7 Best Nashville Breweries to Visit for Craft Beer in 2021 - AFAR

"Housed in the historic Marathon Motor Works building on the banks of the Cumberland River in Madison, this brewery features a sizable indoor taproom and a scenic outdoor patio and is best known for fruity, funky sours and a frequently changing, seasonal menu (including offerings like a pumpkin ale in autumn). Saturday brewery tours are offered but are currently limited to 12 guests." - Mae Hamilton

The Gulch’s Loss Is Madison’s Gain as Yazoo Brewing Plans Massive New Campus - Eater Nashville

"Yazoo Brewing Company, Nashville’s largest craft brewer, has landed its new home, as a move to Madison is in its future. The 15-year-old brewery closed on the purchase of a six acre parcel at 900 River Bluff Drive in December, snagging an undeveloped swath of land just off of Myatt Dr. that overlooks the Cumberland River. Founder and brewmaster Linus Hall says that along with the expanded production facility, the Yazoo campus will also include a taproom, as well as a dedicated outdoor event space." - Matt Rogers

We love Yazoo Brewing Company! Every time we visit, it’s always a great experience. The staff members are always very friendly and helpful with the menu. We love the Gerst and the Czech lager. Both are fantastic! It’s always very clean inside when we visit, and they have great seating options both inside and outside. I love that they offer food items as well! Perfect lunch or dinner spot. Highly recommend Yazoo Brewing Company!

I like this place. Typical back end industrial complex, but when you walk in, it's got a great brewery feel. Had myself some wing and fries from the independent food stuff store inside the building. Beers are good. I've had the same all around, a nice to like-brown ale wasn't watery, and a classic Czech pilsner hit the spot. I like the Santa's summer vacay and the calla IPA the best. 6 serving flight! Nice. Worth the visit, they got a whole menu of beer not just 5 or 6. Atmosphere is open, plenty of tables and bar stools alike. Service was good, knowledgeable beer drafters helping me pick out my first time here beers. When I had my visit I noticed kids were welcomed if that helps. Thank you I enjoyed my visit. Thanks Ty for recommendations.

Google
Easily the best brewery in the state. Their flagship beer is phenomenal, their sour lineup is exquisite, and their small batch seasonal endeavors are always gone in a flash. Can't recommend stopping by here to try the beer enough. They've been my go to brewery for well over a decade at this point and it's crazy it's taken me so long to leave a review.

Google
Awesome place! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The Imperial Cider is the best. The outside patio is beautiful with a view. I like that it is kid and dog friendly. If you don't order the fries, you're missing out on the best fries ever! Order yourself the fish chips and fries basket. You won't regret it! I've only been here twice, I'm from Buffalo, NY, and can't wait to come back for a visit. Great job to everyone at Yazoos!

Google
What a beautiful brewery!! Good beer, great staff, delicious food and a majestic outdoor seating area to watch sunset from. The pictures absolutely don’t do a justice to this place, and I’d highly recommend them. I’d rate the beer 4/5 but my boyfriend’s all-time favorite beer is from Yazoo. I visited this place with my friends and immediately texted him that we must come here together because you’re gon love this place. I went there pretty late, so kitchen was closed but my best friend ordered fries and they were yumilicious, specially their hot ketchup. The fries 🍟 were so flavorful. I don’t like this cut usually, but I’d make an exception for their fries because they were seasoned well and their ketchup for elevating them for sure. There’s plenty of parking on site, that’s a plus when you drive away from the city. A bit of a drive if you’re living in the city like me, but I’d go to a length saying they were worth the drive. The staff was so friendly. Their attention to detail is noteworthy — they don’t serve beer in chilled glass because they want you to acutely taste the beer and the colder it is, the less you can taste the flavor. The glassware in which they were serving the beer was also different for different beer (not sure if that was the coincidence but for our party of 5, we all had a different kind of glassware). Everyone loved what they ordered, both food and beer. I tried their lager Czech lager and River lager, both were great. I can’t wait to go there again!

Google
We did not try the beer, but the food was absolutely amazing. The local grass fed beef patties were fresh, juicy, and delicious The buns were grilled and the homemade fries were hot and crispy. And it came out in under ten minutes. We will be back!

Google
First time visiting but overall experience was excellent. Had Donovan as server at bar, and was perfect and patient in his help and recommendations. Beer was great and not overpriced. Separate restaurant had best fries I ever had.

