What an absolute hidden treasure. Yama Q delivers some of the freshest tuna I’ve had in a long time—pure, clean, and unforgettable. Meeting Saneto and sharing a genuine conversation about the shop, fishing, collecting, even roofing, made the experience feel personal and special. He’s the kind of owner who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. I was even lucky enough to meet the fisherman Logan, catcher of the tuna I was happily devouring —an incredible, full-circle moment. Thank you for the warm hospitality, the passion for your craft, and the beautiful family heirloom. This place isn’t just about sushi—it’s about connection, tradition, and doing things the right way.

Ok so this place is really mid. Food is tasteless in my opinion. The service was amazing, the staff is so gentle. The place on the front is nice but it didn’t really get my attention. Please work on the rolls and season them well and I’ll gladly update my review. This is just my personal experience on this restaurant, give it a try maybe you’ll like it!

I’m visiting NYC and Long Island from Texas. My friend recommended this place for sushi. And I have to say, this is the best Spicey Tuna I've had hands down. Yum! The hot Sake was also amazing. Staff and management were friendly and were promptly attentive. I also got in good conversation with some patrons who sat near me suggested I check out some other local businesses.

Ordered over 2K in sushi for an event at my home. Supposed to receive over 1000 pcs of sushi..did not receive what I paid for. Also sushi pieces are supposed be at least 1inch per piece which I was assure by Maki the manager is how it is prepared.It was extremely small and tiny..microscopic So disappointed in what was sent to my event. They skimmed so much on the tuna and salmon the pieces were so tiny and small.... very disappointed in what was sent. Not a reputable business to do catering orders from

Service was great . But the food was Surprisingly “ ok “ . I thought due to the location south hampton sushi would be top notch . Unfortunately , very bland. Service was good .

One of the best spots in the Hamptons. If you love Japanese cuisine you're going to love Yama Q. The menu is a blend of crowd favorites, traditional dishes and creative twists. The Sushi bar is on another level too. Combine unmatched attention to detail with correct proportions, fresh ingredients and a friendly crew and you've got the makings of a great dining experience.

Ordered by txt. Someone then called for credit card. Picked up the food outside on a shelf. It was prepared fast. Vegetarian Summer Roll was refreshing. VEGAN TOFU LASAGNA IS AMAZING! Creamy and comforting, delicious flavor. So good anyone could enjoy it, not only committed vegans.
