The Best Boba Shops In LA & The SGV - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"I first tried Yi Fang Fruit Tea in London and ever since then, I haven’t been able to shake it from my head. I always opt for their Yi Fang Fruit Tea because I have a strong belief that if the store name is in the drink’s name, it must be special, and that theory has certainly held true here. This particular drink is a refreshing green tea with chunks of real apple, orange, lemon, and passionfruit floating in it, resulting in a delicious, tropical concoction. This is the only spot on the list where I recommend not getting boba in the drink, and that’s because here it’s flavored with brown sugar, which can overwhelm the lighter fruit flavors. And since this place has locations in Koreatown, Sawtelle, and San Gabriel, you can easily get their tea no matter where you live around LA." - Audrey Fong

Google
This bubble tea shop has 2 screens where you can order your tea. Otherwise you can scan a QR code on the outside window and order that way. The milk tea is amazing. You can customize the type of tea, ice and sugar levels, and add ins. They take a little time to make it, but the quality is insane. The boba is so soft and fresh, and they’re slightly smaller than ones you may get at other tea shops. Price is also reasonable compared to other places in LA ($6 for a tea with tapioca pearls).

Google
Yi Fang is one of the better tea places out there if you want authentic, customizable Taiwanese style drinks. My go to teas are often the milk tea and fruit teas with less sweetness and less ice. The drinks here taste fresh. If a tea shop can’t adjust the sweetness, you know the drinks are probably premade hours beforehand and just sitting in the fridge. Love this place and will come here whenever I am in the area, or their other shops spread throughout So Cal because in my opinion they are one of the best. Cheers.

Google
Stopped by Sawtelle for a quick drink and ordered the brown sugar matcha latte. It was rich in flavor and you could taste the quality. Boba was nice and soft but might have been a bit too soft for my liking. I also did not have to wait long for them to make the drink. Covid precautions: They have plexiglass separating customers from staff, hand sanitizer available and limit to a few people inside at a time. They have appropriately placed stickers on the floor for proper social distancing. Everyone must wear a mask. Can't wait to come back and try another drink!

Google
Trendy boba shop with peaceful atmosphere. Tea was great and boba balls are smaller so you get good flow through the straw. Lots of flavor options too.

Kylie Dan

Google
Love this chain! Their fruit teas are some of the best. My favorite is their peach tea, which has real peaches in it. It’s good enough to not have any additional toppings. Their peach soda is also good (keep in mind it’s actually just generic soda with peaches in it). This specific store has a self order screen, which streamlines the ordering process a lot. The store itself is small, though.

Google
Passion fruit and kumquat, 50% ice and 30% sugar is great. It was not as sour as I expected, especially the passion fruit seed they were pretty much tasteless but in the real fruit it is very sour. Overall the drink was more sweet than sour and the lime in the drink made the drink bitter the longer it’s in there.

Doris Huang

Google
I like the self ordering machine which is easy to use and to customize your drink. The classic fresh fruit is definitely recommended, and the brown sugar pearl latte is good too.

BAir117 Chiu

Google
Excellent variety of fruit teas, brewed teas and milk drinks. I got a passion fruit green tea with 100% sweetness and Aiyu jelly. Can taste the high quality passion fruit, not from artificial syrup. Aiyu jelly has a soft texture and a flavorful green tea taste. The signature fruit tea is good too, but the fruits take up a lot of the tea. A bit pricey, but definitely worth to check out! 10/10

Yelp
i like this place for its tea drinks. kind of upset they removed some things off the menu for newer items; however, the matcha is pretty good for a boba shop and the toasted brûlée is really good! review is only for the matcha.. bc i saw there wasn't really reviews about it