Google
Awesome little brewery tucked away from the rush of downtown Nashville. I came here on a Friday afternoon after a flight to kill some time. Ordered a flight with mostly IPAs. Everything was smooth and refreshing! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Excellent brewery close to Old Hickory, TN. Family and pet friendly with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There were 5 adults and 1 toddler in our group and the outdoor space was ideal to relax and let our toddler have some fun. It was a chilly afternoon but one of the workers came out and let the fire pit for us which made it very cozy! We didn't try any food but the beers and ciders were delicious.

Yelp
I have always loved the location in East Nashville and have been eating there for years and I had no idea they opened one in Madison where I live. When I found out yesterday, I immediately called in a order and picked it up and brought it home. When I saw the size of this patty compared to the bun and compared to all the burgers I have ever eaten at the one in East Nashville. I was so disappointed. These patties have shrunk over half the size that they used to be and it was really salty. I have never been so disappointed in my life in a hamburger. The french fries were spot on delicious but this hamburger... For $13 you would expect a little more meat.

Yelp
This is my in-laws go-to place for hangouts and we love it. Their kitchen has good food (including a yummy veggie burger ) and we love bringing my dog and hanging out on the patio. It's never too crazy here so we don't get overwhelmed and can kick back and enjoy our beer in peace. I also love the rotating sours they always have

Yelp
I love having this friendly neighborhood hang in Madison! With fire pits, board games, delicious food and beautiful views, you definitely won't get bored while drinking a beer at Yazoo. The Grillshack next to the bar sells good burgers and fries, we were pleasantly surprised to see both black bean burgers and Impossible burgers on the menu for vegetarian friends! They dyed the beers green for St. Paddy's day as a nice festive touch. The beer was super affordable and tasty too, I'd definitely come back to take a tour of the brewery
google avatar

Shasta S.

Yelp
Brewery tour was fun - they were generous with the samples they gave. Place was clean and large with lots of seating. They had board games to borrow which was cool. Bartenders friendly and helpful with recommendations. The french fries were some of the best we've had. Parking was ample. Will definitely come again. Edited to add - And the beer was amazing!! Can't believe I forgot that part!
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot with scenic view over a fun little pond area that collects wildlife and views of deer frolicking around the water. Very cute. Love that it's spaceous, they have monthly open mic comedy nights and their kitchen is Grillshack Burger! What's great about this Grillshack to the other ones is they have a Fish and Chips special that exceeded expectations and I hope they'll make it a permanent add to the other spots. It's crunchy without being greasy, well-seasoned and not flimsy batter where it has the weird soggy layer above the fish. The white fish is also flaky and seasoned as well. Come for beer, stay for a meal and possibly live music or look up for when Comedy Night is going on. It's worth it. They need more people to appreciate the comedy.

Yelp
On the food it looked good. Hamburger looked like the fave with fresh locale bread and cut fries. The beer was as fantastic. I had the Black Beauty X 2. Unique dark beard with a sweet bite. The bluff over looking the Cumberland was nice. Plenty of chairs and tables. Families were picnicking and at least 12 had their dogs. It was trivia night and and about 40 folks were playing. Funny thing is as a kid I use to hunt back in that area. I wish I had visited earlier in time.

Yelp
It's quite the journey from Williamson county, so I won't be visiting but once every blue moon or so. It's a huge, clean, nice space, with some really great seating outside, even by the river. The folks there were all friendly and helpful, and it's fun to try some of the unusual brews they offer and pick up some packs of favorites that aren't available elsewhere. A little sad they didn't choose to land on my side of town, but if you're anywhere north, it's well worth a visit.

Yelp
What a GREAT Local Venue for Beer, Atmosphere and service!! Servers are ON POINT and know their products, Friendly Easy place to hang out. Had great pub food from the grill onsite. Highly Recommend you visit
google avatar

Yelp
I've always been a fan of Yazoo beer. Since the move from the gulch to Madison, the brewery has grown and has such a beautiful location to hang out at and enjoy their products. Then they added the indoor yet separate business of Grill Shack. Love their burgers and fries etc. The folks that work there are all over the top nice people so it always brings my mood up to go there and have a pint or two or three.
google avatar

Marla T.

Yelp
Great hidden gem! Love the vibe and trying the seasonal flavors. Definitely recommend a flight. Also the food they now serve is great. Love the fries!
google avatar

Yelp
Yazoo has the best beer in Nashville - no doubt! Their Madison location is so spacious and the views are incredible. The beertenders are so fun and sweet. I miss living in the area and coming here all the time. I can't wait to go back to visit and enjoy their incredible service in the future!

