Dine Like SW Steakhouse’s Pastry Chef in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"I like Yojie Shabu Shabu — they offer three different styles of broth to cook your choice of protein in; the sukiyaki is a sweet broth that, once you cook your meat, you dip into a pasteurized egg, and it is delicious. The staff are knowledgeable about the food they serve and very attentive." - Susan Stapleton

Their tonkotsu broth was good, but the authentic japanese broth they had just wasn’t it for me. The meats were all really good selections, but I learned that day that I do not ever want to eat cow throat ever again. Karaage was soooo good, wish it had came with like spicy mayo or something. I also ended up getting a stomachache which I’m not sure if it was eating too much or eating something bad.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I really wanted to highlight our server Kat (Cat?). She was attentive but not overbearing, accommodating, super helpful and knowledgeable, and on top of that had a great attitude and pleasant personality without seeming fake! Please be kind to her when you go! The whole staff worked well together actually, but this is about Kat! Food was great, the music made me feel like I was in Heated Rivalry but maybe that depends on who was on Aux. This has been my second time in, my first time I sadly only gave myself 1 hour, so this time after 3 hours we developed a great strategy for next time and how to optimize our food consumption (with help from Kat).

Everything about this place is amazing they have a lot of soups to choose from and you don't have to share your soup which I really like. The service is amazing and it seems like they care a lot about cleanliness. One of the cleanest restaurants ive ever been too.

Google
Been there countless times since its opening day. Food and service have been consistent; however, they really need to fix the fruit fly infestation in the restaurant. When we are there spending $70-100 for two, the last thing we want is fruit flies sitting on our sauces and flying over our faces. I thought it was a seasonal problem during summer, but the problem lingers even during winter.

This is always my go to spot for hot pot whenever I’m in town. I love coming here with friends. There’s so much variety that everyone can find something they like. The all you can eat is a good deal, and the guy who always serves us is super friendly and attentive. It’s a great place to bring friends or family for a relaxed night of eating, talking, and enjoying good food. They never rush you out, which makes it even better. Always a solid choice for a fun, satisfying meal.

Google
The shabu shabu is AYCE and it is worth it! It includes appetizers and dessert. We were two of us and including tips it set us back ~$130 w/o alcohol. You get to chose from about 6 broths. The soups are heated on induction stoves and they heat up.pretty quick. Service is great! Seems like there were only 2 servers on a Wednesday night. There weren't many patrons and they handled the few with ease. The serve the food pretty creatively. I really liked the way they served the shrimp paste. The seafood seemed really fresh as opposed to the meats which are obviously frozen. If you are craving shabu shabu this place will not disappoint.

Google
Really neat spot. You cook your own soup after choosing ingredients. I’m almost positive that I did it incorrectly. I arrived at the busiest time so I had to wait a bit for my food. Eating it was very pleasant. I would recommend taking advantage of the sauce and seasonings. I’d eat here again after doing a bit of research. Definitely go with a group and make a reservation.

Google
The service here was fantastic, as well as the food. I had been to hot pot but never an all you can eat. I was intimidated a bit by the choices on the menu, but the manager and service staff were so welcoming. They had no problem explaining how to order and different menu items. I will absolutely be returning and I will be sure to bring friends! Also great to know they are apart of the same group as Y noodle! That was where I was headed when I strolled past Y shabu shabu and I am so glad I did!

Yelp
Great place for shabu shabu/hot pot in Providence. The soup bases are yummy and the staff is nice.

Yelp
Food: I went to eat here for the first time and we got 2 different broths. The tonkotsu (which was a nice overall taste that didn't overpower) and the sukiyaki (which was good but a bit on the sweeter side). We got a bunch of sides. It's all you can eat so we literally ordered almost half the menu lol everything was fresh. The only noodle that wasn't for me was the yam noodle. It was an interesting texture. There is also a sauce station where you can mix up your own science experiment of a sauce with whatever they have available. Also, We got the matcha ice cream at the end. It was a nice palette cleanser. You have to come really hungry to get your moneys worth but overall the food was good! Service: The service was great. They were really attentive and helpful. Super nice too! Ambiance: It's a good sized space inside. Lots of tables. We had a corner table by the front that has a window ledge next to it. So everytime my friend needed to get up, she would carefully have to squeeze around the ledge and when she didn't, there goes her ribs . All the other seatings didn't seem to have that problem, but ours, so just pick any seating but that one. Also, there seem to only be street parking.

