after eating half the roll I asked my self why it tasted so off. Took and look at this is what I see. What a shame. We know service fell off but the food quality control on carry out is at an all time low!! Shame on the chefs. $22 for a sushi roll and it looks like this. The black part is avocado btw..

Google
Food is phenomenal both sushi and hibachi. Presentation is always great. Service is fast/slow depending on the day. I recommend ordering right away, sometimes the waiter/waitress can take sometime to take your order. The bathrooms cleanliness can be improved.

Google
Very disappointed in my food for the price and service, this was a lunch salmon portion for 14.00 and let me tell you about the manager, instead of her coming to talk to me first about my complaint, she sent over an African American woman waitress who was not my original waitress to tell me, that this was our lunch size portion, like Wow! So after 20 minutes she finally comes to tell me the same thing and said since I ate the soup she could discount the meal. So 14.00 for a big plate of rice and over cooked vegetables and my daughter has seafood allergies they put both of our appetizer on the same plate and I had seafood, she said why didn’t we tell the waitress, who food comes out on the same plate..WHEN JUST WHEN!!! I told her I was definitely leaving a review the service and server was horrible no refills on drinks or sorry can I add some fish she was more worried about me paying for the meal so Yup!! I paid full price. But, I definitely wanted people to know how me and my family was treated there. 60.00 total to be disrespected.

Google
I usually do take out here. I've had great food every single time. Sushi rolls are always fresh and favorable especially for the price. Better than a lot of other sushi places I've been to and has the best Spicy Garlic Edamame hands down!!!

Google
My sushi go-to! When I am in town, Xushi Ko is my go to place! I love the Lemon Wedge Roll for the kick of citrus. I wish that I had anything like the Banana Roll where I am from but that’s what keeps me coming back!

Google
“Top-tier sushi and stellar service!” The sushi is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared — every bite hits just right. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Easily one of the best sushi spots around!

Yelp
So many sushi options! The staff is super nice and super helpful! Ended up getting the sushi pizza and it was so absolutely amazing

Yelp
Food was amazing. Probably the best crab Rangoon I've ever had. Our service was great! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Not a fan of American sushi and this a solid example of that. Everything is cover heavy in sauce. Fish is thin, on purpose I guess to cut cost. Service is good. Water get refill and they have a lot of people working. If you like American style sushi then come here. If not then go somewhere else.

Yelp
No disrespect to the staff or the arrangements that in itself was excellent. No alcohol at this establishment which I notice right away that wasn't a big hit with tourists. The food prep look average I didn't bother to take pics for the simple reason that the food had no taste. I mean even today I am not able to tell you how the Katana roll tasted like. It's too high price which made it less enjoyable. But then again it was a Monday. That is all. Chief Start your day off with a smile forget yesterday .

Yelp
I stopped in to try the sushi pizza that's been getting a lot of coverage among my friends. When I went in, I was seated quickly. They have great customer service. There was a fair amount of seating available, and I was allowed to switch to the area I wanted to sit in which I appreciated. This restaurant is decorated nicely. I got my order pretty quickly. The sushi pizza is very tasty. I think they were a little heavy on the artificial crab. I think it has good flavor and a very crunchy crust. I would definitely order something different next time. I wanted to try it and once was enough.

Yelp
Came here a couple times and got the craving for it again. Arrived and despite being busy I was able to get a booth very quick. Tablet for the menu which is always helpful for visualizing items. I ordered a Hibachi Chicken dinner and wanted to try a roll. I liked that the Mellow Yellow had mango but was allergic to shrimp. I then learned you can request them to not add the shrimp. Great to know and very accommodating. While the place is busy it's still spacious as well. Might start making this a regular spot to visit.