Yelp
Great beer selection and the food is on point! Service very good! Chill place to try some beers. Fries are ridiculously outstanding. We will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
We went to Yazoo brewery because of the food truck but, I tried a flight of their beer and I liked it! This is a great place to hang out with friends or family. If you are sitting outside you can bring your dog and chill out. They have tours on weekends so, I will have to came back with the fellas one weekend to have some brews and stogies! I included a picture of their tour hours and they have other events that take place as well. They have a stage inside so, they must had live bands occasionally and I would imagine this place is a blast with the right band or DJ!
google avatar

Blake M.

Yelp
Tucked out in Madison this place gives you everything you're looking for. Good beer, good food great vibes. The folks are always knowledgeable and kind. There a shelves stocked with board games and merch because once you've had a yazoo beer you'll want to tell folks all about it.
google avatar

Michael A.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and good food and beers, brought our kids and they had a blast, and enjoyed the burgers.

Yelp
Yazoo is great! We've been here a few times over the past few years and they always have something fun on draft. Their sours are very good and they have lots of varied styles, so there is something for everyone here. The taproom is quite large and they have a lot of patio space, so it has room for small or large groups. There's plenty of parking outside too. We've done the tour before and it was enjoyable and definitely worth it if it's your first time here. The beer is very affordable too and it's just a really nice brewery overall!
google avatar

Abe E.

Yelp
Consistent quality beer everytime. Has a variety of beer and sours available. Social bartenders and atmosphere. You must stop by the taproom if you're in Nashville Pictured is Foudre Noir

Yelp
My family Went to this dope brewing company on a whim because my wife likes an empanada truck that was there. Yelp was holding an event. We Got to speak to the as I call him "Yelp Master" Mr.Nate He was holding an event here that had some Food trucks! Beautiful place and the ambience is chill. Beer is goodI I tried something new to me. The "Citraluxe" ¿A sour beer? Definitely different and I loved it. For a Tuesday night the place had a steady crowd (probably because the Yelp event) so service was great 5/5 can recommend this place

Yelp
It was my first time at Yazoo Brewing company on 6/2/22. This is a nice brewery that has lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We got there just in time to see a beautiful Sunset Yazoo has a nice selection of beer and a few appetizers. I would for sure come back when I am in town again.

Yelp
#32 - When planning a trip to Nashville for Ben's birthday, I have to map out the local breweries for him of course. This includes checking sites like Groupon that offer deals on drinks or in this case, a brewery tour that includes beer tasting. Naturally, our first stop for our little vacation was a brewery before we even checked into our AirBNB. Yazoo has since moved to a new location, but the location we visited in the Gulch was great. We got there early and it was a good thing we did. The place filled up and quick! We got set up for a 12pm brewery tour and while we waited, we did a flight. Luckily, the beertender knew we were going on the tour so advised us against doing any beers (some of their flagships) that we would have on the tour, leaving more options for us to pick. Great service on that! On our flight we had Grisette, Foudre Noire, Cream Ale, Yazoo 15th Anniversary Ale, Hop Perfect and Daddy-O Pilsner.

Heather L.

Yelp
The people working there were great! The food, though limited was tasty! And the beer of course was delicious! Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
What an awesome spot! Very chill vibe. Food Truck or tent is there on the weekend. Very friendly staff. They are following safety procedures. Lots of excellent beer options.

Yelp
My husband and I went to Yazoo for a casual anniversary lunch today. We loved that this place is located in this part of town...it's kind of like a hidden gem! There is plenty of space and a great patio with outdoor seating and a view of the Cumberland River out back. They have an extensive beer menu, obviously. However, they also have some hard ciders, which as a non-beer fan, was pleasant for me. I ordered the Adult Grilled Cheese and he ordered the Hot Chicken sandwich. My adult grilled cheese was good...like, REALLY good. My husband said that his meal was very good as well, with great prices. Everything was clean and everyone was friendly. This is definitely on my list of places to return in the future!
google avatar

Molly B.

Yelp
Yazoo beer is a staple in Nashville. It's always fresh, crisp beer and knowledgeable staff to help you decide. I thoroughly enjoy the outdoor area, I'll be back again for sure!
google avatar

Stephanie D.