Yelp
One of my go-to spots for hot pot in the area. I like how they have updated their menu so soft drinks are included in the AYCE menu as well as the option to have two broths for your individual pot. There are a lot of non and vegetarian options as well. I recommend the sukiyaki + tonkotsku broth combination. As always, the staff is super friendly and the music they play is always a vibe. They also provided ice cream or a speciality dessert at the end. Perfect to visit on a chilly Winter night.

Yelp
Food/Drinks: My first time trying hot pot, and it didn't disappoint! The endless apps, meats, veggies, and noodles were amazing. I loved the sauce station it was such a fun touch. The food was the star, and for $45 per person, it's a big bang-for-your-buck deal. The only downside was the limited alcoholic drink options either strong but not tasty, or tasty but weak. Still, 10/10 overall, and I'll definitely be back! Location: The location is charming with a cozy, low-light vibe great for a date, family outing, or night with friends. It's casual yet spacious and not too loud. Parking is easy to find on the surrounding streets, even without a dedicated lot. Perfect spot for any occasion! Service: The service was amazing! I wish I had caught her name. She took our orders and brought everything we needed. What I really appreciated was how kind she was when my friend asked to take some of the chicken from the unlimited appetizers left on our table to avoid wasting it, she gave her a box. She was incredibly thoughtful and made the experience even better! 10000x recommend

Yelp
This place is AMAZING!! The CONCEPT is fantastic! And unlike a buffet where food is prepared way in advance of you dining everything was made to order! Hot pot is a fun experience to have & this was the first for my brother & I. We loved it. The food was delicious & fresh. Our drinks were great (lychee martini for me please!). Our server was helpful, friendly, & attentive. And the price is also a steal for all that you get w this offering (Kobe beef anyone?!). Highly recommend! Total treasure! Best kept secret on the restaurant scene.

Yelp
This ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT hotpot is such a GEM! You can choose from different both flavors, seafood, meats, vegetables, noodles, appetizers, and ice-cream. What a steal! There's even was a sauce table where you'll see different types of oils, dressing, and garnishes to add to your soup or appetizers as well as steam white rice which was a nice addition. Service was also great, our sever was so kind and someone always came by and asked how everything was going which I appreciated. This whole place has a nice vibe, I love the music, decor, and the bar area even has a hotpot warmer if you just wanna go alone. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!!

Yelp
Rating: 4.0 3rd time coming to this place and its time to review the place. Y shabu shabu is an Asian restaurant based on Japanese dish shabu shabu. Based on the name my assumption is that it's a sister restaurant from Y noodle as its across the street. Although it's based on shabu shabu it's more of an americanized hot pot place. The place is located in providence and is large establishment with many seatings and customizable ingredients for sauces and bar in the center. It's an all you can eat place with either vegetarian or meat options. You pick your broth and you order what you want including variety of meat, vegetables, seafoods, noodles and appetizers. This time we ordered to tonkotsu broth and creamy vegetable broth with assortment of food including Japanese pancake, chicken karaage, angus beef, americanized kobe beef, lamb, pork toro, bok choy, eggs, mushroom mix, shrimps, ramen noodles, glass noodles, and tofu. Appetizers Japanese pancake and chicken karaage were okay. I was not a huge fan of spice that they put on karaage. Meats were good but pork toro was too fatty and lamb did have some gamey flavor. Everything else was pretty average for the most part. One highlight was making your own sauce. It may be daunting for new people but if you know what you want this place have good selections. My personal go to is soy garlic mixed with peanut sauce with some garlic, scallions and cilantros with hint of sesame oil and oyster sauce. They also have rice and this time they also had some pork dish on the side which was decent. For those who know how to properly hot pot may know this but my tip for how to eat hot pot properly is to cook all the ingredients on hot pot and eat first then you use the broth that you have at the end to finish the dish with either noodles or rice. Personally I like to cook all the meat and vegetables to get the flavors into the broth. Then you add eggs, scallions, garlic, choice of seasoning like miso and soy garlic sauce to give bit of salty flavor and once egg is cooked you put some rice in to make a porridge. The porridge came out very good but I was already pretty full at this point. At the end they do also offer desert with choice of ice cream or crape cake. The deserts are okay but it's nice option to finish if you like sweets. Service is generally good but can be difficult to catch a waiter if the place is busy. Overall the place is good and very comparable to other hot pot places around. The downside is that it is on the pricy side, meat options are limited and that it can be very confusing to people who does not know hot pot well and may not have the best experience unless you have some prior knowledge.