Yelp
Xushi Ko, located close to the Ford campus of buildings in Dearborn, is a sushi restaurant that is definitely higher end than I anticipated. I wouldn't describe this place as "fast casual," but more of a proper sit down restaurant with nice booths and tablets for menus. My friend and I started out our meal with agedashi tofu. The ones at Xushi Ko are a lot larger than what I'm used to, with not a lot of the savory liquid to dip it in. The proportions here were off, so the tofu was relatively bland, but still yummy because you really can't go too wrong when it comes to tofu! Their menu is filled with more unique offerings when it comes to sushi. My friend and I came here namely for the "sushi pizza," an item that you don't even see listed on their lunch menu (only dinner), but that they can prepare for lunch if you ask for it. We had come here for lunch and were able to try it. The result? Absolutely scrumptious! The sushi pizza is ~$17 and you get a significant amount of food for that. It's a thin nori sheet layer (fried crispy/tempura-ed), a thin bed of sushi rice, then crab salat, avocado, and shrimp tempura finely chopped up on top with spicy mayo and eel sauce over all of it. It was a perfect balance of ingredients, nothing was too overpowering, and it was so fun to eat! The one downside is that there's no raw fish (salmon, tuna?) on this pizza and I would honestly pay a little bit more, say...$20?, to have some raw fish on this pizza as well! Speaking of unique offerings, I had also seen this avocado bomb on the menu that my friends who have been here before recommended us to try. The photo of it on the menu looked a bit overwhelming, but definitely intrigued us. Since we were already ordering the sushi pizza though, we decided against it, but I'd be open to trying the avocado bomb next time I come here. Instead, we went for another one of the more unique items on the menu - a roll called spicy tabboulie. It was a sushi roll (crab salad, tuna, etc.) with tabboulie and salsa (random) piled on top. It was a surprisingly fun mix of flavors and while I wouldn't necessarily order this one again, I'm glad I tried it. All in all, the food here is good! All the sushi ingredients we had tasted very fresh, the service was lovely, the ambiance was whatever (located in a strip mall/business based kind of area, while seeming a bit fancier on the inside, but still overall casual...so a bit confusing). I would definitely come here again as there is so much else on the menu that looked interesting that I would love to try at a later date!

Yelp
Came for lunch specifically to try their new "sushi pizza" and it did NOT disappoint. And for context, my favorite sushi is typically very simply prepared nigiri with good quality, fresh fish. So basically the opposite of this. However, the sushi pizza was genuinely delicious and I was impressed with the construction of it! The bottom layer of seaweed and sushi rice was crispy and held up the toppings well without getting floppy or soggy. Then it was piled with crab salad, chopped up shrimp tempura, roe, sauces, green onion, more tempura flakes. Not sure what else was in there but the ratio of ingredients was great. It was kind of like a shrimp tempura California roll, but in "pizza" form with some extra crisp. We also got the "spicy tabboulie" special roll, which had craw fish, avocado, shrimp, cucumber, fresh tuna, salsa(?), and of course tabboulie on top. I've never seen or tried anything like this before but it was yummy! Had a spicy kick to it as well. The tofu agedashi had the crispiest outside I've ever tried, with super soft and hot tofu inside. Ambiance is more no frills - located in a strip mall and nothing fancy. The booth seat I was in was a little ripped up. Service was great! Our waitress split the pizza for us on the plate, knowing we were sharing everything. Come here for a fun option in the area, or for some truly unique remixed sushi creations. I didn't actually see the sushi pizza on the lunch menu, but it is available all day ($17). Pricing was good for the amount of food, and parking on-site is convenient.

Yelp
always enjoyed their food, except 2 days ago, the roll tasted too salty like some one emptied all the salt they have in it, we threw the rolls out. I called, the lady who picked up was nice and apologized and said: one of the managers will contact you later, day 3 already no one has contacted me, so no help

Jamal B.

Yelp
This was not good.. My whole family usually loves this place but today was horrible. It was all very sloppy and just thrown together. The avocado spiral and way too much crab meat in it and the chicken fried rice was looking depressing. The chicken in it looked boiled and we had to add so much soy sauce into it for it to have some color. Overall this was not a good evening after this food. I do not recommend again.
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
The avocado spiral is a beautiful, tasty, work of art that would outweigh any cons for this restaurant, but I cannot think of any cons at this time! Try the spiral, it will not disappoint. I have been here many times for dine in and carry out, service has always been helpful and kind.

