We came for dinner in a Friday night and got right in without a reservation. They have tons of beers, and you can make your own flight to try four at a time. The menu was substantial, about of things looked good. I settled on the steak bowl, with a chicken tortilla soup. Because of the large menu, I was expecting frozen food, tough steak etc, but I was pleasantly surprised. The soup was delicious. Creamy, hot, and fresh. It had little bits of avocado on top and big chunks of chicken. Delicious. The steak bowl had some of the best cooked steak I have ever had. Super tender and perfectly cooked. Beer was good, food was excellent, and service was great. And you can’t beat the people watching from the patios.

Google
Great selection of beer (loved the build-your-own flights) and an eclectic mix of dishes. The food is surprisingly good -- I expected the mix of bar food and Asian seafood dishes to be odd, but we ordered a mix of everything and all the dishes were fantastic! The portions are huge, so order accordingly!

Google
Excellent food and service! I love the Yard House—they have such a vast menu with plenty of options and I’m never disappointed with the quality of the items. Reasonably priced too. I ordered the seared tuna sandwich which was phenomenal. Very flavorful and would definitely order it again. The spinach dip appetizer was great as well—I just wish they gave more dip. I also loved my drink! I got the Pineapple Express and it was tasty.

We walked in without a reservation and waited about 10-15 minutes to be seated. Our waiter Matthew was fabulous! He let us pick the best style table for us to use with a high chair and put us in an emptier part of the restaurant so we could leave my son's mobility device by the table. He was so kind to my son and discussed menu options with us to accommodate food allergies. The food was great. I will definitely return.

Google
Long wait time to get in on Red Sox Gameday. Food was good and they have a great selection of beer. House Give ‘Em Helles was good and chicken nachos were huge! Bathroom was out of paper towels and a mess.

Google
Really love the spicy jambalaya here. (It is really not spicy at all.) Food is great and so is the service. Did not quite like how dark the place is though. It messes you up when it is so bright outside during the day.

Google
Great time at Yard House this evening, food was delightful & came out at a good time. Great games on, and overall great atmosphere. In addition to that, the menu offers a wide variety of drink & meal options, so everyone has options. Perfect spot for a quality night out with friends and family. The Parmesan truffle fries are great, and the cheesesteak is a hit.

Google
Great atmosphere and the food had great flavors! The half-priced appetizers during the 3-6 happy hour are a fantastic deal!

Yelp
Rachel was excellent Great service food was so good Just went to Holocaust exhibit so good Doubling up with my Bestie Foo Fighters next Awesome ambiance

Yelp
Not great. Not awful. I feel like you don't go to Yard House to be blown away. As one of my friends says...Perfectly adequate Went with a group of friends. Entrees included salad, burgers, sandwiches. Nothing was great and very average. We also got a few apps (Brussels and onion rings). The veggie burger was mushy but had ok flavor, the club was exceptionally plain and dry. The salad was very basic but acceptable. All of our fries were ice cold, though they did warm them up (somewhat). They were out of the beer I wanted and the replacement was again, perfectly adequate. Service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is that of any other Yard House, a bit loud/sports bar vibe. I won't be coming back any time soon. There are much better pubs in the area and much, much better food.

Yelp
Enjoyed a stop at Yardhouse before a Phils vs Red Sox game at Fenway. Ample seating, great tv visability in the bar area, and good 90's tunes and music videos. I had Korean tacos for 17.99; excellent! Buddies enjoyed food as well and the beer selections. Good food stop before a game!

Yelp
Yard house is the place to be for the NBA finals Game 4 Celtics! There was a line just to get inside around 7:30 and then we put our name down for a table and they said it could be an hour and half wait! We decided to go hang around the bar - which there was standing room only - at least they have a little counter there so you can order drinks there. We did so and waited and luckily after about 35 minutes our table was ready- whew! TVs everywhere perfect viewing from anywhere in the restaurant. It got really crowded as the game started. The games in a tough spot right now but that perhaps means there might be a game 5 in Boston....who knows! It's only third quarter things could still turnaround. I ordered the spicy jambalaya- my usual order - big portion. It was good and of course I have enough leftovers. The hubs got a burger which he really liked and a friend got the pork burger. For dessert the cheesecake brûlée was really nice - never had one - very creamy with the brûlée crust - yummy! For drinks I had the buzz-free mojito - I figured the whole place was buzzing so I didn't need any more ha ha! The hubs had the Hawaiian mule and friend got a beer (dogfish). Our server Sofia was nice and attentive. Never seen the place this crowded before. Lots of people near the bar and also near the tables. Overall great time at Yard house!

