Yaad Food Jamaican Restaurant

This is a great place, excellent food. Order early because they run out of their specials regularly. The food is just that good. All of it.

I ordered a meal through door dash, I expected if they were out of an item to have the common courtesy to call the customer to let me know especially since it was an entire meal because I would’ve canceled the rest of my order. When the food arrived, the beef patty ordered was not fully cooked and tasted like it was still refrigerated. The chicken was not well cooked and the French fries tasted stale. Very disappointed. This will be my last time ordering. Please do better.

We had the jerk chicken and fry chicken, it was delicious. Well prepared. We also order a side of mac and cheese but we found it to be too salty for our liking. I would visit again

Not the best place to sit down and eat, but the chicken is amazing. It’s well-marinated, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I’ve had.

Came up from Jersey to visit family and only my 3rd time in Springfield. Hands down some of the best Jamaican food I’ve had in a while. Ordered 4 different platters plus some beef patties and everything was tender, flavorful and delicious!

Very disappointed. Food was disgusting. Rice is very dry and plantain are soggy as hell. And the cabbage, what did you dump a can of mixed vegetables in the pot. Nasty…. The chicken dry as hell. I don’t know who cooked this but not what I’m use to. For this price, do better!!

Great food staff is really friendly. I always go here and grab something to eat when I’m doing laundry at the Main Street laundromat.

Honestly, I'm really disappointed in my meal today. Everything and do mean everything was wrong and very overcooked! My beef patty, Coco bread and cheese was extremely dry no meat filling, my fried chicken with rice and peas and cabbage was all over done, not to mention I ordered dark meat, and what I got was extremely over cooked chicken breasts. Sad day for Yaad!
