If there is one thing I'm picky about, it's finding a great salon to get my eyebrows done at. I moved from the Bay Area to Orange County back in 2017, and almost immediately after getting settled I was on the hunt for a salon. I've been to several salons -- some in Orange, others in Lake Forest, but then I found Yalda Beauty back when she was working out of Irvine. She knew exactly how I wanted my brows to be; she even helped me grow them out after other places have made them uneven, but above all we had great conversations and clicked. I never went to any other salon after that. I've been going to Yalda and have known Mozhgan for five and a half years now since writing this review. I have even followed her to her new location in Newport because her work is very, very worth the drive. Go to Yalda -- your brows will thank you!

Hi, I have been meaning to do this review for a while now! I've been coming to Yalda Beauty Brow for years now! I get my eyebrows threaded every 4-5 weeks and it's quick, professional, easy and painless! Never had a problem scheduling! Have also gotten eye lash extensions for a special occasion! I loved them! Got so many compliments and were natural looking (what I asked for). I just didn't want to keep up with the price and maintenance otherwise I would have continued with them. Happy to be coming here for years and years! If you're considering it, just book an appointment! You won't regret it!

Mozghan blesses my eyebrows every time I see her and love how we have gotten to know each other over the handful of years. I have had many bad experiences with getting my brows done and having someone I trust to take care of them is very reassuring. Mozghan has also given me tips on how to keep my brows from thinning and what makeup products can affect the growth of them too. She is super attentive and cares a lot about keeping her working space clean and comfortable. Making appointments with her is super easy and scheduling in advance definitely helps. Yeah, funny how things change after a few visits and some perspective. I used to visit Yalda Beauty Bar at least once a month for my brows and I stand by my previous reviews, she was efficient and didn't take long yet my brows ended up looking good. Yet there were always spots she'd overlook (especially above the ends of my brows) and I have walked out with not quite symmetrical brows quite a few times. But this place was decently priced, close to home, and my favorite thing - she was able to make reservations via text. Yet during a particularly difficult and crazy two weeks, every time I'd text to figure out a time that would work, by the time I was able to check my schedule the slots would be filled. I totally understand a busy schedule, having one myself, but I hated how I would end up feeling apologetic, and actually apologizing via text often, when this happened. Her texts were rude, abrasive, and just made me not want to go in at all. One time when trying to figure out a time that would work she sent me this really long text that was, once again, rude and condescending. For me, that was the last straw. Honestly, check the reviews, search up the word rude and see how many show up and, better yet, look at the owner's responses to those reviews! This is not something anyone should have to put up with. I didn't respond and haven't gone to her since. I have gone to places that charge double what she has, have tried several different places trying to find someone that's both good minus the attitude because there had to be one as this just wasn't worth it. Thankfully I have found an incredible place that charges slightly less than here and does a million times better of a job, without the attitude, rudeness, or stress of as the owner here likes to repeat very often having waaaay too many appointments and being by reservation only. Honestly, I'm glad she was rude because I'd probably still be going here for the convenience.

5 stars . I get lash extensions here and it's the best most high quality lashes I've ever gotten Super comfortable, natural and glam looking. Best of all they last over 3 weeks And I never have to worry about cleanliness with her. She knows the best shape for my eye and is so precise and meticulous in her work. A true artist. Everyone always asks me if my lashes are real or natural and where do I get them done, that's how good she is !!

I'm so so glad to have found Mozghan! She responded quickly to schedule a last minute appointment for me. I got my brows threaded first and the next appointment I got a lash lift here. First of all, I've never been happier about my brows, they are the perfect shape and thickness, she knows what looks good on you and is a true artist. I kept getting compliments on my brows and lashes. I am thankful that she took her time and did not rush the treatment for my lashes because it was her last session of the day. She took her time and redid it until she it happy with her work which is really appreciate. She also has a great personality and try to make a conversation with you so you're not just laying there bored out of your mind which is nice. She's super nice and friendly as well as prefessional and informative. I'm never going anywhere else, this is the one!

Mozghan was able to accommodate a last minute threading request and did a fabulous job! Her space is so calming and relaxing that it's hard not to fall asleep while you're there! :) I came back for a facial and will be back in a few months. She is thorough, prompt in her communication and friendly!

Moved away for a couple years. I just moved back and was looking for threading. In 2016 pricing was about 9-10$ now its 25? That's far too much for threading.

I got my eyebrows threaded and tinted for the first time and Yalda was amazing! She made sure I was comfortable the whole time and even gave me a tissue when my eyes started to water lol. I definitely recommend her!

I've been coming to see Mozhgan to get my eyebrows threaded for 3+ years now. She's usually very quick to respond to texts for appointments, but she's also super crazy busy so have some patience when she doesn't respond right away! She is super quick but that does not mean rushed at all. She listens to what you want and checks to make sure you're satisfied. Perfection every single time. She just gets eyebrow shapes. She's also such a friendly person, easy to talk to as she's working her magic. Her prices are reasonable as well and she also had a stamp card for you to accumulate the visits for discounts.

