I found this place while searching online for a place to get dinner. I was thinking of ramen and came across this place. The menu looked intriguing so I figured I would try it out. I got the wonton soup and the Singapore noodles with chicken. The wonton soup had dumplings with a thin noodle and a very nice filling. I guess a Japanese spin on wonton soup was the seaweed as well as the scallions in the broth. The Singapore noodles were good as well with plenty of egg and chicken in them. I requested them without the bell pepper and it was served as requested. Just understand that this is not a full service restaurant. You order at the counter and take your drink and a electronic buzzer to your table. When your food is ready it is brought to your table. Additionally you're expected to bus your own table and take your dirty dishes and trash to a station near the door. Overall I really enjoyed my food it was tasty portions were very nice. I will definitely be back to try some other things on their menu especially the ramen since I did not get it at this visit. Prices were reasonable portions were good size therefore a good value. Kind of a hidden gem in the Montfort area. Give them a try!

Google
Great menu selection. Very nice inside with a surprising amount of seating. Service was quick and the food was hot and fresh. Very tasty General Tso chicken and potstickers. Good size portions. Order in line, grab a table finder and server will deliver. Can’t wait to come back and try something else. Parking is limited. Bathrooms clean.

Google
Has been great for dine in and takeout! Dining in, you order at the counter and they bring it to you, quick and easy. Takeout was ready on time, and tasted great at home. Portion sizes are great, will easily get 2+ meals out of my order. The side portion of plain lo mein is the best deal!!

Google
I got the ramen noodle soup and it was very good. Food came extremely fast and hot! I personally don't love bokchoy in ramen but I wanted to give it a chance. Would love to come back and try something different on the menu. I also had the tiger milk tea with boba and it was delicious. Very sweet and perfectly chewy boba.

Google
I am typing as i eat. 😂😂🥰 5 stars and more is what i would have rated. A flight Attendant recommended this place and sang praises about it so i drove almost 30 mins to this place and was not disappointed.I ordered the Pad Thai, its DELICIOUS, the ginger salad followed suit, then i crowned my order by ordering the Bubba tea, choose thai tea with tapioca and passion pop,That drink was consumed before i could even get home and wished i ordered two. This review comes from my heart about my own personal experience. Ihave found my favorite restaurant and will return soon, the drive is worth it. OH and its an Asian woman who prepared the thai tea, so i knew its going to be even great. (Not that others dont know how to prepare it) 🥰🥰🥰 Portion is great, enough left over though ita too delicious to have it left over . I highly recommend this place, i didnt take pics of the food because it was to go n started eating soonest i sat dow. Also its a nice place to go out and meet, chat, its really clean, inviting, calming. lol

Google
Wonton noodle soup with extra pork/shrimp soup dumplings!! That is my order every time and it never disappoints. I typically order takeout and have ordered DoorDash and every time it's perfect! When I was pregnant many days wonton noodle soup was the only thing I wanted to eat! Love this place!!

Food was great and customer service was excellent, guy at front was very helpful, he also helped my mom with her order in Spanish, I was surprised he spoke her language. (He is asian)

Yelp
Oh man, we keep finding Asian spot after Asian spot in Charlotte that are just SO GOOD! Loved YaMe for the quick service, delicious food, and nice prices. Highly recommend the beef chow fun, shrimp fried rice, & sesame chicken. This spot is casual with open seating, great for couples or families. So many options on them menu, I must return to try some different dishes next time. Be back soon!!

Yelp
Was looking for a casual place after a long drive back to town and stumbled upon this place I've been eyeing. We walked in and noticed it was the type of restaurant where you order at the counter first, sit at a table of your liking, and the food will be served to you. There's also a station by the ordering counter with all the drinks, utensils, takeout items, etc. that you would need and an area to put all of the dishes and trash away which makes it pretty efficient. We first noticed how quickly everything came and was impressed by that since it was all very good quality. For our apps, we got the wonton soup and crab rangoons (not pictured because it was too good) which were both amazing. For the main dish, we got the shrimp fried rice and teriyaki chicken noodle. The shrimp fried rice was pretty big which made for ample leftovers but the dish itself was very tasty. My boyfriend got the teriyaki chicken noodles which he loved but said he wished there were more noodles. For drinks, we both got the taro milk tea with boba and I was shocked to see that I didn't like it that much. The boba had an interesting texture to it and the milk tea was a bit too sweet. Overall, I would definitely come to this place again if I'm looking for a more casual place to eat and would love to try other things on the menu, but would probably skip out on the boba.

