I ordered the baked chicken pesto pita pizza and it was absolutely delicious! And the server treated us to a budino! It was so good. The dark chocolate was thick and strong so be sure to portion the chocolate with the custard and whipped cream, the strawberry pairs so well with it. Great service and an enjoyable quiet lunch atmosphere on the patio.

We went to Yanni's for a birthday celebration. They were able to seat our group of 6 fairly quickly. They have a children's menu for the kids. Food options were varied & there were many healthy options. For dessert, they gave the birthday girl a choice of a chocolate dessert or tiramisu. We order the other, and both were tasty.

For take out do not expect a sense of urgency. Not sure how they notify the front that the order is ready. Waited 20 minutes for one item. Suggest ordering ahead of time. Nothing like wanting to grab something fast to watch the food tricking out and poor communication and checking in your order.

6/13/25 First time here, but not the last time. My friends and I ordered the lunch special because it was more affordable. I ordered the Mykonos chicken on bread with the soup of the day, mushroom soup. My friend had the Chicken Souvlaki and liked that as well. Our waiter was very attentive and brought us bread with oil and delicious red wine vinegar. I got a Yanni Mai Tai drink, which was pretty, although next time I'll try something new. I like how they have water in the table in a silver holder. We each took half the sandwich home.

This restaurant has been a staple in the community for years! Yanni’s offers top quality food, service, and dining experience. Huge recently renovated patio is covered and very comfortable - we had two and a dog and had no issue with wind or sun. My family has been enjoying birthdays and celebrations of all sorts here and never have we been disappointed. Yanni’s is always very clean, offers free bread and their parking lot is large. Favorites here include the Mussels appetizer, Ravioli, Lamb Skewer, and for vegetarians, tons of salad options and their Vegetable Risotto is divine! Do not miss the chocolate budino dessert I dream about it often, and have a glass or bottle of wine from their extensive menu. Yanni’s is an awesome restaurant and we will continue to enjoy their food and drinks for years to come! **Most dishes are heavy on the garlic (and I’m not exaggerating) so I advise anyone who is not a fan to request no garlic - especially if you have a meeting or something after, you’ll be happy you asked for no garlic *

We are beyond grateful for the incredible event hosted at Yanni’s in December 2024! From start to finish, everything was perfect and truly unforgettable. Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing the evening was. The team at Yanni’s made everything so seamless and stress-free, and their attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism far exceeded our expectations. We were especially impressed by how flexible they were in accommodating our request for a fully vegan menu. The effort they put into creating a delicious, entirely vegan spread was outstanding, and everyone raved about how amazing the food was—many couldn’t believe it was all plant-based! The special dessert was the icing on the cake—absolutely one of the best I’ve ever had and a perfect way to end the evening. It was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. We’re already looking forward to hosting more events at Yanni’s in the future. Thank you for making this celebration a dream come true!

The food was delicious. Everyone in my group loved their meal. Waiters were attentive, plenty of parking, the outdoor seating has room for improvement. Otherwise, pleasant restaurant.

Sat on the heated patio which was lit with fairy lights. Very nice dinner. Wine list was extensive and dessert was perfect for sharing. Service was great - would definitely recommend

Still one of our favorite places to dine. We have 2 visits to post here as I didn't have time to prior to this. Dog friendly, really nice and clean outdoor dining, best service and the best food. You're served fresh bread with balsamic & oil which we appreciate while placing your orders. 1. Went there with 2 friends who we've been there before with many times. I tried the hibiscus margarita and it's good. My wife loves the raspberry lemon drop martini. And our friend loves their regular margarita. We got the salad special they were offering, which was much like their Spring Mix Salad with strawberries which made it even better. And they have the best vinnergaric dressings. My wife got her fav, which she gets everytime, Ravioli Romano and loved it. I tried the Chicken Skewer. The chicken was a little dry, but all the things served with it, gave it lots of flavor. I got the cafe mocha coffee for dessert, and it's good. My wife got the Burdino again because she really likes it. 2. Had my son and daughter-in-law meet us here. They've never been here and loved it and will be back too. I had to get Lamb Cannelloni again because it's so good. I recommened the Chicken Lasagna to them and my son got it and really liked it. His wife really liked the Linguine Pesto which I've been meaning to try. Next time I will. She really liked the raspberry lemon drop too and they both liked the double Burdino my wife recommended to them. Love this place!