Yelp
cozy and warm~ there wasn't too many people inside surprisingly, but this was exactly what I needed today~ Prices went up recently, but it was such a filling experiment with lots of selection in the sauce station~ each person of given their individual pot which was great! I'm going to try all their veggies next time~

Yelp
We found this place after our go-to hot pot place was closed for renovation. First time we were here, we really enjoyed the meal but found the food server standoffish. Maybe she was having a bad day. Came back about 10 days later and the same server was much friendlier. We really liked that you have your own cooking pot. The meat quality was good, as well as the sides. We will be back!

Yelp
I've always had a great meal at Y Shabu Shabu, and end up leaving very full. To start off, we got okonomiyaki and karaage as appetizers. For my broth, I always get tonkatsu because I prefer to dip my meat into a spicier sauce, so I want to balance the two out. We always get the first five beef's on the meat section, which are great. I sometimes get the szechuan beef as well, though it can be chewier than the other ones. I also like to get a healthy serving of vegetables, as well as fish balls/cakes and udon. Save room for ice cream too, since their matcha ice cream is delicious, though I opted for their tiramisu this time.

Yelp
Y Shabu Shabu is an All You Can Eat hot pot restaurant. I made a reservation for six people for 7:30pm on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. It's a little dark inside but a good atmosphere for eating. Service was quick and we were visited frequently for fill ups. The fried appetizers were good but I wouldn't get as much next time. The top round was delicious and everyone was a big fan. I love how they have a wide variety of vegetables so you don't get bored. If you want to drink, they have a huge menu of beer, sake, cocktails, and more. I really liked the Pineapple Sake with the pulp! They have a few ice cream flavors and I chose matcha. It tastes very authentic and very good! Overall, I would come back!

Heather C.

Yelp
The food was fresh and generous. We especially liked the mushroom broth and the beef toro. The service was friendly and helpful. The ambiance was great- relaxed but elegant. We'll definitely be returning!

Yelp
Every time I come visit, ViVi takes such good care of us!! My third time here now and I'll continue to come back. Vivi is very accommodating, greets you quickly upon arrival, and quick to make sure your table is cleared off for extra elbow space to dig into your hot pot goodness! Ambiance is low lighting, perfect for a date. They have good jams too, I've added some to my playlist lol. Very clean inside and restrooms are kept well too. The menu has a good variety of meats, seafood, noodles, veggies and broth. Herbal tea is the ish and they have Thai iced tea too. Pistachio ice cream is my fave, tastes better than the norm in grocery stores. Sauce station is legit and they have rice as well. My fave repeat items: spicy Szechuan broth, udon noods, quail eggs, PUMPKIN (a must!!), Kobe beef, salad app, spring roll app, watercress, corn, tofu, and mixed mushrooms. Here's my secret sauce recipe I ALWAYS mix up when I come; I call this one "Soukie's Secret Sauce": 1 spoon garlic, 2 spoon bean curd, 2 spoon sesame sauce, mad green onions, mad cilantro, 2 spoons sugar, 5 swirls sesame oil, fill bowl w/soy sauce... I promise you won't regret it.
google avatar

Mike F.

