"Perfect if you like:Redland Market VillageRedland Market Village and Yellow Green have their differences. Redland Market mostly revolves around Mexican and Central American food. Yellow Green is more diverse. The Hollywood behemoth has food vendors that range from Ethiopian, Bahamian, Italian, and too many more to name (see theirfull directory here). But both are going to bring you joy if your ideal weekend involves aimlessly grazing through rows and rows of food stalls." - Ryan Pfeffer, Mariana Trabanino
"Yellow Green is an outdoor market the size of an airplane hangar that's only open on Saturday and Sunday. The Hollywood destination has too many food options to name here, but our favorite—and one of the market’s longest-running food stands—is Teff Fields. This stand serves excellent Ethiopian food, and all vegetarian options too. They have huge silver platters of shiro wot, gomen wot, and more Ethiopian dishes piled on injera. It’s all good enough to justify fighting through the crowds (and slightly chaotic parking situation) at the weekends-only market." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo
"This is perhaps Hollywood’s greatest food destination. Located in an old lumber yard, this weekend farmers market has grown exponentially since it first opened. Now, it's an incubator for all sorts of small businesses—from coffee shops and taquerias to wellness products and jewelry. Not all of them are good, and crowds gathering in front of a stall aren’t always an indication of quality. The vendors change almost constantly, but there are some great standards, like Teff Fields, which sells vegetarian Ethiopian food, or Exotic Juices, where you can get layered tropical fruit slushies. The parking situation here can be a hellacious traffic jam, so try to carpool or find alternative transportation." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, carlos c olaechea
"If you and your friends are the kinds of people who love big marketplaces—especially ones filled with delicious things—then arrange a mini day trip to Yellow Green. The nearly 200,000 square-foot space in Hollywood is like a farmers market that ate some magical beans. The covered outdoor space is mostly comprised of food vendors who range from arepas to Ethiopian and tons more. There are also a few bars located throughout, and usually a dude or two strumming an acoustic guitar and singing. It’s a great place to kill an afternoon and eat something good. Just be aware that it’s only open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6:30pm, and there is a $10 parking fee." - ryan pfeffer
"While not a restaurant in the classic sense, this massive weekend-only farmer’s market lets guests shop and dine from more than 600 vendors, including close to 200 food and beverage stalls, so there’s certainly something to appease every picky eater. For the adults, there are two cocktail bars, live bands, and plenty of TVs to catch a sporting event." - Olee Fowler
