Great food and friendly staff! Everything we ordered was delicious and freshly made. The service was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely come back again!

Stopped by for a quick dinner when arriving in town late on a weekday. It was late, but many people were still stopping in for pickup and delivery orders. I ate in and there were plenty of tables. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. Although it was counter ordering, they still delivered my order, stopped by during the meal, and came to cleanup during my meal. Ordered a Traditional Gyro with Greek Fries and Baklava Cheesecake for dessert. Gyro was generously filled lamb and beef as well as veggies. Greek Fries were a very large order that I couldn't finish. Food was great, but the Cheesecake Baklava was amazing. I would come back just for the dessert. Good food and service.

The food was awesome! Super chill vibe, and the gyros? Huge and delicious. Seriously, you gotta try it. The friendly atmosphere and attentive service made for a pleasant experience. We recently visited a charming Greek restaurant and were thoroughly impressed! I opted for the lamb and beef gyro, while my wife chose the chicken souvlaki. Both dishes were excellent. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I usually get a gyro and greek fry combo and it’s PHENOMENAL! Portions are HUGE and everyone is friendly and food comes fast! I’ve eaten in person and often order to go on an app. Always quick always correct!

The food here is always fantastic, I recommend it often. I love that you can actually view the rotating spit from which they carve the lamb. Greek fries always made with fresh feta. Desserts are delicious and portions are large. I tell my friends, if you can hear people speaking emphatically in Greek from the back, then the food is gonna be legit 👌

The food was great, portions ample. It's basically a small place in a strip mall. Plastic cutlery isn't very substantial unless you are in kindergarten. The cashier had the demeanor of week old baklava which didn't enhance the experience. Gyro meat and Souvlaki is carved from spit to order.

We discovered Yanni's on Uber Eats one evening when we were looking for something different. We then ate there four days in a row. The food is amazing! Very authentic with huge portions. I highly recommend the humus and pita and the stuffed grape leaves appetizers and the chicken gyro, but the Greek salad is one of the best salads I have ever had in the area. The service is friendly, accurate, and professional. I've only stopped in to pick up food, but the restaurant on Union Deposit Rd is quaint and trendy. Buy several items and share with others in your dining party.

Service was good, friendly cashier. We got two of the bowls. They were large portion, but the amount of chicken was very little. The chicken was super dry. The fries are good. There was a hair in our food, specifically a short dark hair in the rice. The baklava cheesecake one piece was $7.27 which is a lot. It was a regular size slice and wasn't anything amazing. The soda machine soda was kind of flat. The tables and chairs were greasy.

Gyro was delicious. Fries were undercooked. Doordash price of $8 for the pita and tzatziki is absurd to receive two little sauce containers. Extremely disappointing. There are other places who have delicious gyros AND sides.

We loved this place! Meat is fresh on the spit and cut as needed Gyro platter is enough for two people. Fries are five guys style and have an awesome seasoning. Burger was done on the grille and seasoned perfectly. We had the baklava dessert and cheesecake. Both were delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

The food is amazing and the owner (Mandy) was so helpful and friendly. I got the Athenaian Gyro platter, and it honestly is at least two meals worth of deliciousness. Enormous Greek salad, fries and gyro meat piled high, accompanied by pita points and tzatsiki. Hubby got the gyro with fries, and he loved it. We'll definitely be back!

Traveling to Harrisburg and needed a quick lunch. This was right next to our hotel and had good Yelp ratings. What a great place. Not fancy. Seemed to be family owned. We got the greek salad. They were huge. I never not finish my meal but I had to take half of this home. The rest of the food for other customers looked great. The counter server was super helpful. The place was clean.

Pleasant eatery with polite, friendly staff. We had their Souvlaki Dinner with chicken and lamb skewers which were both flavorful. The side of lemon potatoes was also quite good! Nothing fancy but a good meal!

This was an amazing place to eat. The young lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and was particularly patient with my order. So many choices so little time. I had the Athenian Gyro platter and it was a good bit of food. It was the combination of meats and they were cooked very well. The salad was not as good but the dressing was just the right touch of acid and oil. I would recommend to have them hold on the onion and green peppers. I did not try any of the desserts since I'm not a fan of baclava or anything with nuts but it looked delicious. They did offer a military discount which was also a great recognition to the service members. The restaurant was not too small or too big and it had plenty of seating. It had a modest touch with many photos of Greece on the walls. It was hard to find since it was almost on the end of the strip mall but I WILL BE BACK.

