"Coffee culture is big in Arab communities, so it’s only fitting that Bridgeview is home to a new Palestinian-owned cafe that serves both a wide variety of coffee and traditional teas — a favorite being sage shai, which is black tea with sage leaves steeped within it — but also food and pastries. The breakfast menu is particularly expansive, with a traditional Palestinian offering of mezze like hummus and pita, plus a Yemeni-style menu that has ful and liver dishes. Yafa Cafe is also a great place to hang out for a bit if you work from home — just keep that sage shai coming." - Nylah Iqbal Muhammad

So we were just driving by and decided to stop for coffee. Ended up ordering food and absolutely loved it! Amazing and probably the best bread we've ever had. Coffee was great (even alternative milk options were available), unfortunately tea selection was poor, I really wish they served assortment of teas in pods vs tea bags. My biggest disappointment was the 18% gratuity, sneakily included in the check. While service was very good (and we actually do tip in cash), I personally don't approve of any mandatory service fees/gratuities, being pushed onto me, so for only that reason alone, will not be back (its just a matter of principle).

The newest spot in the block I was hyped about stopping by this new coffee shop that just opened. It’s a beautiful stand alone building with plenty of parking and dressed up real well from the outside and inside. The interior has been well designed and cleanliness is maintained. The menu seems really simple and easy but I believe there seems to be a miscommunication that was involved in our order. The drinks were supposed to be hot and not cold. But thankfully they took care of that but took about 15 minutes for 3 flavored coffees. The drinks were bland and overpriced and still not as hot as we hoped. The desserts are very good but super expensive. But I don’t mind paying for something that is satisfying. I have to say that I was disappointed in the quality drinks and the pricing of the drinks. Very nice and friendly staff. It’s a good experience but I’m not sure if I’d return.

Beautiful cafe, embelished atmosphere with amazing coffee! Diana was very sweet and consoderate server! This establishment doubles as a coffee house and dinner and is incredibly beautiful with glam interiors and decor. No suprise, the coffee tastes just as rich with flavors balanced perfectly! I tried their hot Biscoff Latte and their beautiful mocha milkshake was devine! I don't even like mocha, but could not stop myself from slurping it down. Just goes to show sometimes it's not the dish but the quality of ingredients that go into it. They are definitely popular, making their service rather slow by american standards. Though I'm not sure if this this is a cultural thing- as a European its expected to sit, loiter and enjoy yourself at any sit down establishment. A practice that can frustrate some, but overall didn't mind the slow go pace. Especially with such a wonderful and friendly staff. Though a bit understaffed they did their best. Diana especially was a sweetheart! I wasn't even her table but she made sure to come by and check on me a few times after noticing me waiting for some time. Very much appreciated! I can't wait to come by again and try more of menu!

This place evokes so many wonderful memories. The food is high-quality, affordable, and made with love. The staff is incredibly friendly and always greets you with a smile. Be sure to try their sage tea and mint tea, both are must-haves! Highly recommended.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته Today I was invited to Yafa Cafe and I have to say the place it's really clean and they have one of the best customers service. But when it came to the food it wasn't that great the kebda was burnt the fatet hummus no flavor and the foul , eggs with vegetables omelette no flavor 💔 the tea nearly warm and the dessert not good the falafel not bad I'll say the yamani dishes tasted better . No one finished there dessert. Unfortunately i wouldn't go back specifically when u spend about $300 for breakfast for 5 people . More effort needs to be put on the meanue and the food .

We visited this restaurant last Sunday for a family breakfast, and it was an amazing experience. The menu offers a wide variety of options, ranging from Yemeni to Shami breakfast dishes, which we loved. We ordered foul, hummus, falafel, and meat with onion, and everything was perfect. The falafel was incredibly delicious, and the meat with onion was cooked to perfection. The Yemeni bread was a standout—it’s a must-try! It was freshly baked right when we ordered, and everything was served quickly. The freshness of the food truly stood out. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it ideal for families with kids. The staff was very friendly, and the girl who served us was attentive, smiling, and always checking if we needed anything else. This is definitely a place we’ll visit again for a great family meal!

The staff is friendly and helpful with all my questions. The desserts are out this world delicious and the Carmel macchiato was perfect. Not too sweet, not too bitter and just enough Carmel to get excited about the next sip. Before I forget, the place is beautiful, great job decorating.

Yelp
Overall good experience. Food was good, however they were out of a couple things from their Yemeni menu. They were super busy so service was a bit slow but the staff did a good job with the cards they were dealt with. Busy for a good reason. Would recommend and will come bach..

Yelp
Found this place from tiktok and decided to go give it a try. The pastry is to die for, the Dubai cheesecake isn't too sweet and the lotus cake so flavorful and moist. I would come back again. This place close late and there is a parking. Interior design is breath taking. You can meet up with friend and sit there to chat. The place not only serve dessert , coffee and smoothie but food too. Will come back and recommend family and friend!

Yelp
Another great cafe/restaurant in Bridgeview. The food was delicious. Their foul is one of the best I've had. Customer service seems to be still in progress, but no biggie. My favorite part was the design of the restaurant. One of the best I've seen. I love the geometric design and faux grass on the walls. The seats were extremely comfortable, not hard wood chairs like many other places. The best part was the fresh bread they give you. Unfortunately they don't serve their tea in clear glass cups as the tradition goes, but it's ok. To my understanding, they serve food until 2 or 4 pm only. Then after that it's just drinks and sweets. Not a bad idea. Welcome to Little Palestine, Yafa!

Yelp
I got the biscoff latte. It was strong and delicious. The ambiance was very cute and clean.

Yelp
first we came in, then they finally sat us down after 30 minute. We waited a whole hour to get our food and the waiter we had was very rude it took an hour and she kept giving us dirty looks. The food was decent but could've been better. They are very low on staff and it takes forever for them to come by you and take your order or ask for more food or drinks.

Yelp
The cafe is beautiful! It has very pretty decor, especially at the entrance! I tried za'atar for the first time. I am not Middle Eastern, and the menu didn't really describe it so I was kind of confused as what to expect. When I googled it, Za'atar is a spice so I didn't know what the spice would be on. However, I was not disappointed! It was bread covered in Za'atar (kinda like a pizza but with nothing else). It was delicious and there was plenty leftover for the next day! The coffee was pretty average, but I appreciated it that it had enough ice to keep it cold, but it wasn't an excessive amount of ice! It did not take up half the cup!! That is why I give 5 stars instead of four! The customer service was average.

Yelp
Came on weekend morning for coffee and ended up staying for brunch! Bright and spacious - good food.

Yelp
Most delicious Arabic breakfast ever! The food is outstanding and there are so many options to choose from and inside is such a beautiful esthetic vibe!! Very good place to eat at with family and friends. Everything was 10/10! Amazing desserts and big menu of cafe drinks that is hard to choose from. Outstanding service as well!! Would definitely come back again and again!!
