Yaad Food Bar & Grill

I ordered Jamaican Pattie’s but they both were cold not even warm. The max and cheese 🧀 I wanted so badly and it was leaking pure oil at bottom and cheese was clumpy and was not hot either. I was so disappointed. The soda 🥤 was warm like never placed in refrigerator. This was my first time ordering but I’m so disappointed ☹️ that I really just don’t think I can order again. And I love Jamaican food so much too😞

My oxtail fell off the bone. Seasoned perfectly, the cabbage delicious. I love Jamaican food and I have been eating it for years from many different places. This is top-tier Caribbean food!

I don’t write reviews often but I had to for this place. Hands down best Jamaican food I’ve tried in Springfield. The portion is huge, I couldn’t finish it all. Food is seasoned well and is not greasy. Best value for your money.

Not welcoming. Told 20 min wait time, took 40 min to get my food. When it was time to pay I asked for where the chip reader was because I dont do tap to pay (Had money taken from my account an atm because of tap to pay so I dont use it) and she grabbed my card from my hand and tapped to pay. Apparently they lack the ability to understand english. Dont play with my kindness because I can get active. Ima save myself a crashout and move on to something more refined.

This is a great place, excellent food. Order early because they run out of their specials regularly. The food is just that good. All of it.

Very disappointed. Food was disgusting. Rice is very dry and plantain are soggy as hell. And the cabbage, what did you dump a can of mixed vegetables in the pot. Nasty…. The chicken dry as hell. I don’t know who cooked this but not what I’m use to. For this price, do better!!

I am pescatarian, so finding out that they made curried shrimps, I was in awe. I was greeted with a smile and a nice hello. The Young lady in the front was very nice and answered all my questions. I explained it was my first time visiting the the restaurant and she told me the days when this dish were served. She also recommended a few other dishes. The food was very flavorful and tasted like home. My curried shrimp was not peppery and the rice was nicely cooked. The wait time for the food was not long, typical wait. The restaurant was clean and wasn’t hot. They told me that I can have my food delivered and told me there other delivery services to use. I will definitely visit this restaurant again. Honestly, I'm really disappointed in my meal today. Everything and do mean everything was wrong and very overcooked! My beef patty, Coco bread and cheese was extremely dry no meat filling, my fried chicken with rice and peas and cabbage was all over done, not to mention I ordered dark meat, and what I got was extremely over cooked chicken breasts. Sad day for Yaad!
