Yelp
A-m-a-z-i-n-g. Period. I had never heard of this place but I was looking for new places to try for my birthday. I saw the menu and other reviews and I wanted to try it. Since then (less than a week so far), I've been there two more times.
Here is the deal. This is quality hostess seats you, then you order type of food. But this is not a seat then order with wait staff to take your order at the table. This is a come in order, get a buzzer, napkins, utensils and drink and your condiments and seat yourself, your food will be out shortly kind of place. It doesn't match up, but with staff shortages, COVID still existing and new ways of doing business... who am I to question????
The place is very clean, simply decorated but nice. They actually clean, sanitize and disinfect the tables after each use. You have to put up your own dishes when you finish (I did not catch that the first time) but I caught it on the other visits (so sorry!!!)
The menu is varied, tastefully selected and is something for every tastebud. So we tried a whole lot.
My first visit I tried the curry noodle soup. Great dish. Not overwhelmingly spicy but had a little kick and lots of veggies. Huge portion. Don't expect regular curry with this dish, it's different, it's lighter, comes with noodles and lots of vegetables. My neice got the beef noodle soup. Again huge portion but it was so good, she ate it all.
On this trip, we got the Basil chicken, Pad Thai, the dumplings and the steamed buns, lettuce wraps. It was all VERY VERY delicious! Not overly salty or overly seasoned. The Thai dishes tasted like Thai dishes. The Chinese dishes tasted like Chinese dishes. The dishes are all made to its original origin and were cooked just right.
The prices are fair. I somehow spent $50 for lunch but that's because we literally ordered almost EVERYTHING.
This place is one of my new favorites! The parking is tight, I suggest parking on the side of the building and going during off peak hours. Whenever you go, it's worth it... I may even see you!
