This place is great for to go orders. The food is good and tastes fresh. You get a decent amount of for each order and their fries have this seasoning on them that is addicting. Service is quick and concise. We ate in the restaurant but probably won't order for dine in again. It's not a very inviting place to sit and eat. We were the only ones in there and it's not a very lively place. The employees are quick with orders and making the food but that's it. Not friendly or talkative, not rude at all, just quiet. The bathrooms serve their purpose but smell and were a little dirty which is always off putting. Again, food was delicious.

The food Absolutely incredible. Every dish we ordered was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. You can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients and put real care into their cooking. The bowl was a standout perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Drinks were also on point, with a great selection of fountain drinks, and dessert was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a memorable meal and top-notch hospitality. Can’t wait to come back!

SF East Bay (Livermore). The hummus is indeed deserving of the hype and we especially love the pesto hummus! The wraps were also delicious and service was very good. Planning to try the original/classic hummus next time and the baklava ice cream!

The only thing better than the food is the service! Greeted upon entering, fast and respectful server, and an attention to presentation and detail. My absolute favorite dish is the "Back Home Style" with a side of Pita and spicy hummus! I always stop in when I'm out of town for work.

Yafa Hummus offers some very delicious food with large portions at a very reasonable price! Manager was very friendly and helpful, and was willing to spend the extra time to offer suggestions (the Back Home Style, pictured below) and answer questions. Portions were very large, with generous amounts of meat (note the Gyro Wrap, pictured below). Sauces were flavorful and added additional oomph to the overall taste of the food.

I really like this food, it has a lot of flavor, but they also add healthy things into your meal. I order a chicken shwarma wrap, it had tomato, cucumber, spring mix lettuce, and a tasty garlic white sauce, oh and i had it spicy so a hot sauce. I know i'm going to be going back for more. Tasty and fresh.

Looove Yafa Hummus! They've been one of my fav East Bay spots ever since they first opened in Tracy. I've tried just about everything on their menu already - I always ended up going here whenever I don't know what to eat since you can't really go wrong with anything they have! I stopped by their Livermore location looking for a late lunch. Fortunately, they weren't too busy so I was able to order and have my food out in probably less than 10 minutes! I always love getting the gyros or the chicken shawarmas here. The meats are super flavorful! I haven't found a place that beats their falafels either. The pesto hummus is also the best hummus! Pro tip: they have promotions on FiveStar every so often, so don't forget to sign up for that! You can also get free 6 pc falafel if you check in on Yelp ;)

2nd time at Yafa Hummus. Loved the food. We ordered Shawarma Fries and Chicken Shawarma. Loved both of them. Gentleman working at front helped us out and had a smile throughout out our interaction. Would come again.

We tried this place tonight to support the Livermore Little League fundraiser and the food was fantastic. The wraps and bowls are much bigger than we expected. We tried several sauces and each one was phenomenal. The place was very clean and the bathroom was nicer than most food places. The service was beyond great. We realized we forgot napkins and they were rushed out to us along with more sauce. The employees cooked our food fresh and it was fast. Everyone was very polite. We will be coming back.

The service there is always exceptional and the store is clean. I ordered the shwarma fries and they were delicious! I didn't add pickles, but the sauce and the chicken with the fries is a delicious combination! They are quick with the orders and really friendly!

We ordered the Chicken Shawarma bowl and the Falafel supreme. Both were ok . Nothing to standout . The staff was friendly and ready to assist anything we wanted. Since it was around 10 am, they were open but the place was desolate and we did not see anyone come in for the new b'fast items they were serving. But place looked clean and with ample seatings inside with gender neutral restroom at the end of the establishment.

Absolutely love this spot. Customer service is always good and the food is excellent. Would be five star except came in 15 minutes before closing last week and they said they said kitchen was closed and they cannot prepare food. Hoping that was a one time thing otherwise excellent service and food.

The food & service here is top notch. I go here a lot more than I review but it's time to update. Tonight it was take out. The bowls are great with plenty of fulfilling options. Food that is supposed to be hot is hot in temperature. Bowls come with warm pita and the hummus is creamy & tasty. The staff is very friendly & they especially welcome those customers that return over & over again. I forgot to take pictures as I was hungry. Next time I will tempt you more. Btw the lentil soup is a must have.

