I love thin and crispy pizza! So this place is perfect for that. And that hunk of bread was so moist and yummy! I have yet to try the potatoes. We like to sit at the bar so this place is a little annoying for that since you have to line up to order and people stand right behind you. But we also went over the lunch hour. They have a ton of local brewery canned beers to pick from. A few on tap. I’ve been to both locations and the pizza has always been great.

It was a beautiful day to eat our yummy pizza outside! I loved that I could get whatever toppings I wanted on a single slice to try a couple of different pizzas! It was my friend's favorite pizza place, so I got one similar to hers, with red pesto sauce, artichokes, potatoes, mushrooms, hamburger, & slice almonds with mozzarella. The 2nd slice was "The Local" menu option minus onions. Hamburger, sausage, pepperoni, green pepper, olives, mushrooms with marinara, and mozzarella.

Easy ordering, service with a smile, amazing pizza, and an awesome experience. Pizza is thin crust style, sauce is great, and the review to me is better than Dave's. A must stop in down town lincoln! GBR!

Google
This location is located downtown Lincoln, however they also have a location off 70th and Van Dorn which is also amazing! Food: 5* From pizza, bread, salads, and loaded potatoes you really cannot go wrong. I love the Atlantic pizza (chicken, bacon, broccoli, potato) and I personalize by adding onion. Their bread is fresh baked, try with some butter and red pesto….so good! They have a huge selection of domestic and international beer. Service: 5* I have never had a bad experience here. Each time I call in a pickup order or visit in person the bar and kitchen staff always have a friendly smile. Atmosphere: 5* Fun, laid back bar feel. Pool table is in the back. Bar at the front and plenty of tables for larger parties to cozy next to each other. The decor keeps your eyes wandering, much to look at! One of my favorite pizza spots in Lincoln! You can purchase by the slice or as a whole pizza. Makes it a nice lunch option working downtown Lincoln.

Google
I had a great experience here! Cool vibe, great service, and the food was great! The dessert pizza was amazing and I loved my pizza (ended up going with a single slice of "make my own" of pesto base with mozzarella, spinach, bacon, and grilled chicken) - delicious!

Found this place after a long day in the sun and was pleasantly surprised. Not much to show on the outside and while I was expecting it to be cooler inside it was not so we opted for outside. We ordered the kids meals, single topping pizza and the international baked potato which I got to pick 6 toppings. It was not clear of the toppings to choose. The lady said the rest of the table would be jealous of the potato and she was right. Overall the food was really good and well priced. It didn’t take long for the food to come out either. Great place for families and kids. The kids meal is a pretty good size for most kids to eat. Probabaly a good place to come after work for drinks ( they had a huge selection of international beers) and just hang out with friends.

Google
Awesome local pizza place downtown. Great vibe, friendly staff and great pizza. Make your own or choose from a variety of house specialties - all available by the slice or as full pizzas. Large patio, bar seating, and tables to accommodate groups of different sizes or solo adventurers alike. Always a must stop at when in town for Gravel Worlds!

Stopped in before a show next door to have some pizza for dinner. They were sooooo busy! My husband started with a Spicy Chocolate Stout and loved it. He ordered 2 slices. The American with chicken, corn, jalapeño, Monterey jack, & bbq sauce. The Polynesian with bacon, pepperoni, jalapeño, olives, cranberry, pineapple, cream cheese, provolone, bbq sauce, & marinara. He really enjoyed the bbq sauce on both. Of the 2 he preferred the Polynesian. The combination of ingredients sound strange but he said it totally worked! I got the slice, salad, drink combo for $10 and some change. Milano cuz I'm a sucker for capers and lack of sauciness. Spinach, onions, capers, black pepper, mozzarella, parmesan, lemon juice, oil & herbs. I sub black olives for the chicken. It was good, kinda skimpy on toppings this time 🫤. Also love the giant hunks of bread with every order. Butter or honey to slather across. With how slammed they were we were surprised that the food still came out relatively quick!

Yelp
Was visiting some people in the area, and stopped by this place for some lunch. Upon entering, based on the look of the restaurant, I knew either the pizza was good or the pizza was good. I did not expect both to be fantastic! I had a slice of the Local, and a glass of the Church Street. The crust was nice and crispy on the pizza, and the ratios (meat, sauce, & cheese) were some of the best I've had in quite some time. (They also give bread with their slices. It was tasty. Idk what kind of bread it was, but it was tasty) The beer was probably one of tastiest I've had (usually only drink whiskey/whiskey based things). It wasn't over bearing, and it complimented the pizza well. The service was excellent, too! If you're in the Lincoln area, give Yia Yia's a try!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I get a large pizza with sausage on it. The thin crust is perfect. I love a nice crispy crust. I wish Dave Portnoy would have given them a higher rating. I dont think the bread is very good tho. Good thing I am not coming for the slice of bread.

