I love Yellow Birch Farm! Missy’s ceramics include gorgeous vessels, mugs, plates, etc and Eric’s metal sculptures have a lot of character! The goat milk yogurt and goat cheese are sooo yummy! I am inspired by what Missy and Eric have created; farm and artists. One of my favorite places during my 2-3 week stay on DI, every summer.

Original and delicious farm/family style dinner. Out of this world, local fresh food! Plus, Eric and Missy are so kind and their world class art is worth the time to visit in and of itself

I was excited to visit this farm stand with my kids. I am always happy to visit a farm and buy fresh from the grower/producer. However, this place disappointed me. The tomatoes were hard and flavorless- we ended up composting them. The snap peas also lacked flavor but we were able to eat them. We also tried their goat milk caramel and I couldn't get my kids to eat it! This product is not a caramel. It was a weird consistency that more resembled a syrup. Saving grace- the basil pesto was tasty. Bit everything was way overpriced. I have a farm stand back home that sells goat ice cream for half the price...

Lovely organic farm and art gallery. They are expensive however, especially the art with nearly every piece over $1,000 and many over $10,000. The art isn't limited to the gallery. There is a good deal of inspired metal work around the driveway and barns. Even if you don't get anything, those are worth looking at

Google
Organic farm, They offer fantastic meals periodically cratered by chef La Maison and featuring produce fresh from the farm. An extensive tour of the farm proceeds the meal and gets you in the mood. Nice friendly hosts and a communal table encourages conversation . Always an outstanding evening. Bring your own bottle of wine,

Unusual but cute, eclectic place. Vegetables looked great but we stopped for goat cheese. Can't wait to try it! Nice art work around the property.

Here's the deal: Their produce is gorgeous and delicious, and it's pricey. That's just the truth, and every summer we spend a fortune with them -- but it's worth it. BTW, the artwork for sale there, done by the 2 owners, is beautiful to look at, and mostly way out of my price range. I lust after it, but I just don't have that kinda dough.

Fresh local produce, their own goat cheese, frozen meats, eggs, and bread. They grow heritage vegetable varietals than can't be found at the supermarket. The selection varies depending on what is in season and the quality of everything is top notch.

Yelp
Yellow Birch Farm is a required stop when I'm on Deer Isle. They're worth a visit. They've got home grown produce, fresh made goat cheese, delicious cajeta (goats milk caramel), great soap. They've got some high quality creams that rival most of the really expensive ones. You can buy at the store or you can order through their online shop.

Yelp
You can't get any fresher than this - the produce at the farm stand is twenty yards from where it was grown and picked. You can meet the goats whose milk made the beautiful chevre's, yogurt, and cheeses. And it's all organic, even the face cream everyone swears by (Missy's Miracle Cream they call it). What a find!
