Yafa Grille

I loved this place! The staff was very friendly and helpful, they helped with my decision, as I was a little lost. The falafel was really good, the greens and sauces they put in where fresh and very tasty. The fries were very crispy and yummy. They also have different fountain drinks which I really liked.

Nice little place nestled under McPherson Metro - limited menu of salads, wraps and pitas. If they expand selection, 5 stars for what it is. You will be pleased with the wraps. While the meat filling of steak or chicken is very good, or perhaps falafel, the gem of Yafa Grille is the veggie toppings. There are nearly 2 dozen to choose from and they are all fresh and flavorful. You can nearly taste every veggie distinctly. The meat is almost a side thought but DO get a meat as all veggie is no cheaper. Very tasty, you will leave happy -wraps are good and large, try it!

I work down the street and was looking for a good place for lunch to grab a bite that wasnt a burger spot. Shawarma sounded great. Yafa is a quick lunch counter style place that gets you in and out. The staff is nice and keeps the line moving. I got a rice bowl with lamb and added hummus and other vegetables. Very tasty and filling. I would go back. Only draw backs were the food could have been a little warmer and they charged for the pita bread (whole piece) which I thought came with it. Out the door my meal was $11 and change.

My new favorite place for shawarma!! Loved every bite, a must visit! It tastes just as good as it looks!

Had chicken shawarma sandwich, was tasty wrapped with pita bread, content of onions,hummus, tehini, pickles,jalapeno. You could select on variety vegetables.

What a great food !!! One of my favorite spots to eat in DC !! Fried Eggplant just delicious, the olives are very juice and tasty...

Great little place near McPherson Square that serves pitas, wraps, and bowls. Served deli-style. Just select your base and walk the line to choose your veggies and toppings. Quick, friendly service. This is vegetarian friendly. I will return for my lunch break.

Best place to get good Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food. It's quick and good quality food. Keeps the belly in good shape since I am DC area worker and pick up lunch here. I vote of the rice bowls are good and the toppings are amazing. Going here for 3 years and more, I have not been dissatisfied even once. Has vegan option.