Yelp
So wanted to check out the Yazoo brewery since we were in the neighborhood on our Saturday ride. It is a very large space and has lots of different craft beers on tap. We only could snag the last 2 seats at the bar since there was a private party on the other side. The staff is friendly not as open to chit chat as other breweries I have gone to in Nashville. It was quite busy so that might be the reason. My husband got one of the pilot series Irish stout, he liked it but stated it is no Guinness. I felt rushed to order and not very helpful staff on narrowing down the menu of craft beers so I went to my instinct and got there Hefeweizen pint. It was ok, it had the clove forward and not much banana undertones that I usually like. My hubby ended up finishing for me so I could try my hand in one I would like better. Again, hoping to have some insight on beers from staff, but not much help there. I went with a farmhouse ale, which was better but not sure I would get that one either. I should have followed the trend of patrons that were ordering the Czech lager, that seem to have a lot of pouring from the tap. Maybe next time. I do love the outdoor space that they have would be fun to come back and bring food or order from a food truck when it's there to hang on the outdoor patio. Maybe we will give this a second shot. Have to say the Wi-Fi was very slow in the bar.

Don C.

Yelp
What a great experience we had at Yazoo brewery on Valentine's Day evening the beer was great the food was superb and a service excellent I hope they surely do this again and more often goodness gracious it was good
google avatar

Mike W.

Yelp
I think I found my favorite brewery in Nashville. I went here with a friend, who after a bit of a drive said "are you sure we're going to the right place?" Turns out they moved not too long ago from downtown to the 'burbs in a gorgeous new facility. We came here during the summer of COVID so things weren't necessarily in full swing, but I was appreciative of the outdoor/indoor space they had so that you could spread out. We tried several varieties of their beers and enjoyed each. They have a small snacks menu with mostly finger food, we got the pimento cheese and crackers, which was a little different than what I was expecting, but still tasty (see photo). Good selection of to go cans, and they will let you mix and match a six pack. Perfect to squeeze in my checked bag when we flew home the next day!
google avatar

Scott B.

Yelp
Cool brewery. Outstanding customer service at the bar. The bartender kept the samples coming without me even asking. After four or five tastes, I went with their cream ale: it was very smooth and silky tasting in fairly light. If you were hungry like I was, order the very tasty Pad Thai from the food truck parked in the parking lot and they will happily deliver it to you as you sip your beer.
google avatar

Jim T.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best craft breweries I've ever been to. The Hefeweizen is unlike any other and it is one of my Top 10 all time beers for sure. They opened at 3pm on the Monday we went and there were a few others waiting with us for it to open. I also tried the Spring Single which was super good as well, but the Hefeweizen was the showstopper for both my girlfriend and I. There were about 8-10 other beers on tap and beer/growlers to go. They also have a little area with t-shirts, glasses and other gear. The place is pretty no frills, smallish with a small bar and some tables but it filled up nicely around 4:30-5:00 and even more when we returned. We even went to a local competitor and decided to come back to Yazoo because we liked their selection a lot more. Awesome spot, check it out! Side note: I believe there are no tours Mon-Weds but tours every other day.
google avatar

Jo S.

Yelp
Highly recommend getting a table as soon as you get in and then have someone order drinks as the place can get packed pretty quickly. We got there early for our brewery tour so had a drink before, the sour beer was perfect for a hot day. During the tour you only get three tastings so it works to have a drink before or after, or both. There isn't much walking in the tour as the place is not that big but you do stand the entire time while the tour guide talks.
google avatar

Lucy T.

Yelp
This place was alright. They only had beer as drink options so I didn't try anything. The atmosphere was nice, and seemed like a chill place to hang out with friends at.
google avatar

Sara E.

Yelp
The sampler is the way to go for checking out and finding your Yazoo love. While the Dos Perros may be a popular choice I enjoyed their Hop Perfect IPA. The standard sampler give you a taste of the standard beers or you can go with a custom sampler and try a few others. We came back the next night for a tour which was about 45 minutes. Lucas was our tour guide and he made the time fly by! On the tour you get a small beer can shaped glass at the beginning of the tour and you are able to enjoy three nice sized samples of beers along the way. Very in They do close at 9pm, at least during the week, and do have last call 30 minutes prior with no serving after 8:45. We didn't get down there until about 8, so no time to enjoy another beer for us. Make sure you plan to stop here early in the day/evening if you'd like to take your time and enjoy a couple of beers. There is an outside area as well so you can enjoy a Nashville night under the stars.
google avatar

Shelly B.

Yelp
Dogs not allowed inside a brewery is a huge turn off. The beer was decent, but 15 for a sampler is a little high.

Donna J.

