We tried a selection of appetizers and were very impressed with both the flavors and presentation. The Eggplant Mutabbal was creamy and well-balanced, with just the right amount of smokiness. The Muhammara was rich, slightly sweet, a definite standout. The Yalandji (stuffed grape leaves) were served warm, which was a pleasant surprise. They were incredibly flavorful, they literally melted in your mouth. Easily one of the best versions we’ve had. The Fattoush Salad was fresh with a perfect mix of crisp vegetables and a tangy dressing that tied everything together. We also ordered a side of pita bread, which was soft, warm, and perfect for scooping up the dips :) Overall, a beautifully balanced and satisfying start to the meal. Highly recommend ordering the full spread if you’re looking to experience a variety of bold and authentic Middle Eastern flavors.

We enjoyed our experience here at Yasma but the food can be better compared to the prices. The Kibbeh was cold when served, both the fried and the grilled. Overall the food was tasty and well made. The hummus was the next level with presentation and taste. Service was nice as well. I’m not a fan of very dark places, I wish there was more lights, especially on top of the table.

I hosted a company graduation event at Yasma and it was spectacular. Delicious food, great service and location for a wonderful evening. Wonderful Lebanese flavours and everything was beautifully plated. The appetizers of fattoush salad, hummus, fresh pita bread, muhammera (a multi-layered standout), spicy and fried kibbeh were all popular. The mains of mashawi - aleppo lamb, chicken, salmon and vegetarian skewers, as well as braised eggplant with goat cheese and walnuts in tangy tomato spice as the vegetarian option (vegan option also available) were really popular. Desserts of pistachio baklava and cardamom tiramisu were wow!!! There were also great wine options of chianti and red wine. Great and attentive service throughout the evening and a nice location at Coal Harbour. I will definitely host future company events here! Edit: Had a delicious dinner celebration here. The chickpea fatteh was nice, albeit a bit too creamy for my taste. The others enjoyed the muhammara and freshly baked pita, lamb and chicken skewers. Really delicious and amazing flavours!

I had a great experience at this Arabian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, offering the real taste of Mediterranean cuisine. From the perfectly seasoned meats to the fresh, flavorful sides, every dish was a delight. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic and satisfying Middle Eastern flavors.

Google
Very enjoyable experience. It’s not 100% authentic as they done some small modifications to the dishes, but i think they struck the right balance where the dishes still taste authentic with a fresh twist. Only downside is that some of the chairs were uncomfortable, service was a tad slow (although they were very busy) and prices a bit on the more expensive side (especially the apps) The hummus was incredibly, the best I’ve ever had In Canada Overall would highly recommend this spot

Google
The location and atmosphere were absolutely fantastic, and the customer service was great as well. They played instruments and added a warm sense of arabic music to the place. I ordered the Lamb Burger with Fries, but unfortunately, I wasn’t happy with my choice. The burger was difficult to bite into, and the meat had a strong lamb scent and was extremely greasy. I felt uncomfortably heavy for hours after eating. The price was relatively high compared to the portion size.

Google
Lovely food and experience! We tried their baba ganoush, fresh pita, toum, falafel, sheesh tawouk, sambousak and lentil soup and everything was amazing! Special mention for the best pita in town! Also, had their baklava to end the meal, which was also great! The service here is excellent and the hosts are really warm. They suggested great options based on our preferences. Note that the kitchen closes at 9pm, so do try to arrive earlier than that even though the place closes at 10pm.

Google
The food is excellent and the presentation and selection is beautiful. I highly recommend the labneh and spiced potatoes. The dessert is adequate as well, please try it. While the music that is contained in the atmosphere could be reduced in volume to create a more serene environment along the water, the quality of the food and service and interior decoration of the restaurant form a positive impression of the location overall. Thank you.

Yelp
Nestled in the heart of Vancouver, Yasma offers a culinary voyage through the vibrant flavors of Lebanese cuisine. From the moment you step in, the aroma of spices and warmth envelops you, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Let's start with the Fattoush salad, a delightful medley of fresh greens, crisp vegetables, and bursts of flavor from the juicy pomegranate seeds. Each bite is a refreshing symphony of textures and tastes, perfectly balanced to awaken the palate. Next up, the grilled Kabbeh steals the show with its expertly mixed spices, creating a harmonious blend of savory goodness. Every bite is a testament to Yasma's dedication to perfection, leaving you craving for more. The drink options, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic, complement the meal impeccably. Whether you opt for a traditional Lebanese arak or a refreshing mint lemonade, each sip adds to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. And let's not forget about the desserts - a unique and flavor-bursting finale to your meal. From delicate baklava to indulgent knafeh, Yasma offers a sweet conclusion that leaves a lasting impression. Beyond the culinary delights, Yasma's welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff elevate the dining experience to new heights. The genuine hospitality radiates throughout the restaurant, making you feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in. In conclusion, Yasma is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary journey through the rich flavors and traditions of Lebanese cuisine. With impeccable dishes, delightful drinks, and a warm ambiance, Yasma is a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts and adventurers alike.

