"This Inner Sunset sandwich shop has been around since the ’70s, and is where we go to get giant Boston-style hoagies. Specifically, a steak and cheese sub. Less of a submarine and more of a full-blown tank, this gigantic sandwich comes with shredded beef, grilled onions, bell peppers, and melted cheese on a freshly-baked sourdough roll. I LOVE everything at yellow sub. Food is always fresh and soups are amazing. I just wish they would put GREEK OLIVES (kalamata) in their Greek salads instead of chopped up BLACK olives from a can. Other than that, this place is THE BEST.

This place is just not well thought out, very unorganized. The subs weren’t good really. I noticed a couple of the workers were mean and they were all a bit inexperienced. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I don’t like saying all this bad stuff about a small business but this place just needs to get organized and better subs and they’ll be a 5 star,

The yellow sub is an absolute abomination against god and Gordon Ramsay. It has no place in existence. And yet, I order one every time. The only thing they could possibly do to make it better is add onion rings.

Very pricey starts at $5.50 I think for a small. Ice cream Cookie $6.50. Not sure if pay that again for the size. Limited menu the dirty banana ice cream was good according to company. Small is very small for a teen. Medium size is like a small. Ice cream was ok. Nothing special. Good on a hot day. Outside seating only. Very fast, polite, friendly service. Located next to a ball field and park for kids.

We take for granted how great it is to have a consistent, delicious sub spot in Gloucester! We often are ordering for a large group and orders are always accurate and done on time. It’s our favorite tuna and the chicken finger sub is also delish! Very few places last as long as the Yellow Sub and it’s stuck around for a reason. Great stop before the beach, after a game or when you need a quick dinner!