Yelp
Xushi does an excellent job with non-entertainment habatchi food. We went at lunch time. The place wasn't too busy so the service was very attentive. In general the service team was friendly and welcoming and professional. Not much interaction...Just to the point. We found the restaurant to be very clean and in good repair. The digital menu was a nice change of pace. The soup and salads came out quickly. The entrees were close behind. Nice for a quicker paced lunch. The onion soup was outstanding! It had a smooth and flavorful onion zip. A lot like you would get from a French onion soup without the cheese. The hot soup really warms you up on a cold day. The ginger salad was also very tasty. The lettuce was fresh and not in too big of pieces. The dressing was plentiful and crispy cold. The dressing had a nice mild ginger/carrot taste and was very think you stick to the lettuce. Possibly the best ginger salad dressing I've ever had. The steak habatchi was also excellent. The beef was perfectly cooked to my medium rare order. It didn't seem to have much Marinade taste but was very juicy. The white rice was cooked perfection. It was moist and sticky. Easy to pick with chop sticks. The onions and mushrooms were very tasty. Some soy taste...just not over powering. These items were cooked soft with a bit of crisp. The entree came with three small shrimp. The shrimp was seasoned with pepper to give it an extra special zip! Overall a very good experience. Perhaps a bit pricy but worth the try!

Yelp
This cute little gem was delicious! The avocado spiral was enough for me to come again. The avocado with the crab salad and spicy was so amazing and such a fun combo. The dragon roll and the hibatchi I had was also super good! The portions were decent and I was able to be seated for dinner very quickly. My only knock I would say on this restaurant is how expensive the menu is. The avocado spiral I thought was reasonable at $9 and the dragon roll was $12 but it had no shrimp in it like it normally does, and the hibatchi chicken was $21 but decent portions. My real disappointment was I wanted a California roll so bad (I crave one every time I get sushi) and it was $9 for a California! I have never paid more than $6 for a California roll because it is such a basic roll with minimal ingredients so I couldn't believe the price. Overall I had a good experience and all the food I had was delicious. I just think it's a little overpriced!
google avatar

Deshay R.

Yelp
Very good food especially the hibachi grill items I recommend they are reasonably priced, they have a lunch hour which is around 5-6 dollars less than dinner ends at 3 . They even have combo for 2 which is 28 dollars food is good as well !

Yelp
Terrible service. Years ago this place used to be so nice. Our server was rude and made us wait over 20 minutes just to order food. We were very displeased with a sushi roll that we ordered (still had to pay for it, they do not replace/refund items that you don't enjoy). And I'm waiting another 30 minutes so someone can take my bill and give me change. Do not eat here.

Yelp
Awesome place they have good lunch specials and great service by server Leah was great and very oriented this is my new place

Yelp
The food quality here for sushi is amazing. The prices are a bit higher for what it is but you won't be served disgusting food so to me it's worth it. The miso soup is spot on, one of my favorite spots for it. If you're a fan of sushi you know some places just don't serve good miso. The appetizers are great from the wings to the rolls. I've never been disappointed. The only reason I docked this spot is due to the time it takes to give you your food. I've been here on numerous occasions to dine in and even order out. Each time the wait is so long. So if you are very hungry or in a rush this is NOT a spot for you. I have walked out after getting drinks before because the wait is so long at times. The place is popular though so it's not like it's bad service. If time is not an issue go for this spot if it is there are other sushi spots that serve quicker around the area.

Fernando G.

Yelp
I really love sushi and so I stopped by couple times. And can I tell you the service is amazing, well at least for one person I asked for her name and it's Nesreen. She witerlly goated she's soooooo funny and sooo amazing , I can't say the same for the manager I once saw him yelling at a host/staff and you could see she was visibly shaking. He doesn't seem fit to be manager but that's just me

Anna G.

Yelp
This place was very good. I had the miso soup, cucumber salad, lunchbox and Bahama Sunrise (mocktail). Everything was so good it filled up my tummy, so flavorful.
google avatar

Irma B.

Yelp
I was real hesitant to try this place out because I judged it by the outside as I was driving by. It's located in the same plaza as Burlington Coat Factory, Dollar Tree, Target etc. I was impressed by the digital menus. When you are seated, they give you an iPad and an abundance of sushi options. Each menu item has a photo and description which is super helpful for a picky person like myself lol. The food was great. Better than most sushi I've had in the Downriver area. It was quite busy for a typical Friday evening. The ambiance was really nice. Definitely returning in the future.

