Good food, great atmosphere. Liked it very much

A nice Friendly Store, they give you a nice size portion. Food presentation is great, well prepared. Many meat boards to choose from, dips, cholent, yapchick(their claim to fame).. Overall the store was very clean and a nice place to go for a supper or lunch. Well stocked. Food is ok, nothing wow! But decent food. Prices are also ok. But again nothing wow, average prices, some pricey.

I cannot believe how well the place is run. It feels so homey and the food is so good. I was so surprised how amazing the service was. But we surprised.

A big part of the menu is self-serve buffet style, so there is no wait time.

great heimishe food i also got shabbos food from there which tasted HOMEMADE their variety of kugels we greatly enjoyed and overall it was just good food

For what's they're charging it's ehh. For sandwiches - I never purchased 35 dollars!!!!!!!, before in my life until this place...the older guy is great, but the younger guy with glasses has a nasty attitude and thinks he's above the customers. I order the sandwiches that had the description of their contents. The bread it's on veggies and sauces that go with it and chose it. He then asks me what I want the sandwich on I said the way it's made and he goes but you didn't specify. I said the way you guys say it's made. And kept trying to ask the same question until the older guy stepped in and said hey no you're right. That's how it usually should be. I mean just poor communication and subpar food. For a 35 dollar sandwich and an attitude I won't be returning.

I've passed this place for years, always meaning to stop in, but didn't get around to it until yesterday. I had to patch a hole in a tire, and so took it to Mr. Tire, right next door. My daughter went over to Yapchik and picked up lunch for us. We did the create a bowl option and each got completely delicious bowls. The selection of base, veggies, proteins and dressings was impressive, and it all tasted delicious. I am certainly adding this place to my list of preferred eateries!

Large menu plus buffet style, delicious food, excellent service, they also offer waiter service, many seatings.

I go with my daughter on Thursday nights. The place is spotless, owner is a gentleman. Everything I've had was delicious and tasty. Chuolent is spot on and perfectly flavorful. I strongly recommend Yapchik

My buddy was visiting, and we wanted to eat at a strictly kosher place. We ended up trying Yapchik. It's located on Route 9, closer to the Howell border. Yapchik is cafeteria style and/or fast casual, although they do have a special events room on the side. You order at the counter, and they give you a buzzer. When your order is ready, the buzzer goes off, and you pick your food up from the counter. The workers were all really nice. The food was just meh. My friend's Schnitzel, he said, was too greasy. I got a salad, and it was too mushy and just not crisp. The ingredients just didn't seem to go together, and the dressing just seemed to be plain mayonnaise. They have boxes of side salads and items to go. The other patrons seemed nice, too. Overall, it was a decent experience. But I would maybe try one of the other kosher restaurants in Lakewood next time.

My soda fountain drink was $3.50 the dinner for 2 was $100. I might pay it if I were in Cancun on the beach or if the money went to help Israel. I did not see any Elon Musk, Tim Cook, Jared Kushner types there. I rest my case.

Food is good but but it feels like you're sitting in a school cafeteria. We went on a weekday evening place was empty a couple of people came in after we did and as we were leaving they were setting up for some sort of party in the back room

This place was great I would come here all the time. But after my last visit to this place I don't think I would want to go back Behind the counter there was this "Lakewood rebel" named "Akiva". This piece of shit wouldn't take my order. He just looked at me all stupidly and went on to the next person. Finally when he did get around to taking my order 5 min later. He starts to give me attitude for no reason at all. When I get my food, I asked him a for 4/5 sauces he looks at me with the most serious tone of voice and tells me he can't give me more than 3 sauces. I even tried to explain to him I ordered 4 different things and I need at least 3 for each one. It was as if he didn't want to work or hell me out. I am appalled by this place. Don't think I am going back here again. Thank you Akiva you lost a valuable customer

I ate here the other night with my wife. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly. This is not a waitered restaurant, it is an order by the counter and get your food yourself kind of restaurant. We ordered the schnitzel pastrami wrap and the deli roll. Both were delicious and deserving 5 stars. The wrap was grilled and had the perfect crisp. I once tasted their homemade pastrami and it was exceptional. Soft like butter and delicious. I cannot give five stars becuase they did not have the first two items I tried ordering- the roast beef and the rib steak. If you have an item on the menu have it in stock. Pricing is average for this type of restaurant in Lakewood. All in all I recommend. In my opinion their food is better than the other similar establishments in the area.

Food is sparse and not good. While we were eating they were cleaning the floors and I'll I could smell was floor cleaner.