Yelp
Loved their sour beers. Friendly service. A little bit of a drive from town (was advertised as a Nashville brewery, but is a bit far out of town), but totally worth it.
google avatar

Dawn H.

Yelp
So, I'd been visiting restaurants and bars all over Nashville for about a week drinking this new beer I found that I liked so much. I even ask one of the 'tenders at "The Biodome" (a.k.a., Gaylord Opryland) we were staying at about where it was brewed and they told me "somewhere in Tennessee, but not Nashville." Me, "Okay." [I was getting it served draft so couldn't look at bottle.] The last night of the trip I booked a "Brewery Tour" for the hubs and I and after visiting 3 other spots, guess where we ended up? Yup! Yazoo Brewing Co - right in the heart of Nashville! I decided to forego a flight (6 4 oz pours?) and instead sampled a couple of their other brews because I was pretty sure I knew what I wanted. You can purchase any pints on tap (most 5 bucks) or get a 5 oz draft o' choice for $2. Standouts for me were the Daddy-O pilsner (extra points just for having such a cool name) and of course the German malty Gerst that I'd been slamming back all trip. The hubs really enjoyed the Hoppy DIPA...and of course he had to buy a cap. Overall: Cool brewery, nice vibes, larger selection than many other crafts I've visited. Lots of tables to chill and relax at. Yazoo's also offers up some bar bites if you so please. Can't go wrong with the beer cheese dip. :D Cheers to good beer! "I am the eggman...I am the walrus..." *Taproom hours are Wed-Thu 3-9pm; Fri 2-9pm; & Sat 11-9pm. Tours for purchase, $8.50 p/p; reservation required. They also accept walk-up tix on first come first serve basis.

Yelp
We went here on our visit to Nashville in January 2021. Great beers, average pizza, and location.
google avatar

Yelp
We went on the brewery tour during our trip to Nashville. The tour was very interesting and the guide was informative and personable. My boyfriend loved the tour and the beer. We hung out for a little bit afterwards so he could sample a few more beers that weren't included on the tour. I, myself, am not a beer drinker although they really did try to find me something I would like. They have a really cool vibe inside, including board games and lounging areas, and a really nice patio as well.

Yelp
If ya havin problems wit da animals mon, then ya need to git sum propa security at yazoo mon. I support local breweries even though I am of the opinion that American Beer is really not as good as a lot of the hipsters are telling me that it is. Yes the USA has come a long way, but Europe is the gold standard and nothing here has ever really impressed me to the degree that European stuff does. However what I will say is that it's a lot better than it used to be, and Yazoo is one of the great examples of how good beer can be made in America. This one is among my favorites, and it has the recognition and notoriety within Nashville that it deserves because of that.
google avatar

Jessica Z.

Yelp
New favorite Nashville brewery? This place was AWESOME. If you're looking to get out of the city, enjoy nature, drink some excellent beer, and just relax with friends for a while - THIS PLACE is it. My friend and I stopped by last Thursday and were immediately impressed but the openness of the space. All the doors were open to the outside patio overlooking the river. We even saw deer frolicking in the nearby forest. There were tons of outdoor games and comfy seating options for groups of all sizes. Everyone was friendly and inviting, and the service was excellent. Not to mention the beers are incredible. The Yazoo Gerst has always been a favorite of mine. I tried the Dos Perros as well, and really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back here in the future!
google avatar

Sara S.

Yelp
Tried out the new taproom location on a date last night. Great big space with a ton of seating options, and a huge outdoor area. It was too cold to sit outside, so I hope they put some fire pits in soon to be able to enjoy it there. We opted for beer flights to try their seasonal selections-I love all the porters and stouts. He's a fan of their sours. We grabbed some playing cards and spent a couple hours hanging out. The atmosphere there is very chill-like a local watering hole but with excellent beer and plenty of seating. Limited food options there though, but a food truck was outside as an option as well. We didn't opt for either but went up the road to Rivergate for dinner. Being a brewery it's not centrally located in Nashville but up a ways in Madison off the beaten path. It was nice that it wasn't overcrowded on a Friday night and me and my date could hang out and have flight and get to chat. We saw several groups of friends and families there, so it's kid-friendly and big enough for groups.

