At approximately 2 blocks in length from north to south, Yansan is located immediately north of the MRT station exit and runs north to Changji Street. The density of vendors is low however one must consider that this is a major roadway with bus, car and scooter traffic. The vendors have set up tables on the sidewalk outside other shops and some restaurants have also set up their kitchens on the street, leaving the interior as seating area. All in all, this is a functional night market, swerving the community as they get off work. However unlike others where the street is only open to pedestrians and occasion scooters, Yansan is a major roadway, thus it can never reach the density nor quality of a night market on a narrower street with high foot traffic.

One of the most popular market in Taipei, it’s not that long and I was surprised to find so many shops selling lamb and milk fish dishes. This is more of a sit down to eat night market than the traditional eating & walking type.

Super good! No tourist, all local food (only food) stalls. I ate like a pig, I had fried noodles with eel, goat bone marrow stir fry, goat heart, peanut soup, sticky rice sausage. And freshly steamed dumplings! Omg ! I highly recommend this place!

A pretty small night market on the road. There are several vendors and shops around. Food is nice with reasonable prices, I would give higher ranking for the individuals, not the night market itself.

Google
Not really a traditional Taiwan night market. Its food stalls that operate from their building. Less vibrant than most market. I would not recommend at all. I didn’t eat anything from this so called night market. No photos as it’s not photo worthy.

This Night Market was a little small, but all the food still looked good.

Google
Relatively quiet night market but definitely has a lot of food varieties to offer.

You can get authentic Taiwanese street food here, and they’re so much better than most other night markets I’ve been to. Though the street itself is not too big as compared to the other night markets.