Eva A.

Yelp
Came here on a whim on a Tuesday night, to be honest, expected it to be more crowded. Ordered the chicken lettuce wraps to start, which were decent, though not the best I've had. The tofu or sauce added a mild mushroom flavor, and the wonton cup was difficult to break and was kind of bland. However it was surprisingly super filling! Next I had the grilled chicken avocado burger without Swiss, and the chicken was very juicy (or greasy? Couldn't tell) but had the tiniest bit of avocado ever. My friend got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, said he did not enjoy. The chicken was thick but overly fried and way too greasy- the bottom bun was soaked through. Otherwise our waitress was super attentive and warned us about longer wait times due to new staff training, checked in on our meal, etc. Overall fine experience, unsure if I would come back but is a fine choice since they stay open late!

Andrea D.

Yelp
always love the yard house. they're always packed yet you never go thirsty! tried their special oktoberfest menu and was not disappointed. their nachos are usually our go to order

Yelp
My friend and I stopped here after we watched the Detroit Tigers defeat the Boston Red Socks at Fenway Park. I was not expecting much from this restaurant initially because it looked like a typical modern sports bar with what I presumed to be lackluster and overpriced food. Honestly I couldn't be any more wrong. Not only was the inside of the place spacious and lively, but the service was quite good given how busy it was. One item that came highly recommended were the Poke Nachos, which had fresh tuna and other toppings served on a bed of nachos and drizzled with this amazing sauce. I never imagined I would eat raw tuna in this manner, but it worked like a charm and satisfied my post game hunger perfectly. My only complaint is that it was very loud and crowded, but we did literally come here after a game so it was to be expected. Definitely recommend this place if you show up when it's less busy.

Sara D.

Yelp
We went to Yard House after a tour of Fenway park. I got the Bleu cheese and bacon burger and I truly think this is one of the best burgers I have ever had! Our server was really great. When we went, it was pretty empty since we went in the early afternoon and there weren't too many games on so I can't speak to a busy atmosphere but our server was super attentive!

Dody E.

Yelp
No way this should have a low rating. The food is FANTASTIC, the atmosphere is LIVELY, the service is FAST+FRIENDLY. What more do you people want? Anyone rating below 4 is not being honest. Perhaps the coastal elite continue their war on "chain restaurants". I say enough. This is an easy 5 stars. PS get the wings (lemon pepper, Korean chili are very good) or the poke nachos for extra delicious bites.

Dan D.

Yelp
Just went here before the game with some clients. The service was fast and everyone was happy with what they got. Their club soda was incredible. And the appetizers we got were all good. Inside was pretty cool and clean. But as we exited it obviously was getting packed right around 530 or so before the game.

Kit D.

Yelp
I had a great experience with my girlfriend and her parents dining here on a warm spring day! It was a nice day, so we chose to sit outside on the patio. The host informed us that it would be a 5 minute wait to eat outside, which was fairly quick for a week night for dinner. We were seated quickly, but noticed right away the wait times for the service were a bit slow. The whole process took about 2 hours, with the most time dedicated to waiting for the bill, which is a bit lengthy due to the restaurant not being super crowded on a week night. As for food, we ordered a variety of dishes ranging from burgers to spicy shrimp & noodles. Everything was wonderful! I ordered a grilled chicken and avocado sandwich with a side of fries. The fries were wonderful-- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the perfect size. The sandwich was (in all capital letters) AMAZING!!! The grilled chicken was so juicy, the avocado was perfectly ripe, and the cherry tomato relish was a wonderful addition to the sandwich. I was never a huge fan of raw cherry tomatoes in the past, but today's sandwich completed changed the game for me in that department. Overall, a delicious and price friendly option for a nice family dinner in Fenway!

Abigail M.