Yelp
Stopped in for a super-late lunch to try their Curry Noodle...and it did not disappoint! Tasty broth, with plenty of veggies and a generous load of shrimp and chicken. Again, I loved their super-thin-n-crispy Scallion Pancake. Seriously, the best Scallion Pancake in Charlotte...as far as I'm concerned. As always, the service is excellent...and the foods come out quickly. Unlike most restaurants in Charlotte nowadays, where everything is overpriced and underserved, you'll never leave here feeling ripped. At least everything I've tried to date has been right on point...and so value-packed!

Yelp
Ambience was great and very casual. I could see myself bringing a few friends for a nice relaxed dinner. Service was absolutely excellent they were very nice and food came out fast The food was very mediocre, I got the chicken teriyaki noodles and it wasn't great but it wasn't bad. I also got the taro boba and it was not the best boba whatsoeve

Yelp
Excellent food.kind staff. Peaceful enviornment. Sesame chicken and scallion pancakes are the way to go!

Yelp
This place is always on. It's order at the front and they bring your food to the table. I've had several dishes, all great. This time, traditional ramen Ready to bowl.

Yelp
Order: scallion pancakes and classic milk tea with rainbow jellies. I stumbled upon Yame Noodles yelping nearby boba places to the bowling alley I was bowling at. After exploring their menu, scallion pancakes caught my eye. I've seen this before on Instagram and never thought to try it until I saw it on their menu. I would describe it as a super thin omelette/crepe made with a flour mixture and scallions. I was hesitant to order it as first because I was afraid it wouldn't be crispy since I ordered it to-go. However that was not the case. The pancakes were still very crispy and light. Paired great with the vinaigrette soy sauce. The boba was delicious too! Excited to return to try other menu items.

Yelp
Got off the plane and for some reason I want some beef noddle soup. YaMe is sort of close so I give it a try . Yes, it is exactly meeting my expectation once I toke the first bit. Heavy broth, a little spicy, noodles have some chew to it. Whole bowl is nicely decorated. I forgot to take pictures of dumplings and stuff, but they were good too. Does not taste like the ones from supermarket. I just come here for the noddle, because other stir fry or teriyaki chickens ok, kinda mid. Nothing special. You order your food up front, they will give you a pager system to put on special spot on the table and they will bring food to you. Pretty cool concept.
google avatar

Carol R.

Yelp
Gave Yame another try and found it to be better. The basil chicken is a nice stir fry option. The description says spicy but it's not. Wish it was though. The soup dumplings were pretty good too. Nothing is going to blow you away but the food is solid, especially for the price. Easy online ordering and pickup.

Yelp
Good for the price ! Pad Thai was tasty and filling. Everything came out hot and fresh and fast. Place is nice inside
google avatar

Andrew K.

Yelp
The soup dumplings were delicious- they came out quickly and steaming hot with such a flavorful broth within them. Their spring rolls were also fresh and flavorful. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and the cashier was very pleasant. Thanks YaMe, I'll be back!

Yelp
Honestly everything we got was so delicious! The lo mein was my favorite, haven't had good lo mein like this in years! My kids even enjoyed the food as well and they're really picky. Workers are very nice and it's clean and comfortable to dine in. Highly recommend if it wasn't so far from me, I'd be here every week!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice place for quick Thai. Friendly service as soon as you walk in. The food came out quickly on lovely dishes. I got red curry with chicken. The sauce had a pleasant kick to it and some sweetness. The vegetables were chunky and crunchy. Hate when they're cooked to disintegration. I could have just used about half the sauce tho. My companion said his green curry with shrimp had some kick to it and was quite flavorful. We weren't too keen on the spring rolls, but the large entree portions were great for the price point (around $32). Tip: Pay with cash as get 5% off your total!

