This sushi spot is incredible! The rolls were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared — truly a treat for sushi lovers. The vibes were amazing, with a relaxed yet lively atmosphere that makes dining here a great experience. Service was friendly and attentive, and I also love that they stay open late. Definitely a 5‑star sushi restaurant I’ll be coming back to again and again!

Google
Everything was delicious and reasonably priced! Our favorites were the 5 Rainbow Cucumber Roll and Shishito Peppers. The Octopus Wasabi doesn’t look appetizing or great in photos but tasted amazing. Everything was beautifully plated, the restaurant was lively for a Tuesday night, and our server was exceptionally attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Chill spot, with hole in the wall vibes. Pretty lively for a Tuesday night at 10pm. Our waitress (I think her name was Melinda) was super attentive, nice, and overall helped make the experience great, she even suggested a roll that ended up being my fav, it’s the only roll wrapped in cucumber instead of rice! The sushi tasted very fresh, and delicious. I highly suggest you try the poppers, as an appetizer!! Will def be a returning customer!

Google
Overall great place. Melanie served us, and she gave exceptional customer service…on par with a five star dining experience. Food was authentic and flavorful. The place was quite busy as it is a popular spot, but that didn’t really detract from the experience as they seem well equipped to handle it. If you prefer a more quiet experience, I’d recommend not coming during peak hours.

Google
Yama in Frisco delivers a genuinely authentic Japanese Izakaya experience. The staff is consistently friendly and exceptionally hard-working. The extensive menu boasts a wide array of traditional Japanese dishes, with the Kushi (Japanese BBQ) standing out as a must-try highlight. Highly recommended for a taste of true Japanese cuisine."

Google
Yama Izakaya & Sushi in Plano is a hidden gem! The service was excellent—especially the bartender, who was super welcoming and attentive. They serve Asahi on draft, and it’s hands down one of the best beers to pair with sushi—cold, crisp, and refreshing. I really enjoyed the appetizer skewers—grilled to perfection with amazing flavor. And if you love wasabi, don’t miss the Tear Drop sushi. It’s bold, unique, and totally worth it. Great food, great service, and awesome vibes. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This restaurant is an excellent choice for a delightful dinner or a cozy night out with a loved one. While I'm not a connoisseur of alcoholic beverages due to my body's limited tolerance, I thoroughly enjoyed the refreshing Peach Jelly Sake. If you have a sweet tongue like me. Takoyaki was absolutely delicious, similar to many other Japanese restaurants. Chicken Karaage was decent, though perhaps a tad ordinary. I'm eager to explore the spicy flavor on my next visit. The sushi presentation was visually stunning. If you're a fan of shrimp, I urge you to indulge in the delectable Sweet Shrimp. Even during our late-night visit around 9 PM, the restaurant was crowded. Be prepared for slight delays in service due to the high demand. I look forward to returning to this place in the near future

Very Good Japanese Restaurant. Good for big groups. Service is wonderful 💯. It has lots of different options for food & drinks.

Yelp
Great food and service. The sushi is always fresh, and I also enjoy the happy hour Monday - Wednesday. Always a vibe when you stop by. I always feel at home here. This is our go to spot when Friends and Family come in town to visit.

Yelp
great place for cheap drinks and pretty decent Japanese food, especially if you're out late. Most of their skewers are pretty good & their mapo tofu soup is delicious. Bartenders there are fun to talk to. Great vibes there!

Yelp
I love when restaurants stay open late. I had the shishito peppers and the Motsuni (beef stomach and vegetables cooked in miso soup). The sushi was amazing, you honestly don't need any soy sauce.I wasn't sure if I was going to like the beef stomach, but the seasoning really complemented the texture and I ended up wanting seconds. The bar is the best spot; you meet cool people and can talk for hours. The waiter was also pretty laid back, which added to the chill vibe.

Yelp
Yama is my go to for late night grub. The Yellowtail sashimi is one of the most buttery and rich pieces of fish I've ever had. And for my pasta, I can't ever forget to order the Seafood Creamy Udon noodles. Im transported to pasta heaven every bite. They even have a happy hour menu from 10 PM- 2 AM. While you wait for your food you can grab their strawberry Chu-hi cocktail (and other flavors) for just $3 and trust, they get you feeling nice and bubbly!