Yelp
Holy smokes the people that work there are nice, service was amazing. We came with a baby and they accommodated us very well. Food was bomb.com, can't say I know much about syrian food but that humus platter was amazing, the kebabs were amazing and the mint lemond was basically the best drink I've had. Highly recommend this place for the great atmosphere, service and food.

Yelp
Syrian food is not a cuisine you see everywhere so popped in to see if they could squeeze us in on a busy and warm Friday night. They had room for us at the bar where you could get the whole food menu. A super friendly bartender took our order and recommended some amazing Lebanese wine by the glass. If you go, try an assortment of the mezze--we had both hot and cold ones and they were all delicious. And the freshly baked pita bread that comes with your meal--so tasty. We stuffed ourselves so no room for dessert unfortunately. Definitely will return next time I'm in the Coal Harbour area.

Yelp
Syrian and Lebanon food. Yasma Sometimes I ordered a dish that I cooked at home and judged the restaurant based on my cooking of the dish. I cooked a pretty good (based on friends and family reviews ) lentil soup. Lentil soup at Yasma is Wickedly Excellent. I the combination of pomegranate molasses , red peppers, cumin and nuts (Muhammara). Don't forget to try Fattoush Salad (delicious mixture of cucumber, tomato and a few other ingredients with fried pita bread topping) We had Grilled Kibbeh too. A place to go or to impress a guest...Having dinner overlooking the water, watching all boats and people passing by. Service is good too. I will definitely come back again to try more dishes.

Yelp
If I could give them 10 stars, I would. This restaurant is so gorgeously decorated. The staff are so friendly and do an amazing job with their service. But most of all is the food. I can't get over how delicious it is! A place I'd love to go to again

Yelp
Food was average. Service was below par, we were rushed to finish dinner, we were told dessert was sold out at 8.00 pm including coffee. We think it was a ruse to kick us out early so they can seat another group. What a lack of consideration as we were celebrating a birthday! A first and a last for us!

Yelp
You wanna try middle eastern/arabic food in an upscale restaurant with a great view ? YASMA is the greatest answer to that : - staff and service: 10/10 - location and theme : 9/10 ( just hoped it would have been bigger) - Food : * Hummus : 8.5/10 : great texture but lacking a bit more of lemon juice. * Fried Kebba : 9/10 * Spicy potato : 8/10 : could have been spicier * Toshka and fries : 10/10 : Perfect sandwich * Mshawi : mixed grill platter : Aleppo kebab was the star(12/10). chicken was good(9/10) and lamb one was ok(7/10) Wanna come back to try the rest of the menu !

Yelp
Yasma was a great place to dine at when visiting Vancouver. We had a blast. Everything was so delicious and delightful. Atmosphere and Service were great too. We recommend it to everyone wants to taste Syrian/Lebanese food with a touch of luxury.

Yelp
If you have never tried Lebanese or Syrian cuisine then you should definitely visit this restaurant. We made reservations a couple of days before and I highly recommend that because it is not a big restaurant thus you are likely have to wait without reservations in advance. They offer a tasting menu that's $89 per person for a minimum of 2 and everyone on the table must order the same. We decided to go à la carte instead fearing the 8 course tasting menu might be too much for the 2 of us. We ended up ordering Babba Ganouch, Fattoush Salad, Fried Kibbeh and Skewer of the Day. Babba Ganouch is made of eggplant with some roti pita bread on the side. Those roti is great and they come out hot to touch hence extremely fresh and tasty. I'm not sure what the proper way of eating that was but we just filled the roti with Babba Ganouch and it was great. Our server also brought more roti before we even asked. Fattoush salad was fantastic with great taste and little carb. Fried kibbeh was a little underwhelming though the dipping sauce was great. Overall I think this place has great service. Our server was very attentive and took the time to explain and recommend dishes for us. The food we had tasted great and looked pleasant too.

Yelp
Yasma offers gracious hospitality and tasty food. Highlights include the Aleppo kabab and the muhammara (which was bright and delicious). It was dark when I went, but I bet the views are lovely. Enthusiastically recommend!