Yelp
This place is terrific! The all you can eat menu includes dessert and also soda and Thai Ice teas are included!! Having your own hot pot to cook with is key to the enjoyable experience. I know the 46$ seems steep but the options are many with your choice of 2 broths. There are many broths to choose from so make sure you try 2. The service seems like it can get overwhelmed - partly because many people have questions and the ordering is a lot at the beginning. However the servers are really nice - great conversation. - and create a fun vibe. The menu is QR code only so this could be an annoyance but when u get the hang of it the ordering flows. The beef options are so good and the veggies are many- which could make ordering difficult because of the want to order everything. The one thing is that it gets hot in the restaurant because all the soups giving off steam. Overall I would definitely come again and enjoy the fun food and great vibes.

Yelp
I love trying different hot pot places because they're familiar yet different. Came up to Providence to have dinner with friends. Our waitress was great and helpful. Loved the vibe of the place and they had the fanciest looking sauce bar to date. What made this place special? Japanese curry broth! I loved it so much I didn't even bother making a sauce.

Yelp
The Food is amazing, if you know how to do hot pot and you want some endless appetizers on top of your endless hoy pot this is the place to go! While the price was a bit expensive for my own liking and service was a struggle, having to constantly ask for our own water jug to be refilled (each table was given a water "bottle" jug that was meant to share with the whole table). Additionally it was kinda hard to get more ingredients for our hot pot and appetizers. A recommendation if this review is ever seen is getting little signs for the tables to say "come back" or "refill" and the other side of the little table sign would be like "eating" or "enjoying the Shabu" for something fun and easier to see when others need assistance at tables. Besides all that, the design and setup of the place was great, getting sauces was very convenient as it was right up front and the addition of rice was nice as I don't often see that at general hot pot places.

Yelp
Y Shabu Shabu is an all you can eat hotpot restaurant. My husband and I had a really great time here and it was our first time. There is a lot of open space and tables and bar seating. The server came to our table and informed us that we would choose a broth and then choose if we want to do premium ($45.99) or vegetarian ($41.99) choices. He also informed us that there is an additional charge if you leave a substantial amount of food and waste it. We chose the premium option to have more choices. There are appetizers, meat, seafood, vegetables, and noodles to choose from. We selected the tonkotsu broth and started with the okonomiyaki and the shumai. The okonomiyaki was so delicious and flakes were hot. The shumai was fried and took a little time to come out. They were smaller than the typical shumai, but tasted good. All the meat, seafood, vegetables, and noodles were very fresh and tasted amazing with the tonkotsu broth. We ended the meal with ice cream. I had a scoop of the matcha and strawberry. This was high quality ice cream. The matcha definitely had the matcha taste and there were bits of strawberry in that ice cream. There is also a sauce bar where you can make your own sauces. There are recommendations posted to create your own sauce depending on the broth you choose. The service was great. They came by to see if we wanted anything else and took away empty dishes. Though it is a bit pricy, I highly recommend coming here.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite date night spots! Hot Pot is a dining experience, which helps elevate the fun of a date night. Choose from a vast menu of items to create your perfect meal, and the entire prix fixe menu is all you can eat! We love the traditional Shabu broth, extensive sauce bar, variety of homemade appetizers and desserts, and fresh vegetables and meat. The servers are always helpful and prompt, and reservations are available but not necessary. Beer and wine is available, as well as Japanese sodas. Street parking only, but it's not a long walk. A must try!

Jordan B.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely excellent. You can cook all of your food to your liking. It is always hot and the portions are just right. This will become my favorite restaurant in Providence. The staff is absolutely amazing. Always a great music taste last time I went Bad Bunny's new album was playing just what I wanna hear while eating my favorite meal.