Yelp
Really good noodle spot! The flavor was great and the service was fast with plenty of seating options. Wanted to try everything on the menu, but just means I'm going to have to go back! One of the better Asian restaurants I've been to in Charlotte.
google avatar

Shu Ju Y.

Yelp
The food was good but the price was not what I expected it to be. I ordered the salad, soup dumplings and the pork buns. The soup dumplings were real delicious, the salad had really flavorful robust Asian ginger dressing. The pork buns were just average based on the meat was not as flavorful as some traditional Asian buns. The ambiance was very low volume and enjoyable. The service was super quick and efficient. I would say I received my food in less than 15 minutes. This was average based on the items I ordered. Soup dumpling is highly recommended. The price is above higher than normal for the three items I chose to order.
google avatar

Yelp
YaMe is a great casual Asian restaurant for a good meal. You order when you arrive and then sit down. Plenty of options including ramen, noodles, rice, chicken dishes, etc. The soup dumplings were very good! We also enjoyed the Lo Mein and Chicken Fried Rice. I got a side of Lo Mein for $5 and it was massive! The chicken fried rice was large as well. I look forward to returning to YaMe to try more dishes.

Yelp
Food was pretty descent Dumplings were yummy Will return to try other noodles and dumplings

Yelp
As always the food was fresh, hot and ready for me when I picked it up. I always get the shrimp lo mean with beef. Of all the lo mein meals I have ordered at other places, you guys are by far my favorite spot to go to for lo mein. I go to different Asian spots for certain foods that I like. Please continue to keep up the good work. The vibe is nice on the inside. That was my second time ever picking up my order because I always sit in person to eat. Friendly staff, wait time is pretty good and they are consistent when it comes to checking on their customers. I thank you

Yelp
Quick service. The food, however, can be way too salty. Also, too many little flies, especially by the windows.

Yelp
This is my second visit to YaMe. The location has plenty of parking in front and back. The restaurant is super cute, modern, and simple. I came around lunch time on Friday and it was steady. I did take my food to go, but there was a good amount of seating still available. For starters, I ordered the Pan Fried Buns. They were nice and spongy and the dipping sauce is what makes them. The Pad Thai was good, but much more orange than I am used to. I thought the flavor was good and the serving size was plentiful. I also ordered the Lo Mein with tofu. The flavor was good and I enjoyed the nice variety of veggies. Overall, YaMe is a great place for a tasty bite.
google avatar

Alaina R.

Yelp
A friend of mine brought me here, when I was in town. The menu was of plenty, and the staff was very nice. Asked questions about the food to make sure they made it correctly. The inside was really cute, and modern. We sat on the patio, and there weren't any issues with bugs, or unclean tables. Definitely will be back

Yelp
Amazing food. Have been 4x and yet to find something I don't like. Very nice employees as well.

Yelp
What a lovely spot! Love the interior of this place and friendly smiles of the staff. Menu is easy to read and ordering is a breeze. Hardly any wait before the food is served to your table. I had to order two entrees just because. The Curry Noodle soup came in a ginormous bowl. You can easily share this but I smashed it! So delicious. Plenty of veggies and the rice noodle is al dente. The soup reminds me of 'laksa'. Thumbs up! The Beef Chow Fun came next and it did not fail. (See pic) The wok 'hei' is there and the taste is so comforting. I packed most of it home and had it for dinner the next night. Texture and taste was still great after warming it up. Stop by and give 'em a try! CLT GEM Went back 3 days later and had the Beef Noodle Soup...my fav so far!

Yelp
Adorable new interior with plenty of space. It's casual- order at the counter and they bring you your food. Everything was fresh and fairly quick. We tried the Singapore noodle. It wasn't the best but it was decent for the price. Wouldn't get it again but do plan to come back for other dishes.

Yelp
Everything at Yame Asian Noodles is excellent, their food is always fresh the establishment is clean and they are always friendly as soon as you walk in and if you pay cash you get a discount LOVE IT!