Yelp
Fresh food, clean environment, and friendly service by staff. Overal we had a good time.

Yelp
I've been in the food industry for over 30 years. Xushiko has the freshest highest quality food of even the highest end restaurants I frequent. No matter what country or city I try sushi in, xushiko is consistently one of the best if not the best. Love that is right in my own backyard
google avatar

Herika E.

Yelp
Overall, nice restaurant inside but the food was not. Xushi Ko is located in a small strip center right next to Best Buy in Dearborn. Plenty of parking, nice staff, but the food was terrible. I called ahead to ensure they could accommodate Gluten-Free diet and they said yes. I originally ordered a California Roll along with the Chicken and Shrimp hibachi (Gluten-Free). The waiter came back to the table a few minutes later and notified me that the California Roll was NOT Gluten-Friendly because they add soy sauce to the Lobster - so, I cancelled the roll. By the time my dinner arrived I asked for Yum Yum Sauce (the standard sauce that comes with EVERY hibachi meal I've ever eaten) to my surprise, they did not carry it. I asked if there were any other sauces I could choose from and he waiter said the rest all have Gluten in them. I tried the hibachi and unfortunately, it had too much pepper in it and because there was no Yum Yum Sauce, the food was dry. Needless to say, I did not enjoy my meal and would not recommend to anyone who is Gluten intolerant. 2 - Stars because food was dry, peppery, and not good + they did not carry Gluten-Friendly options. The aesthetic inside was pretty clean but no hibachi grills to cook on, everything is made in the back. Sadly, I will not be coming back.

Yelp
Amazing sushi, def a highlight in the dearborn area. Tons of options and very fresh and delicious. I only have gotten carry out but haven't had a bad experience, good place to try if you're craving sushi.
google avatar

Marzia C.

Yelp
For the amount of money I spent here; I was pretty disappointed. The food was sub par. No flavor and it lacked salt. I honestly was excited to try the steak hibachi I got; very subpar. The sushi was pretty good though. You'll see in my photo that I ordered a ton of food. Probably won't be going back; and if I do just for the sushi.

Concetta B.

Yelp
This was my first time here and it did not disappoint. I wasn't sure what to get and Marc took great care of us. He was so professional and knowledgable about the menu and made wonderful recommendations. The pumpkin blossom roll, avocado spiral and 7-Up rolls are a must try!!! We will definitely be back! Thank you Marc for making our dining experience so enjoyable.
google avatar

Angela P.

Yelp
I only ordered take out but from what I saw in the restaurant the ambiance is very nice and low key. The servers are very helpful and friendly. I order the fire cracker roll and the sunday morning roll. They were both amazing! I would definitely eat here again. They have an extensive list of different types of rolls, classic and specialty. Love it here!!!
google avatar

Alexandra K.

Yelp
Wonderful food. Consistently appetizing. Service from staff is always bad. Please consider this when eating inside. Carry out is usually the best option if you do not want any conflicts. I've been coming for 8 years, and I always warn people. Still same effect and I still always go back for the food.

Yolanda J.

Yelp
I ordered a takeout the hibachi shrimp with vegetables. The food was outstanding. I think I'm going back today for seconds. The manager made me feel so welcome in this establishment. The customer service was above and beyond the manager. I forgot to get his name, but he had on some very nice glasses. If I was to ever open up a business, I would be looking for him to manage it.
google avatar

D H.

Yelp
The food was delicious, the service was slow, and the atmosphere needed an update. I arrived at 6:30 pm before the dinner rush. I believe this is why the management had to help with our service. We all have done it, that look around you do when you ask where the hell is my server? Had to wait on the water refill and had to ask for another Arnold Palmer. They used unsweetened tea. I requested sweet tea. I had to ask another server for my bill. I like sushi, so I gave this place a try. I now know I will stick to my favorite sushi spot in Ferndale, MI.

Yelp
Always good service portions and food. Recommend :). First time getting Tropical Coco - surprisingly awesome!