Yelp
I visited the Artesia location of 7 Miles Tea Lab last year, but ended up not getting anything since their menu felt like they focused more on creative and trendy drinks rather than the classic milk teas that I prefer. Due to convenience this time (since I ate lunch right next door), I decided I could risk giving them a try. This particular location has two kiosks for easy ordering. Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sugar, 50% Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - Wow, 7 Miles brews their tea hard. Really overbrewed, so much so that all the subtle tea notes are gone and instead the drink just becomes a full fledged bitter and astringent grassiness. It feels like the first time I brewed a gyokuro, with water way too hot, and for way too long. While the drink is creamy enough with their house milk, and the sweetness level is pleasing at half, neither addition are enough to help dampen the overbrewed tea elements. Don't get me wrong - I prefer this quality vs other places that serve drinks that are completely missing the flavor of the tea, but this place takes it to the opposite extreme a bit too much. Unfortunately the boba is also less than perfect. The sphere are small and smooth and somewhat too firm. The pleasant chew is reduced due to this firmness. I feel like they need just a little more boil/steam time. The pearls would still be considered good in most US metros, but I'm not sure it's entirely competitive in LA. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 My initial impressions from the prior year seem to be true. While I can't vouch for them, I'm guessing the more modern and trendy drinks are better at 7 Miles. Not that my drink was bad by any means! Bathrooms - Single unisex

Yelp
Almost every drink we've had from 7 Miles so far has been delicious and something I would get again. Not quite sure what to make of their new menu, though - they took away a lot of our favorites and the new additions are not necessarily something we would order. One of the things I love most about this boba shop is that they offer sago as a topping, which is hard to find, and the quality of their sago is always on point. If you're not familiar with sago, it's basically the clear little bubbles that you would find in a tapioca pudding. I love them more than boba. My favorite drink to order if it's early in the afternoon is one of their tea lab originals - lately it's been the jasmine with sago and cloud top. I get it with no sugar because the sago and cloud top provide enough sweetness for me, though my daughter always complains that it's bitter. I just tried the osmanthus oolong the other day, and that is a great addition to the menu with nice floral overtones, though it did taste a little bitter. That is the one criticism I have of 7 Miles - the quality of the tea brewing is inconsistent. Sometimes it's perfect, and sometimes it tastes like it has been steeping for too long. The rest of my family loves the fruit teas, and they are delicious. The mango passion fruit tea and the 7's mango pomelo are favorites. I also recommend the sour strawberry jasmine, the watermelon jasmine, and sweet white peach jasmine. They've removed the only drink I didn't like from the new menu - it had lychee and coconut and was just overwhelmingly sweet. Sad that they also removed the watermelon coconut drink, which was very refreshing. The watermelon jasmine is not a good replacement for me because of the caffeine. Not sure if they will continue to do soft serve with the Indigo Cow that just opened down the street, but their soft serve was delicious and we loved the toppings. They can get quite busy at times, so I typically order in advance on Toast. Honestly, there are just two things that would improve the boba experience for me here: (1) improve the consistency of the tea brewing; and (2) offer more caffeine-free options that are not just fruit smoothies or filled with sugar. Would really love an herbal tea that tastes more like tea and not like rooibos or hibiscus. If they could do that, I would be here all the time.

Yelp
It has everything you need from a boba tea cafe for hanging out with friends. They have self-order kiosks and the register is also open for in-person ordering, either method is super fast. The menu is very wide. Inside there isn't seating but it's not important as the outdoor patio seating is very nice and perfect for enjoying the weather and people watching on Sawtelle blvd. Also, bonus points for having a bathroom! I wouldn't come here for studying but more for hanging out since the tables are more wide to accommodate friend groups sitting for long times. For a slow weekend afternoon, we didn't have to wait for a table. The drinks are so tasty! The flavors and sweetness are balanced and very refreshing. The boba toppings were perfectly chewy abd sweet and the sago was very good too. This place is accessible through street parking but it's close to some residential neighborhoods so it's easy. On a weekend, the business plaza next door isn't busy so it's easy to get street parking there too.

Yelp
Brought a book and tried their matcha brûlée - sweet and creamy! Parking can be tricky but there's a handful of parking spots behind the building! They had a nice shaded area outside to sit and read.