Yelp
10/10 this place is the real deal. It's also in a really cute part of town. The food is delicious on average, no worries about hit or misses. The staff is super friendly.

Yelp
The food was delicious! Everything came out quickly. We got the pad thai, chicken lo mein, and scallion pancakes. The place was clean and the decorations were pretty. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Impromptu visit while waiting for a nearby dr appt. Very pleasent atmosphere, friendly staff and easily readable order-at-the-counter menu. Lots of tasty choices, we went with an assortment of appetizers, potstickers, buns and chicken skewers. It was all delicious! Skewers were hot off the grill and potstickers were perfectly pan seared and crispy. The buns were my favorite! Ideal balance of bun and filling, yummy seasonings and just-right temp for eating. We don't live in the area but they're not too far away from 77 so we'll definitely be revisiting them in the future as there's plenty of other things on the menu that we want to try.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here with my best friend on a Friday night. I first noticed that business was steady, but they handled it efficiently. Though lots of people were seated, no one was in line. The ambiance is casual and feels like standard Boba shop decor but with much more seating. We both ordered the Jin Jin noodles--one pork and one beef--the passion fruit boba and the pork buns. Everything came out promptly and was fresh. The noodles were a significant portion, but I wish they had more flavor depth. The pork buns were delicious. Simple but solid. The boba was also delicious. The right amount of sweetness and perfectly textured boba. We sat in and chatted until just before they closed, and the staff were patient and attentive. We had a wonderful experience and would return.

Yelp
The food comes out too fast! Yes that's my only legitimate gripe. It's an odd one, but I wanted to get it out of the way early so I could say how much I liked this place. By the time I snagged a patio seat, less than five minutes later the food was being brought out. It maybe me thinking how freshly prepared was it, or something along those lines. But anyway... The food was delicious! I ordered a trio off goodness, crab rangoon, chicken odon, and lettuce wraps. The crab rangoon looked amazing, the golden finish wasn't just astetics either. The crunch from each bite was always there, with that light airiness you are looking for. The wraps reminded me of most places, think PF Chang. A little on the salty side, but still a hit. Lastly the udon noodles is what I came for, and it did not disappoint. The noodles weren't too greasy or sticky. The texture was perfect, the flavor with the stir fry veggies and chicken were the perfect compliment. Service was standard, and that's honestly all I need. It's a very self service laid back restaurant. You can pick up your own food, and seat yourself. You clean up, and buss your own dishes. It really works for me, so when the cashier greets you with a smile and says have a nice day...mission accomplished. Pro tip: This location is at park road shopping center, so you have one of Charlotte's best neighborhoods and more boutique shops all around you. So after you stuff you face, do it again at Suarez's Bakery and then take a nature walk. Just park on little Sugar Creek Greenway behind the taco bell, the trail goes the scenic neighborhood route to Freedom Park. Any of the locals will be happy to tell you if you happen to get lost.
google avatar

Nick G.

Yelp
Based off their take out: Pad Thai was burnt, minimal flavor in edamame and soup dumplings.
google avatar

Johnny Z.

Yelp
So glad we stopped here for lunch! Order first when you enter and the food will be brought out when ready. It's a straight-forward menu broken down by small bites, noodle soup bowls, stir fry, curry, and others. We got the yame beef noodle soup, yaki udon, and rice string beans. They definitely did not skimp out on the portion sizes as the all dishes were more than generous. The flavor on the string beans was spot on! And they filled the noodle soup with a lot of beef! Not just the lean slices, but ones with tendon sprinkled in. So good! Needless to say we ended up with some left-overs for another time ha. Oh the interior was really clean and the tables were spaced out so you didn't feel cramped. Will definitely come back next time we're in the area.
google avatar

Rosa R.

Yelp
Came for dinner with my friend. I ordered Dan Dan Noodles, and my friend ordered the Korean Curry. He got his extra spicy. The service was great. The boy at the register was very friendly. The dining area was very nice and relaxing. The food was amazing and I really enjoyed the Dan Dan noodles. Most definitely will be returning to thus restaurant. Go check them out!