Yelp
Best Mediterranean food ever. I was traveling for a conference and ended up having dinner here. Service is amazing. Indoor and outdoor seatings with nice ambiance

Yelp
What a day well worth spent! Spent $120 for two persons for this lebanese x syrian food; it was worth every penny. I do not usually give 5 star reviews and this is one of the few which has gotten it, so this is going to be one of my favourite restaurants in town. Before I depict to the food, I would like to thank my server, Shadi, for being super helpful recommending the food since it was my first time coming there. Shadi was very kind and insightful explaining the dishes as well. He is totally one of my favourite servers in town. My guy is the salt bae in town! For the food: - Unlimited Pita: You can get unlimited freshly baked pita which was so damn good. I have eaten so many but this is totally the best one i have ever had in ny life. - Babba Ganouch ($17): A smoked eggplant with diced vegetables, herbs, pomegranate molasses and walnuts was truly amazing. The texture of the aubergine was just fits so well to mix with the others and the bread. (5/5) - Kibbeh Niyah ($25): The lamb tartare with cracked burgul, peppers and herbs were just the star of the main dish! This is truly amazing and definitely is something you should get. I wish i could order more if i have the stomach to! (5/5) - Tabouleh Salad ($21): The parsley with tomato, onion, cracked wheat and lemon juice are just so fresh to be eaten in the beginning and in the end. It cleanse your mouth basically and just fits to be mixed with the other food and the bread and especially with the kibbeh niyah! Should get this if you order the kibbeh niyah. (5/5) - Shish Tawouk ($26): The yoghurt marinated chicken breast is just damn good especially the dip. These two just make perfect sense. The fries i love fries and it was super delicious. Tip is that combine all of the side dishes with the chicken, the dip and the bread, and you would not be disappointed. I personally hate the shallot though because it made me cry and had my nose blocked, so make sure you combined them all to prevent this from happening! (4/5) - Qatiyef ($14): The folded pancake with clotted cream inside and rinsed with rose water syrup and powdered pistachio made me feel like Anton Ego when he ate the ratatouille; it made me miss home since it is similar to a dish where i came from. What a truly magnificent dish that i could not describe with words. (5/5) Overall, I love Yasma extremely much. This is totally a recommended place to go to if you are visiting Vancouver from outside town or if you are in downtown. You truly cannot miss this place. Cheers! I hope you find this review helps! P.S. Pro tip from Shadi is that you should mix all the food like gado-gado and they said you would finally feel what heaven is like. Also, the owner of Yasma owns the Dark Table as well!

Yelp
This restaurant has a wonderful view of the marina and is close to Stanley Park. It has outdoor and indoor seating. We found the staff to be polite and friendly. Loved the dishes they served the food in. The food itself was average. I had the Shish Tawouk, which tasted okay. It could have been seasoned better. Also, I was disappointed that they did not offer rice with it. However, the vegetables offered were tasty. My husband had Fatteh Hummus since he is vegetarian. It was a very filling dish, which was different from anything we had tasted before.

Yelp
****MUST EAT HERE**** If you're looking for fresh delicious food and great service don't look anywhere else! I have been here for days and finally found a place that I will never forget. The flavors, presentation and service was above and beyond. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out. DELICIOUS

Yelp
I went with my boyfriend to this restaurant couple weeks ago. The atmosphere and setting is mediocre. We ordered a few appetizers like hummus, salad, dip and two chef tasting menus. The tasting menu is $89 per person. It came with just a few vegetarian appetizers and two small pieces of chicken and lamb. The bill with tips came to $300. I don't think I will go back again.

Yelp
Wonderful refined flavors of the Levant, a region that includes Syria and Lebanon. The textures, temperature and quality of the food were excellent; very friendly server and staff; located along the end of the sea wall bike path before reaching Stanley Park facing the harbor and marine dock. Freshly baked pita bread, chicken and steak kabobs cooked to the perfect temperature, wonderful fresh fattoush salad and tasty hearty hummus! The flavors all blend well. Recommend! But, WARNING if you have a NUT allergy! We disclosed to our server our high allergy to all nuts. She too understood as she also has a nut allergy. When the special of the day kebab came out, there were large walnuts underneath the meat! My son had already taken a few bites, but luckily he noticed the walnuts in time and our server was very apologetic.