Yelp
I really want to give this place a 5, simply because of its authenticity and ambience, but after trying it several times I just don't feel like the value is there. There's no doubt that they have a great menu with many things that others don't, but I just can't help but feel a little unsatisfied with the value for the price. I feel like their quantity is a little bit on the small side. Service is great but I feel like it's a better place to go throw back a couple beers and get some appetizers rather than try to have a filling meal.

Yelp
Everything was delicious and reasonably priced! Our favorites were the 5 Treasure Cucumber Roll and Shishito Peppers. The Octopus Tako-Wasabi doesn't look appetizing or great in photos but tasted amazing. Everything was beautifully plated, the restaurant was lively for a Tuesday night, and our server was exceptionally attentive. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
So much good packed in to an unassuming strip mall. Oh and they're open until 2a! To call Yama Sushi a dive is not accurate although it may feel like one. This is the real deal with no frills or fancy decor just excellent food and super service. I was skeptical when walking up but when the doors opened I knew I was in for a treat. Somehow it was Happy Hour but then again maybe every hour is happy here. We ordered a pitcher of beer and sake along with the Pork Belly $3, Spicy Edamame $6, and Spicy Cucumber $5 while we mapped out our culinary adventure. Some Shrimp Tempura $10.50, a 5 Treasure roll $17, Sashimi 7 $60, and a couple more rolls along with more beer and we were pleasantly full. The presentation was good and the fish was great.

Yelp
Open late and a breadth of choices spanning from Chinese to Japanese food. We came in a little late on the weekend and the place was still pretty busy! Our food came out quickly and was tasty. We particularly liked the beef flat noodles and salmon maki rolls!

Yelp
I went to Yama at 9:54, not knowing that they close at 10:30 pm on Sundays. They refused to seat or serve my family and I. I am giving them 2 stars because I do love Yama and I love going to eat there most of the time. They do have their flaws but refusing to serve someone when the restaurant is open for 30+ minutes is ridiculous. While I was talking to them, they turned the open sign and front light off, and closed the blinds. At this point it's not even 10:00 pm. As someone that has worked in the service industry for a long time, I have never been to, or even worked at a restaurant where they refuse service and have claimed to do last call more than 30 minutes before their closing time. This was very disappointing! To make things worse, when I got back in the car with my family, my 4 year old son wanted some white rice because I told him I was getting him some rice. I ran back inside to ask if I could order a side of white rice to go (since I knew it was already premade and easy to serve) for my son, and they refused to even do that. I was back in my car and driving off by 10:01 pm. That leaves 29 minutes of Yama still being open with guests sitting in there still eating. I have looked past some of the poor service before but I will never set foot in Yama ever again because that is absolutely ridiculous!

Yelp
WHAT I ORDERED: Salmon Nigiri, Eel Nigiri, Crawfish Nigiri, Spicy Salmon Nigiri, Louisiana Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, Beef Tendon, Chicken Karaage, Black Bean Sauce Clam, Salt and Pepper Tofu, Chicken Gizzard, Pork Belly PARKING: Parking lot with plenty of space INSIDE: Came here for late night happy hour, which is between 10pm-2am every night, and was seated right away. As you walk to the table, you can see the bar and chefs preparing the sushi. Multiple booths run along the wall with tables in the middle. Bathrooms are available near the back. THE FOODS/DRINKS: The salt and pepper tofu is a must, it has a nice crunch while the inside is still soft and the flavoring is simple yet delicious. The black bean sauce and chicken karaage are also dishes you can't go wrong with, there's usually basil with the chicken karaage but they must've forgot it this time. There's a limited amount of rolls on the happy hour menu but not bad for the price.

Yelp
A lot of sushi place doesnot have wasabi tako but they have! A lot of selection and even have sweet shrimp. The Hokkaido chirashi is very very good. We ordered some pork belly and it's great too.

Yelp
One of the best ! Super cool guy at bar, always back to here because of him and for sure sushi is so good and price

Yelp
Unassuming on the outside but a party on the inside! Fortunately we requested the bar side (which was much quieter), but I can imagine it being hard to hear in the main dining room. The service was quick and kind, but I was a little disappointed with the fish quality for the price.

Yelp
This spot is always busy especially at night when everything else is closed. The food is mediocre-- nothing great. I like to have their skewers with hot sake. I wouldn't recommend the sushi here unless you're truly craving it. Service is pretty fast and a great place for late night eats!

