Thai and Lao Restaurants Open for Takeout and Delivery in the Bay Area | Eater SF

"The sister restaurant to Berkeley’s popular Imm Thai Street Food specializes in home-style cooking, going beyond the usual pick-your-protein curries (which they also have). This is the spot to seek out harder-to-find dishes like kua gai (fat, stir-fried rice noodles bound together by egg), tom yum omelette rice, and avocado green curry — all available on the to go menu. Cocktails are also on offer as a takeout item. Delivery is through Grubhub or DoorDash." - Luke Tsai

Horn BBQ Finds a Home at Off the Grid Fort Mason - Eater SF

"Over in Oakland, six-year-old Rockridge Asian fusion restaurant Osmanthus is closing after service today. The owners of Berkeley’s Imm Thai Street Food will take over the space and turn it into Yimm, a simple but contemporary Thai restaurant focused on homey, Bangkok-style food. It’s scheduled to open in mid-March." - Janelle Bitker

When Tuk Tuk in Berkley closed last year, I thought I had lost a favorite stop forever. Today is a day for celebration because not only did I find the same quality I was used to, but I also found some new entrées. The staff, atmosphere, food, and location are top tier. I will return for more of this incredible experience.

Google
Food is highly recommended, staff service are excellent, they're friendly and very attentive.....the only problem is the tables. ALL OF THE WOODEN TABLE inside and outside, they are all sticky. Feel it to experiences it to yourselft. Im not sure if its the wood varnish or just the way they cleaned it with certain. chemical.

Google
Absolutely delicious! Probably the best Thai food I've ever had. I went with a group and had the opportunity to try about six different items from the menu, all of which were absolute bangers! The fried pumpkin and papaya salad were really good, and the spice fried rice had just the perfect amount of spice. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Google
Not bad, really appreciated how it was not as oily like many other Thai restaurants. Would say the curries are spicier than the usual Thai places here, which I liked. However, the portions (especially the soups) are on the smaller side for the price. Also I saw people recommended Lord’s noodles but it was honestly kind of average, the pork belly was dry and flavorless. But the avocado green curry is really good, spicy and creamy.

Google
Cute, bright spot for a quick and flavorful dinner. This place came highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint. The food was great and came out quickly — it was perfect, as we were getting close to our showtime at the Berkeley Playhouse. I had the praram plate, a delicious peanut-curry-chicken dish (and the closest thing I’ve found to Massaman curry here in the Bay!). Would highly recommend. The cocktails were bright and fruity, really tasty!

Google
Above average Thai food. I did order the special avocado green curry. Unfortunately it's not as great. It's too salty. Green curry usually comes with Thai eggplant, but instead, they filled the curry with uncooked green beans which ruined the flavor.

Google
It's a newly added Thai restaurant to collection of college ave. Only indoor seating. Service and waiters are relatively responsive. There is full bar with kinda spicy drinks! I understand food flavor is tasty and subjective. Not so oily appreciated, however despite hot foods marked based on level of hotness, we group of four Thai-food lovers couldn't finish our meals due to very spicy 🌶️ hot taste. Sometimes so hot that no other taste could be felt! Not sure of the authenticity tbh to compare with other Thai foods or restaurants tried before. Anyways note that if you have some hesitancy on spicy foods. Try sticky rice and mango for sure to wash down all the spices 😉 Street Parking is doable.

Google
Tom Yum Omelette Rice is a must try, unique and well seasoned. Pork skewers are tiny though. Service is just so-so but ambience is nice.

Yelp
This place was so yummy....... or should I say YIMMY!!!!!!!! The ambience was great, super warm inside, great big windows and lots of people. Service was excellent, food was even better. Duck soup. Green curry. Pad Thai. Crispy rolls x2. Fried rice. Tom yum. Papaya salad. We are stuffed!

Yelp
Good Thai restaurant located in the rock ridge neighborhood of Oakland. A few friends had recommended this place to me, I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but overall I felt this was a decent thai place with decent food and great pricing. The ambiance was nice and the service friendly. In addition the the green papaya salad, we ordered a few items off the "home cooking" section; the avocado green curry and the pa-lo. I felt that all the dishes were standard; certainly nothing was bad but I wasn't overwhelmed by anything either. I think I left ultimately happy simply for the fact that all dishes were good and extremely reasonably priced -- having left this place and feeling like going out to dinner didn't break the bank (which is becoming a standard experience in the bay area). I would definitely recommend this place for some good thai food at reasonable prices.

Yelp
Came here with a friend for lunch on a Wednesday -- super spacious, and there were around 4 other parties. There were two single-stall bathrooms, and the one I used was clean. I ordered a Basil Rice Plate with Pork, which I thought was pretty good. However, it definitely was on the saltier side and not that spicy. My friend and I later ordered Thai Teas after seeing other customers order it -- it was super rich and creamy, though definitely quite sweet. The waiter was friendly and attentive, and split our check without us having to ask. The restaurant is located on a strip of College Ave with lots of cute stores to check out after or before your meal too. Would definitely return!

Yelp
My friends and I wanted to try out new Thai spots and Yimm impressed us! We picked menu items we wouldn't find in our usual Thai spots.. and the Tom Yum Omelet Rice was incredibleeee (shout out to our server for recommending!). The pandan custard bread wasn't too sweet which we loved. Those 2 dishes were the standouts of our meal for me. The atmosphere is very modern and the staff is really kind!