Nice staff and good food! Really enjoyed the shawarma fries; the fries themselves were a tiny bit too dry, but edible. The spicy sauce was amazing! Very delicious. They went perfectly well with the pickles and grilled onions. Very good flavor combination overall and the chicken was a nice protein option (a little overcooked though). The gyro pita was not my favorite; the tomatoes were sliced in a way that was hard to eat with the entire pita (maybe needs to be cut into wedges?). The tzatziki was good but unfortunately was only in one half of the pita. The beef was pretty salty in my opinion. The raw onions were thick and not super pleasant to eat. On the flip side, the falafel deluxe was good. The wrap was tasty and the fillings were quite flavorful. It was a good portion of food!

Went into the Livermore location today and was amazed. I am not good with names and never ask who took my order anyway, but the guy working today was amazing. My and my wife's bowls were works of art. He took pride in producing what he did and it showed. Even the placement of the bowl on the tray had purpose. I've never had such a beautiful tray of food served to me at a Yafa location as today. Absolute perfection. I don't think the dolmas and tabouleh were ever as good as today, but maybe the presentation had something to do with it. Great job!

Just like in Athens! Very fresh. I had Dolmas, falafel, chicken wrap and fries (I was hungry!) We ate in the restaurant and it was pleasant. The food though... the FOOD! So yummy and authentic (We had just come back from our first trip to Greece and this place was like going back there.) I brought half the wrap home for dinner and it was just as good heated up in my toaster oven later ... even though I was still full from lunch.

As someone who has eaten Middle Eastern food my entire life thus far, AH, can tell you that I have become quite picky about my falafels, my hummus, the spices, the bread, the sauces, the freshness of the produce, etc. etc. I can also tell you that walking into this restaurant, I immediately started to get so hungry, which really doesn't ever happen, as lately the M.E spots I've tried have been good, but not as DROOL WORTHY! and the longer I waited to eat the more it was driving me crazy lol Honestly, the scent in the air was so wonderful. You could smell the sumac, the parsley, the herbs and spices in the air. ( Here's a little secret that I've learned from knowing a lot of restaurant owners and their practices- too many restaurants do not use real spices and herbs. They just use food coloring and cheap oils. too many restaurants tell me that they would not eat the food that they serve to others in their restaurants! ) that is not the case here This is real food. This is the real deal.MA. I appreciate the vegan tzatziki, the lentil Soup, spicy hummus, salad, the best falafels If my family didn't finish everything so fast I could've probably tried more food lol! The owner of this location is some sort of angel. I am telling you the amount of unselfish giving he does to the community is unparalleled! My reviews are always honest and cruelty free. Yafa in Livermore is the spot!

Decent food, very clean place, service was good and fast. Tried veg falafel was decent.

Food was fresh. Service was friendly. I got a bowl with half gyro/half falafel. Their falafel here were fire. I've had them before at their Tracy location but the ones here hit different. They tasted fresher and crispier on the outside. At their Tracy location, they just call out your name when your food is ready. So, we were really surprised to see that they brought out our food to our table like it was a restaurant. That was so nice b/c we would've gone to get it ourselves. Same when we were done w/our food, we couldn't find the trash bin. So we asked the guy where the bin was and he said it was fine and to just leave the trays on the table, he'd take care of it. SO NICE! b/c he easily could've said, "it's over there" and pointed to it. Really delicious food and excellent service.

I guarantee the best service here, since everytime I go I get it. The staff is absolutely incredible, and the food is the best it gets. The inside is calm and nice, really relaxing to be here. My go-to spot!

Love the vegan options here. They have the best fries in Livermore. My favorite thing is the falafel sliders...no tzatziki the bread is moist, the falafel is crispy on the outside and soft inside and the pickles are so crisp and delicious. The staff is friendly. My friends loved the chicken shawarma wrap. Plus all of the baklava is sweet, flaky, nutty, and delicious. Cute spot for dine in or takeout. Inside and outside seating.

Yafa Hummus gets five stars in my book. Went here recently with my beloved. She got the falafel wrap. I got the falafel bowl with brown rice, falafel, amazing hummus, salad etc. The falafel wrap is made with daily made falafel mix served on lavash with hummus, spring mix, tomatoes, pickles and tahini sauce. Bowl is choose a couple items aka hummus, protein aka falafel two sides and went to dress it up with vegan tahini. I spent six weeks backpacking in the Middle East and love the Bay Area has so many great ethnic spots that are authentic with good veg options. We both loved it! Everything was fresh, affordable, tasty, vegan, and friendly service to boot so what's not to like. Five stars and we will definitely come back here.

