An absolutely delightful experience for our family of four! The flavors and execution of each item we ordered was on point. Please give them a try - you will be pleased with the food. The service professionals are super helpful and helped explain the dishes to us and also gave us recommendations (as it was our first time experiencing Yemeni food). The atmosphere is friendly and bright. Don’t be deterred by the shopping complex they are located in. We will definitely return and have this added to our favorites.

First time visit and I'm sure I'll be back. The whole fish was delicious! Literally sucking the meat off the bones! I liked the lamb, didn't love it... Was hoping it would be more tender and just fall off the bone but it was a bit tough.

I want to like this place but this is not the first time we brought home a whole charcoal chicken that was more char than chicken. I could not eat it. My husband ate it with a lot of sauce and the rest went in the trash (which is where it should have gone when the cook realized they burned this chicken). It was barely edible and very dry from being severely overcooked. If you burn your food, please stop giving it to paying customers. If this restaurant was not so close to home, I would never frequent here. This is at least the third time we have had burned chicken. No more for me. I’m thoroughly disappointed. Thanks.

My first experience with Yemeni food and boy it was unbelievable. I got the Lamb Haneed. Rice and 3 pieces of lamb. Cooked to perfection, it was prolly one of the best lamb dishes I ever had. The bread, lamb and rice was a great combo. The saffron rice was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The only issue would be that For $30, They could have provided lil more meat. Will be def back here for another meal. The 2 sisters at the counter were very friendly and welcoming. Edit: I went here again after I landed in Raleigh. Disappointed that they had only 1 dish due to Ramadan. Lamb Bormah. Stew tasted good but again 3 small pieces. Very flavorful.

Meat Agda & Salta were very yummy! The Meat Agda was my favorite. The food was very flavorful. I wasn’t a big fan of their hummus, just out of personal preference but it was still good. The salad was very fresh.

It was our first time at Yemeni cuisine restaurant, Got there late 15 minutes before closing but they took our order happily. Wish we were there early so we could enjoyed the home like atmosphere it was very pleasant but since we got there late we took the food home. We ordered 2 Mandi chicken, 1 charcoal grilled chicken & 1 Mandi Lamb, all were delicious especially Lamb was very tender and tasty, both charcoal grilled and Mandi chicken were seasoned very well and tasted good, portions were decent. 4 stars because the prices online and inside the restaurant doesn’t match in fact the prices in restaurant was slightly higher, there was no plastic ware or napkins packed with food and no salad comes with the food either other then that it’s was a fine experience.

Inviting and appetizing! We learned of this restaurant just earlier today and planned dinner this evening. The staff were kind and inviting, the food was delicious to smell and taste and the portion size was plentiful. We all truly loved everything we ordered! We are excited to come back and try more entrees.

Always on the lookout for new ethnic food, I was eager to try out this restaurant. The good: The food tasted delicious, and the presentation was nice. The bad: Pretty much non-existent service. After the food was delivered, nobody checked in and inquired whether there was anything else needed. The prices are very misleading. Whatever it says on the menu, I was charged another 3% on top of that. Considering the prices are not budget friendly, this doesn't seem a very good business practice. After being told that a soup or salad came with the meal, I was utterly surprised to see an additional charge of $5.25 for a small salad on the final bill. They don't even offer tab water as refreshments, so you have to purchase it in a bottle. Nobody came to present a check, so I had to check out at the register. Needless to say, they asked for an additional tip, which based on the services, wasn't worth it at all. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience. From the service to the pricing structure, it seems this restaurant needs to get many things in order to be successful. Unfortunately, based on this, I won't be a returning customer.

5 stars because for the RTP area, this is a good quality place amongst a city with a food scene that may feel lacking at times. The fahsa, haneeth, fish, and the soup are all delicious and the staff is amazing. Always friendly and never get our orders wrong. High quality Yemeni food and have always enjoyed my stops here. Love everything here. Chicken Compressed is my go to food - super yummy! The soup that comes as an appetizer is also great. From fresh juices to a quick service, and to overall ambience, everything is awesome.

I love good food. Sushi in San Francisco, soup dumplings in Las Vegas China Town, street tacos in Texas. So I do not say this lightly, Yemeni Cuisine Restaurant's Lamb Mandi is genuinely the best food I have EVER eaten. It is unlike anything I've tasted before. When they say it "falls off the bone" it FALLS off the bone. Don't be intimidated by the prices either. My dinner fed me twice and I never have leftovers. Everyone there was so pleasant, and you can tell it's really authentic. They also have a cardamom tea urn that is just phenomenal. If you go, get the Greek salad as your side. Their feta is silky smooth and absolutely delicious. Six stars if I could!

We came during a prime hour but the food was served relatively quickly. The presentation was good and the meat cooked well, still remaining juicy.

I was honestly blown away by this restaurant and experience! The ambiance is super cute and very authentic. We were greeted by people at the front desk and they made us feel very comfortable! We had never been there, and was new to the area, and specifically this type of food! She talked us through what our options were and helped ed us understand what we were looking for. They started us off with a lamb broth, which tasted incredible. Almost medicinal! The flavor was definitely there! We had a lamb dish, and then they gave us a side of their special hot sauce. The spices, herbs, and overall flavor was incredible! Incredible! I was really surprised by the portion size too, I really enjoyed my time there and look forward to going back again.

My son and I went for lunch and like it a lot: - He got cubed lamb sauteed with peppers, with Yemeni bread on the side. It was the better of the two dishes. - I got a chicken "sandwich" which was well-cooked chicken, wrapped in the Yemeni bread like a burrito. It was good, but it was missing something - well everything, since it was just chicken and bread, no sauce, no slaw/onions etc. Nice people running everything. I'd try it again if I were in the area.

After reading some of the reviews we were hesitant to eat here. We decided to go and see for ourselves. Had a late lunch here today. Asked the waitress to recommend a main course and desert for us. We had lamb, rice, soup, babaganoush, home made juice and the most delicious hot tea. This place was very clean, the service was great. All the staff was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We cannot wait to go back. If you're on the fence give this place a chance. The food will not disappoint.

Clean restaurant with calm ambiance. The food is unbeatable. Lamb or chicken you won't go wrong. Vegetable options also available and the apps are great. Service can improve but they get 5 stars as I can eat their mandi or haneeth any day!

Cute little place. We came here during lunch, but told we could only order breakfast. Service was slow as we were only 1 other group there, but the stewed lamb was to die for!! It was phenomenal!! I will come back just for this dish!! The hot tea was also really good.

Food was great. Didn't even take a Pic. We got the fish and some type of lamb soup. I forgot what it was called. And we got the dessert that was $15. Loved everything and was worth it. The lady's were very welcoming. I live in Fayetteville but I would definitely drive an hour again to eat here.

Came today for their grand opening and first time trying Yemeni Food! Let me just say, delicious!!!! Everything we ordered was so flavorful and well seasoned. They serve complimentary soup and salad with every order. Mint lemonade is also a must try!

We had a great experience. The food was amazing, flavorful and large portions. The service was AKa so great. The lady was very nice and helpful. The restaurant is very clean.
