The MICHELIN Guide Türkiye Reveals its 2026 Restaurant Selection

"Showcases the talents of MICHELIN Young Chef Award 2026 winner Duru Akgül in Muğla, housed in a beautifully restored old oil mill in Yaka village. The menu celebrates seasonal ingredients from local farmers and fisheries, with a particular passion for overlooked species like blue crab and lionfish, and a signature blue crab salad topped with crispy zucchini fritters and fragrant spices that captures a generous, precise, flavor-driven approach." - The MICHELIN Guide

D.I.V.I.N.E. That is pretty much all there is to say about this lovely spot tucked away from all the city noise of Datça. Everything we sampled was absolutely delicious. The flavors, the spices, the color palette of every single dish was fabulous 🤩 highly recommend trying if you are visiting and don’t forget to book a table in advance.

This restaurant it’s a must go if in Datca🤩, in my opinion. If child-less, better😅 It’s a very romantic atmosfere, especially for dinner. Although we were with our 3 kids and the dog, my husband insisted to go there and the staff wasn’t oripilated by the children as in other fine dining restaurants. They even joked with us about the situation :) - the one who knew English😂 The lights, the music, the vibe, the delicious food (very small portions indeed, but we were prepared and were not very hungry), represented the perfect evening👍🏻✨ As a minus, because it’s a fine dining local, the food came very slowly and we have to wait long. I would definitely come again, without children that time to enjoy the entire atmosphere😍

Wow, what a beautiful experience of food, vibe, atmosphere, and service! We luckily stumbled across this incredible gem of Datca and now I have to go back. Chef Duru is serving up beautiful and seasonal menus - working with local ingredients and invasive species like the lion fish, an incredible dish she had on the menu, which highlights the important work/awareness to the local ecosystem. Chef Duru explains all the dishes which are all so creative, balanced and delicious. The team, hospitality, and service are amazing, the setting is stunning…you must go while in Datca! Can’t wait to return! Thank you so much!

A gem in the heart of a Datça village. The restored building and garden encompass you with stone walls, intimate light, and ultimately a great experience on the palette. Great cocktails, wine pairings for the variety of dishes, and an eclectic menu. Delicate balances of acid and salt with super good cuts of meat/fish. Presentation is also very pleasant and creative. Yakamengen’s chef has built a menu which plays very well with local tradition, contemporary classics, and a modern approach to each element. Highly recommend going out of your way to visit. Cheers!