First time here and it was amazing! The employee was so helpful and friendly, she was so sweet throughout our meal there and it was so refreshing compared to many of the restaurants in the area with not so great service. The food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly. The same gal who took our order also was serving and preparing the food, another huge kudos to her on that. Everything we had in our bowls tasted great. Pita was slightly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, hummus was creamy, gyro and chicken shawarma were nicely portioned and juicy. Even the greek salad was perfect. Couldn't ask for more. Yafa nails it in service, food, and value. Will definitely be a new go to!

Hummmmm-us! This place rocks! Fresh food, friendly employees, and who doesn't love tzatziki! I got the chicken schwarma, Greek salad, tabuleh, and spicy hummus. The spicy is not too spicy, but then again, I like spicy, packed with flavor, slather it on the pita bread, and forget the fork use the pita to scoop it all up. Mix up all those flavors for an action-packed burst of freshness. If I am in the area, I'm going here!

Nice and refreshing lunch. Food is always fresh and hot. Today I order a bowl. Chicken Shawarma with a pesto hummus, Baba Ganoush, Greek salad and a side of Tabbouleh Salad and pita bread.

Born and raised in Jerusalem , I know what real Middle Eastern food from Palestine tastes like. Amazing humus , falafel and everything else ! Great service and super friendly staff.

Things we ordered to-go: Gyro - spicy Falafel wrap Fries Cashew Baklava Gyro had a good amount of spice, meat was not at all dry and seasoned pretty well. I personally enjoyed it more with some Tzatziki on the side to dip. Falafel wrap was not as good, really heavy on the tomato and relatively sour. Falafel tasted very similar to the store bought powered stuff. Fries were well seasoned and crispy. The seasoning they put on is excellent. The cashew baklava is great and worth getting as a small dessert. (3/5) average The staff member was very welcoming and was very patient with us as we ordered and asked questions. Offered us samples on anything on display to help us with our purchase decision. (5/5) went above and beyond Inside is alright, definitely more designed for take out rather than dine in.

Had the Chicken Shawarma- I chose non spicy so it's nice there's an option. Tasted fresh and hot. What I liked most is that they use lavash to wrap it in as it's not as thick as tortillas that get used for Mexican burritos which I find too much of a carb load. The special garlic side sauce is very mild and not overbearing so could safely eat it and not have bad breath from it. Came across this place by accident- would definitely return.

They have great food here. I usually order the bowl with chicken shawarma or gyro, brown rice, kale, and spicy hummus. The spicy hummus and pita bread are delicious. Nice and clean location.

This place is truly amazing. It's so dangerously close to my house, I can't help but eat it at least once a week. Have had everything on the menu & the ingredients are so fresh, we love yafa hummus!

Upon first walking into the restaurant we immediately noticed how clean it was. The employees were very friendly and greeted us. As they were taking our order they were very helpful and nice. The food came out pretty fast about 5 minutes and it was delicious! The sauces are on point and the bowl itself with definitely keep you full. I ordered a bowl with white rice, chicken shawarma / falafel, Baba ghanoush, spicy hummus, garlic, Tzatziki, and spicy sauce. It was awesome! Super fresh and didn't leave me feeling gross or heavy. Of course I had to take some home cause it was too much for just me but now I have lunch for work! I'm a huge fan of baklava and always order it when a restaurant has one and this place has 3 options. Cashew, pistachio, and walnut. I tried the cashew and pistachio. The cashew one wasn't bad but it was a bit too thick and doughy. I preferred the pistachio one with the nice flaky layers and just the right amount of sweetness. Overall I'll definitely be coming back and this might just be my go to spot for lunch when I'm at work!

Shout out to Patrick and Brandon for personalizing the guest experience and providing great service. We read the reviews and the food sounded amazing! Little did we know how much we would enjoy our time here. Brandon helped us to order the most tasty dishes. We chose our protein: 1/2 chicken and 1/2 beef, hummus, brown rice, Greek salad and taziki. It was a party in the mouth and so filling we couldn't finish our bowls. We also got to sample the falafel by checking in on Yelp. And if that wasn't enough...we finished off with dessert, a soft serve bowl of vanilla ice cream topped with baklava. Everything was delicious and the service we received was excellent!