We did a catered rehearsal dinner at Yannis for 25 people. The process to book was mid. They never responded to my emails so I went in person to the restaurant to ask if they had availability. I finally was able to obtain a reservation. They have a set menu that is either served family style or buffet. I picked family style - MISTAKE. They separated the tables into tables of 8 and brought one of each dish out for the tables to share. It wasn't nearby enough food. One plate of pasta for 8 people was ridiculous. The food was good, but just not enough. Our guests were asking other tables if they had extra food. Pretty ridiculous. The drink service was good at first, but then we waited 30 minutes for water. For the money we paid, I feel we were ripped off. We would have been better off ordering from the menu and everyone getting what they wanted. I would not ever do a catered event there again.

Came here twice for dinner since it is 2 mins walk from hotel. The service is good, welcomed right away when arrived. And the in-house freshly baked bread is delicious. It has Mediterranean and Italian food here, I tried salmon dish and seafood pasta. For salmon plate, the grilled salmon is fresh, really liked vegetables on the plate, it is cooked just right with the taste of freshness. The only thing I dislike is the saffron rice -- tasted a little raw to me. For the seafood pasta, the seafood is flavorful but not much highlights. The bruschetta with smoke salmon and caviar, besides pricey $8 each, no complaints. The restaurant has great atmosphere for special occasions, family and friends gathering. It has plenty inside and garden like outside seatings. The drink menu has impressive collections.

Yanni's is delicious. We went there for lunch on a friend's recommendation. They have a spacious outdoor patio that has a running fountain and relaxing ambiance. The service was excellent and our order arrived quickly. We were offered complimentary bread with olive oil and balsalmic while we waited. I ordered the souvlaki chicken sandwich with garlic fries and chose pita (vs baguette) for my bread. Everything tasted fresh and the chicken was tender. The taziki sauce was on point. My only suggestion would have been to warm the pita bread. The bread was oddly cold while the sandwich was warm so it was noticeable. I didn't do my research first so I ordered blindly. Not sure I would get the pita again, however I will definitely return and try one of their pastas or entrees. Note, the prices are high, but the portions are generous, excellent service, and overall it's a quality meal.

Great food and service Yanni's is our go to for our family get togethers. The staff is amazing.

The restaurant has a beautiful renovated, spacious outdoor covered patio with elegant seating and high end warmers. It's gorgeous and welcoming. The service is always very professional and knowledgeable on the menu. We love their Yanni's martini for a clean refreshing but strong drink. The garnish of cherry tomato, cheese and olives is outstanding. We absolutely especially love their pastas and salads here but everything here is simply perfection. This locally owned restaurant has been so consistently fabulous for the over 18 years we have been coming. It never disappoints!

Met a friend here for an early dinner, and my lamb burger was delicious! I would love to come back and try more of the entrees as there are a fair number of lamb dishes on the menu. Yum!

Yannis and I have both been in the Poway area for decades yet I went for the first time yesterday! Not sure why it took me so long. We ate on the heated patio on a chilly Friday evening. I had the corfu sandwich on pita bread. Delicious roasted veggies and goat cheese in a Greek pita. The goat cheese was in large chunks making some bites overwhelming tangy and others missing it completely. Kind of messy to distribute it around. Side salad had a nice vinaigrette but needed some contrast like black pepper. No salt and pepper on the table, waiter never came by after serving to check in so I didn't ask. My wife had the smoked salmon pita. It's a Greek pita with a mild horseradish cream cheese spread, smoked salmon, capers and avocado served up like a pizza. Quite tasty, I really liked the cream cheese. We also got a side of spinach which was nice and garlicky and lemony. The dinner menu is quite expansive, will definitely be back to try some other dishes. Drink menu is quite expansive with beer, wine, and cocktails. Prices are kind of high for drinks. $9-10 for a pint of craft beer, $15 for most cocktails.

