Yang Bao Bao

traditional Taiwanese breakfast/brunch style cuisine. Steamed and grilled dumplings. Delicious soup and crispy beef egg roll pancakes. Side dishes were delicious too.

Wasn't too easy to get there from the southern part of the city but definitely worth the trip. There was quite a queue when I got there but I didn't have to wait for much more than 5 minutes. I ordered a soup, dumplings and a roll. The soup and the dumplings were served super quick, the roll arrived when I had finished. Absolutely loved the dumplings, texture was on point, meat was tasty and the soup inside was fantastic. I also recommend trying the roll, loved every bite of it. I'm not much of a soup eater but I wanted to try their soup anyway and it was just as satisfying. Service was quick, very friendly, place is clean, food is good - will definitely remember the place.

If you are ever in Kaohsiung, Yang Bao Bao is a great place to eat. Whether dine in or take out, you won't be disappointed! Definitely recommend the onion pancakes, corn soup, and, of course, the dumplings. (Also, the vegetables are super delicious 😋 )

Great place which serves authentic local dumplings, biscuit and spicy sour soup! There are many small dishes which you can pick from the side bar. All the dishes are great but i feel that the beef dumping and biscuit came with a beefy smell.

Perfect dishes, vibe and service. You could not take reservation first, but it wouldn't take so long for waiting. Totally worth it!! It's hard to find spot to park, but they do have parking lot for clients!

Beef roll is their specialty. Pan-fried dumplings come with chewy wraps yet less greasy than most of those one usually finds at most of the other diners. The dining space is devised into different rooms where the tables are cramped with chairs. A bit restrained I would say. As for the service, waitresses there have an attitude. They might hush you off once you finish all the food on he table. So keep one dish or two unfinished on table so that you could possible have a chat with your family or friends.

I love their beef roll and beef soup. All of their dumplings are also delicious. Come early before rush hours otherwise you'll be waiting in the que for some time.

Must visit place for all sorts of dumplings in Kaohsiung. Always busy but the staff is efficient and air con is operational!