Yelp
Loved everything we tried! Favorites were the Mystic Ube Matcha (so creamy and pretty!), the Black Sesame Under the Clouds (nutty and not too sweet), and the Ube Coconut Milk with purple sticky rice was such a fun texture combo. Also tried the Pineapple Sunshine ( this was very sweet with 0% extra sugar) , and Matcha Earl Grey Oat Latte and they were both delicious The staff was super friendly and the drinks came out fast. Will definitely be back

Yelp
Ube Matcha (3/10): There was no real ube flavor in the drink; it just tasted like ube extract. The matcha flavor was very very subtle and was overpowered by the use extract flavoring. I would not get this drink again if I were to come here again. Black Sesame (7.5/10): This drink was supposed to be a blended drink, but the consistency was not thick enough. The black sesame flavor was super strong, which I liked. There was supposed to be some kind of foam/cream/cloud top, which could not be tasted throughout the drink. Overall Thoughts: There were very few customers, so the service was decently fast. There are lots of cute tables to sit at if you're looking for a nice and quiet study spot. The internal decor is super nice and modern; I was definitely in awe when I walked in. I initially wanted to try their brown sugar tea drink, but they did not have any brown sugar, which was a little saddening. The drink (ube matcha) that I got instead was pretty disappointing, so I would not order this drink again. I wish I tried their boba to see if it could save the drink. Besides the pretty interior, this boba shop has pretty basic Asian-flavored drinks. There are a lot of other amazing boba shops in the area, so I'm not sure if I would come back here again.

Yelp
Ordering is easy and with convenient kiosks as well as a worker to answer any questions. The menu offers a good variety of fruity, tea, and sweet drinks. There are really unique flavors as well as the basics so that there is something for everyone. Despite there being a lot of people inside, the boba came out quickly (around 5 minutes). The drinks themselves were great full of flavor and not too sweet and the boba was well made. And there is plenty of outdoor patio sitting to enjoy the boba. Really great option for boba!
google avatar

Noah M.

Yelp
The Baseline: For bubble tea cafes the drinks must have the proper temperature for the drink, suitably firm tapioca pearls, and the drink must be quality. Food: The boba Thai iced tea Tornado drink was pretty good and enjoyable. The presentation of the drink was great and the Thai iced tea tasted as expected. The tapioca boba pearls had a good texture and chew to them. It is a solid boba drink. Service: Order from a kiosk then pick up your drink. Little human interaction involved. The kiosk allowed for customizations so it did the job. Ambiance: Inside the cafe was an order area with a sit and wait for your order bench. The outside patio had good seating and is nice for Sawtelle type of fast order cafe offerings.

Yelp
Really good! I ordered the Marble Matcha brûlée ($6.50) and their soft serve with strawberry and oreo crumbs. I enjoyed the soft serve more, it was sweet, really good texture, and the strawberry was super fresh and flavorful. They use some good quality strawberries. The matcha brûlée was good too but I got full from the soft serve. There is no cashier but there's two touch screen displays where you order your drinks. It's weird that it asks for tips even though the customers didn't get exceptional service but rather we did the service ourselves.
google avatar

Marc N.

Yelp
A very average boba place. I would call it subpar, but it's honestly your preference. I found it to be too sweet and no real depth in flavor. I think it can pass as a boba spot though. I saw a lot of different things so I think the variety is good.
google avatar

Christopher T.

Yelp
Great store with great, friendly staff. The drinks are great but they ran out of ice cream (from the poster they have) and it's only 1pm. The place cute, bright and inviting with youth vibe. They do have patio seating area.
google avatar

Hannah L.

Yelp
I love this place. This and sunright. I think this place is most comparable to omomo with their creamy/smoothie options. My go to drink is the blended avocado w mango bits $7.25 and I love that it includes my fave topping - crystal boba lol. Also like how they do a flavor of the day that we can sample in a smaller cup for $3. This time, on a Saturday, they had passion fruit kumquat and it was sooooo flavorful. Would also get that again. They have self service touch screens as well as a person working the register occasionally. Service is pretty fast!

Yelp
Yum! Got boba here with a friend after dinner. Inside were self service kiosks and the counter, but not much else. Staff seemed busy so we used the self service kiosks. It was a decent price for the boba and staff got it out to us pretty quickly. We sat on the patio and yapped for a couple hours. Very relaxing spot to catch up at!
google avatar

Joellen C.

Yelp
Delicioso I got the Earl gray milk tea sigh jasmine jelly end it was surprisingly really good and still tasted like Asian milk tea instead of the English earl gray milk tea. Would get again. Door dash delivery was ~$10

Yelp
My new fav boba gem in West LA! I love the variety of options here, and they use fresh fruits here. My personal favorite is the Belgium Cookie Milk Tea w/ jasmine tea jelly. I love how floral the Phoenix tea is, and it pairs really nicely with the biscoff clouds. The jasmine tea jelly reminds me of smooth grass jelly with a floral kick. 50% sweet is perfect for me, as I like my drinks medium sweet. A few other great combos I've had here were the Ube Coconut Milk, Watermelon Jasmine, and the Avocado Mango Smoothie. Highly recommend this creative boba spot! 10/10
google avatar

Arev L.