I came here for dinner recently with my husband. We sat in the covered patio, which was very pleasant. The ceiling heater was lovely. Our server knew the menu well and answered all of our questions thoroughly. On to the food! On a whim I ordered the bouillabaisse. So delicious! And full of a variety of quality seafood. Cooked to the correct consistency (no chewy seafood here!). Balanced flavor, including the fresh basil topping. I will have this again. I had a delicious port afterwards, and ended up enjoying some of my husband's chocolate budino dessert...our first time savoring the most decadent of puddings! You have to have this! Made in-house. It was a lovely meal and overall experience. I'm so looking forward to going back.

Yanni's is a local gem with delicious food and personal service. Grabbing last minute reservations on a Friday night, we were able to snag a table for 4 without a problem. The menu is extensive. At a quick glance it could be a bit intimidating but our server more than happy to explain all the dishes and recommended drinks. I decided to to keep it simple and got a Negroni with Hendricks. For food, I got the Linguine Mussels. Simple. Delicious. No frills. The Negroni was bitter in just the right way and the linguine was FULL of mussels and flavor. Yanni's cuts straight to the point giving almost a family vibe. If you want a heartwarming meal--stop by.

Paid by card. Yanni's is located across from Shell gas and Chili's and offers a lot of plaza parking. There is a lot of indoor and outdoor seating available. I went here on a Sunday evening for dinner and it was packed but I was able to be seated right away with a group of 8. This restaurant is beautiful, inside and out, with great decor and lighting. Everything we ordered was delicious as well. The servers were also very polite and checked on us frequently. I would definitely recommend the chocolate budino for dessert. The scallops were good but the sauce was a little more tangy than expected; still good though. I would definitely recommend this place and would go back again.

The owner, Yanni, is a great supporter of the neighborhood and has created a very nice restaurant with a friendly staff. A lot of locals come to this restaurant for lunch and dinner. Food and service are always good. They have their own wine labels which are ok and more affordable.

Came here for a lunch with some coworkers and it was a great experience. We were seated right away and the service was wonderful. The servers were fast and we got our food and drinks quickly. Drinks were even refilled often. They have an extensive menu with many options and we were very pleased with our meal. The ambiance of this place is great! It would even be a good place for a date night.

We loved being within walking distance to this restaurant as we're staying at the Marriott's Residence Inn next door. We saw the fantastic Greek/Italian food ratings so of course we went. I got the the Arancini appetizer for us so perfect! Marinara mozzarella parm & meatball bliss! Judy wanted the popular Lamb Cannelloni she saw on Yelp reviews and loved it. Great leftovers we took back to the hotel and finished later. I was torn, the Seafood Bouillabaisse or the Lamb Burger? Hmmm?! I chose the Bouillabaisse! Judy proceeded to take over my dish and I hers! It's cool baby we've been married 30 years LOL! Desert, I asked our waiter, what's the best desert? He said the Homemade Chocolate Budino! DONE! Tiramisu was his 2nd choice. Being out of town we went for #1 and it was a super dense chocolate pudding AND IT WAS DECADENT! Just Do It! Later in the week we just had to order their Calamari app to go that I just strolled over from our hotel and grabbed ... YES it was perfect too! Desert Time!