Yelp
Best Korean BBQ & hot pot around . Hands down! Friendly staff, beautiful place with ambiance and the food is excellent! The owner is very friendly and helpful along with the rest of the staff. We are still here enjoying ourselves and eating and we highly recommen!!! Great job and keep it up = )

Yelp
Loved the food, not much separating this from other hot pot spots except you get your own pot. Wonderful company makes it a solid 4, mayo chicken bone in wings were a let down, no idea why I ordered them but hey nothing ventured.... Service was quick and attentive, mood of the place vibes with the new look of the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Tried this hot pot place for lunch - all you can eat. The space is great, a lot of options for sauces, however the quality of food and service was lacking. The seafood was the biggest disappointment, when ordering the crabmeat/claw (pictured) came out frozen solid and resembled Styrofoam..I've never seen anything like it. The mussels and squid tasted very fishy. The free appetizers I tried crab Rangoon and the shumi was not appetizing what so ever. The spicy broth was very good, and the meat quality seemed similar to others I've tried but not the best, however edible. Service was strange - she hovered while giving the check and while giving a tip. I won't be back.

Yelp
One of the best hot pot experiences in New England! All you can eat hot pot is getting rarer lately and it's nice to have a place to pig out at. The restaurant itself is comfortable and modern, with a great playlist to boot. The sauce bar has at least 15 different ingredients, as well as rice. The hot pot options are vast- 6 different broths, unlimited appetizers and over 50 choices of meat, seafood, carbs and vegetables. All of the ingredients were fresh, and portions were smaller to reduce waste but its AYCE so that doesn't matter much. The appetizers were a nice touch but there wasn't anything that was impressive. The matcha ice cream they have is delicious and the perfect end to the meal. Our server was kind and helpful but she had quite a few tables so we'd have to flag down someone else several times to order more.

Yelp
All you can eat apps and Shabu shabu. The make your own dipping sauce bar is beyond compare. Good broths and selection of dippables. Friendly staff.
google avatar

Leona C.

Yelp
Best shabu shabu restaurant I've had in a long time! I love how they give individual pots per person. The selections are great and it's all you can eat! I was also happy to see that the price includes appetizers as well. I resisted getting noodles so that I can get the best deal with the seafood, meat and veggies! The service was super nice and friendly. It was also one of the cleanest shabu shabu restaurants I've ever been to. I will 100% be coming back soon.
google avatar

Efren S.

Yelp
Definitely worth the money and food is delicious. You can park in the lot across the street that is shared with the gym next door. Be prepared to eat as it is unlimited. I walk out of there with a food baby all the time.

Yelp
Foods are bad as service l. It's a never go place for hotpot. Never recommended anyone to come here.
google avatar

Chan P.

Yelp
I love this place. A bit pricey but worth it. It is a buffet! Definitely a treat. I love the tonkatsu broth - get your dipping sauce right. Gotta finish with the matcha ice cream. Super rich and decadent.. (pls keep it strong, last time I went it was more milky) yum noms
google avatar

Charlotte J.

Yelp
The food was great. Authentic Chinese hotpot the price was fair we paid $130 for 2 person buffet and a glass of Sapporo beer.
google avatar

Steve A.

Yelp
I wanted to update my review to add that since going here for the soft opening, they have added the items I mentioned were missing. That coupled with the service really makes it a top notch place for hot pot and a tough one to beat regionally.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite "comfort food" spots in Providence and a place we love bringing people with no experience to try with us for the first time. The price point is steep, but we justify it by the fact that it's AYCE and includes AYCE appetizers and desserts as well - plus the "experience" for our guests. The place has a very open layout and looks cool. The mushroom broth is my favorite but we have tried several and enjoyed them. The sauce bar is usually stocked well and I love the opportunity to continue perfecting my sauces the more we visit - may be overwhelming to people without experience (we've helped guide some folks in the past and there are some recipes on the wall to try for beginners). They usually have some sort of rotating snack and steamed rice available at the ends of the bar. Service is not as frequent as you would expect and the ingredient orders are sometimes messed up (some random things we didn't order show up and they miss some things we did request). It's not much of a problem for us since we do eat everything - may be difficult if you have any sort of restrictions. They were offering table side hand pulled noodles this last visit and the flavor and texture was amazing - will continue to order them when available. Don't forget to try the Korean fried chicken appetizer and their matcha layer cake and matcha ice cream for dessert.