Yelp
This is my second time visiting this location. Only two people ahead of me and bunch of togo orders. Staff were definitely overwhelmed. My drink came out decent but could have been better.
google avatar

Shanelle S.

Yelp
Boba shop with range of fruity and heavier drink options. You can order via the kiosk and receive a text when your order is ready. We ordered an Oreo matcha brûlée customized to 50% sugar and less ice as well as a hot jasmine tea with boba. Both drinks were good quality though I would've preferred the matcha to be a bit thicker. There is some benches inside to sit but most people seemed to opt for to-go. They do have a loyalty program.

Yelp
Love at first sip. After this in a Japanese restaurant we're craving for a dessert/tea place so we decide to try this tea shop. Service/ordering is a breeze through their tablet kiosk. You can customize both sugar level & toppings. We ordered Hokkaido ice cream with lychee coconut and red bean toppings next level yummy creamy makes my taste buds burst with joy. The other one is the Ube coconut milk non caffeinated nice combo. They offer a few seating area in front of store for customers to enjoy their treats. Next time I will try other fruity flavors and blended drinks. Don't miss this place when you're in this area.

Yelp
IG/TT@eatwkris @7milestealab went to try out this new boba store in sawtelle and I was impressed! I really liked their original milk tea and they also had this avocado mango smoothie drink that was really good. Their boba is very Q Q and I would come again! They also told me their goal is have a location every 7 miles!
google avatar

Crystal K.

Yelp
Refreshing and fun flavors. There's two self order kiosks where you can customize the drinks sweetness & ice levels. There's limited seating inside and tables and seating outside the shop. Overall has a modern and clean interior and the staff is friendly and quick! As for parking you can park in the neighborhood or there's street meter parking.
google avatar

Bryan I.

Yelp
This spot serves up delicious soft-serve ice cream (currently featuring Hokkaido milk and ube) alongside refreshing bubble teas. If you're a fruit lover, the mango passion fruit bubble tea is a must-try, while their crème brûlée creations are perfect for something indulgent. The variety of add-ons--lychee, passion fruit, strawberry, mango sauce, pomelo, boba, lychee jelly, red beans, aloe vera, and purple rice--ensures there's something for everyone, making it a great choice for groups. The friendly staff enhances the experience, offering samples to help you find your perfect flavor. Conveniently located on the lively Sawtelle strip, it's an ideal quaint dessert stop after dinner at one of the nearby Japanese restaurants. Seating is limited, with about five tables outside and a few benches indoors, so be prepared to stand or take your treat to go during busy times.
google avatar

Katie L.

Yelp
I love the variety of the different drink options! It's also very clean and the drinks came out pretty fast. We got the oolong milk tea and smashed lime earl grey which were both delicious. I wish there was the option to get oat milk with London fog. I'll have to come back to try the other drinks.
google avatar

Moriah L.

Yelp
came here on a Saturday night! There was no line, you can order through tablets on the side or with a cashier. I ordered the dirty boba with 50% sweetness! It was the perfect sweetness for me as dirty boba tends to be on the sweeter side. Service was so fast, the boba was fresh and the tea had a good, strong flavor. There is limited indoor seating; however, a great location on sawtelle with a lot of other places to grab food too! (:
google avatar

Yooka E.