This place is wonderful. The hummus is better than Oren's and everything is SO FRESH! We had the bowls for lunch where you get a choice of a base, two proteins, sides and dressings. Comes with a huge pita bread. A very large portion for $15.00. The Gyros and chicken shawarma were both delicious. You can get wraps as well. Customer service was great. The server made suggestions and let us try the three different hummus before making a decision which one to order. The restaurant and bathroom are clean and nice soft music plays in the background while you eat. To go orders seemed very fast and easy. Loved this place and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

My absolute favorite in Tracy. I always have my initial review of a restaurant first. If it's good that's a plus, but I usually wait to review until after my 5th or more visit. I look for consistency. When a restaurant first opens their door, they have to be good, right? They have to make that impression to hook and pull you in. But, what happens when the honeymoon is over? Will the food still taste good, after a year or more? For Yafa Hummus, yes! The food is delicious, the service is great! If I lived closer to it, I'd eat here everyday.

Yafa is Located in the Portola Village Center shopping mall in Livermore. Before I came here, have checked their website about the history and what they offer. It's very interesting how Yafa Hummus was established. Their menu is very simple. They offer wraps, bowls and sides. Chicken, Falafel and Gyro are in offering. There are a few wraps and you can make a bowl with your choices. I ordered a Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Back Home style Wrap and a Chicken Shawarma Bowl, lentil soup, Baklava ice-cream and fountain drink as well. Chicken Shawarma is served on lavash - with spring mix and Mediterranean salad. It is served with a garlic sauce. If you want a spicy one, you have the option to add their chili sauce to it as well. I opted for the spicy version. I would say a medium spicy. It definitely added a special flavor to the Shawarma wrap. Perfectly cooked and delicious. I really enjoyed the flavor of it. Back home style is also a wrap, but cut into bite size pieces. Served with pickles and garlic sauce on the side. Very similar to Chicken Shawarma, but the flavor is different. It goes really well with the garlic sauce. I guess the garlic sauce add some the magic into this dish. Flavorful. For the bowl, you can pick a base - from the choices of white/brown rice, hummus, salad or Kale Slaw. Add a topping of Chicken, Falafel or Gyro. Or you can opt for half and half as well. Then you can pick 2 sides and a dressing. I opted of Chicken and Falafel - half and half, with brown rice as the base. Baba Ghanoush and spicy hummus for the side with tahini & tzatziki for dressing. It turned out to be really good, especially with the spicy hummus and baba ghanoush. Tzatziki has added a nice flavor to it as well. The brown rice was a little sticky, different from other Mediterranean places. Really enjoyed the bowl. The lentil soup and the baklava ice-cream also turned out to be really good. I loved baklava ice-cream. I was trying it for the very first time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Never knew Baklava and ice-cream are a good combination. The caramel drizzle added a different twist to it. While the food was great, the service was fantastic. From the lady who took my order to the lady who prepared it, super friendly and helpful. They were patient enough to listen and answer my questions. Really enjoyed the hospitality of the employees. They took some time to prepare the food. They packed it really well, added utensils and also asked whether I need some additional sauces. It's part of the big shopping center, parking is plenty. You can order in yelp/Grubhub as well. The food is great, service is fantastic; if you love Mediterranean food, what's stopping you from trying this place? Well, recommended.

Halal food that's easy and convenient. I appreciate the variety here. I came with my family and we got the wraps, hummus bowls and a rice bowl. Don't forget to check in on yelp to receive free falafel :) They have a 1951 menu which was so cool to see! They used to only sell simple things like hummus, pita and falafel. Love to see an establishment with some history. Bowl is the best option in my opinion. I got half beef and half chicken and it was such a huge portion size. Michael was such a great cashier and helped us order to go as well. He was kind and informative. Great staff.

we have been there a few times and always two things are constant - the taste is the same and the friendly service unlike the other yafa hummus outlets, this one is different. I have to mention Patrick who is behind the billing, he is always friendly and with a smile and is very helpful. Food tastes great always - I always get the same "spicy chicken shawarma with fries & drink" even when the person who makes it changes the taste does not change. Baba Ghanoush & Gyro tasted great. and they serve stubborn soda, which is my favorite soda, so they get extra points for that. the outlet is clean and located with a lot of parking space.

If I could give 10 stars I would, and I would give it all to the people who work here, mainly PATRICK. Most polite, most friendly, and cheerful person I've ever met, every single time it's such a great interaction. The food is good too, the place is small, excellent for a quick bite. Again Patrick. Hope your managers see this. If I could hire him for my own company, I would. And I hope someday that happens.