Yelp
LOVE YAMA!!! Excellent sushi! There are always new things to try. This is a cool spot ;)

Yelp
Overall, the fish quality was decent, and the price reflected that. The seafood udon was great, as were the chicken thigh skewers.

Yelp
FOOD - Takoyaki - Buta-Kimchi - Seafood Creamy Udon - Scallop Volcano - Double Pleasure - Three of a Kind The Takoyaki was pretty good. It was very crunchy on the outside which was really yum. There was also a decent amount of octopus in ours as well. The sauce was evenly and well-drizzled. Not too much bonito flakes. So overall a great dish. My mom really liked the Buta-Kimchi. It came out very hot and was cooked well. The flavor of the Kimchi with the pork tasted phenomenal and the egg on top just added more pizzazz to the dish. Loved! The Seafood Creamy Udon was also really good (my dad's favorite). It was a little more on the runnier side but still good. There was a generous amount of sauce which mixed well with the noodles. Also served with an assortment of different seafood. A very rich dish but pretty good! The Scallop Volcano was super tasty. Very generous amount of scallops on top and perfect amount of sauce to not make the sushi soggy. The sesame seeds and smelt roe on top also made it very good. I would recommend this dish for sushi lovers and to those that are not too fond of eating raw fish. The Double Pleasure is a roll with tempura fried shrimp and then topped with avocado, salmon, and spicy tuna. I liked the combination of everything. All the fish tasted fresh and the tempura was crunchy inside the role. Fresh and vibrant-colored avocados. The Three of a Kind roll is a spicy tuna roll with salmon, crab, avocado, and wasabi mayo on top. It definitely did not taste spicy at first, but after a couple bites it definitely does get hot. The fish was fresh and the roll gives you a variety of different raw fish to try on the top. Great combo and enjoyed eating. VIBES There is plenty of seating around the restaurant. There are booths, tables, and a sushi bar area. We went around 5 or 6 PM and it was pretty crowded so a little more on the loud side. The TVs mostly had sports on them and the music was pop music from the past decade. The lighting is a bit on the dimmer side with most lighting coming from the window at the time. Overall pretty good place to casually meet with some friends to chat or just to hangout on a Friday night with family. SERVICE Service was overall good! Food came out fast and our waitress was nice. She checked in on us multiple times to make sure everything was going well. No complaints here.

Yelp
Over rated would be how I would define this place. I was really excited to give this place a try. The reviews were great, the food they serve piqued my interest and I knew a couple of people who mentioned them in a good light. Unfortunately my customer service experiences were not that great and the food was underwhelming. On top of this, a menu item that was supposed to have salmon roe in it came with flying fish roe (cheap option) instead without warning and when I asked the manager on duty (Aaron) he said it was because I ordered the cheaper chirashi even though the photo had it displayed on the menu. Not to mention the more expensive bowl was only a $2 difference which I would have paid to get the salmon roe had I known this would happen. The yakitori took forever to come out or never came at all so make sure to double check your order and be ready to wait a lifetime for your skewers. My one recommendation would be to get the curry katsu. Their curry is really flavorful and goes with the rice and fried pork cutlet VERY well. Everything else was just ok other than the curry with pork cutlet. The wasabi fries were fun. Croquette was just ok but a cheap option if you want a snack. Chirashi bowl was not very fresh and had replaced item without consent, warning, or price adjustment. Udon was just ok. Mapo tofu was ok but very oily. Fried oysters were ok but the batter was thick for my taste. Jalapeno poppers were just ok but a good option for low carb folks. Skewers were good in the sauce but took forever to make it to our table or never made it at all. In the end I would recommend the curry and that is about it. They also had some draft beers and sake for pretty cheap which is fun. There is usually a wait on busy days but we went on a Tuesday once and there was no wait. They do not take reservations unless your party is a certain size or depending on who you talk to and when. Not sure why this is but that is what we were told. Plenty of parking.