The food was delicious-- I had the hummus with pita bread. a small greek salad that was really good and then the feta cheese sticks. The feta cheese sticks were a complete surprise-- i've never had them before.. took me two pieces to get used ti eat and eat it up. The hummus was one plentiful. Next time i'll try the falafel gyro

Went to Yianni's for a work lunch with my team. We were a group of 5. The place was empty when we arrived at noon. I had the Athenian Gyro platter salad with gyro chicken. It came on a small baking sheet and it was overflowing with food. I was excited for the chicken, but it was a little dry. The fries were really good. The salad was huge but the dressing was a little bland. And I would have liked more of it. It's a nice space and the portions are enormous.

Yianni's Gyro's is a great place to get Greek food. There's a decent amount of food options including dessert. The chicken gyro was good, the flavors were delicious however the chicken had a more dry layer. The dessert was great, my favorite was the baklava cheesecake. The service was exceptional. I overall rate this restaurant a 9/10. Will be back soon !

I ordered the traditional gyro and man was is fresh and delicious, employees did a wonderful job they prepared the meal fast and friendly.

I just went to Yiannis Gyros on Union Deposit Rd. No one else was in the restaurant so it wasn't busy at all. I paid for my food and I said thank you to the woman (Erin) at the counter and she didn't say anything. I said, don't you thank your customers and she just looked at me and shrugged and I said it's common courtesy... She just stared at me. I had just talked to her on the phone ad she spoke perfect English. Maybe she was mad at me because I didn't leave a tip for simply doing her job. I've never been to that restaurant before, and I don't know what the food was going to be like, which was mediocre at best. I always leave a tip at the counter for places I frequent because they are so nice. There was no Customer Service involved. And I mean none. I will Never go back again. There are way too many other restaurants in this area to put up with rudeness like that.

It is nice to have a Greek place close in HBG (Union Deposit) when a quick fix is needed, instead of having to drive to Hershey. We did delivery this past weekend and Yianni's was ok overall and will do in a pinch. The gyros were packed full of meat and toppings. The one sticking point for me was what we received when ordering the Tzatziki dip and pita appetizer for $6.23. This $6 dip turned out to be one pita cut up and a 2oz. container of Tzatziki dip. I double checked my order to make sure it wasn't just the extra "sides", and it was to be a full order.

Had the trad gyro with fries. Delicious! The fries are -anazing- Heinz vinegar & Cholula on table. Friendly service and I will definitely be back. 5 Stars.

First visit was a success! I selected a traditional gyro, while my partner got a Hercules gyro and a bowl of avgolemono (lemon chicken orzo soup). Everything was yummy! The portion sizes were generous--I was really surprised how much meat was in my gyro! The service was very quick, and the wait staff were friendly. The shop is small (there aren't a ton of seats--maybe 16-20?) but it was clean and decorated nicely. We would definitely go again to try a bowl, platter, or salad!

What a treat in authentic Greek cuisine! They also have kourambiethes which was what another favorite Greek restaurant made special for my spouse and I during our engagement weekend back in Jersey! Reasonably priced, fast, friendly and so very nourishing!

Service was great, place was clean, including the bathroom. I got the original Gyro and fries with feta cheese and both were delicious! I definitely recommend this place!!!

Ordered the Hercules gyro. It is quite large in portion. I don't think I enjoyed the fries, but the gyro was very good. I did not appreciate the wrapper as it left my hand covered in blue ink. It easily washed off though. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my lunch thoroughly. Will come back for more!!!

We love Greek food, and were curious after seeing them nominated in a local magazine. We were disappointed. First, the prices shown on the takeout & hung menu were not correct ("cash" prices the woman advised). Secondly, the quality of food was disappointing. My husband got the traditional gyro and I got a Greek salad. Both left a funky aftertaste we haven't experienced at other Greek establishments we love. Service was so so. The only highlight was the powdered almond cookies at the end. Interior seating is limited. We won't be back; we'll stick with our favorite Greek restaurant in Mechanicsburg.

The only reason for the one star deduction is the lack of description on the online menus. I had no idea what was in a Hercules Gyro, I had to look up the desserts online, as other than Baklava, I had no idea what any of them were. The Hercules Gyro was good but I would have ditched the fries or got them on the side. I'm not a fan of fries in my sandwich, Primanti Bros included! I would definitely order extra tomato for the gyros next time, as they were very small and sparse. The dessert I got, forgot the name but it was custard wrapped in phyllo, was my kind of dessert. Not overly sweet, and a nice portion. The dolmas were delicious! I'm glad I finally got to try this place. Good stuff.

Late night Harrisburg snack, loaded beef and lamb gyro. Solid price point at just over $10 for the original, and plenty of food for 1 grab and go (ala carte no sides). No adult beverages and not much space inside to sit and eat.

You can always count on a Greek kitchen to feed you. Quick service but quality output. Worth bookmarking. Desserts looked amazing but your correspondent did not indulge.

I got the Athenian Gyro platter. The salad was very fresh. There was a ton on the plate. The fries were nice and crispy. The Taziki sauce was delicious. The staff was very friendly and fast. The inside of the restaurant was very clean. I will definitely return and try more food. Very pleased that this place is so close to where I work.