Yelp
After lunch in Sawtelle, I was craving boba and decided to give 7 Miles Tea Lab a try. The menu has a lot of great options, but I went with the Mango Passion Fruit Tea this time. I customized it to 30% sweetness, though it was a bit sweeter than I expected. That said, I could tell the sweetness came from real fruit, which I appreciate much more than artificial sweeteners. For $6.50 with boba, the quality and size were totally worth it. As a big boba fan who's tried spots all over LA, I can confidently say 7 Miles Tea Lab delivers. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
|[ w o u l d d r i v e 7 m i l e s f o r ]| 4.5 stars rounded down due to parking sitch, it's refreshing to have a boba shop w decent quality with fair prices esp on sawtelle and I'm loving it so far!! My go to is the phoenix oolong MT w boba no sugar and free oat milk upgrade (!!). Tea flavor is not bad and size is good, not a smaller cup that claims to be "regular" size iykwim. Also tried the avocado mango smoothie and this was heavenly-- reminds of happy lemon which I am ecstatic about since there isn't one nearby when I'm craving. Small interior w some seating outside, more grab and go style. |[ c u s o o n ]| So far this place fills my boba needs when I'm in west la and I hope they keep up with the quality and taste. My only critiques? Boba sometimes firmer than I'd expect (though they say this is normal for them and even tried remaking it). Parking is a pain, there WAS a free lot at back that now has valet people -_-. But still great. Don't forget to collect points. C:

Yelp
The quality of the drinks here is unmatched. This visit I tried the ube matcha latte and my boyfriend got the avocado on mango. Both drinks were soooo spectacular. I really appreciate that each unique drink is amazing, which is often hard to accomplish. 7 Miles is the sole reason I frequently visit Sawtelle.
google avatar

Mallory C.

Yelp
Really love the drinks here! They're super unique and I've tried to order a different one every time I visit. I've had the Mango Pomelo, the Oreo Cookie Milk Tea, the Classic Dirty Boba Milk Tea, and others. My absolute favorite is the Sour Strawberry and I've gotten it multiple times. It's really delicious and refreshing. There's usually a little bit of a wait for drinks, but it's not too long. Parking is on the street in the Sawtelle area.
google avatar

Carissa P.

Yelp
I went on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm and they were out of boba. I opted for their Ube matcha (which I think was new and/or seasonal) which was okay. Couldn't taste anything but milk about 1/3 in, which was disappointing. I'll still give them another chance if I'm in the area and try something else.
google avatar

Nathan Y.

Yelp
The interior is modern and clean, with self order kiosks. You can also order from the cashier, and they're quick and professional! I like that they have a lot of drinks that you wouldn't find at other boba spots. I ended up trying the guava grape one, and it was quite good!
google avatar

Kislev A.

Yelp
7 MILES TEA LAB is located on a busy section of Sawtelle. There was no line before we walked in but due to our trying to figure out how and what to order, two parties lined up behind us by the time we gave our order. The guy who took our order was super kind: he didn't rush us and helped the kids narrow their choices down. He also pointed out to the ones who walked in that they have the option to order from two different self-order kiosks against the wall. THAI TEA tasted great. Blended STRAWBERRY N' CREAM was even better. UBE COCONUT MILK was awesome!!!!! Boba is extra for some drinks. There are some seats if you want to enjoy your drinks sitting down if you like. But I highly suggest taking your drinks and walk up and down Sawtelle.
google avatar

Rachel T.

Yelp
THE BOBA. All I can say, any tea was a hit but that boba is always chewy and never fails. Also helpful that there are multiple order methods, online, on tablet and with a person. I love getting the ube boba but replace the sticky rice with full serving of boba instead because the boba is so fun and chewy. They have a bunch of other hot takes on flavors so you can't get bored as well as the classics. Best stop by after ramen in Sawtelle and walk around the live street on the weekend. Seating inside is limited to benches, so would only wait there for order. Outdoor seating has 4 or so tables, still kind of lit at night but outdoor is best around lunch.
google avatar

Ann Nicole A.

Yelp
I was so excited to try their Tropical Zen flight! It consists of their mystic ube matcha, coconut cloudburst, and zen coco matcha in their mini cups. I thought this was a great way to try these three flavors! You can also change the ice and sugar level. All three drinks were great. I liked the coco matcha the best! I came on a saturday night and it was busy. There was a little wait for my drinks. Other than that, staff was efficient! Cant wait to come back and try their other drinks. Parking could be difficult since it is near other restaurants on Sawtelle.
google avatar

Brandon S.

Yelp
Everytime I'm eating in sawtelle, I have been coming to this spot to get drinks afterwards. I always order the mango passionfruit tea. The order is usually ready between 10-20 minutes depending in how busy it is. The mango passionfruit tea has strong mango and passionfruit taste but not much of the tea taste. I could still taste the tea but I think it's overshadowed based on the sweetness level I order. I also like the little crunchy black seeds in the drink for some chew. Overall, decent drink spot that's a different from the rest of the boba spots in sawtelle. The one thing I do like is if the order isn't to your taste, you could get a new one made without charge. A little side bonus is its location on the heart of sawtelle, where I can enjoy my drink while people watching.
google avatar

Chanel K.