Kristina A.

Yelp
"Well, that was a disappointing..." I love a thin crust pizza! A doughy, underbaked thin crust pizza, though? How?! Why?! I ordered the Slice and Salad. The toppings on the pizza were delicious - the Polynesian is FIRE. The crust though was doughy and underbaked from about midway through the slice. The side salad was disappointing as well - just a blend of greens with a sprinkle of cranberries. Then came the disgusting revelation that the glass I'd been served my Pepsi in was coated in little green chunks... I just didn't notice until I drank enough to see it stuck to the inside of the glass. Service at the counter was friendly and the prices were very reasonable.

Yelp
Seriously the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. I ordered via door dash and contacted the 70th location to make sure the order was right. I was hung up on. The order wasn't right and I called and was hung up on again. I called a third time & they wouldn't pick up (I assume they gave caller id) so I called from a different phone & was told I'd get a credit (which didn't happen). I asked for the name of the staff & manager & was told they wouldn't give it to me then was hung up again. This all happened on 1/26. I'm a frequent patron but likely won't be back after this. Not a good look Yia YIA'S.

Nathan P.

Yelp
We had the Polynesian pizza, and one of the veggie. The veggie was just okay, but the Polynesian was incredible! Spicy but not excessively so. Not cheap, but fairly priced. We got takeout but it's a cool vibe inside the place, wouldn't mind dining it sometime. One tip - absolutely get the thick crust. We got one of each and the thin crust left a lot to be desired. The thick was tremendous.

Yelp
Dined-In for lunch between 12:30 pm - 1:15 pm on Friday 12/20. Greeted by a friendly employee (Good Customer Service). We received our two slices of pizza 22 minutes after our order was completed and paid for. Pizza was undercooked. I would not recommend this location of Yia Yia's Pizza & Beer, if you are on a lunch break, the kitchen is too slow..., in my 30+ years of experience in restaurant management and food service, there should be no ticket times this long at this level of preparation/non-complexity of ingredients, etc., when there are no other "dine-in restaurant orders" ahead of you, especially at lunchtime. Furthermore, it was freezing in the restaurant, a cold breeze crossing my feet... with three layers of clothing on and a coat, I was extremely uncomfortably cold. Will not return to this location

Yelp
Fun food concept - make your own pizza slices and smashed potato. Good fresh toppings and customized to your taste.

Foreign P.

Yelp
This place is average at best mainly due to its inconsistency. I have come here many times. I like the thin crust, and the option to make your own pizza. However, what you get is always hit or miss. The crust more often than not is overcooked to the point of being like a cracker, and toppings are scant (see attached picture). I can't have cheese so there is no extra layer to hide it...My family and I have tried many times, and the disappointments are more common than not. They just stay open as there are not too many options in the area. Will be going to Vic's from now on...

Rob M.

Yelp
Good selection of Craft beer. Cool place. Good pizza. Try the Polynesian. The line can be long around dinner. There is no wait staff

Sondra Z.

Yelp
Yia Yia's has been a favorite of mine since attending UNL over 20 years ago. Had the chance to visit it again recently and I was please to see the old favorite still going strong!

John H.

Yelp
Wasn't expecting such good food. And such a nice owner. The ambiance was good as well as the service. Now to the star of the show the food. My wife loves bruschetta and I can take it or leave it but this was awesome the tomatoes were juicy and fresh and the balsamic was perfect. The Caesar although used spring mix was delicious with homemade croutons. I really don't much care for pizza but when I do I like thin crust. This pizza was perfect thin crust and good tomato sauce. Would definitely eat here again.

Jon S.

Yelp
The pizza, beer and atmosphere was enjoyable. I would recommend this place. The service was good and the cashier was very friendly.

Ashley T.

Yelp
Yia Yias pizza is one of my favorite pizza places in Lincoln. They have such good preset pizzas. You can order by the slice or get a whole pizza. The crust is also pretty thin! The staff is super friendly and Yia yias is in a great location downtown! There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors!

Autumn K.

Yelp
The pizza was good but not great. The buffalo chicken pizza we could barely tell had buffalo sauce and didn't really taste like it at all. Our other pizzas were better (supreme, cheese, and Polynesian). I wish we were told about the option for a thick crust because I ate pretty much a whole pizza myself. It had a fun vibe but but beware it's a self serve environment. The servers work the bar and make drinks they don't get you any napkins/silverware.

Laura F.