I am a big Mediterranean food lover and with Yafa, you just can't go wrong! Since I don't eat lamb, I never get the original lamb/beef mixture. At any other place, I will just get a chicken gyro but what I really like about Yafa is that you can get a classic gyro pita without the lamb! They have a beef only meat. It is so well seasoned and their tzatziki sauce is spectacular. It comes with onions and tomatoes too. Oh and the staff here is just phenomenal. They are so nice and always putting the customer first. For example, they once forgot to include soup in the order and so we called them back to let them know and they were so apologetic, when we came in to pick it up, they gave us an extra soup just to make up for it. Now that is customer service at its finest. I love this location.

They have good food, great staff, and there hummus is superb. It is a little bit pricey so that is why I am giving 4 star.

Decided to try this place out since I was in the area. Ordered the gyro pita (spicy) and the pistachio baklava. The guy who took and made my order was very friendly and personable. He took care in making my pita which I appreciated. I worried a bit about how much red sauce he was putting on cuz my mind flashed to halal guys red sauce but thankfully it's not spicy like that. It was very delicious and the baklava was such a nice little treat. Will be back to try their bowls.

Absolutely flawless! It's nice to have a fast, but healthy option for lunch/dinner. The store is very clean. The staff is beyond helpful and super attentive. Employees took their time to explain the entire menu and the proportions of bowls, shared recommend wraps and side options. The gyro bowl is the delicious and plentiful. Kale slaw has something addictive... the flavor keeps you wanting more and more. The claim to the best hummus is no joke! Both hummus, plain and spicy, were the best I've had. I am not a chicken shawarma fan, but wanted to try it, so I ordered a side. I feel I can't judge it since I'm not a regular for it... it wasn't bad, I'd just rather have gyro as a protein. If you mention it's your first time, you get to try all sauces. All sauces were good, but to be honest you don't need any of them because the food is on point!!! I'm definitely hooked!

The food here is so fresh and delicious. Between all my family members we have tried almost everything on the menu and everyone is always happy. So glad they're here in Livermore!

Limited but decent middle eastern selections. We were in Livermore and feeling peckish, so decided to check out the local Yafa Hummus eatery. Ordered standard fare from the menu, versus doing the build-your-own option. Favorites: Back Home Style ($9) - because it is so shareable and they make it with such care. Our older daughter ordered it and immediately wished she had not offered to share so readily. Gyro Pita ($8) - yum! My wife had ordered this and got to eat barely half after everyone else had "tasted" it! Pita chips with pesto hummus ($4) - addictive. Will Pass on these next time: Spicy Chicken Shawarma wrap - I'd ordered this and the "spice" was odd. No one wanted a second bite. Chicken over rice - our younger daughter ordered this but filled up on her sister's back home style and mother's gyro pita instead. Relegated to leftovers the next day. Will definitely be back, all older and wiser!

Yafa Hummus is a mediterrean eatery that gives u plenty of food at a reasonable price. lots of options, drill: order at register at far end, customize ur order, pay, pick up food at counter closest to the door. 2 community outside for dining. starbucks/panda express nearby also has outside dining tables. offerings: pita wraps, bowls, sides, desserts eats: gyro bowl (11.50) with 2 sides , free drink with yelp check-in -"stubborn" cheery soda made with cane sugar, not frutose, tasty.... -gyro serving large over large bed of fresh brown rice -2 pieces of pita bread can be used to fill up with gyro, rice, hummus, salad -greek feta salad & classic hummus was fresh... -i couldn't eat it all at once, ate in in spurts. take outs: -quick, friendly service -best value in mediterrean eats in the bay area. -it's less juicy as afghan eats, less meat options.

Love Yafa!! I spot here from Sonoma County every time I drive to LA. Worth the little extra commute from the freeway. Great food!

I could not be more excited to welcome Yafa Hummus to Livermore! We needed this fast-casual cuisine desperately. Chicken shawarma, falafel and gyro...oh my! During my visit the restaurant was extremely clean and the employees were super friendly. Gold star! Yafa Hummus also has two other locations in Dublin and Tracy and they are killing it on Yelp. Okay, I'm going to end my review now. I'd like to eat my leftovers.

It's great food but the guys are slowwwww. When the faster goes out for a smoke break the rest move in a glacial pace.
