Amazing food, beautiful presentation, and a great atmosphere. Every dish was full of flavor and perfectly cooked—the plantains, rice, and entrées were outstanding. What really made the experience special was our waiter Andres. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly taken care of. Excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Carlos was a phenomenal service. The quality of attention from the moment you step in is incredible. The appetizer amazing. The options of entrees incredible! and the dessert! the dulce de coco al horno was out of this world. the whole service staff was incredibly kind and funny. we had a lovely time and we will definitely be coming back as a staple.

12/23/2025 Yarumba Restaurant We really don’t know who the owners or the chef of this restaurant is however, they serve classical Dominican dishes such as; Sancocho ( A type of soup with vegetables and different meats), Chicharon al Horno, (Bake Pork Belly), Tostones, Rice & Beans, amongst other. We tried a few different orders and they did not disappoint. We visited the restaurant for lunch, the ambience was somewhat relaxed, noice level was acceptable and the service was okay. Will definitely visit again. “Eat deliciously"

Yarumba is an absolute gem! The food was incredibly delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is amazing—warm, vibrant, and perfect for a great dining experience. What truly made the experience special was the exceptional service provided by Andres. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend Yarumba for anyone looking for outstanding Dominican food, service, and ambiance!

**(Pictures attached are from the previous visits)** I originally left Yarumba a 5-star review not too long ago because I truly enjoyed my experiences here. I’ve been to this restaurant more than six times, and until recently, it was one of my favorite places for Dominican food. The food was always flavorful, the atmosphere lively, and the service welcoming. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was extremely disappointing, and I feel it’s important to update my review to reflect that. The issue this time was with our server. From the beginning, there was a noticeable lack of attention — no water was offered when we sat down, and the order was taken incorrectly. When the plates arrived, we politely mentioned the mistake, but instead of apologizing or attempting to fix it, the server immediately blamed us, saying we had “confused her.” It wasn’t just the words, but the dismissive attitude. What made it worse was that she was taking orders while on her phone, asking the caller to “hold on” so she could address customers. This struck me as very unprofessional, especially in a restaurant that usually prides itself on service. When we tried to be understanding, she just looked at us and laughed. At that point, we asked to speak to the manager. The manager did apologize, but the matter ended there. We weren’t looking for anything free — we paid for everything — we simply asked to have the 20% service charge removed, because we felt disregarded and dismissed by the way we were treated. Even the food, which has always been the highlight here, did not taste as good as in previous visits, making the whole experience even more disappointing. I don’t write this review to tear down the restaurant — I’ve had too many great nights here before to dismiss it entirely. But consistency matters, and service should never leave customers feeling disrespected or ignored. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, because this restaurant has always been one of the better Dominican dining spots in the area. I would love to see it return to the high standard that first made me give it 5 stars.

The food and service was great. The server, Carlos, was friendly and very helpful. His recommendations were amazing. Everything we are was yummy. We had: SHRIMP MOFONGUITOS (highly recommend) SURF AND TURF PORK BELLY with SWEET PLANTAIN MOFONGO BOCA CHICA SNAPPER with MOCANO MOFONGO BAKED SWEET COCONUT (highly recommend) Dominican Mule and Passion fruit margarita on the rocks Take note that they add automatically a 20% tip and a 3% card transaction fee which is ridiculous. That is the cost of doing business and the tip should be based on the service. In my case I was going to tip that since our server was great but that should not be automatic.

The food is amazing, service is excellent, my server was Ivonne she was lovely, gave us great selection of food and very attentive. We were a big party and she was great! The food, flavor, and atmosphere is recommended 100%

My date wanted to try something new so we headed to Yarumba he said he passed by it a few times going to work. Yarumba was a whole vibe. We got seated right away and our waitress was super sweet. The passion fruit mojito was good, just a little sweet. The pork belly mofongo? Melted in our mouths. We added the Dominican Sampler and avocado salad after seeing another table's food no regrets. The chef came out to chat with us which was nice and gave us the opportunity to personally compliment his work. The food had me rolling my eyes it was so good. This was a perfect choice for a Friday night date and to just wind down. We watched the soccer game that was on as there were multiple tvs all around. We're definitely coming back next time a little later to catch the lounge vibe. Once the manager told us they close once everyone leaves .... at that point we knew this was definitely going to be added to our rotation. Place just felt like it was alive and all the staff were genuinely nice and welcoming.