Yelp
How have I missed this place for soo long!!! For my small bites I ordered: Shanghai Soup Dumplings ($7.00). Four dumplings come in an order. Also ordered Yame Beef Noodle Soup ($15.00) and a large thai tea ($5.75). This was probably one of the best thai teas I've had in Charlotte. The broth in the noodle soup was delicious, plenty of beef as well which was tender. Thoroughly enjoyed everything and can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Latavia C.

Yelp
A+ Service, Food, & Quality! Crystal was very friendly to us while we took our time going through the menu and asking questions at the same time. She sold me with two items, the Shanghai soup dumpling and bubble tea. Them soup dumpling where like magic, a soft bite with a splash of soup, and a well season piece of pork. I had the Jing Jing Noodles with chicken it was yummy, and the veggies were cut perfect. You would have thought I ate inside of the restaurant because my food was packaged for presentation. My husband had the curry noodle soup. I can't wait to go back

Yelp
A-m-a-z-i-n-g. Period. I had never heard of this place but I was looking for new places to try for my birthday. I saw the menu and other reviews and I wanted to try it. Since then (less than a week so far), I've been there two more times. Here is the deal. This is quality hostess seats you, then you order type of food. But this is not a seat then order with wait staff to take your order at the table. This is a come in order, get a buzzer, napkins, utensils and drink and your condiments and seat yourself, your food will be out shortly kind of place. It doesn't match up, but with staff shortages, COVID still existing and new ways of doing business... who am I to question???? The place is very clean, simply decorated but nice. They actually clean, sanitize and disinfect the tables after each use. You have to put up your own dishes when you finish (I did not catch that the first time) but I caught it on the other visits (so sorry!!!) The menu is varied, tastefully selected and is something for every tastebud. So we tried a whole lot. My first visit I tried the curry noodle soup. Great dish. Not overwhelmingly spicy but had a little kick and lots of veggies. Huge portion. Don't expect regular curry with this dish, it's different, it's lighter, comes with noodles and lots of vegetables. My neice got the beef noodle soup. Again huge portion but it was so good, she ate it all. On this trip, we got the Basil chicken, Pad Thai, the dumplings and the steamed buns, lettuce wraps. It was all VERY VERY delicious! Not overly salty or overly seasoned. The Thai dishes tasted like Thai dishes. The Chinese dishes tasted like Chinese dishes. The dishes are all made to its original origin and were cooked just right. The prices are fair. I somehow spent $50 for lunch but that's because we literally ordered almost EVERYTHING. This place is one of my new favorites! The parking is tight, I suggest parking on the side of the building and going during off peak hours. Whenever you go, it's worth it... I may even see you!
google avatar

Melody McCord S.

Yelp
The food, the service, and the cute yet laid back environment were an entire vibe. Loved that the food is fresh and cooked to order.

Deborah M.

Yelp
I tried some of the vegetarian noodles on their menu and they were delicious. The employees were friendly too and the restaurant was clean and cute.

Yelp
This dish was phenomenal and I'm not exaggerating. I don't really have anything else to say lol. Just go get it! The restaurant itself was nicely setup and decorated. I enjoyed my quick lunch break.
google avatar

Yelp
I will definitely be back to dine in and definitely try more tasty items. I stopped today to pick up my To-go lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing service! I got the soup dumplings with chili oil and crab rangoons. The soup dumplings had the best flavor and the crab rangoons had the freshest taste! Plus they keep you up to date by text with the status of your order. Man they are quick for it to be lunch hour. My order was hot and ready as soon as I walked in! Excited to have this place within walking distance from work!

Yelp
I was really craving some pad thai & YaMe quickly caught my attention. I'm not sure what I was expecting after a 2-second Yelp look-through, but coming in I was happy with the result. My first observations were that the interior is VERY well-decorated & that the shop smelled absolutely amazing. That alone set the tone for the upcoming experience very well. The staff was quick, helpful, kind, & efficient; even though there were quite a few groups ahead in line when we arrived, it moved very quickly. I, of course, ordered the pad thai, which was honestly one of the best I've ever had. I don't know how they make sure that every dish not only tastes but also smells exquisite!!. (The only thing that threw me off was that the peanuts were on the side, but that's really not something to mind) I honestly don't remember which tea I tried, but with the way that one tasted, I'm sure the other ones will be just as amazing. I have already introduced some of my friends & family to YaMe & I cannot wait to be back soon!! Thank you YaMe + staff!