Yelp
(Visited 10/29/2019) In the area on business and I met up with a friend of mine for what I was told is some of the best sushi in the area. Let me tell you how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: In a huge wide-open plaza on the corner of Ford Road and Mercury Drive is this gem. There's plenty of parking available in its private lot. Once inside it's easy to admire the super modern, simplistic decor. There are black ceilings with long-hanging, single-bulb lights, reddish-brown tile floors and low walls to provide a very open floor plan feel. Not bad. There are floor to ceiling windows that wrap around the entire building as well. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but she was cool. She got us everything we needed and we didn't have to ask for much. I did hate using the iPads as menus, but she made me feel better about it. Lol. Food: I started with the signature Avocado Spiral which is one of the coolest dishes I've ever seen. It's avocado stuffed with lemons, scallions, a choice of salmon or tuna then topped with eel sauce, spicy mayo, crunch bits and sriracha. It was FANTASTIC. For my entree I chose the Katana roll and the Samurai roll. The Katana is made up of shrimp tempura, avocado and cucumber all topped with spicy tuna, crab mix, crunch bits, masago, scallions then drizzled with eel and sriracha sauce. It was very good and a great combination of ingredients. The Samurai was spicy crawfish, jalapeños, cream cheese and strawberries topped with spicy tuna, scallions then masago. This was a very interesting mixture. The savory and the sweet went together very well. I'd certainly be up to trying some of the MANY choices they have to offer here. Value: Sushi is never really cheap, but you get the good stuff here. The avocado spiral was $8.00, but was absolutely worth it. The Katana roll was $12.00 and Samurai roll was $11.00. That seems pretty on par for sushi and especially sushi that's this good. In conclusion, I'm thankful that someone did make this recommendation for me and you may see me here in the future!

Melissa E.

Yelp
This sushi place in my neighborhood is an OG, one of the first in Dearborn. The service is excellent, and the food consistently meets expectations. Having a tablet to order is convenient, and I appreciate the feature that allows you to tap on menu items to see photos it gives you a good idea of what to expect. There's room for improvement for parking, but overall, it's a great spot.

Kiana A.

Yelp
I'm totally disappointed with the last few times I've been here was hoping they get it together absolutely not either the rice to dry or over salted I'll be going back to Behianna

Vanessa Lynn V.

Yelp
Ordered take out at lunch time... was fast! And everyone was very friendly. Food was fantastic and pretty well priced for everything we ordered (hibachi, sushi, and apps). Will be returning.
google avatar

Mohamed S.

Yelp
This was my second favorite sushi restaurant in dearborn. But the quality has gone way down. The Sushi Tower used to be full of salmon and tuna per layer; now, it's hollowed out with rice and guess what the price is the same. Not to mention, I have yet to walk in here on the floor is not sticky.
google avatar

Ebenezer's Anni L.

Yelp
I will tell you that this review is based on one sushi roll that was take out, but I have found my local sushi place, just wish it was between my work and home instead between home and my grocery store. While the outside look might fool you, the quality of the product will convert you. I got the shrimp crunch roll - shrimp tempura, crab, avocado topped with crunch bits and unagi sauce. Normally comes with cucumber but had it made without those awful tasting things. Sweet not, spicy is perfect for an acid reflux suffer. I have never tasted a roll this delicious. I will admit I have only eaten sushi for 2 years, but EBS who got me to try sushi spoiled me by taking me to some of the best in SE Michigan. Look forward to enjoying it more. Since they keep your past orders under your phone number, all I have to do is order my regular. Might eat in to enjoy other menu items and enjoy a diet Coke.
google avatar

Harmony M.

Yelp
Expanded the business do so hope the quality stays the same. Bathroom no dryer or paper towels too dry hand's. Avacado spiral tuna on the light side. When a business expands @ time's the quantity and or the quality goes down. Only time will tell.
google avatar

Raannaa A.

Yelp
So delicious! The service was so kind and friendly. Our server gave us advice on what to order and was so kind when checking in on us to see if we like it. The food was soooo good. The sushi tower and avocado spiral were just so delicious. I wish we added some rice to the avocado spiral, but that's my personal preference. Also they are not skimpy on sauces or the portion sizes. Other than that, it was so good. And the prices are fair. Would definitely go back again!