Yelp
My little brother showed me this place and I've come here multiple times--I love it! This is a great late-night sushi joint that serves quality fish. The latest time I went, my boyfriend and I ordered the house sake to share, which tasted great with our nigiri. I ordered a variety of skewers including beef, scallop + bacon, and chicken, which all tasted incredibly tender and juicy with flavor. The tuna crudo my boyfriend and I shared was great as well. Out of the variety of nigiri we ordered (unagi, scallops, spicy scallops, snapper, mackerel, foie gras, yellowtail, and yellowtail belly), my favorite was the yellowtail and foie gras. The mackerel was not my favorite - it was a bit rough and very fishy. However, I recognize this is how mackerel tastes. I am just spoiled by Houston's sushi scene that often includes specialized mackerel (marinated, dry-aged, etc.). This mackerel was very fresh and had nothing wrong with it--just a preference on my part. We love how late Yama is open and the service is always amazing. We always feel welcomed and paid attention to when we come. I also enjoy how they have foie gras (one of the main reasons why I come) and the interior is very calming and relaxing to hangout in. We have never had a bad experience here. Overall, we will definitely be returning.

Yelp
We have a small trained service animal. Management refused us entry unless we could provide a "government-issued service animal ID card". There is no such thing. Per both Texas and Federal ADA law, the only appropriate restriction is that we inform the business that she is a trained service animal (NOT "emotional support" animal), and if requested, what medical and support service the animal performs. After 5-starring Yama since 2017, we are very disappointed.

Linda C.

Yelp
If you're disabled and require a service dog, forget about eating here. They do not allow them. They asked for a government ID for the dog stating that it is a service dog. That is not a thing. Per the ADA they have two questions they can ask: is it a service dog? And what tasks does it perform? As a person with a cardiac alert service dog, I will be reporting this business.

Yelp
Still our favorite Japanese Izakaya style restaurant in town! The seafood creamy udon has become my favorite noodle dish here. It's definitely a must-try! The service is always great. They are friendly and helpful with the menu. The vibes in the main dining room is lively and the bar area dining room is more chill and laid back. Love that they are open til 2am for those who want a late night snack. Still patiently waiting for them to add more yakitori items ;)
google avatar

Vivian L.

Yelp
If you get Joshua as a server, prepare for the best service in your life- He's very welcoming and friendly and is always honest about the items on the menu so don't be afraid to ask him about the food options! I cant really rave enough about how comfortable he made the experience. Props to him! :D The ambiance of this location is a lot more cozy. The sizing is very small, but accommodates well. I liked the booth seating :3 The food here has a lot better quality than the other Yama in Plano. I always just get salmon nigiri and some ikura. Overall the experience, food, and service were a 10/10. definitely my go to for a nice sushi dinner!
google avatar

Candy R.

Yelp
There aren't many restaurants that are open late in Frisco or Plano, so I was happy to see this restaurant on Yelp! There's literally only 1 other place with the same hours and they're just ok and overpriced. I've been here twice now and really enjoyed my food. I had a spicy soup and a salad both were really nice, flavorful and seasoned well! My man had the miso soup, he enjoyed it. I love that they have a full bar and serve till 2am. The service is always quick and friendly. The prices are very good and you get a good portion for your money! If you're hungry on a late night definitely come check this spot out!
google avatar

May G.

Yelp
Chicken heart skewers are good. I got seafood creamy udon and it's very fishy! The sauce and shrimp taste fishy. I don't think they use cooking wine. Ramen is average. Katsudon probably their best
google avatar

Kenny I.

Yelp
Walking in this restaurant is nice, calm, and clean. The tempura is well cooked, the salmon dish was delightful, and you could taste all the flavors put into it. The skewers were well cooked as well and had a variety of different meats on each stick. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone especially those who are undecisive and want to get a little taste of everything.
google avatar

Megan Y.

Yelp
My group of friends always loves to visit this location when they're all in town, I just didn't take pictures before. It's a good sushi joint that's open until 2am which is always awesome. When you order nigiris, they kind of just come out at random. This isn't a big deal, I just want a cool picture of the whole assortment when you pick them out. Unless you get the chef's selection plate, that comes out all together. Yama also has really amazing hot dish options, one of my favorites is the eel bowl! My friends ordered the wagyu ishiyaki, which is super buttery/marbleized meat thinly sliced that you cook over a provided hot stone. It can get a bit pricey here if you go crazy!
google avatar