Just had an appointment with Mozhgan for a keratin lash lift, and the results and my experience were above and beyond what I could have expected. I was very grateful that she could work me into her schedule last minute, she even called me to tell me she had an opening! This was my first time having anything done to my lashes, so I wanted to find someone with her expertise. I had many questions to ask, and Mozhgan answered very knowledgeably. We had a great conversation during the entire treatment, which made the whole process a breeze. She is very patient, honest, and gentle. I love my results and will definitely come back to see her again. I'm happy to refer her to all my friends, and I am so happy that she's in my area.

I've been meaning to write a review, but always forget. Great service, she tries to fit you in even on short notice to the best of her ability. It's slightly more than other places, but the quality makes it worth it. She even will text you if you made an appointment far in advance so you don't forget.

Just moved Irvine and looking for someone for face waxing and threading and I got very lucky to find Yalda in very first attempt. She is very understanding and listen to your needs and concerns carefully before she starts her work. I told her how my skin is very sensitive in certain areas and she use different ways to clean those areas. Other thing I liked her decor and color of the room. As soon you walked in you feel very calm and relaxed. Yalda's hand is very soft for threading and she takes her times to finish on the face because each area requires different treatments. I was very impressed with her work and love to recommend Yalda to everyone but make sure txt her for and appointment and be on time. She sure is busy which means she is awesome . She's THE brow goddess. Period. The reality is that there are not many people in OC that can do brows (especially thicker ones that require a lot of shaping), much less do it with threading. Yalda is an artist, and my brows have never looked better. She corrected the shape that had been ruined by trial and error that I made when I moved to OC from LA, looking for the right person, and failing. My brows are dark and thick, so any mistakes in shape cannot be covered by filling in like you can do with thinner, lighter brows. Over the course of 3 months since I met Yalda and listening to her direction on what about areas to let grow out, they are almost growing in to the natural shape they are supposed to be in. In addition to that she's always on time, and super sweet.

I'm so happy I found Yalda Beauty bar! Mozhgan is the best with eyebrows! Not to mention, she's pretty quick so I'm in and out and not waiting. With little kids, it's not easy to wait! My eyebrows come out perfectly even every single time. I recently moved but she is so worth the drive! .

I really loved the way Mozgan does my brows, she knows what she's doing and her salon is always very cleanly and pleasant. However, at what cost? She unfortunately has a very bad attitude, can be condescending/rude, and unprofessional. We all get stressed out, we all get frustrated with the people we work with, but if you're trying to run a business in America, you aren't going to get far with the attitude she has. I'm very disappointed that I have to switch my brow lady because I truly think her work is great, but it's become a turn off at this point. Maybe in the future she can learn some proper etiquette so that she won't lose clients /:

As many can relate, I went to the chain threading places & unfortunately got traumatized by poorly done brows. It was a terrible experience. Took me two months to decently grow my eyebrows back Thanks to Yelp & reviews, I found Mozhgan & her beautiful, clean & quaint salon. I no longer need to tame by own brows. I left her a voicemail requesting for an eyebrow/chin threading appointment & immediately received a call back (++++ customer service) I came in today & had the best experience! Mozhgan provided a very warm & welcoming environment. Once I sat on the chair, we started chatting.. I felt I've known her for years (to me that's a big win if someone makes you feel that comfortable) I told her my specifics & showed her pictures of my brow goals. She listened & did her magic! I couldn't be happier!! Definitely coming back! She's a must! I'm willing to pay a tad more to get the results I want!

I found her online after moving to Irvine 6 months ago. I got tired of driving so far for the one closer to my work so I yelped this place and it has good reviews. I booked an appt through yelp and she responded and offered me an appointment the next day. Google maps does not help you find it so I looked at her Suite #20 and It is located inside a multi beauty business salon. Once you walk into the building there are multiple rooms for different beauty services. She is on the left side. I hope this helps other people because I hate being late :) Yalda has a beautiful spot, clean, decorated nicely, and the best thing is that she was very personable and asked me if I had any concerns before she starts to do my full face threading. I was surprised by how warm she is and how fun she is to talk to. She was very thorough when working on my face and put toner and aloe on afterwards for me. I think she gives amazing service and I wanted to write her a review because I am so happy with her work. I felt her passion for what she does, and professionalism. Thank you I will definitely come back to this place!!

Like this place where I go often for eye brow waxing. I have a lot of difficulties to find the right person to wax this part as it s important for me and I don t like threading. Happy with the service in general but this time I was disappointed as the wax was maybe too strong but it created some burns hurting and not beautiful to look at. Hope next time it won t happen...

Thank you for taking me in without an interview! She seems to be super busy with all her appointments but I got really lucky today for she was able to squeeze me in for a quick eyebrow and upper lip threading. She's super precise and accurate with the eyebrows and I LOVE how they look now! My upper lip is also super clean and she's so friendly. I do recommend calling to make an appointment though! It's worth the wait :) Btw, she's located inside the Sola Salon!