Delicious! This was our 2nd time back! I tried the Lamb Cannelloni this time, if you like cheesy marinara sauce, try out this dish. The small hummus is plenty for 2 people and you can always ask for more pita. The tiramisu was fluffy and creamy! A little too sweet for my preference though. Overall great experience here, they have plenty of seating and the decor is nice and warm, but it can get really busy so it's recommended to make a reservation! Parking is also pretty easy.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Tucked away in small strip mall off the 15, I didn't expect it to be so good! I've never had greek food outside of something like Daphnes or Panini Kebab, and let me just say this lamb kebab plate was amazing. Perfect char and lots of subtle spices and flavors in the rest - it was just perfect! Sat in the outdoor patio area and was there at a random time between lunch and dinner so our server had plenty of time to wait on us was very nice and chill. They also have Italian which I'd love to try next time.

First time visiting Yanni's after seeing the good reviews on Yelp. Exactly like other reviews, the dishes we ordered were delicious and served fast. The service was great too. It's a great place for big family dinner and special occasions.

Never been here before, so it was a first. However, I thought it was pretty good. I had the sea scallops and bruschetta dishes. Would def get again. Service was good, ambiance seems nice. Really good selection on alcohol, repeat visit in the future for sure.

Let's begin with the Neopolitan Bruschetta, a fresh, light, taste explosion that is out of this world. The combination of the tomatoes, basil, and seasonings...just wow. Must try for anyone seeking a delightful app The fried calamari Misto? Oh my sea! Crispy, tender, and served with two dipping sauces that made for an irresistible oceanic delight. The Mediterranean salad with lamb skewers was out of this world! Honestly, we could've have made a meal out of this alone. The lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned, and complimented the fresh and vibrant salad beautifully. Now let's talk about the lamb cannelloni, a wonderful recommendation from all the fellow Yelpers, and a masterpiece of pasta perfection. Rich, savory, and melt in your mouth delicious. Comfort food taken to a whole new level. Drinks!!!! The Ouzo sidecar was my choice and what a revelation. If you're a fan of black licorice, this drink is a dream come true. The unique blend of flavors in this cocktail has me sipping with delight. Besides all the fantastic food and drinks, the service was great. We were seated immediately, and greeted with bread (olive oil and balsamic ), poured water, and had a wonderful experience with our server. The restaurant itself is tucked in a corner, and has a nice outdoor patio area as well as a charming indoor section. We sat in the back of the restaurant section with all of the wine bottles collection. We very much enjoyed the overall vibes, look, and experience here.

Again, Yanni's Bar & Grill didn't disappoint. My Linguine Frutti di Mare was on point and delicious. My friend's burger was great and perfectly cooked. Look like the construction on the right side of the building is almost done. This will give them an additional 120 seats to host big events and parties.

We had a very nice dinner with excellent food. I really enjoyed the Lamb Skewer, only it would be much better with a few more chunks of lamb. However the taste was awesome and the barbecue vegetables were excellent. I had the sweetest barbecued onion I could remember. My other side was the mashed potatoes and they did not disappoint. That would have normally rated a four but the service was so excellent it pushed everything back above five.

We keep coming back and the food and service never disappoint. The inside is spacious, clean and elegant. Must try place if you live in the area or if you are passing through and are in need of a fresh and delicious dinner or lunch.

Yannis is so underrated, this place is soooo good. Came here for a girls dinner and we family style dined all appetizers. The caviar was phenomenal, totally worth every penny. We ordered a bottle of wine, Brussel sprouts, mussels, meatballs, kalabasi, caviar, and tiramisu. Everything was delicious, totally worth it.

Such great food, and the ambiance, especially on the outdoor patio, is fantastic! The patio is heated with nice, warm lighting. I normally get cold quite easily and I was very comfortable during my whole meal (we went in December). The staff is friendly and accommodating, adding to an overall pleasant environment. This was originally recommended by a friend, and I can see why she comes here regularly. This is fun for a date night, family night, or girls night out.

