I love their pastries, and I love coming there! This iconic Turkish bakery is located on Green lanes, the high street of the Turkish area of London. They bake bread and make authentic Turkish pastries on-site, from proper ingredients, and the result is absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, no seating whatsoever, but there are takeaway coffee options. The stuff is very friendly, and so are the prices :) all in all, I really like it.

This place really need to be renovated it looks so old and run down. The floor and walls do not look very clean and inside where they make the bread and cakes which you can not see but it could be worse. Also the staff are not very friendly and helpful when you speak to them and their prices not that cheap compare to other shops around.

Yaşa Halim is a landmark; a place where everyone should visit. In the heart of a wonderful neighbourhood this place has a long and distinguished reputation of being the very best bakery for atmosphere and produce.

I was a regular customer for their fresh cream cakes, but sadly I won’t be returning. The quality of their cakes have really gone downhill. The Black Forest cake we bought on 15th June was dry, lacked flavour, and had barely any cherry layer - nothing like it used to be, which ruined the occasion! Also, the lady asked if we would like a message on the cake and it seemed like it was free by the way she said it but we were charged £1 for a message on the cake without being informed upfront. Staff were not particularly friendly either. Disappointing experiences overall, especially as a once regular customer.

on’t recommend. The products are not fresh, and for the price I paid I expected the food to be acceptable. After the first spoonful, I couldn’t eat the rice pudding anymore. It was the worst I’ve ever had, and it cost £2.99

In my opinion, this place has gone downhill, dramatically a lot of the pastries just do not taste as good as before, the cakes look fantastic but are just average to taste, I will give it 6 months and try one more time if they are bad as this time then I will not be using them again. The time I went it would of been usually busy in there but as you can see their business is failing slowly, and it was very quiet in there if you at their trading status when they used to trade you will see how trading has gone down therefore there will be a large difference. I know exactly what’s going on here they are cutting corners to save money, but unfortunately the consumer does not end up satisfied so therefore I have rated this just a 2 star. I will keep you posted in six months time, and I will take pictures. and I will also post a video of the taste test with members of the public comparing to other bakeries.

The cakes are delicious, Ozlem was absolutely wonderful and helped me through a lengthy and complicated order, she was extremely kind, patient and professional. Thank you!

I bought a cake for my friend’s surprise birthday, but it was very bad. It seemed like it had been in the store for a long time, even though I specifically asked for a fresh one. I feel really embarrassed in front of my friends because I was only responsible for this one thing, and I tried my best. Unfortunately, your poor-quality cake ruined what should have been a special memory