Yelp
Whenever my sister and I come to eat around here, we'll always stop by 7 miles tea! It's become our favorite boba spot. It's located in Sawtelle and so parking can be a bit tough to find but we never mind having to walk a bit further. They have two kiosks that you can order from or the register. The workers aren't the friendliest but service is fast. I've tried the Mango passionfruit, sour strawberry jasmine, and the new dragonfruit lychee. All three drinks are super refreshing with a hint of sour. They have an outdoor area where you can sit and chill.
google avatar

Nelson H.

Yelp
I walked along Sawtelle after dinner and wanted dessert. There were a lot of drink options to choose from but I saw that they have a Hokkaido milk soft serve. It's a yes for me. I ordered the most popular flavor - brown sugar and boba. It was delicious!
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
Occupying the ex-space of Yi-Fang, another boba place in Sawtelle! Yesss you heard me right, feeling like you won't have enough fingers anymore to count them especially if you include those now gone. Pretty nice to have more options amidst the already long list, so no complaint. There's little line when we arrived, but we got the orders swift enough. Super helpful as they had self-order counter along with the regular one. First drink for the day was Wintermelon Tea, which was always my to-go whenever available. It's nice that they could do sugar customization for this, as in most places I couldn't do it for tjis drink. I went for 70% and was impressed with its nice balance between the wintermelon flavor and the tea taste. Our second was from the milk-based one, their Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea, which was also pretty nice with bold tea, though bit too sweet for 50% sugar IMHO; even kinda odd as it's sweeter vs first one despite being at 50%. We added aloe vera topping, which tasted decent enough and was generously given. Fun fact, they provided option to go for mini cup with any regular one purchased, but only limited to flavor of the day. Pretty nice way to enable people trying new stuffs.
google avatar

Hailey B.

Yelp
I've gone here twice and I really like the flavors here. I've tried the ube boba and the taro boba and both are creamy and delicious. Service is quick and portions and large. It's your typical boba shop aesthetic.

Yelp
7 MILES TEA LAB UBE COCONUT MILK Ube cream, coconut milk, milk, purple sticky rice, boba SWEET WHITE PEACH JASMINE Jasmine green tea, white peach chunks, lime juice I really loved THIS TEA SHOP! 9/10 for me, I just wish I could sit down here indoors but there isn't places to chill for longer It's more of your grab and go style shop, with few seats Service you can just pick your own drink via machine. THE UBE COCONUT MILK is a must if you like ube, sweet drinks and purple sticky rice!! It's really filling though so don't get this drink if you are already kinda full :P It's creamy, full of ube taste and delicious boba and sticky rice texture goes so well together. Sweet Peach JASMINE TEA is nice too, but I'll always remember this spot for the ube drink' excited to try more :))) Follow me for more foodie adventures -LIVING WITH LUCI

Yelp
In my top 5 boba places. Drinks tasted really fresh and the flavors were well balanced. The mango pomelo had lots of sago and strawberry fluff was really refreshing. Didn't taste sour at all. Pretty quick and efficient experiment because of the self order kiosk but I think you can also order at the front. Drinks came fast and there's a nice seating area outside.

Yelp
Drinks: I got the Avocado on Mango, Ube Coconut Milk, and Sour Strawberry Jasmine Tea. They were all so delicious! They use real Avocados in their drinks, and it comes with fresh mango bits on the bottom. It's such a refreshing and satisfying combo! The Ube Coconut Milk was a stand out for me, and is a must try for those who love Ube. I liked the sour strawberry jasmine tea as they also used real strawberries that are smashed into drinkable bits. I saw a couple of people order the Mango Pomelo and it looks absolutely delicious as well! Will try it the next time I swing by. Service: There are self service kiosks that you can use to order, but the staff are really nice and won't hesitate to answer questions in detail! They also pack up drinks if needed. Ambiance: It's modern yet comfortable, making it a cozy spot to relax or hang out with friends. The outdoor seating area is really nice!