Went for the first time today. The Greek Cheese balls are delicious, Such a creamy texture and so much better than mozzarella sticks.. Chicken Gyro was packed very full and was super tasty. The fresh cut Fries were seasoned perfectly, nice and hot and scrumptious. I'll be going back again.

I was not able to be there but I Postmated a Pastitsio (aka my favorite Greek dish) to eat at my work break, and let me tell you it is something that I have never tasted in my life. I usually had Pastitsio back when I was in college when they served it on Wednesdays and it was ab better version of lasagna. But this specific one tastes so authentic and balanced.

Unbelievable customer service I ordered delivery from Yianni's through DoorDash and noticed they forgot two of my chicken souvlakis (An honest mistake). Called the restaurant and spoke with Maria. She profusely apologized, offered me a refund AND was willing to personally deliver the missing items to my house within 15 minutes. That level of dedication to their customers is hard to come by these days. It was such a kind gesture from the restaurant to make things right and I will certainly be ordering from here again. Oh and the food is incredible too

Stoped in for lunch on a Sunday. Cute little place that seems to do a lot of takeout. Both of us had gyros, and I had the fries. Gyros were excellent and almost the size of my head. The protein was very generous as was the delicious tzatziki sauce. Two could probably share these. The fries were a bit of a letdown. I'm a sucker for hand cut fries, but unfortunately these were soggy and limp. But we'll definitely be back for more gyros!

Another fantastic meal here. I was surprised and delighted to see that they have a Greek burger and it did not disappoint. This was one of the best burgers I've had. The burger was moist and the fresh toppings excellent. I love that it comes with a grilled bun. The bun was perfect size for the burger. Other places have a thick bun and you lose the burger. Here all you taste is the fantastic beef and fresh vegetables with every delicious bite. The cheese on my burger was melted and slightly brown. So good. I got the Greek fries and they were perfect and their feta topping was ample and fresh tasting. I had the baklava for dessert. Love the cinnamon and nuts. It's amazing. Husband had the ek mek and I had some when he went up for refill. He's lucky I saved him some. Wow! Just wow! It's so good. It's fluffy and tasty. Love everything here. Highly recommend.

The chicken souvlaki was good, for my taste it definitely needed some hot sauce. Quite filling, great customer service as well.

The Greek salad was a good size with everything on it you could possibly want in a Greek salad. I agree with the other poster that the dressing was a bit lacking. I will deduct a star for that.

What a fantastic stop! Everything was fresh and delicious. They even make the pita bread. The hummus was excellent. Our only regret was that we all enjoyed our entrees so much we filled up and could not order desert.

Service was great. I ordered a Slouvaki chicken dinner for 2 with fries and an extra side of rice and a Chocolatina for dessert. The store was clean and had plenty of room for seating. The chicken was delicious, as was the dessert. The fries were soggy and the rice had no flavor. I would have given this place more stars but the price was too high for what I was given.

These people that own the truck are absolutely amazing, they saw me and my boyfriend struggling to pull up apple pay due to some connection issues, they gave us a free brisk iced tea. although i was more than willing to pay/even tip them. they made sure it was on the house. super sweet people and amazing energy and i thank them for what they did. small things go a long way and i very much appreciate them :)

Visited with my family. Food was outstanding. There was a time delay and a complimentary snack was added at no cost for the inconvenience. It's a small place, clean and squared away nicely.

the gyro was excellent. the fries not so much. very soggy and limp. the baklava was excellent. it must be inflation because everyplace seems expensive but $30 for a gyro fries and a piece of baklava seems pricey

This place is FANTASTIC!! 10 outta 10!! I didn't know they were here until last week while at that plaza and I was excited to try, which we did this evening. We ordered take out, a chicken and a regular gyro, fresh cut fries, hummus and pita, and ek mek. The man who took my order was super polite, I was also impressed at the cleanliness of the establishment that is very well lit and colorful. I enjoyed seeing the flames as they grilled and sautéed and prepared the food. The dessert case I had to peruse and decided to try ek mek which was heavenly...sweet soaked phyllo threads with a custard and whipped cream, sweet but not crazy sick sweet. The cinnamon and almond flavor made it feel like a fall dessert. The smell from the bags drove me nuts and as soon as we got home, I ripped the bags open in anticipation, knowing it was gonna be amazing. I was correct...the gyro was the best I ever tasted, the tzatziki sauce was full of umami flavor, and the soft fresh pita was a pillow of delight. The hummus was perfectly balanced and not too strong of tahini, perfect. The fries were tasty too, the fresh pepper a nice touch. I am thrilled to have found this place and truly hope that they are successful here! Do yourself a favor and try them out!