Yelp
I very rarely venture outside of dearborn when I'm in the mood for sushi. Why? Well, we have a sushi gem right here! Xushi Ko delivers high quality sushi rolls that always hit the spot. They have a wonderful selection and we always leave full and happy with leftovers to spare. My kiddo agrees! They only reason they get 4 stars and not 5 is because I feel like the price point is a tad high.

Vivian W.

Yelp
Ordered The Eel avocado roll, but no actual eel meat there. I think the owner should rename it as eel skin avocado roll. The menu says the eel avocado roll is $6.5, but they charged us $11. I think they should update their price on the online menu if the price has updated. No hard line on this one, but wasn't happy about the quality of the food.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place forever now and I finally got to! I'm never in Dearborn but I was this time and got to try this place out. Smaller place than I imagined but good enough. How cool that the menu is on a tablet. I love it when it's like that. I feel like it's more sanitary also and they can try to give you as much pictures as they can on it. A must get is their spicy edamame. Delicious. I want to take the seasoning home. Yum. Also the avocado swirl? It's oddly refreshing. And who doesn't like stuffed stuff? My sister really enjoyed her chirashi and it was a good price with how much she got. Service was decent. Nothing bad happened nor was it exciting. Too bad I got full fast. But nothing too exciting about this place but it is good.

Yelp
So starting off first, everyone wearing a mask inside.. so for those who think COVID is carried by bad breath and nose hairs, you don't have to worry about that here . The receptionist/ and manager were very helpful and receptive!! I didn't know what a " eel popcorn" was and neither did the manager!! She gladly walked back to the kitchen to find out for the both of us.. I ordered yakisoba( with steak) Korean wings, Hero roll, and a volcano roll.... I like to try a few things, so I can get a taste/feel of what the food is like. For example if there better for rice, or sushi, or grilling etc. My food is being cooked as I write this, I will update when my food is done. Update I got my food and made it home..... food looks delicious

Yelp
Stopped by here with a friend on Saturday. I was craving sushi and this definitely hit the spot. I will definitely be back. Everything tasted fresh and the order came out fast. I don't really frequent Dearborn much but I just might because of this place!

Yelp
I was recommended to come here so I met some of my friends here for sushi on a Wednesday night. We were immediately seated, which was nice. Very nice atmosphere. Menu was on a tablet so that was cool. Got to see pictures and a list of ingredients with each menu item. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful when choosing items based off what I wanted. With our entrees came a choice of ginger salad or soup with tofu and seaweed in it. I chose the soup. Yummy! We also ordered edamame as an appetizer which took a while to come out. Then when we got it, half of them were cold. I didn't understand that. We waited the normal time for our sushi seeing as its made to order. Both of my dishes I ordered were delightful. I enjoyed every bite. I seriously hate how expensive sushi is, but its definitely good to treat myself to it every now and again. In addition to the cold edamame, I also removed a star because on my friends hibachi plate, she only had a little bit of chicken on it. Like if she's paying this much for her meal, she should've definitely had a bit more protein on her plate.
google avatar

Kai L.

Yelp
First time being here and I must say, it was a good first impression. The food was well seasoned and full of flavor. I liked the fact that they have their menus on tablets; just wish we could've placed our order from the tablet.( that would've been really cool!) Tip: There are two different types of soy sauces on the table: one with low sodium and the other with high, (the labels are small) so be careful. Pick the one with low sodium, you'll thank me later! Overall, great experience, great food, & great customer service. I shall return.

Yelp
Although it's a little more pricey, it's definitely one of the best sushi places around. The sushi always tastes fresh and their deep-fried rolls are always crispy. Their Avocado roll is a signature dish there, and I only go here when I'm craving that specific dish (because it ~is unique). UPDATE: $1 for Eel sauce and Spicey Mayo is OUTRAGEOUS. Usually, places will charge me 50 cents for these. Moreover, after being back during COVID-19, I have found their prices to have gotten even more expensive, yet their quality decreased. You're MUCH better off taking your hard earned money to Oyaki Sushi or even Mango's Cafe for sushi, trust me!

Yelp
Amazing sushi spot! I was a bit skeptical of sushi with a strawberry in it but OMG!!!! Soooooo amazing! The pic I posted is the Tropical Coco roll and I HIGHLY recommend. The miso soup is ehhhhh so save room for rolls!!!!