Fui a este restaurante el domingo para el Día de las Madres con mi familia. Antes de que yo llegara, mi hermano--que ya estaba esperando--nos preguntó a mi mamá y a mí qué queríamos comer y puso la orden unos 5-10 minutos antes de que yo llegara a las 9 PM. Una vez sentados, todos en la mesa fueron recibiendo su comida... EXCEPTO yo. Pedí un churrasco--algo que NO requiere UNA HORA Y MEDIA para cocinar. La mesera pasó tal vez tres veces. Le recordamos mi comida dos veces, y en la tercera visita dijo que la estaban preparando. Pero aún así, nada. Después de esperar UNA HORA Y MEDIA sin comida, mientras toda mi familia ya había terminado de comer, cancelé mi orden. Mi hermano pagó la cuenta, y mágicamente, la comida apareció. La devolvimos de inmediato--ya había dicho que NO la quería. Luego el gerente se acercó para decir que igual TENÍAMOS QUE PAGAR LA COMIDA. Le dijimos que absolutamente no. Esperamos demasiado, yo nunca comí, y la comida fue devuelta. Tuvo el descaro de MENTIR y decir que la comida se había ordenado hace solo 25 minutos. Eso es una MENTIRA total. Para colmo, HOY--martes--el restaurante le cobró $70 a mi familia SIN nuestra autorización. Son UNOS LADRONES. NO vengan aquí. Arruinaron nuestro Día de las Madres y nos robaron. ------ I went to this restaurant on Sunday for Mother's Day with my family. Before I even got there, my brother--who was already waiting--asked my mom and me what we wanted and placed our order about 5-10 minutes before I arrived at 9 PM. Once seated, everyone at the table slowly got their food... EXCEPT for me. I had ordered a churrasco--something that does NOT require AN HOUR AND A HALF to cook. The server came by maybe three times. We reminded her about my food twice, and on the third visit, she claimed it was being made. Still, nothing. After waiting AN HOUR AND A HALF with no food, while my entire family had already finished eating, I canceled my order. My brother paid the check, and then magically, the food appeared. We immediately sent it back--I had already said I didn't want it anymore. Then the manager came over to say we still had to PAY FOR THE MEAL. We said absolutely not. We waited far too long, I never ate the food, and it was sent back. He had the audacity to LIE and claim the food had only been ordered 25 minutes prior. That's a complete LIE. To make it worse, TODAY--Tuesday--my family was charged $70 by the restaurant WITHOUT our authorization. They are THIEVES. Do NOT come here. They ruined our Mother's Day and stole from us.

I would definitely recommend this place based on my experience. visited on a Saturday afternoon about 3pm, immediately you hear the latin music vibe going, we were seated quickly, lots of hood choices on the menu. We ordered the Sanchocho soup & a trifongo, also the chichiron de pollo platter. plus another chicharon de carne. The platter was plentiful with sauage, fried cheese & tostones. The soup was delicious & so was the trifongo. Everything was good although it took time for food to come out, it was worth the wait. Waitress was attentive filling up our sodas & bringing the requested sauces. Oh the flan was also yummy, a great end to a good meal. Will go back & try something new.

Never disappoints. Our server Juan was 10/10! So awesome.... Food was outstanding as always. Best mofongo in town hands down. Will keep coming here. Place looks nice and clean very welcoming.

Can I say that the best part about this place is Andres? As a family we went for lunch to celebrate a birthday and he was amazing. Providing recommendations for food, extremely attentive to our table, and was so quick with everything we ordered. It's a great vibe, good music and delicious food! A must try!

I love coming here to eat Dominican food. Our waiter Andres was phenomenal! I loveee his personality, he was comical, friendly and very attentive. Ask for Juan or Andres for your waiter and you will get EXCELLENT service! Yesterday's food was amazing! I felt like my grandma or one of my tia's was cooking in the kitchen....the food was flavorful and tasted like it was homemade! It was cooked with LOVE. They brought us "con con" with habichuelas rojas over it - omgggg, it was so delicious!! The guandules that came later were so good and the avocado was huge, on point and perfect! We were in Dominican food heaven!!! Whoever is in the kitchen cooking, make sure you keep them and give them a raise!!! LoL

