Yakitori Omino

"The staff, sporting twisted headbands on their close-cropped heads, serve yakitori with passion, keeping the skewers coming until the customer says ‘stop’. The chef uses whole chickens, so you can sample even rare cuts to your heart’s content. Of special note is the use of Kishu binchotan charcoal, grilled close to a roaring flame. Skewers are brushed with dashi stock, soy sauce and oil to wreathe them in fragrance. For best results, make your preferences known when you walk in." - Michelin Inspector

The best yakitori in my life. First dish is chicken liver. Hands down. I can’t wait for the rest of dishes. Surprised me !! Finished all 25 dishes. Amazing experience

Yakitori Omino is an absolute standout when it comes to yakitori. My visit here was nothing short of exceptional. The delicious yakitori they serve creates truly memorable moments. The staff are not only friendly but also add a warm touch to the experience. What truly amazed me was the generous portions of food they offer. They won’t stop serving until you say so, so make sure to arrive with an appetite! Additionally, if you prefer to avoid raw items, simply let them know before they start. They are always welcoming and accommodating to your preferences. Highly recommended for an unforgettable yakitori feast!

Never thought skewered chicken omakase can be this good, everything is up the highest standard and desserts great too. And you get the great view of Tokyo Tower on the way out too.

Delicious meal, with great service. Chefs speak some English, plenty enough for you to understand how to enjoy your meal. You can pick specific pieces, or just enjoy what they offer you. Save room for the rice bowl at the end of the meal! It was very difficult to get a reservation, we got one by booking one online right when reservations opened for the month.

Google
High end yakitori that’s relatively easy to book online. I appreciated that the chef had good quality control (bad sticks were discarded after grilling, rather than served), and the location makes for a good outing together with the Skytree. Only rating it four stars taking into account value, but many high end yakitori places are priced at >¥10000/pax these days, so it’s not unusual.

Google
Food is amazing obviously but the service here is impeccable. They’re so anticipatory, spotting any from low radish and drink levels, a drip of yakitori sauce, new hot towels once out of the bathroom and english spoken by all of the front house. Though we were the only English speakers at the seating. Easy to locate, few minutes from Skytree, ground level in a residential area. Look for exit A1 at the station when leaving your train.

Google
A great meal overall and they will feed you as many skewers as you can eat (they will charge according to the number of skewers you had so don’t treat this like other all-you-can-eat restaurants).

Super high-end yakitori shop run by ex-Torishiki crew. The offering looks similar to its birthing place but since I never visited Torishiki, can't really be sure. They use unusual cuts rarely found in other shops, like hatsumoto (main arteri), chichken neck skin, yurine, cochin, ginan, even tofu was super tasty grilled to perfection with kishu binchotan (special hardened charcoal from Wakayama pref.). Round it up with oyakodon and taste the amazing egg. There is also chazuke. Location is spitting distance from skytree.

Yelp

Yelp
delicious yakitori, they speak pretty good english so you know exactly what you're eating. it was kinda hectic in there though, and it gets hot as you're in a small room with seating centered around the grill. the meal is pretty quick, skewers are served constantly with some small plates as well.