Yelp
We were visiting the area and saw really good ratings for this noodle place that definitely lived up to the rating. I had the red curry which seriously hit the spot - so flavorful and lots of vegetables that made it so fresh. My husband got the curry noodle bowl and absolutely raved about it - super flavorful too and one of the best he says he has ever had, even compared to food in Asia. The servers were quick and very helpful, and it's a nice, clean modern space with large windows that let in lots of light. It is just so perfect for a chill lunch on a rainy day. They have many different types of milk tea available too. Highly recommend!

Matthew L.

Yelp
It was so good. Might be one of my go to's now for Asian restaurants in Charlotte. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Service was really nice too.

Yelp
This place is awesome I've never been to such a fast Asian restaurant. They definitely are the most efficient restaurant I've ever been to and I've been everywhere. They have a great free boba deal and i got a lychee green tea and paid the extra 50¢ for rainbow jelly because it wouldn't be good with boba. Super cute modern decor and lots of space for seating. Staff is helpful, kind and informative. I hope this business stays around for a long time it seems like it's a big favorite there were a good amount of people already eating and the parking lot was full so we circled back around til we got a spot. I came super hungry and they did not disappoint. I had enough time to sit for a minute and get a water before the food came out and the portion size was enough for me but may have been a little smidge small for others. It's been awhile since I've been so impressed by a restaurant. Makes me wonder why all restaurants can't be this efficient and well thought out. The food wasn't extremely mind blowing but did the job well and I am satisfied. I had a great experience here and we'll definitely be returning. I would've liked more topping in the ramen other than just bokchoy and char siu for the $14 price tag but it's no problem because I got a free boba with my $25+ purchase. The shrimp udon noodle soup was not that yummy in my opinion but I didn't order it so it's fine. Pretty clear shrimp broth simple but fine. The curry ramen was also not my favorite but my brother liked it and the broth is similar to Vietnamese bun bo hue with a lot more lemongrass curry flavor. Singapore on noodles were great just like how they should taste. Tofu was a little bland in it but no problem to balance the saltier sauce. The beef noodle soup was good kinda pho flavor but a lot more stronger flavors. I don't think I would order it myself but my preferences are different.

Yelp
My 12 year old daughter LOVES ramen and bubble tea. . This was our 1st time at the restaurant & we LOVED IT!!! The food was hot, fresh and vey flavorful. The prices were really reasonable as well. The staff were super friendly and helped guide us through the menu to make the best choices for dinner. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was there to help with any questions or service with our food. We will definitely be back and will continue to be returning customers.

Yelp
This was awesome. We really enjoyed the noodles and variety for our vegetarian daughter. Top notch, we will be back next time we are in Charlotte.

Yelp
i was really craving some beef noodle soup so had to come to YaMe. growing up eating delicious homemade beef noodle soup, i have a higher standard for them. the one at YaMe is pretty good!! the noodles they use aren't the ones you normally would use for this dish but surprisingly works very well. their broth is good but a bit more on the heavier side. tons of beef chunks and bok choy given! it's a self serve place. so after you order your food, you grab your own utensils and find a seat to sit. they then bring out your food to you. clean place, great food, would def be back!
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
We ordered chicken skewers (my favorite on the menu), scallion cakes (pretty decent, but it gets a bit too much after two pieces), curry noodle soup (my second favourite on the menu, very juicy and tender chicken, and nice tasting shrimps plus pretty flavorful noodles and veggies), the string beans and the spicy chicken is a bit too sweet for my taste, as I expected only spicy and salty flavor, so probably won't be ordering these again. Good ambiance and food came out pretty fast. I don't really like the fact that it's self serving but their payment system still defaults you to pay for tips at the time of ordering... I mean they do bring the food out, but that's about it...