Yelp
Yard House is a solid option for dinner in Fenway, and has great options for people of varying dietary needs (aka, no boring salads for vegetarians). I had a great dinner with my family and girlfriend here the other day. The service was slower than usual, my dad having to flag down a host to get a server to our table. But after that, it was smooth sailing! We ordered sandwiches, chicken dishes, and noodles Everything came out fast and tasted great. Yard House is a restaurant, though, where the food is good, but not something you necessarily crave. I always have a good experience here though! I opted for the sweet and spicy shrimp noodles this time and they had a perfect balance of flavor. I would have preferred more shrimp, but they were still good. The waitstaff is always very kind and you can never go wrong with Yard House, it's a go-to option in Fenway.

Yelp
American fare! This is a chain and the vibes are sports bar (really lively on weekends and around games), with a good atmosphere for a weekend night out. I usually come to grab some drinks with friends on the weekend and always have a good time. Service is usually hospitable and relatively fast, and the locations I've been to have a lot of seating and can accommodate large groups. They're known for their half-yard beers (equivalent to 2.5 pints I think) and you can choose from an expansive tap selection (the breadth of their menu is honestly comparable to a brewery). I don't usually come here for food, but can say that the portions are huge (typical American sized servings); also I am a big fan of their poke nachos. Definitely a nice spot for pregames and late night meals.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Came here because of the location to our hotel. It was packed on a Sunday night. We were greeted and seated immediately. Wait, stuff was a bit slow, but again, Sunday night.... The food was okay. Nothing is very memorable.

Arthur S.

Yelp
I went to the Yard House after a Red Sox game and was very pleased. The restaurant is very large and clean with several tables and a wrap around bar. There are several choices on the menu for food and beer. The pints are about $6-7, but if you get the 1/2 yard you are getting a good deal! I ordered a Turkey Club and it was loaded with turkey! They put avocado and cheese on it too, which balances out the bacon. This was probably the best turkey club that I've ever had. The staff are bartenders and staff were fast, friendly, and attentive. I will definitely go back!

Sara Jieyi T.

Yelp
Poke Nachos here is must try! Especially during their happy hour with half price off on weekdays from 3-6pm. We got two plates cause we wanted more. Also, ask for extra sauce on the dish, it tastes 10x better. Enjoy! Oh, and the Nashville Hot Chicken with sweet potatoes pancake slaps too. Our waitress was friendly and even she loved the poke nacho here she said. Great service! Classic restaurant/ bar with many options of cocktails and beer to choose from and watch a game. Always a good time here. Food: 9/10 Service: 8/10 Experience: 8/10 Value: 8.5/10

Yelp
Yard House is the perfect place to go to after work, right smack dab in the middle of Fenway, delicious food and tasty drinks. A wonderful spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or pop in for some good food while sightseeing in the city. My post-work vent session meal is always: POKE NACHOS What a tasty appetizer! Crispy wontons as the "nachos", marinated raw ahi tuna diced into bite-sized pieces, fresh avocado, sliced serrano peppers, white truffle sauce, sweet soy ginger sauce, sriracha aïoli, green onion, cilantro, nori flakes and sesame seeds. The ahi is buttery when you bite into it and seasoned well in sauce and spices. A great mix and combo of fresh ingredients for a modern twist on nachos. Delicious! PARMESAN TRUFFLE FRIES I freaking love these truffle fries. They're made with white truffle oil, parmesan, thyme AND parsley. Every fry is fried to gold, crispy perfection and when you bite into it, the middle is fluffy, soft potato-ey inside like a mashed potato, but fluffier. I gobble these fries up everytime oh my gosh, finger licking good. BBQ CHICKEN SALAD This salad is quite literally one of the best salads ever. It starts off with a base of mixed greens then you have the juicy, grilled chicken, the freshly sliced avocado, pasilla, charred corn, sprinkles of cheddar and monterey jack, some slithers of tortilla strips, diced tomatoes, pinto beans, cilantro and topped with fried onions. You can opt out of the fried onions if that's not your thing, but they're totally mine! Think of thin, but crunchy onion rings which is exactly what's on this bad boy. Oh and it's dressed in this really tasty chipotle ranch. I usually get the dressing on the side because I like to control how much dressing I have on my salad, just a personal preference. Now, get a little of everything into one bite and I'm telling ya just an explosion of flavors and textures in your mouth. UGHHHH it's sooo delicious. I could literally eat this everyday. Love it! I love Yard House because you can come here for literally any occassion and the food is on point every freaking time. You want a huge pretzel? They got it! A freaking enormous 32oz beef in a single glass? Yeah they got you! The service is always fast and friendly. They handle small gatherings well as long as huge ones. They're awesome. Highly recommend!