Yelp
Some of you Elites were with me all the way out there in Frisco last night after seeing Magic Mike Live, haha! It was a long drive for us from Arlington and we didn't eat at the show, so we definitely needed a late dinner before the trek home. My friend Allie suggested Yama which was a super short drive from Stonebriar Centre, and we were happy to go. Our hostess and waitress were very kind and we were seated and served pretty quickly. It's a very busy environment and the staff is super efficient. We ordered a few things to share, obviously! We had spicy edamame, shishito peppers, a salmon sashimi special, the "3 of a kind" sushi roll, and chicken + chicken skin yakitori. Everything was truly excellent. The edamame and flash fried shishito peppers were both delicious and pretty spicy. The salmon sashimi was beautiful plated with fresh red tomato slices and a wasabi mayo. The sushi was superb and we needed to order more, for sure! The "3 of a Kind" is a spicy tuna roll wrapped with salmon, snow crab, and avocado. It also had a wasabi mayo, tobiko, and shiso leaf. All of the food and fish was so fresh and colorful and pretty. And our waitress brought me tamari in place of soy sauce! Honestly I could have eaten and should have ordered so many more things. The menu is a bit overwhelming with options, especially the sushi menu. They also have beer and cocktails and tea and melon flavored cream soda. And heated toilet seats. So, I really do hope I find myself nearby one of Yama's 4 Dallas restaurants soon.

Allie K.

Yelp
I tried calling and no one answered the first time so I gave it a couple of minutes and I tried calling again and it was as if someone answered to keep the phone from ringing. I could hear people in the restaurant but when I kept saying hello no one would answer me.
google avatar

Elaine M.

Yelp
Been coming here since they opened and am surprised I have yet to write a review! We love this place! When we have visitors from out of town, we always bring them here! When you want fresh, modern Japanese food, you need to come here. We came for a quick bite to eat before a movie. We ordered sashimi salad, grilled squid, and buta kimchi (braised pork belly). Wow, the flavor was umami and the whole grilled squid, cooked perfectly (too long and it become too chewy and hard to bite). We started with a sashimi salad, very well seasoned and super fresh. One of us got a hot green tea and it was piping hot!

J B.

Yelp
Found this sushi place next to my hotel recently while in Dallas. The sushi was excellent! I sat at the bar and the chef was very friendly and engaging while preparing so many great dishes.
google avatar

Steven M.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in Texas and craving Japanese food, I always visit this place. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend the yakitori and agedashi tofu, which offer a taste just like back in Japan. Additionally, they have a happy hour where beers are priced attractively.
google avatar

Lin L.

Yelp
Used to love this place since they open late and they have good Yakitori. Pretty disappointed when most of the Yakitori menu gone. Only few selection left so I decided not to order any. Order our favorite Sashimi salad, come out too salty. The rest of the food we order is okay. Service is always good here. Our server took good care of us. They do have separate room for big party, so if you have a big party, just reserve the private room in advance.

Jesus M.

Yelp
Server was attentive and Service was good but quality and presentation of the sushi was below average. Opinions will vary of course but Overall I wouldn't come back-you can find other sushi restaurants for same price.
google avatar

Olivia W.

Yelp
I think our server's name was Adam? This time..... I forgot to ask grrr. But he did fantastically serving like 12 people. We went a little crazy and he kept up wonderfully. We came for a birthday in April, and obviously raved to all of our friends about it. So, when out of town friend came to Dallas, he actually specifically requested we go to Yama! Good idea! I had two drinks outside of my green tea (not burnt, which every other restaurant does); a glass of lychee sake and a matcha sour thingy. Both delicious. Not too strong or anything. Others at the table has big old glasses of beer, delicious too (cuz I stole some). I love the spicy sauce you can ask for as a side. It has a hint of Szechuan peppercorn and isn't terribly spicy but packs a lot of flavor. I dumped some on my spicy cucumber dish and it was yuuuummmyyy. EVERYONE enjoyed their meals. I discovered I'm a little picky about my fish as I rarely order chirashi and I also haven't been somewhere with as extensive a menu as Yama, but look at my beautifully presented bowl! Also discovered uni isn't really my thing. Not too much flavor but of course soy sauce fixes that. Still love their natto and umeshiso. I didn't want to be a creep and take photos of my friends' rolls but trust me... they were very well done as well! Do make a reservation. This place gets pretty packed. It's very clean and nicely decorated. (PS... check out the bathroom. Lol. Trust me!)

Victoria Q.

Yelp
Been coming here since 2021. The service here is amazing. They're always really busy, so there's always a small wait but nothing of 15 -20 minutes or less. They're open late night as well. The food is always so good. Fresh sushi, great appetizers and the drinks are always great. Right now they have a special, melon soda, one of my favorites and it was AMAZING.