Yelp
Food is great. One of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I have been to in North America. I visited once with my family and once with my business guests. In both occasions, we had left the establishment very satisfied. There is no laundry list of items in the menu. So, I pretty much tried everything in their menu. I can say that all of them were quite good. The servers (Lebanese lady in the first visit and Russian lady in the second one) were polite and attentive. When visited with my family, my kids liked the puffy bread they served. The server (Lebanese lady) who was very friendly brought one large bread for the kids to take home. Also, I ended up meeting the owner (or co-owner), Mo. He mentioned that they barbecue the meat in charcoal and his barbecue chef is from Middle East. Those explain the taste of their dishes.

Yelp
Great authentic food , fantastic cocktail menu, and delicious Arak! Will definitely be back

Yelp
Yasma has the elements of greatness. First the food is really good. Having lived and worked around the Mediterranean for decades I can honestly say meals at Yasma rank with the very best in that part of the world. Second, the staff led by the wonderful Huda is terrific. She always has a friendly greeting, and the service is attentive, efficient and never obtrusive. Meals never fail to be enjoyable. And third, the location along the water rivals Mediterranean harbour view framed by mountains. When we think of going out for a meal Yasma is generally top of mind.

Yelp
Incredible and authentic Lebanese that leaves you with a refreshed and satisfied feeling when finished.

Yelp
My friend Raegan and I ate at Yasma on June 14. Raegan said it was the best food she had ever tasted. Rosa helped us select a wine, giving us tasters before we selected a bottle. She explained the menu very well, and we went with a couple of her suggestions and a couple of our own. The Baba Ganoush was unbelievable. Coupled with a Fattoush salad it was an amazing first course. For the main course we split a Shish Tawouk and an Aleppo Kabab (one skewer of each) plus the Fatteh of the day. With unlimited fresh bread, it was an amazing meal. Plus the location (on the patio, with a view of coal harbour, Stanley Park and the north shore mountains) you cannot beat the location. We will definitely be back, and with more friends next time. TIP: arrive by 5 pm, or make a reservation. When we left, the restaurant was packed and there was a line-up outside. Owner Moe Alameddine thanked us both as we were leaving, and welcomed us back next time we visit. The staff were like family. The food was like heaven. I am already planning my next visit to Yasma.

Yelp
Such a great experience we had it yesterday. We were group of 13 person celebrating B-day one of my friend. So we choose Yasma Restutant for our gathering and our experience was great. I would thank specially the supervisor Razan and the the waiter Pualina they provided great service, and everything went smoothly and correctly.

Yelp
One of the hidden gems of Vancouver's Coal Harbour neighborhood. Located right across from the water, Yasma offers delicious, authentic Syrian and Lebanese cuisine. The staff is welcoming, super friendly, and Huda, Maria, and Paulina are beautiful. Try the Aleppo kebab, the hummus is the best in the northwest, and their salads are creative and filling. WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Bill F.

Yelp
My beloved and I stumbled upon this wonderful place, and felt so lucky that we ate dinner here. Kudos to Miriam for her excellent service. The dishes we ordered were exquisite. Watching the focus of all the staff on each and every table was as cool as viewing the harbor and nearby ambiance. Planning to make this a destination when next we return.

Yelp
Our experience was the best. Having recently visited Switzerland and Israel and eaten amazing Mediterranean food Yasma rates near the top. Our lamb,, salad and hummus was so delicious!!

Naomi R.

Yelp
Very good service by the manager. He guided us (newbies in lebanese food) and made good recommendations. I normally do not eat lambs as they have a strong taste and smell, however I was pleasantly surprised by the raw lamb. It was good. The dessert was amazing too ! (We got the fried dessert with cream inside it)

Sanjay R.

Yelp
Great food and service plus lovely location and ambiance. Highly recommended. Reasonably priced for the quality

Yelp
Best view ever , close to ocean with lots of yachts in front. I tried sambousak abd babba ganoush as appetizer and grilled kibbeh n shish tawouk as main course. All tasted good ... i strongly recommended . Only one thing : a constant annoying alarm was ringing .... Apart from , everything was nice

Eric B.

Yelp
Fantastic middle eastern food, everything is very tasty and authentic. Staff is friendly and warm. Highly recommend it.

Toni M.

Yelp
Food is decent but horrible customer service. Asked how a dish is prepared and server looked as if we should have known. Menu doesn't tell you much details so we asked and return she was rude and snarky. Very unwelcoming!

Joe M.

Yelp
One of the problems with dining at Yasma is that all of the other various Mediterranean restaurants you used to enjoy are now going to appear dull. At Yasma, the flavors are bigger, the ingredients fresher, and the ambiance livelier. You will find yourself slowing down to savor each bite. Get a table while you can.

Khorshid F.

Yelp
Great environment, food was amazing. Great service. It is a little bit expensive!!!!!