Yelp
After being here a few times , my opinion remains relatively the same , but am adjusting for overall cost . This may be pricey for some , especially for those who want the vegetarian option only. Keep in mind that meat prices are on the rise in recent months . So I can see the price point. Still remains a good AYCE option WITHIN the Providence area . People can say go to other AYCE places but the better options would obviously be more towards the Boston/Quincey area . The trip upwards isn't for everyone.
google avatar

Stephanie L.

Yelp
The meat quality is excellent compared to a lot of other AYCE Shabu Shabu places. There was also a big range of condiments for you to create your own sauce. In terms of the place itself, it has a great atmosphere. To top it off, the staff were the nicest and very pleasant to talk to.

Yelp
Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Water 5/5 *surcharge for leftover food * *3.5% charge if using card * *All gender restroom * Location was easy to find, parking is shared with planet fitness and other businesses in the area. We were greeted as we entered. Menu on the left table. It has an industrial vibe. Each person has their own pot and soup. Big bottle water for the table. We ordered chicken wings, chicken karaage, Japanese pancake, fruit spring rolls. Everything was great except the karaage, it seemed like it was refried and they gave us too many for one order (fillers). We ordered tonkatsu and Szechuan pepper broth, both were rich in flavor and met our expectations. I won't bore you with meat and vegi, it's self explanatory. The sauce table were well put together, it was spread apart and organized. Best sauce displayed I've seen! The white rice is also on the sauce table. Service was good, even with only one waitress. Soup was refilled or topped off when it was low. Waitress was attentive. It's hot pot with appetizers, I won't bore you with details. We had a good time and will come back. It's pricey but equates to how much we would've spent at Lamai. The only thing we didn't like was the surcharge for using your card and the strict "eat all your food" or get charge extra. We do recommend, but beware of the extra charges that may incur as noted above.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Got seated quickly and the quality of the meat and vegetables were great! The restaurant had a very casual but intimate vibe.

Yelp
It was my first time here and I'm so happy to have found a local hotpot spot since I am new to this area. Love the interior. I did not even know that it was an all you can eat, which I loved! I ordered the sukiyaki broth and my boyfriend had the Japanese curry. Both were really good, but we both agreed the sukiyaki broth was way better. The beef toro was really good. I tried the Tom Yum crab claw, which I never heard of and that was so good. Definitely will order that every time I go here. I also loved the glass noodle. We ordered three bowls of it. Lol. I loved how there is a sauce station with a lot of options to create you own customized sauce. We ended with the green tea cake & green tea ice cream. The best part was our server Vivi. She was the only server running the tables, but never missed a beat.. She's super friendly and is good at her job. We will be requesting her next time we go here when we come back with more family & friends.

Yelp
One of the best Hot Pot restaurants I have eaten at! When you first walk in the aroma smells so good it makes you excited to eat there! The hot pot broth is delicious, we tried all three and they all were good. My favorite was the tomato based broth. We ordered a lot of meat, lobster balls, and veggies. The meat we tried was beef taro, pork loin, chicken and the beef. The beef taro and pork loin was my favorite. We also ordered chicken wings, and they have a sauce bar where you can make your own sauces to dip the chicken in. They also have a sauce bar where you can spice up your broth too! That was my favorite part, putting together different flavors. I love hot pot because I like cooking my own food and you get to mix so many different flavors, meat, seafood, veggies and noodles you want. You can really make any dish your own! I can't wait to go back and order more!! I would highly recommend this restaurant. And if you are too nervous to try hot pot, don't be! The staff are really nice and helpful!

Yelp
Excellent new hot pot spot in Providence. The restaurant was popping on a weekend. Got the tonkotsu and tomato broth. The tonkotsu was quite flavorful, esp after all the ingredients are added. It can be bit salty as well depending on what's added. The tomato broth was also fresh and flavorful. It's 45$ per person, bit expensive with taxes and tip but good experience overall.