My mother wanted to spend her birthday dinner here as we have never been here before and she heard great things about it. The location is a little out of the way in a large plaza but there's plenty of parking and it's easy to find. We were instantly greeted and seated. It was nice as we arrived around 6:30 so it was busy but not too busy or loud. We ordered Mofonguitos as our appetizer topped with shrimp. I believe you can get it with credo (pork) but I'm glad we got it with the shrimp. The mofongo was a nice balance of savory and sweet and really hit the spot. I ended up ordering a churrasco meal with tostones and white rice. I could've order anything on the menu as everything sounded and looked delicious, however, I'm a sucker for a great churrasco when I'm at authentic Latin places. The churrasco was extremely tender and the cut and portions of everything was pretty generous. I absolutely loved and practically devoured the tostones. Soft with a nice crunch too it. Great impact full flavor too. After we finished up and were waiting for our waitress to come back with the check another worker (she may have been the owner) came by our table to offer us sweets as well as mints. I thought this was nice! Plus, the lollipops were so good! I enjoyed this place as well as my family. My mother had a fantastic birthday dinner and we had a really pleasant time here. Would come back here whenever I'm in the mood for some delicious Dominican food.

Second time here this week. Everything was great! Our server Carlos was friendly and gave great recommendations! Food was delicious, flavor is always on point! Great ambience.

The worst dining experience ever. Do not visit this restaurant on a Sunday at 6pm. The waiters are distracted, the place is crowded, the service awful and the food disgusting. We waited for our food two hours. The music was so loud we could not engage in conversation. They ran out of lobster tails and gratuities automatically added. No way a second experience. Save yourself the cash and go somewhere decent.

I've made an order on DoorDash today , I went to share with my family and found a part of steel brush in it. We did not eat anything we ordered ., I've recommended this restaurant with many people ..... I will not go here again , they need to always check on quality before sending out the product

Llegué a cenar a las 9:00 pm 8/31/25 éramos 10personas a cenar y primero me dijeron los custodios. Que valet Parkin en un shopping que es libre los parqueos 15 dólares , le dije que no y me dijo bueno 10 , tampoco me interesó la oferta y cuando ya parqueo due llegamos a la puerta del restaurante me dicen a lasss9:00 pm que no hay comida , que se acabó ,eso lo vi como Burla de parte de ese negocio, de verdad muy mala impresión

Come with me to Yarumba Restaurant & Lounge located in Miami Lakes. Yarumba is a Dominican restaurant that was recommended to me by a friend. We went on a weekday, and it was quiet, but the friend who recommended it said it is a lot of fun on the weekends. It can be hard to find restaurants that make good traditional Dominican dishes in Miami, but Yarumba hit the mark. Yarumba's menu has the classics. For our drinks, we went with natural juices. I had the Morir Soñando, and my friend had the Passion Fruit Juice. Morir Soñando is a traditional Dominican drink of orange juice and evaporated milk; the one at Yarumba was excellent. My friend had La Bandera (Dominican Flag Platter) made of chicken or beef, rice, beans, plantains, sweet plantains, and avocado. The traditional Bandera is with chicken, but my friend chose beef. She said it was delicious, it did look delicious, and everything looked freshly made. I went with 4 Golpes made of mangu (mashed plantains), Dominican salami, longaniza, fried cheese, and a fried egg. The dish is called 4 golpes because of the four sides. The mangu was excellent and the sides as well. Even though I didn't eat the egg, I liked that they asked how I wanted it fried. Overall, Yarumba was excellent. The service was great. Our server provided feedback on the menu and answered all questions very nicely. The food was terrific, very well prepared and presented. I'm happy to have an option for good quality food from La Tierrita.

Awesome service delicious food. Liu is amazing , of all the restaurants I've dined at she is one the best server I've had always smiling bubbly spirit and always making sure you're ok her recommendations were on point. The. Music was an icing on the cake, ended up sitting and having drinks and just enjoying the ambience.

Wowwwwww, hands down the best mofongo in all of Miami. I get the mixed mofongo with half sweet & half green plantains, straight fueggggoooooo!!! I also get it with a small sancocho that is super delicious. One of my favorite meals in Miami

Had dinner here last night with girlfriends. It was delicious. There was lovely live music throughout the evening. Our server was wonderful. This place is for people who want to eat good food. Not pictured here was the house special dessert. Coconut cake with vanilla ice cream and sweetened condensed milk. It was delicious . It was gone so fast, we didn't get to take a picture. I recommend this restaurant for family or friends or all by yourself.