Been craving some Italian food but most Italian restaurants I wanted to check out were booked for Friday night but was able to make rsvp here at 630p. When we got to restaurant, we were seated right away and the place is pretty spacious and has outdoor seats too! There were a lot of empty seats and restaurant was comfortable. Our waiter was very friendly. We got kid's meals of pizza and plain penne and they were not that good.... I like the kids menu from Cheesecake Factory better lol I got house lemonade which was really refreshing and not too sweet The calamari appetizer was really really good. Really like the green sauce they provided. Only down side of this appetizer is that wish it was crispier. But had. A lot of flavors and chewy I got Mexican shrimp lasagne and it wasn't bad. But wish it was creamier My hub got salmon with mashed potato with carrots and green beans and it was mediocre. Overall, it was nice mediocre family Italian restaurant.

Yanni's is currently under construction but this is a great place to meet up for some fresh Mediterranean food. The menu is massive and has a great selection. The gourmet salad with the chicken skewers was delicious! I ate it and forgot to take a photo of how good it was. The pita bread was crunchy and a bit well done but very tasty.

At first glance, the chicken lasagna immediately jumped off the menu because I don't eat pork and therefore can rarely order lasagna at restaurants. It definitely didn't disappoint with an abundance of cheese and sauce that paired nicely with the complimentary bread. We sat on the patio at a table for 8 and the ambiance was nice. I'd definitely return again but my boyfriend was less impressed with his risotto primavera. The rice dish had an abundance of veggies but it seems like the risotto should have been the star of the show and it was lacking. It's a big bummer because we live close by but my boyfriend is difficult to convince to return to a place that disappointed him.

Food was really good! Service was fairly decent considering they had a full house The music was good the vibe was excellent definitely would try this place again!

Yanni's Bar & Grill is my all time favorite restaurant! I grew up in Scripps Ranch and have had so many wonderful meals here over the years. This is a family-owned business with the best customer service from start to finish. Daniel is absolutely amazing and is my family's favorite server! Everything on the menu is delicious -- my favorites are the chicken lasagna, linguine bolognese, calamari, and arancini. Do not forget to get a budino as it is a super tasty and unique dessert you will not find anywhere else! The quality of the food is top notch and the price is extremely reasonable. I cannot recommend Yanni's Bar & Grill enough!

We have read good reviews in Yelp and thought it was worth checking out as a next door option but it was not as we expected. Ambiance is good but food was pretty average. Most people were drinking wine and looked like they are on a date. If you want to dress up and have a quiet fancy place in the neighborhood this may be it. Service was pretty good for sure.

Delicious Greek restaurant in Scripps Ranch, just off of the 15. My girlfriend & I came here for lunch. I never realized how nice this restaurant is, perfect for business casual lunches & celebrations. They also have a spacious outdoor patio. Customer service was friendly & food was served quick. They serve a variety of dishes: Pitas & Dip, Skewers, Pasta, Sandwiches, Burgers, & more. They also have a variety of cocktails, beers, & wines. Saganaki: Cheese fondue. A must order! Super flavorful & tasty. Chicken Souvlaki: I got this on pita bread. Hearty sandwich, tender chicken. Served with fries (you can sub for soup if you would like).

Excellent service. Ambiance is 4 Stars- quite noisy since we were next to a big party/celebration. Otherwise,I liked the area next to the water fountain. They have lots is heat lamps out on the patio. Food is well prepared and tasty with fair prices. Lots of choices-mostly Mediterranean dishes. I enjoyed the Bouillabaisse, lots of soup base, so ask for extra bread! Their tomato soup was excellent!The tiramisu is yummy and a huge portion. This should be shared.Came back 3 times is 2 weeks. Hahahha! Highly recommend if you have visitors.

Came here for a birthday dinner with a large group. Cocktails were all just ok and not really what we expected. Calamari appetizer was solid. For the main I went with the linguine frutti di mare. Pasta itself was cooked well and Al dente, but the seafood I felt wasn't as fresh, and the sauce/broth was thicker than expected. Heater in the patio kept turning off.