YO THIS IS GOING TO BE MY GO-TO BROW PLACE FROM NOW ON. Mozhgan definitely knows what she's doing. She's able to look at your face and tell what shape fits you best. As a full-time student working full-time, I stress a lot and tend to scratch my brows, leaving them sparse in some areas (my ends); without telling her about my habits, Mozhgan knew which areas of my brows I needed to care for. She gave great tips on how to sleep and what oil to use (castor oil) to grow out my brows. I have never received this much thorough advice and tips for care treatment before in my life and I've been to quite a few brow salons as I have never been completely satisfied anywhere. I trust Mozhgan w my brows 100%! Yalda Beauty Bar just gained a loyal client! IT'S LOCATED IN SOLA SALONS BUILDING. Honestly, I was trying to find this place for half an hour until finally, I found it. Yalda was nice enough to fit me in without an appointment (between her other scheduled appointments), and I was really thankful! It was quick and easy (the pain still takes some getting used to)- she finished in 10 minutes and was very professional. I also bought 3 appointments from Groupon, and I'm glad I did! I'm very satisfied!

I always feel great after getting my eye brows done here! She has great attention to detail. And if you want or have thicker brows, she won't over do it and give you advice to help grow out sections. I recently had my eyebrows tattooed, and the shape and thickness are just PERFECT!!! I am a bit of a difficult case because although I have silvery white hair, my eyebrows are still quite dark and naturally I was very concerned I'd get severe, thick, BLACK, caterpillar (think Joan Crawford) looking eyebrows. Thankfully, that is NOT the case. They look fantastic and although initially they are a bit intense in color, they will definitely lighten up. Owner, Mozh, explains everything and gives great aftercare instructions to ensure optimum results. Mozh is excellent at her craft, a true artist!!! I have also had eyebrow and facial threading multiple times and always come away with excellent results. Prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Yalda Beauty Bar and Mozh to anyone seeking perfection!!!

It's these days i wonder why people open businesses just to make people pissed off when they drive to them and waste time when you can't even find the location let alone get in contact with anybody that works there. My call was hung up on and ignored all 5 times I called and my texts were also, subsequently ignored. All that to make an appointment. Thanks yalda. I'll take my business elsewhere

Mozghan was very pleasant. I went in for an eyebrow wax after waiting for a long time because I had a bad experience at my last waxing appointment in another salon. She suggested I use castor oil to help regrow my brows and talked me out of microblading which I really appreciate. She was honest about the procedure with my brow type and told me I didn't really need it. Her ethical approach to my concern left me very impressed. Her work is also excellent and price is fair. I'll definitely go back.

The last few times I got my brows done, I went to Brow Mantra nearby because it had decent reviews. Each time I went, my brows would get thinner and thinner. I decided I needed to grow out my brows and find someone new who could shape it and work some magic on it. I found Mozhgan on here and was skeptical of all her 5 star reviews. I'm always a bit skeptical when I see that. I made an appointment online and she responded within the hour. She really knows her brows --- she looks at your face and shapes your brow accordingly. She is honest and gave me some good brow growing & grooming tips because I still have some awkward spots and she took the time to go over them with me and ask how I want to handle these awkward hairs. She left as much of my brows as possible and showed me how to fill them in while I wait for them to grow in. She was friendly, warm, and really has the eyes/knowledge for what works best for your brows. I paid a little more than I do at my previous brow places, but you get what you pay for. You can go to a random person each time for $10 or pay a little more and get more attentive, personalized services. I left feeling like my brows weren't completely butchered, it was great.

I'm very picky on my eyebrows and how they come out. I stuck with 1 person when I was back home and never dared stray from her. Moving out to the west coast I struggled to find someone that can do such great work. A friend recommended this salon so I decided to try it out. This is my new go to for threading. She does get booked so make sure you schedule an appointment before just showing up!

Review for eyebrow threading (3 times). Pros: Setting up an appointment day of or day before is fairly easy - her quick responses & scheduling via text is great. The studio is small but private, clean & comfortable for the customer. Cons: With my first experience, I was treated well - she was attentive, took time to ask what I wanted and was very polite & friendly. The two times thereafter (I came in 2 months apart), she was not nearly as attentive, took only a couple minutes and was noticeably not as friendly...just tried to get me in and out of there fast without speaking much. Her work was much less detailed than the first time. The friend I referred to her reported the same after 2 visits! I get the impression that she only puts in real effort the first time you see her. Disappointing, and for the price she charges it's not worth it. Good if you're in need of a one-time quick fix, but it's also fairly easy to find better threading jobs for a cheaper price within a 10 minute drive.

I have been threading my brows since I was 16 and I did not know how bad they were until i got older and realized how uneven and thin they were. Yalda took me in as a client 2 years ago and since then we have been working really hard to get them even and full! Unlike other brow artists who rush to get you out, Yalda listens to what you want and provides her best input. She truly cares about her clients, and is very proud of her work. You get what you pay for, and I love her! 15/10 recommend