Edward W.

Yelp
This is my go to restaurant if eating late and wanting good / wide selection of food and drinks. Apps I usually would get is the chicken nachos, great for sharing. I usually get a burger with parm fries; all the burgers are taste great, but the whiskey & aged cheddar is a bit messy. I'm also a sucker for bread pudding and Yard House definitely hits the spot. But honestly, the food quality is pretty good so can't go wrong with whatever you pick. If you really want to go hard and drink they have this half yard sized glass that is impressive to look at, more impressive if you finish. Their beer selection is also seems like 100+ options long. The service is good, usually quick and speedy from ordering to getting the food. What I like most though is the device on the table where you can pay and split the bill by items. It's super easy and quick and great for larger groups. They also have these booths that can fit up to 8 ppl which is nice and plenty of TVs having sports games going! Overall, great place for a good time.

Adelyn H.

Yelp
I'm in Boston for a month for dance and I've been eating cafeteria food for the past week so I was looking for some good solid food and this hit every mark!! The service was also amazing I totally recommend!! The ambiance was good I will say the music was a little bit loud but other than that it was great!!

Zoe E.

Yelp
Amazing customer service! Meira the host was lovely! Very accommodating to all requests, super friendly, and very cheery. Honestly made my experience at Yard House, although the food and drinks were awesome too.

Dan M.

Yelp
This was a large location with a spacious bar and plenty of tables to sit at. The menu had tons of options to choose from. There was traditional bar food and other creative choices as well. The service was decent while the food came out in a timely manner. For appetizers, the poke nachos ($15.99) and jumbo Bavarian pretzel ($12.49) were ordered. The nachos contained marinated raw ahi, wontons, avocado, serranos, white truffle sauce, sweet soy ginger sauce, sriracha aioli, cilantro, green onions, nori, and sesame seeds. This had a lot going on with the number of different sauces and toppings. The crispy wontons were key here as they held up with the number of toppings. I would have preferred a little more ahi present. The pretzel came with a house IPA white cheddar beer cheese and horseradish mustard. The pretzel came out extremely hot. It was very soft and dipped nicely with the cheese and mustard. The mustard was my preferred choice as the cheese had something I was not a fan of, potentially the house IPA. For an entrée, I just had 10 traditional wings with whiskey black pepper sauce ($14.99). They were not bad. They were very crispy and came out hot. The sauce was a little too sweet for me. The quality of the wing was ideal though. I would have liked to see some type of sauce or aioli to go with these as well. I also tried the grilled chicken and avocado sandwich. The chicken had a cumin and chili rub that was unbelievable. It was perfectly seasoned. It also came with avocado, Swiss cheese, roasted tomatoes, arugula, and a lemon basil aioli. It was a tasty sandwich. The fries were a little salty, however. Will I go back? Perhaps.

Yelp
Truly I'm in shock just now realizing I haven't reviewed yard house yet! I used to be a strictly BJs fan but soon realized that that chain doesn't exist on the east coast and cautiously tried yard house for the first time. I'm so glad that I did though because wow do they have such a fun selection of food and drinks! I've been trying to venture out and try more of their things but it's so hard when they have such good staples like the vampire tacos! The cheese fried onto the taco exterior is such a power move and I absolutely love all the ingredients they put into making it! The rice is especially delicious and flavorful too! I also tried their sunset sangria and while I usually love my drinks to be on the sweeter side, I was pleasantly surprised that theirs wasn't super sweet, just slightly tart in fact, but in the best way possible! The added fruits was a perk as well. The interior is a slightly classier version of BJ's but with similar dim lighting and wood structure. The booth seats are super comfy, I feel like I'm being swallowed into them and they'll keep my secrets! Just be careful that you don't accidentally toy with their iPads and get charged $2.99 for their "unlimited games", at least so I've heard from a friend. Overall though, Yard house is always such a good time!