My first time here, just off Interstate 15 & Scripps Poway Parkway...11 of us had a reservation and we were seated immediately. They have a full bar and a large menu. I chose the Linguine White Mexican Shrimp and heard from others in our group that everything is good at Yanni's...my linguine was filling and arrived in a very tasty sauce...my house margarita on the rocks was great...our courteous waiter on a Friday for lunchtime was Jonathan G., and other wait staff were very helpful, and even Yanni, the owner checked in on us to see if we were enjoying our meal, how thoughtful. The restaurant is very clean inside and out, the heated patio is nice, what an enjoyable place to dine :-)

Love this place! We will definitely come back again and again. This time we sat at the bar, the bartender is very professional. He made nice drinks. I loved my Aperol spritz, my husband loved his whiskey drinks.

Great variety of food, with better than average table service and nice ambiance. Other than the spot on food from their lengthy menu, I enjoy their full bar and interesting alcoholic beverages.

We came here for my son's birthday. My husband, who has extreme dietary restrictions at the moment, had a small spinach salad. The potion was huge and generously studded with cranberries and walnuts. He had to forgo the feta and onions, but the greens were well dressed. I had chicken picatta. The chicken breast was thin and not overcooked. The sauce wasn't too tart and there were plenty of capers. I had it with al dente liinguini, carrots and crisp tender green beans. My son had beef kabobs and liked them. He said the horseradish mashed potatoes were good too. The service was attentive. The restrooms were clean. They brought my son a free chocolate mousse dessert, which I did not try. Dinner with tip was well under $100. You can't beat that with a stick!

In between 3 and 4. Think I'll try somewhere else first Service is fine. 1. Arancinini is good. The meat marinara sauce is delicious 2. The bread is super good 3. Mussels are okay... very salty and kind of over cooked 4. The linguini shrimp with lobster broth was very delicious and a big favorite. 5. Carbonara was fine

I wish I had taken my phone in and took a picture of our food. It was fabulous. Kebab platter, grilled salmon, I had the Mediterranean salad & we had the tzitziki platter & spanakopita. My only complaint is the saganaki was not flaming, and I'm not used to a Greek place without flaming Saganaki.

Food was delicious and the service was good. The owner came over a couple of times so that was impressive. Will definitely come back if in the area.

Very good service and an authentic taste. This is the first time in many years I have found Saganaki on the menu and although it was prepared differently, the taste was fantastic.

We have enjoyed amazing food and awesome service at Yannis Restaurant continuesly for many years. The experience and ambiance has ALWAYS been superb. The menu has a vast selection of perfectly prepared food and the evening is always talked about with our family and friends. WE ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD LOOK TO OUR NEXT VISIT TO YANNIS.

We have been dining at Yanni's for decades. It's our neighborhood restaurant and would be the restaurant my wife and I would go to that was close, nice menu and cozy ambiance. Menu has a nice variety and we have our favorites, service is good and nice atmosphere inside and out!

Fantastic ambiance, excellent service, and delicious wine and food - Definitely, I am coming back - I ordered the spring salad, with a site of the tsatsiki plate and grilled salmon - it was so good!!!

Bouillabaisse! Fantastic! Dining partner shared a bite, it was so impressive, all the terrific flavors! Sandra was our terrific waitress. We enjoyed our spanakopita, served with basil and tomato, it was like eating from a garden, so fresh and just the right amount of olive oil. I enjoy how the staff all work together to wait on one table. The meal service is flawless! We enjoyed champagne and mini boudinos for dessert, delectable and the mini size is perfect to go with the "sparkles" Sandra called our champagne sparkles and I loved it. This place is incredible, love Yannis!

Omggg you must try these 3 on the menu!! Great ambience & service. If you love lamb I highly recommend you try the lamb burger. I can't wait to come back!!!
