There are two sections separated by the rocks mount. The right part is near gray water dump. So I chose to swim at the left part. Water by the rocks is clear this dry peak season There are many types and big fishes. School of fish can be seen at knee level. The bottom is rocky, should wear water shoes.
Can rent mat and umbrella 200B each. Kayake is 100B an hour. Many restaurants dotted nearby. They have beach prices and eatable nothing to rave about. Plenty of free parking for motobikes and autos.
Must say it's my best and free snorkeling experience. Didn't have to pay for tour, going far out with less fish.

Experience the fresh sea air in the morning. The trail starts from Nai Harn Beach, leading up to the windmill viewpoint to breathe in the fresh air, then down to Yanui Beach to enjoy the ocean breeze, and finally up to Promthep Cape. It's an exercise route suitable for all ages, from teenagers to grandparents.

We had a great time snorkelling and kayaking in the clear blue waters . Saw so many different colourful fish eating the algae on the rocks and even saw a starfish! Beach is nice, you can rent mats and umbrellas. Very calm waters! But be careful of some sea urchins on the rocks

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from the crowded beaches of Phuket, Yanui Beach is the place to be. The water is also great for snorkeling right off the shore, where you can see plenty of colorful fish. After your activities, you can grab a cold coconut from the local stalls nearby. Highly recommended for a fun day out!"

Beautiful beach and great spot to see some fish and do snorkeling with kids.
Sometimes plastic is shored, but there are Thais working on cleaning it constantly, with a rake...

Yanui Beach is a small but incredibly charming spot in Phuket — a cozy bay with calm turquoise water, soft sand, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. It’s perfect for snorkeling, kayaking, or just unwinding away from the big crowds. The rocks and small island nearby make it great for beautiful photos, and the sunset views are truly special. A lovely hidden gem that’s definitely worth visiting! 🌊✨

Beautiful little beach 🏖️ in the south of Phuket. Probably the nicest one we’ve seen during our stay. Water is crystal clear and you can see plenty of marine life with your goggles and snorkel.
No sun beds for rent, but an umbrella (200 THB) + a mat (100 THB) work just as well.
We arrived at 14:30 and there was still enough places even in the “first row” by the water. Ideal for little kids as well.