Yelp
Stopped in to keep the post happy hour buzz rolling. Yazoo has a good size indoor space with many community tables and games, but the outdoor space is quite small. Some may like the quaintness but I was picturing a larger relaxing area with yard games or activities like some other local breweries offered. The bartender was friendly and helped us pick beers for a custom flight. They have a great flight display and review cards. Unfortunately we weren't too fond of the beers. They tasted weak and watered down. Definitely worth a stop if you're in town, but only once.
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
Yazoo was the most popular brewery we went to in Nashville. Private parking lot. Inside was big, lots of table and bar seating. Lots of sports fans drinking before the game. I love their flight tray. The elevated bowling pin set up is so cool. All the beer I tasted was good. Great way to end my trip. DIY Flight - $15 - They have a preset flight for 11 or you can pick any beer for $15. Pint - $5 Good prices, good beer!

Yelp
This beer ROCKS. Get the Hefeweizen! Took some friends on a tour of the brewery and it did not disappoint. Our guide really broke down the beer-making process in a way that made sense to us who had no idea how any of it was made. We got some helpful tips on how to tell the differences between Ales, Lagers, etc. We got plenty of fun facts, and even learned that all of the artwork on the bottles/cans is done by the founder's wife (and even his kids did the artwork for one of the beers!) Very cool little detail that made us fall in love with the place even more. Thank you Yazoo!

Yelp
I stopped by here a couple of Saturdays ago with my wife for some afternoon drinks. Whenever we told some friends that we were going to be in Nashville for the weekend they recommended Yazoo Brewing to us. Whenever we arrived the place was absolutely mobbed. I honestly had never seen a brewery that busy before and so my wife and I immediately waited in line. It would take us about 15 minutes to get served and during that time we had a good chance to look around. Yazoo Brewing consists of a large room with a bar in the bar corner and then seating throughout the rest. The walls are painted red and the rafters are exposed and there are some string lights hanging over the entrance. There is also an outdoor seating area here but the sub zero temperatures kept us inside and so I didn't get to see it. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I went with a sampler here. At Yazoo that consists of 6 beers (I did see a bigger one of like 21 beers) and you can choose from their classic 6 or for a few more dollars, your own 6. Since I didn't see their full menu, I went the classic 6 route. As soon as we got our beers another couple left from the bar and we were able to get seated. The place was a madhouse the whole time we were there and they were frequently running out of sampler trays. In any case the 6 beers that I received were the dos perros (Amber ale), pale ale, Hefeweizen, sly fox porter, hop perfect IPA and the gerst. Out of the bunch I would have to say that the hop perfect IPA was my favorite and I would drink a few more of them throughout my trip. A surprise close second was the gerst which the menu aptly described as a clean beer. All of the rest of the beers were good representations of their styles but none of them really excited me. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. All of the beers that I tried here were good representations of their style but the next time I would probably try to pick out my own.

Yelp
Had a really great laid back time here! Right smack in the area where there is something to do all over, we came here to enjoy the warmth and grab a drink. Loved the customer service here, everyone was very nice and allowed me to sample like 4 drinks, I couldn't choose! They offer tours and are energetic through the day. The place we parked was across the street that first hour is free then it's charged every hour after. Loved that they had small games to the side offered to engage with your friends during social time, and loved how spacious the room was utilized. I went with a blonde ale , as I sipped and caught up with a college friend of mine who now reside in Nashville. We both enjoyed the vibe, the drinks , and the fun!

Yelp
Awesome brewery in downtown Nashville! They have a variety of beers on tap to satisfy every type of beer drinker from sours, to ales, to porters, to hefs, you name it. We sampled quite a few of beers & everything was tasty. Friendly brewtenders, delicious beers. Dog friendly. They have merchandise available. & during our stay there, we noticed quite a few groups coming & going indicating it was a hot spot for brewery tours.

Yelp
While in Nashville, I decided to take the Yazoo Brewery tour. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Our tour guide was the bomb (I wish I remembered his name but he was extremely tall) and gave us the ultimate Yazoo Brew experience. The tour is only $8, lasts about an hour, you try three different beers, and you also receive a souvenir glass. Dos Perros was delicious! After the tour my friends and I did the triangle flight they offered and it was a reasonable deal. I believe it was roughly $15. So sad they only distribute their beer in Tennessee and Mississippi. Guess I'll just have to make my way back!

Yelp
Busy little brewery. They offer tours. Nothin fancy inside. Crowded and loud. If you get a table, expect people to hover until you get up and then look out! I heard they are moving locations. They are currently in the gulch. Hopefully they're set up for larger crowds in their new location. The beers are all unique and flavorful. Everyone should be able to find something they like. We really enjoyed the Gerst. It was on several taps around town as well.