Nancy S.

Yelp
I visited this place with a neighbor on a Monday and sat at sushi bar. Wow. What an amazing experience! Stellar sushi. Great vibe too! I recommend sitting at the sushi bar and checking out the blackboard specials. Watching the care and love these guys put into the process of making many dishes is amazing. New favorite!

Yelp
I order ramen from here at least three times a month. The food is always excellent. The prices are fair and the quantity and quality are great.

Yelp
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. The staff and I mean everyone was so friendly! It's like everyone is family. Loved that! The service with many smiles was amazing and the food was delicious! The restaurant is very clean, smells good and very comfortable inside. I'm looking forward to returning soon! Thank you so much.

Yelp
Food is constantly great, lot of options on the menu, plus they have a cool bar that plays hip hop... bonus they are open till 2am.

Rena H.

Yelp
Delicious sushi. Fish taste fresh. My go to sushi spot. Udon was extremely delicious as well!

Vaughn P.

Yelp
Wow - a new favorite for "late nights"! Yama closes as 2am living up to its Japanese name "Sake Pub". The Wagyu was so tender and flavorful, the Japanese fried chicken with their spicy sauce was a surprise hit and of course the sushi was delicious. Plus the menu is quite large so we have to go back and try more!

Yelp
YAKITORI/SKEWERS ORDERED - chicken thigh, gizzard, chicken skin, chicken heart , bacon + asparagus, quail eggs + bacon | $2 - chicken thigh + scallion | $2.50 - pork cheek | $3 - scallop + bacon, beef | $4 OTHER ORDERS - takoyaki | $5.95 - grilled squid | $10.50 - negi charshu pork | $8.50 - sundae roll | $13 - hana lychee flavored sake bottle | $28 STAFF the place was packed and it looked like the servers were understaffed, but the service we received was still great. SEATING AREA a TON of seating, two main seating areas, bar seating and private party rooms PARKING large private parking lot for the entire plaza OVERALL skip on the BEEF SKEWER and the GRILLED SQUID. both were overcooked and was very hard to chew. other than that, all of the skewers were sooooo good that our table couldn't choose a favorite. the NEGI CHARSHU PORK was so incredibly crispy and fatty and they give you 4 slices which is great portion control for those who have none (bc same). If you're in the mood for sushi, i recommend the SUNDAE ROLL and the VOLCANO MIX ROLL. overall, i highly recommend this place and you have to come back more than once because the menu has so many things you have to try.

Yelp
This is my husbands and my favorite spot for a dinner date. The wait staff is very kind and usually no wait on week days, but may need to call ahead for a reservation on Friday's and weekends. We get the same thing everytime we come, Katsu Curry, and sub the pork for chicken, an appetizer and many lychee Martinis (they are the best around). My husband and I lived in Okinawa for a year and would go to a place called Cocos weekly, this place is the closest we have found to that style of curry, and rave about it to everyone who have been based there visiting us in Texas. Wonderful spot, great food, great people. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Sunday night sushi roll deals. Great quality and great prices. Nice venue and a solid selection

Yelp
Love this place and the fact that they are open until 2am. Lots of options for adults and kids and been an off the menu sushi stuff. Been coming here for 9 years and we love it

Yelp
Yes an authentic Japanese izakaya, Ramen and Sushi I am so glad they are open until 2am Hard to fine high quality late at night!! My boyfriend has been introducing me to the amazing world of Japanese Cuisine and I am delighted, every time we go he gets me to try something new and something I would never have eaten before meeting him! The food is fresh and authentic (according to my man) who has a lot of experience with the food and culture of Japan. I really think he is ruining me because my tastes seem to be as he says "more refined" But what I thought was good 3 years ago would upset me now! Yama is a regular spot for us now and I look forward and crave it daily Will be going here for the foreseeable future

Yelp
Our dinner was sooooo good! I'll say my top favs were the seafood creamy pasta, the tori mental salad and the caterpillar roll. The blue Tokyo cocktail was so refreshing, light sweet, coconuty! We got two of them! We all loved our drinks! Our friend had the Midori green tea matcha sour and ordered two as well. The margarita was strong yet smooth!! Jamie helped us decide our menu and drinks and she did not lead us astray! Service was amazing!

Yelp
The sushi and entrees were delicious. The service was quick. The space was a little tight but a good family restaurant.