Food was Great. My daughter in law invited me to have lunch with her and my granddaughter. Drove About an hour to the restaurant. But it was well worth it. We had multiple different plates to share. We had a Mix Dominicans Appetizer a Mini mondongo, Mini sancocho. Avocado salad, to share. Then I got a triple mofongo with chicharron de celdo. My daughter in law ordered a chicharrón with rice and beans. Beautiful presentations. The server was amazing. Her name was Odalis. She even gave us a plate with concon and beans. The best. We also ordered a died dreaming ( morir soñando) it was good but a little thick. Needed a little more milk. But good.

Amazing! I was looking for a real authentic Dominican restaurant and I found it! Plenty of parking and very spacious inside. The ambiance was great. The service exceptional. This place has an awesome bar with a great variety of drinks! Plus the restaurant doubles as a dance club with live music and DJ. The food is nothing but amazing. The fried cheese, kipe, mofongo. Everything prepared to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic Dominican cuisine and a fun, lively atmosphere.

I gave this place 2 stars because to charge me $6 for 1 can of soda is price gouging. I could buy a 12pack for what I spent on 2 sodas. They are counting on most people being like me and not checking on the price on something that should be cheap like a soft drink. Food was good service was great. Manager stop overcharging for soda!!!

I came here for my grandmother's birthday and when I walked in, the place was beautiful with white light and some blue LEDs. The food was great my meat was juicy along with the mushroom sauce, and the Dominican cake was creamy with a hint of some coconut flakes. The my father knows the one server and he was a really great dude, apparently he was my dad's friend of his. Highly recommend this place. Just be ready for the prices. some are cheap and some that can make your pockets hurt. Either way, it's worth it

I was looking for a great Dominican restaurant since the one that I went to closed down. This place is very spacious and has a great vibe with music that isn't too loud that you can hear each other in conversation. The service was good and didn't take long for our waitress to take our drink order. Our waitress was very nice but English was limited. The menu was in Spanish so it was a bit difficult to navigate. Fortunately, we had a friend who could translate. I ordered the salmonfongo which was salmon on top of mofongo with grilled shrimp. The dish is served with a red salsa sauce which they were kind enough to change for a white queso sauce and the mofongo is made with maduro which they changed for green plantain. Only issue is the mofongo had pork in it which I do not eat. The dish was very tasty and I only noticed the pork towards the end of the meal. My friend had the oxtail which was flavored well but not as tender as we are used to. I would definitely like to try again and order differently so I can really enjoy my meal.

All of Yarumba's food is fresh and cooked perfectly, especially their seafood offerings.

Love this place. The service is amazing. The food is great. They give you "concon con habichuelas" instead of bread to start. We had the mofongo,, was really good. The Dominican cake was super! The coffee is the best. Try this place!

If you love Dominican food and Dominican/Spanish vibes this is the place you want to be. I've celebrated birthdays and New Years in this spot and it doesn't disappoint. Staff is awesome here from be door to your seat everyone is A1 Steak sauce haven't had issue yet. For those that love they Hookah they got you, drinks they got you. But on the real the food is off the chain. I know the chef personally and can say Chef Danny he throws down in the kitchen. You can really point at the menu and land on something and it will be off the charts. My favorite though is the Dominican Picadera which is a carnivores dream and the sautéed palomilla or sautéed chicken. Simple yet delicious. But like I said pick something on the menu and it's hard to be disappointed. Late night vibes on point with DJ or live music sometimes but certainly a place you can have some fun. Next time in Miami and looking for good food and great vibes go check this place out.

I love this place. Whether it's for dinner, dancing, date night or just drinks it is always and option. The food is amazing, reasonable prices and great staff. Great for families and groups also. Just tried their Thai snapper.... Amazing! Zero complaints. Everything is good, authentic and the staff is truly what makes it such a pleasant experience.

The food was excellent. It's a very busy restaurant and quite loud environment. The servers are friendly and quickly serve the food. The inside is not fancy at all and a bit of a turn off at first sight, but the food is worth it. Genuine Dominican food and very tasty. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Great place to come with family or friends for a night out! We got the picada for 2 and the chicken croquettes, it didn't blow me out of the water but was okay. I wish I would've tried the mofongo. It was a pretty busy Friday night but service was still great. I recommend for it for the great Spanish DJ. It almost feels like a club but without the sweaty bodies.