Yelp
First time visiting and when we entered it smelled old and musty but when we moved to back of restaurant towards where they cook the pizza it smelled fine. We had a group of five and out of the five orders, two of the orders didn't arrive until an hour after we ordered but the other three received their orders and were already finished eating by the time we got our food. We had to go up to the cooks twice to see where our order was. Part of the pizza crust on the bottom was burned and clearly overcooked and the croutons on the salad were also burned. The staff was friendly but seemed out of sync. Will try again sometime and see if better. .

Ory W.

Yelp
My favorite pizza in town. The vibe is cool and weird. Introduced me to bbq and corn on pizza.

Buru J.

Yelp
Was transporting an LA Roomie and his Audi Q3 from Chicago to LA. Lincoln was our first Night of the journey. I was famished and craving . Went on Yelp and found Yia Yia's. Called in the order then took a quick drive to Downtown. Food was HOT out of the oven and I made sure to get the dipping sauce, fresh Parm and Red Chili Flakes. Mouthgasm to the Max! Even ole Howie who wasn't hungry commented how good his pasta and pizza were. Having lived with him, I rarely if ever heard him give a verbal thumz up to any Food except Ice Cream, Kroger Chicken Nuggets and fresh other than my Gourmet Dishes he would try periodically.

Dave D.

Yelp
Enjoyed both the Food and the People whom worked there. Felt very comfortable eating at this establishment.

Lyubov L.

Yelp
The best pizza place ever!!! Such a great pizza place. Not a regular standard kind of pizza, but any kind of amazing pizza. We ordered the pizza without traditional cheese and it was amazing! If you are in town, you should try it for sure!

Alex J.

Yelp
The service was good but the pizza was terrible . it is a thin cracker type crust something that resembles a frozen thin crust that you could make at home. The toppings were ok but the pizza didn't really have any density. I had two pizza one was burned . burned very badly so badly that we couldn't even eat it. With so many pizza places in town i never see the need to ever have this overpriced pizza again.

Bob W.

Yelp
Great service and delicious thin crust pizza. Hefeweizen beer tasted so good on a warm afternoon.

Trent E.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! Old school college atmosphere meets pizza parlor with an outstanding beer and cider selection. I had two slices (Francais and the Local). Great thin crust pizza. Additionally, my lemon grass cider was refreshing, I highly recommend this place it you are in Lincoln.

Bill K.

Yelp
Recommend to us by another place for their pizza -disappointed. Beer selection was big so hard time choosing. Had a hazy recommended by cashier was ok but oddly very juicy. Bruschetta was excellent. Pizza looked and smelled great but ... we had half Greek and half buffalo chicken and the chicken had an odd taste. Found out later that I should have followed instinct there. Had a rough night after for sure.

Amie M.

Yelp
Fantastic beer selection, great atmosphere, and some of the best pizza in Lincoln in my opinion. Always great service, including a water bowl for the doggos on the patio. My favorite pizza is Le Français (it has blue cheese and walnuts which sounds crazy but I promise it works). Everything I've had is good though. They have a large variety of toppings/sauces/cheese to choose from and it's easy to build your own or modify one of the specials if you like. Highly recommend.

Marvin C.

Yelp
Solid beer selection, both corked and from the tap. This place has been a locals favorite since it opened up delivering fantastic pizza with a great variety of options. From the Polynesian (a must try) to the Old Eastern, there is something here for everyone! Salads are an added bonus (huge portions)!

Chad W.

Yelp
We t to Yia Yia's for the first time. I found it absolutely delicious! Very unique crust. Almost as thin as a tortilla. Great chew to it. I had the Eastern vegan pizza with banana peppers, mushrooms and jalapeños. It was so good! They gave us a side of their red pesto and a bread roll. Look forward to having it again next time I'm in Lincoln. If you drink beer they have a massive beer selection. Go check it out

Nikki J.

Yelp
Whenever I am in downtown Lincoln, and need a quick bite, Yia Yia's is my go to place! They have an extensive craft beer list, so I can always try something new. My favorite slice is the Pacific, which has pineapple, ham, bell pepper, and cream cheese. Also, dont skip the loaded breads!! Highly recommend one of the pestos for a dipping sauce. Service is always friendly and pizza comes out quick! Plenty of parking to be found downtown if you dont mind a short walk.

Robert R.

Yelp
The food (specifically the bread) was awesome!! Wonderful, fast and friendly service!

Kent M.

Yelp
This is only 2 blocks from our parked car, so was my first choice as convenient. Doing the gluten-free pizza and a salad. The salad is...pretty pathetic. Small and wilted. Pizza was real good.

Francessa M.

Yelp
ambiance is sublime the food is divine I stop there all the time I wrote that for fun but they really have amazing staff and such great food - fresh!

Angie A.

Yelp
I've been coming here for decades. I love this spot and visit every time I am in town. The casual vibe. The consistently yummy pizza. The interesting and diverse beer list. It's great for lunch or when you're out late. Love it!