Yelp
This was our first time at Y Shabu Shabu. We went for a night after Valentine's Day dinner for something different. I chose the Szechuan broth and my wife had the Sukiyaki. We both enjoyed their respective flavors. We chose a variety of appetizers, meats, seafoods and we both chose udon noodles. Being the more adventurous diner, I made sure to try things I've never had before. All items were good on their own and I often forgot to use the sauce that I concocted. I finished up with the matcha ice cream which was quite good. The place was not too busy and staff was quite attentive, especially Vivi who greeted us and explained how things worked. They checked on us often to make sure things were ok as well as if we would like anything else. We will most likely return to try additional items!

Yelp
Fondue on steroids. A great place but go with someone who is familiar with the steps. Easy to learn and enjoy the food.

Yelp
Are you the type of person that sees AYCE and eat until you're clutching your belly in pain? This is the hot pot place for you! Providence finally has more competition in the hot pot scene, and it's my favorite one in town. They have plenty of high quality meat options and most of your classic hot pot veggies. In fact, everything here tastes high quality. They have the best broth in town and a nice variety of appetizers that is also included in the AYCE. I was pleasantly surprised to see okonomiyaki on the menu. The service is great and they are very friendly. The restaurant is extremely clean with a more modern/upscale appearance than other places in town. The cons are seafood options are lacking compared to traditional hot pot places. There is no fish. Mussels are on the menu, but not available. They have baby clams as a substitute. There are many fish ball options, but you only get 2 at a time of each kind you order. While you do have individual pots, in some ways, this can be a con. In the setting of a large group, it can be a little disorganized since you place one order and all the food is brought out together on large plates. You'll have to place orders more frequently, especially with the 2 fish balls I mentioned. The price is a bit higher than your typical hot pot experience. However, they do provide the only AYCE hot pot experience in town, which helps avoid the long drive to Boston, so this is a little more understandable. Overall, this is an excellent option to satisfy your hot pot cravings. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. However, I would recommend coming in smaller groups.

Yelp
Went twice, i love the vibe! Our host was very nice and caring as well as the lady! I believe she's the owner. Food was superb. I love the variety. Definitely you can get your buck's worth or maybe even more.

Yelp
All you can eat. Cant go wrong with that. And finally a local spot. Only thing that could suck is if its busy its hard to find parking because theres just so much going on in the area...Gym, beer hall, police station. Staff was great and so friendly. They have single serving hotpot seating at the bar counters and then at the tables each guest gets their own burner station with their own hotpot to cook in. The menu selection for broth was interesting with a few diff styles to choose from. I thought the meat selection could have had more to choose from but was happy with what they currently had. The appetizers was cool and ice cream also was available in three diff flavors but I was already way too full for dessert. Go give them a try!

Yelp
We came from Vegas visiting and came upon this AYCE hotpot. I thought the reviews was nice so lets give it a try. We were the only customers at the time and gave it a 2 stars. Foods was ok the sauce selection was nothing special have to create you own, limited. The service was the worst waitress was not friendly, not even hello or "welcome". Anyways.. I'm not giving this review not to be mean, but I have to be honest "worst hot-pot".

Yelp
The food is decent but service is lacking. We had a big party but the food they brought out enough for only a couple of people. We had to ask many times for refill. I don't think the server was happy that we asked to refill several times.

Yelp
This is the best hotpot place I have ever been to! Sustainable, friendly, clean, delicious, and a feel of home. This is an all you can eat hotpot place where you get your own serving of broth and you are charged for every dish that went to waste. I really like how sustainable Y Shabu Shabu is with this policy. Their food is also delicious and you are allowed so much freedom to make your own sauces as well. In addition, the service is very personalized and the cleanliness of the restaurant was great!

Yelp
My wife & I couldn't say enough of this place. Every decision we made here was absolutely delish! The Szechuan Sauce/broth was my favorite because it is spicy but so many good choices. My wife is vegan and she loved the options. You can't go wrong here. It is definitely worth a date night and an empty stomach!

Yelp
Ordered 1 round of apps, 1 round of 3 types of meats and veggies only to find roaches and other bugs in my soup as I was eating. Asked for the bill and informed the server. Server apologized and said it's because of the way the chefs prep the veggies and will inform them. Did not discount us but instead gave a $5 coupon for next time.
