On the Grid : The Bunker

"A small cafe just off the busy 7th street, The Bunker is our go to cafe for a little peace and quiet. They serve Teas and locally roasted Buddy Brew Coffee (french press FTW) and have a light menu for breakfast and lunch. They also have small events like Singer Songwriter night every Thursday with live performances or Open Mic Nights. Overall a cool place to hangout. Board Games included." - Harbr Co.

Highly recommend the breakfast Cuban. Bread had to be baked last night or this morning — so fresh. What the sandwich lacks in spice it makes up for in subtlety and creaminess. The breakfast croissant is goat cheese forward, but you still get the butteriness of the croissant and the sharpness of the spinach. Any goat cheese lover should try it. The caramel latte isn’t too sweet. The music is unique and enjoyable.

Quaint stand alone coffee and tea shop just off of a cute park. Here on a Sunday morning, fueling up for a drive home. Nice options for hot and cold beverages, tasty breakfast sandwiches and pastries (we enjoyed the Breakfast Cuban). It’s nice and quiet. Inside and outside seating. Enjoy the wild chickens and roosters that are wandering by.

Amazing coffee. I’ve been to many cafes and this one stood out. Their loose leaf tea was also quality. Their baristas could be a bit friendlier and chatty, but overall great!

We stopped by Ybor City Coffee and Tea on a Saturday morning before heading to the airport and had a great experience. It was relatively quiet, with plenty of seating both inside and outside, which made for a relaxed vibe. The Colombian drip coffee, roasted in-house, was outstanding — definitely the highlight of the visit. I had the breakfast Cuban sandwich, which was decent but not particularly memorable (though the bread was excellent). My wife enjoyed her breakfast croissant more than I did my sandwich. We also split a guava and cream cheese pastry, and it was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was super chill. Plus, there was a small farmers market happening right across the street, which added to the charm. A great spot for a quiet breakfast and truly great coffee!

Sooo Ybor City Coffee & Tea was a random stop after my yoga session to grab some coffee and walk around Ybor. The café had a nice variety of breakfast options, so I grabbed something to eat. There’s plenty of seating both inside and out back. I didn’t ask, but I’m assuming they have WiFi if you want to hang out and work for a bit. The staff was friendly and helpful, and my coffee and breakfast sandwich were both really good. I’d definitely go back.

EXCELLENT cold brew coffee here! There is NO bitter after taste that exists in so much of the competition. Friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere in the heart of Ybor are a wonderful added bonus.

They make a proper Latte. Their breakfast croissant have a great alioa on them. If I lived close to them they would be my regular coffee spot.

Google
Such a charming coffee & tea cafe! Incredibly friendly staff and spot on drinks. My husband got Blueberry Bliss Tea and he said it was the best tea he’s ever had, full of flavor. Fun sitting outside, relaxing with a good drink and seeing Roosters walk by!

Yelp
Fun experience. . . Nice servers . . . Mellow environment. . . Local favorite . . . They have answered the age-old question - why did the ubiquitous Ybor rooster cross the road?

Yelp
I'm really happy I gave this place another shot. I wasn't too fond of foundation coffee that used to be in this space but I thoroughly enjoyed my iced latte this time. The service is nothing to rave about, but it wasn't bad. Just people doing their job :) Sandwiches are a bit pricey compared to the surrounding cafes near ybor but other than that, it's a great spot to have a cup of coffee or work remote on your laptop/study.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop with friendly service. Ordered cappuccinos and a plain croissant. The coffee was rich and hot, served in ceramic mugs. The croissant served warm and flaky. Shop was spacious and pleasantly cool in the warm Tampa humidity.

Yelp
Stopped in Sunday just before closing and ordered my go to: cafe con leche breve! Chose iced this time as it was a warm afternoon. We also love ordering the breakfast Cuban sandwich. Never ever disappoints! Love the vibe and the friendly staff.

Yelp
This place is so cute! It's a cozy little coffee shop near the heart of ybor. I tried the iced cafe con leche and it was delicious, not too sweet either. The service was quick and friendly. I only stopped by to pick up some coffee but I will definitely be going back for one of their scones. They had decent seating available but you probably couldn't fit a larger party (6+). They also have cozy couch seating available where you could definitely get in some reading.

Yelp
Great local coffee shop complete with crowing rooster across the street. They even had gluten free blueberry muffin.

Yelp
Now.. I will be thinking about the coffee I got here for awhile. I got their Cafe Ybor iced with orange syrup and it was amazing. Whoever is a hater of citrus and coffee, needs to reevaluate their life. Now the coffee is obviously amazing, and the customer service wasn't bad by any means. I do wish though that the barista told us they were out of orange syrup when we grabbed out drink, as we were going through a placebo effect trying to convince ourselves that we could taste the orange syrup LOL. Thank you to the lady at the register that found some in the back when we came back for more!

Yelp
Ybor City Coffee and Tea is basically the same coffee shop that used to be Foundation Coffee with some changes here and there at The Bunker in Ybor City next to Centennial Park. The coffee is good. They have pour overs and food. Barista is usually chill. It's a great place to study or get some work done with plenty of plugs and Wi-Fi inside. It's a nice place to hangout at Ybor City during the day. Recommend if you're in town.

Yelp
I didn't get the sandwich I ordered. The person behind the counter seemed unfocused on service but was quick to get back on her phone. zero guest service recovery. Disappointing.

Yelp
I have gone into this place at least 4 times already. Every single time I have gotten some type of rudeness or attitude. The girl especially is VERY rude and snappy for absolutely no reason. She got my order wrong (wasn't even nice about it) and then proceeded to give me an even bigger attitude when I asked for it to be corrected. No customer service skills whatsoever. Also out of the 4 times I've come, 3 times they've gotten my order wrong and I've had to be here waiting over 30 min

Yelp
The place is very nice, but one of the barista's has been rude twice. Thought maybe he was having a bad day the first time, but has treated us poorly and should not be a barista if he cannot interact with customer's politely.
