"You can find pretty much anything inside Westfield. Mobile phones, jackets, soap from the Dead Sea (and people trying to convince you to buy it), and this Greek deli on the ground floor. It’s just a kiosk, and you can get everything from olives, to baklava, but what you should really be here for is the pastries. They’ve got boreks filled with lamb, cheese, potato, and more. The spinach rose-shaped borek is filled with spinach (duh) and cheese, in thin, flaky layers of pastry. It’s full of flavour, and filling enough that it’ll do well for a quick lunch. You can get it heated, which you most definitely should, and enjoy it for under a fiver knowing it’s one of the best snacks you can get inside Westfield. I am such a foodie and this place has been getting me to come every time I am on my lunch break. Fantastic food, high quality, flavor and passion behind it! Highly recommend if you are sick of shit bland food and want a real taste. Also Nic is fantastic at cooking and I always have a pleasure to talk with him. Supwr fast service, best gyros I think we have had in the UK! The small spicy haloumi one was absolutely amazing and well enough for one meal. The pitta bread these are on absolutely insanely delicious

We did a pretty hefty group order at Yamas Deli and it was absolutely incredible!! The food was so delicious, great portions and incredible flavour. The food was prepared very quickly and on time. Service was great too! Really really recommend. 😊

Having travelled regularly to Greece for over 20 years, and in particular to Crete since 2007, we love our Greek 🇬🇷 street food. However, today was the first that we had sampled food from Yamas Deli. In the past we had feared that it wouldn't live up to expectations so had shied away. As it was such a lovely, warm, spring day in Dumfries today, we headed down Bank Street from the Makers' Market, to order 2 medium mixed pita gyros (chicken and pork). Great portion size, beautifully prepared and cooked with all the authentic ingredients and flavours that we have grown to love. It was such a nice day that we sat at a table outside the takeaway to enjoy our lunch. Not quite as cheap as our usual lunchtime spots in Crete (under 3 euros) but still a treat we thoroughly enjoyed 😋 - and cheaper than a flight to Chania 🙃

The food was so good. That's one thing and the worker there was really kind as I was 50p short and he didn't even complain he needs a raise and again the food was really good. I recommend

Good food decent price cute as heck employee. I'm not from the UK we went to this place on a whim. We ordered 3 Hercules Pita Gyros with halloumi on top it was really good. For my taste I would like a bit more tzatziki. However the meat was juicy and tasty. 10/10 would go again!