Cristina I.

Yelp
Just ordered thru DoorDash!! I am in town for 3 days for work didn't know what to pick for dinner! Omg!!i am vegetarian literally the best pizza so far!! Cauliflower pizza the amazing pizza ever!!! Really really recommend for vegetarians!!

Gretchen C.

Yelp
Some of the most unique pizza you will ever have, hands-down the best in Lincoln, I love the atmosphere and high ceilings it's definitely a place I bring my out-of-town friends to

Kim R.

Yelp
Came here with some colleagues during a visit to UNL. They mentioned this was a local favorite spot which is exactly what I wanted. We were here for lunch and all ordered the slice, salad, and soda combo. Great price for the deal ($10ish ) and lots of interesting flavor options. At least a half dozen vegetarian slice options beyond a simple slice of cheese pizza. I ordered one with blue cheese and walnuts - who knew walnuts on pizza would be so good?! Great fast casual spot, no frills, lots of drink options if you're looking for a beer with your pizza. I'd definitely try again if in Lincoln for lunch.

Chris W.

Yelp
Classic spot for unique high quality pizza and a great drink selection. Great place for meetups with old friends.

Dennis G.

Yelp
Awesome service and pizza. Really cool atmosphere. Thin crust but fantastic. Sauce and toppings.

Kelsie M.

Yelp
Amazing pizza. So many topping options, and you can order by the slice to please everyone. Large beer selection. Long time favorite and will always return!

Brenton M.

Yelp
First time back in 20 years (since I graduated college here in Lincoln) and I'm happy to say it's as great as I remember! Delicious, interesting pizzas, great beer, good service. Atmosphere is fun and relaxed. If you're visiting Lincoln and want pizza it's a must! Try the Milano pizza.

Billy C.

Yelp
Great pizza. Great beer selection. Ample seating. I definitely recommend for a night out or a quick bite.

Jeff K.

Yelp
We've heard of this place, but have never stopped by until now. We were the oldest couple in the place. Pretty trendy, but that's fine. We just went to try the pizza. Ordering is at the bar. They have a full menu of pizza and beer. Wine is available, but your options depend on what bottle is open already. We stuck with beer this time as that menu is extreme. There is outside seating available, but it has plenty of seating inside. We had the meat pizza. Thin crust, good sauce, plus plenty of toppings. If you're downtown and hungry for pizza, stop by. It's worth it.

Dan T.

Yelp
Good pizza, service and food. Lots of beers on tap. My only complaint was there was too much blue cheese on the buffalo chicken pizza. Like all 3 of us couldn't taste anything but blue cheese. The other pizzas were amazing. The bruschetta was good as well. 4/5 only because 5 star pizza is rare in Nebraska.

Niki-Scott D.

Yelp
Great pizza. I like that I can order by the slice and get whatever type of pizza I want. Friendly staff. I eat here about once a week.

Nick B.

Yelp
Yia Yia's pizza is a staple of downtown Lincoln. They sell you pizza by the slice or by entire pizza. They have a variety of signature pizzas as well as build your own. The pizza comes out quick and the crust is oh so delicious. The combo of flavor and crunch is just about perfect on their pizzas. If somehow you are in Lincoln and haven't had Yia Yia's pizza...get down here and try it!

Seth B.

Yelp
Despite the unconventional ordering YiaYias delivers great food. A little on the pricy side but its well worth it. Everything seemed fresh and homemade. We got the ceasar salad and buffalo chicken pizza. Needless to say best buffalo chicken pizza Ive ever had, very light and extremely flavorful. You get what you pay for. Must try.

Imgur M.

Yelp
I went to Yia Yia's Pizza & Beer and had very hot and fresh pizza. However, the pizza did not taste very amazing.

Greg S.

Yelp
Jessie Petersen hangs out here. Enough said! Perhaps the coolest person in Lincoln ever. And a pizza expert.

Dany C.

Yelp
My coworkers were raving about this place and I finally got to go. First slice was amazing and bigger than my head. Very excited to go back and try more combinations.

Jonathan S.

Yelp
The service is what brings this place down. Most of the time, you just can't tell if they're juts apathetic, or completely high out of their mind. But, the food is great, and the beer is quite good, so I can tolerate the service.

Austin's Y.

Yelp
Hello fellow yelpers! First off I've been going to this place for years and the western was love at first taste! Such an amazing mix of veggies that hits the palate like a bomb of flavor. The way they fire grill this stuff is the way every pizza should be cooked. The bruschetta normally is great, but today it was sadly a tad sour. I hope they get that mix fixed quick because I always get the bruschetta to start off my pizza cravings. The workers here are beyond nice and are more thank happy to answer any questions you have. Can't wait to come again :) Yours truly, Austin's Yelps