Sarah B.

Yelp
I love this place. We had Cecelia and she immediately gave good recommendations for food and drinks! I loved the atmosphere because it was everyone going to the MLB game so we were all getting energized right before! Truly delightful.

Zeni B.

Yelp
I came here twice on my trip to Boston. We first stopped after a red socks game for drinks and appetizers. The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. We loved it so much we came back the next day for lunch. The food was very good and we had great service again!

Jeff B.

Yelp
I'm a go 3.5 stars. The regular 20oz ribeye with side is under 40 bucks . Not sure how that's even possible in downtown Boston. Great value on that dish, was cooked perfect and better quality than one would expect . Service was ok from Bartenders . The layout and atmosphere is great !

Kelly J.

Yelp
Good service, reasonably priced food for Fenway, mysteriously corporate vibes. Your dad's idea of a nice restaurant.

Dan D.

Yelp
While in town for a graduation, we stopped in twice to have lite bites at happy hour one day then a full meal with family since we were staying in the hotel across the street. The staff here is the greatest, even thought the huge place is always packed. If you can get a place at the bar, it is impressive with the massive selection of beers, that's what you go for. Order the monster pretzel served hung with hot cheese and spicy mustard. I know it is a chain restaurant, but the food and service are the best.

Natalie L.

Yelp
Food was good, but it was so hard to eat in there with the smell of stagnant skunky beer. We sat at the bar and the bartender was nice.

CJ M.

Yelp
Decent pub food (pizza and truffle fries included) and a great beer menu, obviously (menu is legit like reading a book). Friendly, attentive staff. There was just something about this place that seemed dirty/unappetizing. Guess it's the typical high turnover, city bar scene, maybe? Good in a pinch if you're going to a show/game in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here.

Tina N.

Yelp
Easy to get seated drinks and food decent prices. Got the blue cheese burger. Good sauce and good burger

Carlie C.

Yelp
My favorite place to grab a drink! The beer list is incredible -- there are so many options that everyone can find something they like. You can even get a flight to try many kinds. The half yards are also so much fun (although sometimes hard to drink out of), and you get great bang for your buck. It's actually one of the cheaper bars to drink at in Boston if you get a half yard! The Fenway Yard House is my favorite location, where they also have great outdoor seating with ver effective heaters. They also just opened a new location in Copley which is less nice because it is inside a mall. The service at both is fantastic, and every wait staff I've met is always helpful recommending a beer for you. The food is delicious, and they also have great vegetarian options despite being a sports bar (the Chick'n Wings are to die for!) It's great quality food for a fair price. They also have a deal where you can join the rewards program for a free appetizer. Both places are a great spot to hang out with friends, watch a game, or go on a date. I can't recommend Yard House enough!

Nick C.

Yelp
Went in on a spur of the moment thing with my wife after visiting her mother in the hospital. Overall service was great, super attentive. Lauryn was very pleasant. I love that they have Maine Lunch on tap. Food was hit or miss. Poke nachos = fantastic, tons of poke. chicken tenders where over cooked and dry, and there was SO much giant chunks of garlic on the margarita pizza that it was flat out inedible, literally my wife had half of one slice and could stand any more... I would go back for the drinks and half price apps, but would probably be selective with what I order

Christopher C.

Yelp
food service and ambiance were excellent. the lighting was great for selfies with my girlfriend. the drink selection is vast and expansive. the food is better than any near peer / similar sports bar in the service industry. the brussel sprouts are a showstopper, but there isn't a thing i've gotten there that hasn't been good. plenty of TV's for any sporting event. staff is attentive. they run a tight ship over at the yard house

Ashley P.

Yelp
The food and service was amazing! Although it was so busy we only waited 15/20 minutes for a table which isn't bad. Ambiance was an elevated sports bar. The sangria and sweet potato fries were AMAZING. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the boneless wings came out cold, but other than that it was a great dining experience!

Alyssa C.

Yelp
really fun place for drinks and food with friends. large beer selection, and it's all on tablets which makes it easy to order. the beer flight is fun but definitely get the half yard! highlights: - poke nachos - classic sliders - new holland dragon's milk: tbh just got this bc it was the strongest percentage but it ended up being DELICIOUS, hint of coffee flavor - happy hour!! really good deals

Latasha B.