Yelp
Came here 9:45pm and ordered the Oolong Milk Tea. I ordered the same drink at another location, ordered 30% sweet normal milk, and found it a bit TOO sweet, but gave this shop another chance because it's nearby. After purchasing 0% sweet and easy milk. It was quite bitter so I asked and apologized if they can remake my drink. They did 30% sweet, easy milk and it was quite good. Thank you for the service. Will visit again.

Yelp
This is a cute new boba shop in Sawtelle. The atmosphere is sweet, shop is very clean, and the staff is super nice and helpful. Their drink menu is pretty extensive, you can definitely find something that you're craving on any given day... fruity, fruit tea, milk tea, coffee, so many! You can order on one of the two self-ordering kiosks and drinks will take about 5-10 minutes, depending on how crowded it is. I tried the dragonfruit lychee smash, 100% sugar and found it very refreshing. I was looking for something with oreo or chocolate for my daughters, but didn't want to order them a milk tea because of the caffeine, so I asked the associate if it would be possible to make like a oreo cookie milk with boba drink. He said it was just oreo cookie with a lot of sugar, so I appreciated his honesty. Their boba is great! I will definitely come by to try other drinks here.

Yelp
Tried this boba shop recently and liked it! They had a lot of options and cool creations - if I was looking for a sweeter boba option or boba as dessert- I'd definitely come here. You order via machine and the service is pretty quick. It's grab and go. You can customize the sugar but not the milk!

Yelp
I used to think of this place as just a place for the mango coconut slushy. I had no idea their milk tea is also very good. I especially like the oolong milk tea with agar boba. Strong tea flavor and creamy. To me the tea was already very good without much sugar, the way I like it. And don't miss out their drink of the day. Only $3 for a pretty solid drink. Great deal to me.

Yelp
I'm so happy to have found my new FAVORITE spot for boba! They have really perfected their flavors at this location. If you like your teas tasting a bit stronger with the perfect amount of sweetness... this place is for you. Their boba pearls, although smaller than usual, has great texture compared to the other spots I've tried. When I came it was quite busy at this location, but after placing your your order on their tablets, you receive a text once it is ready to be picked up. This is nice as you can hang around for your order to be ready or have the option to go for a short little walk around the street before it's ready. Parking wise, I would recommend turning into some of the nearby neighborhoods for street parking. It might be a short walk away, but have never had issues even on weekends.

Yelp
I'm probably going to update my review each visit that way I remember what I got that visit. 7s Mango on Avocado comes with blended avocado, mango bits and pomelo. All the things I enjoy in a drink. It's good when it's hot or really anytime of the year. Red & purple latte is okay. It's mostly red bean and not much sticky rice. Its base is coconut milk which may or may not be okay for some people, but you can sub the dairy.

Yelp
Drinks were decent, service was kind of odd? Not very crowded. People who ordered after us were getting their drinks called. The server kept looking at me and making eye contact, but never asked what I was waiting for until I approached and asked. Our drinks were sitting on the counter the entire time. Could definitely be a human mistake, but just thought it was odd. Got the biscoff cookie drink (not exactly the name but I forgot what it was called on their menu) and the Ube coconut milk with boba and sticky rice. Sticky rice was a bit tough to chew. Boba was fine. I really liked their special menu creations. Definitely interested in trying the strawberry cookie and ube matcha next time.

Yelp
Saw that a new boba shop opened up on Sawtelle, didn't realize it took over Yi Fang until I walked over! Although I really enjoyed Yi Fang, I'm really glad this spot opened up. Parking: it's Sawtelle... so either street parking or find parking in the Marshall's lot or pay for parking Ordering: There's a couple of kiosks you can order from but if you have any questions or modifications, there's a worker at the cashier as well Ambiance: Cute, very similar to Yi Fang but with the addition of outdoor seating I ordered the biscoff oolong milk tea, came out pretty quickly. It was DELICIOUS, make sure to mix the biscoff cream top and crumbles with the milk tea to really get the full experience! Super tasty and something I'd def order again because the tea flavor was nice and strong and the biscoff didn't take away from it, but enhanced it. I asked if there was any way the marble matcha brulee could be substituted with oat milk but unfortunately they said it couldn't be because it was already mixed in, so that was a bummer. But other than that, it's fine because I was able to try something else. Will definitely be returning to try other options!
