Ya Habibi

I had one of the best meals of my life from Ya Habibi, and I’m still thinking about it today. I ordered the lamb gyro, and let me tell you—unbelievable. The meat was tender and flavorful, but what really took it over the top was the tzatziki, garlic sauce and spicy sauce combo. Absolute perfection. Every bite had that perfect balance of savory, creamy, and just the right amount of heat. The owner? An absolute gem. Super friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the food. You can tell he puts heart and soul into every dish, and it shows. If you’re in Portland and craving Greek food—Ya Habibi is a must. I’m already planning my next visit.

The shawarma had much flavor and I’m glad it wasn’t expensive, every Mediterranean restaurant is too expensive now, but not here. Willy the owner is such a nice, respectful and is working very hard to open his own Restaurant, he’s a Christian with a dream and I support it.

I went here with my cousins a few days ago and the service was really fast. The man who served us was also very kind and the food was so delicious!

What a wonderful place to eat! I got chicken and beef kebab and it was amazing. I don’t remember the last time I had such a good meal like this. The owner was very friendly too. I definitely recommend this place and I will visit again ☺️

10/10 experience. I got the shawerma plate. Lamb and beef mix. And it was delicious. The garlic sauce and the hummus were amazing. And the pita bread seals the deal. What's even better

Food was bad. Lettuce on the Gyro was old and red with almost no meat. Hummus was liquid. Never again.

We went here last night as a last minute stop and were not disappointed! Great service, great music and best of all great gyros! We had the lamb gyro and fries and both were very generous portions! The wait wasn’t long and the price was very reasonable as well. We will be back!

Great new Mediterranean food truck on 82nd and definitely recommend! Wally and his wife make tasty food and their new cart is worth checking out. I had the Kofta Plate with rice & salad. All delicious and my wife had the chicken shawarma wrap. She said 'it's the best shawarma in Portland' and we've had many! Give this new cart a try! Great food and service!

Ordered a lamb gyro. The meat was good, all the ingredients were fresh and the service was friendly. They don't skimp on the ingredients which is nice. I took a photo but my family had already picked out some meat because it was too good! FYI the hours on YELP are not updated because it is 9:30 pm and they are open even though Yelp says that they are closed.

Excellent wraps. Pretty good size, half a wrap is a meal for sure and take the other half home for later!