Yelp
Great service great food great atmosphere the only thing is no parking!!!! I bet if parking was validated it would be more busy the restaurant is super beautiful the patio section goes out to the back street where shopping can be a option, target and other shops available to walk that food off ... no we didn't eat it all I actually had 2 boxes to go ,,,, yummy

Layla K.

Yelp
Visited this place after game was postponed due to the rain. With full bar and many people around the bar - they only had 4 bartenders. Service was slow and bar was not cleaned after customers were leaving. Food was dissent, but not as good as it could be. Will not visit when there is a game again.

Shayla B.

Yelp
Our server Max was cordial, speedy and so sweet all night. Will definitely be returning and thanks again to Max for making our night special!

Dee C.

Yelp
The guy with the giraffe tattoo is the bartender you want. He takes pride in making drinks which make them so freaking delsih. He has a great attitude as well. The location is prime, you can commute there, it's in the Fenway area so always a good vibe. The establishment is huge, and the food is good. I feel like you can always have great expectations for any Yard House you go to.

Frank P.

Yelp
Service was so friendly, place is great food was delicious. Plenty of staff on game days.

Doc L.

Yelp
The food quality is average for a brew pub like this. I liked the atmosphere. The service was friendly and helpful. The beer was fresh and I liked their variety of choices!! I'm looking forward to returning....

Emma T.

Yelp
Came here before an event in Fenway area. It was packed, but we found a spot at the bar. The event we were going to had food, so we just got an appetizer and drink. Really enjoyed both. Despite being very busy, the service and food was quick and prompt. The drink prices felt very reasonable and the food prices seemed average. I would return!

Jenna S.

Yelp
We came here before a Red Sox game and really enjoyed the pre-game atmosphere! It was really fun to see Sox fans excited for the game. It was very busy in there, and we just stood at the bar to get a drink. It took a bit for someone to serve us and they didn't take away the food from the people before us out for quite awhile as well. However, they were friendly and got our drinks to us fast once we were served. Their half yard beer option is so fun!!

Marni M.

Yelp
Came here with a few coworkers. We were able to get our party of 6 seated once the hostess was back at the front (about 5 minutes). The outdoor patio area under the roof was a little cold for most of our liking for those who don't like big ceiling fans. For drinks we got a variety of beers, mixed drinks and wine. We shared the tower of onion rings and fried calamari. The onion rings were great, covered in a solid coating of batter along with a spicy Mayo and ranch on the side. The calamari was standard, served with a marina and tarter sauce on the side. For entrees I shared a Mac & cheese and kurobuta pork burger with my friend. The Mac & cheese was decent but not anything special. The burger was okay, a little on the dry side considering we got it cooked medium. Fries were good and everyone else seemed satisfied with their meals. Overall, decent experience but would want to try other local restaurants instead of coming back. However, our server was great and offered me a few chasers of beer to try out before I ended up ordering a half yard of my choosing.

Drew H.

Yelp
Food? Totally fine! Beer? Great Selection! Music? Way the heck too loud. It really dumbs down the dining experience and takes the fun out having a conversation over the table. Turn it down.

Bhavya P.

Yelp
Always a great experience! We went on weekdays evening and it was packed, but we got seated pretty soon. The food is great here always, and not to forget their beer options!!

Dustin P.

Yelp
Great beer selection and fantastic service. Clean and open, quick service. Apps good and food was good. A good spot here in Boston by Fenway Park. Thank you

Joe P.

Yelp
Sahana was AMAZING. she has great customer service skills and a great personality. She went out of her way to serve us. 1000 star to Sahana. Thank you

Katherine C.

Yelp
I think overall this place would be a solid choice for a very casual night out with friends. However, I came here for a networking event, and it was awkward having 20 people on high top chairs, eating on a very long, thanksgiving like table situation in the middle of the whole restaurant. Since it was a loud environment, I wish Yard House could've provided some context to the event organizers that it would not be an ideal networking environment and rather offer a place where our group can be able to stand, walk around, and talk amongst each other with high top tables for food and drinks. Or, at least offer a private room for folks with a circular seating arrangement so we could face each other. Just my two cents in case other event organizers approach management & hope they can give honest recommendations in advance.