Yelp
Friend and I had dinner here on Monday 6/16/2025. I looked up a few Thai places on Yelp in the area and picked Yimm because it had some unique menu items. I had a Thai iced tea and pumpkin curry with tofu. Friend had the green avocado curry with chicken. Pumpkin curry was good but a bit more spicy than I'm used to. Portions were generous so both of us had leftovers. Service was friendly and efficient. However, the restaurant is very noisy. Wouldn't be opposed to coming back but if someone wanted to go but maybe would do takeout/delivery instead

Yelp
Really great service and 10/10 mango sticky rice. Would come back just for the dessert! The spring roll was vegetarian, but good and fresh. Looks like a small business with everything tasting great!

Yelp
Monday, December 2nd, 2024 19:00 Fried Pumpkin ($10.00): fried batter kabocha, sweet and sour sauce, peanuts - loved the thick chunks of pumpkin, which were super crispy outside and tender inside Tom Yum Omelet Rice ($19.00): rice, omelet, oyster mushrooms, shrimp, tom yum sauce - huge portion with lots of shrimps and rice - tom yum's bright flavors worked really well with omelet rice - rice did not have the best texture Pad Thai (Fried Tofu) ($16.00): rice noodles, veggies, peanuts, fried tofu - huge portion, very solid pad Thai Peanut Sauce ($4.00): - delicious to go with the pumpkin, pad Thai, or anything else Service: - staff was friendly Ambiance: - cozy and spacious interior with plenty of seating

Yelp
Green curry is lit. Thick, spicy and yumO!!! The sweet corn salad was very fresh, lettuce and veggies crisp. It was a bit bland, but I spiced it up with chilis. IMO the curry is a bit overpriced for the size of the dish. The rice was kind of mushy. Ample interior dining and a small amount of tables for outdoor dining. Note: Restrooms are up a few stairs, so not ADA accessible. In my first visit the staff was great, second visit I felt like I was ignored and unattended to. Overall quality of food is 5 but bc of prices and service I can only rate 4 stars.
google avatar

Yelp
A hidden gem for really good Thai food. We loved the pad kee mao, sweet corn salad, and fried pumpkin. The food comes out quick, and the staff are super friendly. We went around weekday lunch and it was quiet enough to have conversations with friends. Would recommend coming by if you're craving Thai!

Yelp
This is absolutely my favorite Thai place in Oakland. Everything I've tried has been delicious and I always get the chicken wings. There's really nothing I can say to describe the deliciousness of this fried crispy wings. Overall...Great food, great service and great happy hour drinks nothing else left to say but I guess give them a try.

Yelp
Great food and friendly service! I came here a few months ago and ordered the tempura pumpkin appetizer and the Tom Yum Noodle Soup. Both were great, but especially the soup! What a huge and satisfying dish with lots of flavor. Ambiance is nice and chill with low lighting and tables are far enough apart from others. Definitely will visit again soon and if anything changes, I'll update my review.

Yelp
Yimm has a very modern ambiance. We tried a variety of dishes: Tom Yum Omelet Rice: Shrimps where delicious as was the sauce, it was a lot of omelet but that is on us as that should have been evident from the name. Pad Kee Mao, was spot on, with a light kick, would definitely order again. Basil Rice Plate - Very fresh and also had a kick, could have used a bit more rice, but flavor was kicking. Mee Cook, had a nice flavor but nothing I would write home about. All solid dishes paired with a fun modern look makes this a great choice for a night out or date.

Yelp
The food is really good, service is good, and the place is really nice. I recommend the fried pumpkin appetizer and pork belly soup. I think it is called Pa Lo. Thai tea is good too. Also the fried egg topping is cooked perfectly in my opinion, runny like a benedict. I know some people like their eggs fully cooked or hard boiled but I prefer over easy, poached, soft boiled, or otherwise undercooked/runny

N. K.

Yelp
This is currently my favorite Thai spot. Never greasy and doesn't feel like you ate a lot of processed sauces or sugars. I am obsessed with their pork belly/Chinese broccoli dish and the pad see ew which is always perfectly cooked. They also adjust spice levels upon request - and pay attention to app notes about this. 10 stars
google avatar

Yelp
after all these yrs of the Berkeley Thai scene, I would ultimately choose yimm to take any new friend in town to. Food, vibes, service, and location are all solid. Highly recommend the fried pumpkin appetizer -- this thing is so freaking crispy and yummy with a one of a kind dipping sauce on the side. Pad se ew is the best one I've had ever, and the huge plate of fried rice does not compromise quality over quantity. The pork belly plate is good but kinda salty so be warned. They have a bunch of spices and sauces to pair with ur food, and the PLATES are so cute. This is a sister restaurant of imm in downtown Berkeley, but I'd recommend yimm over imm any day with how quaint and nice this restaurant is

Yelp
Yimm is my favorite Thai place in the Berkeley area! The ambiance inside the restaurant is beautiful, well decorated, and never too busy. I usually come for lunch or early dinner and I've never had to wait for a table. This time I came with a group of 6, the service was very accommodating and quick. I got the avocado green curry and it was delicious and the perfect amount of spice for me! All of my friends also enjoyed their food. Thank you Yimm for such a great experience as always!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant with great food! Yimm is the sister restaurant to popular restaurant Imm Thai in downtown Berkeley. Dare I say Yimm is better. The inside is a very home-y, large open space. They had a variety of dishes with a variety of spice levels as well. I got the Pad Kee Mao and it definitely had a kick to it, but the spice level was definitely tolerable. All their food was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning and spice. Yimm is the perfect place to go whether for a celebratory occasion or just for a fun dinner out with friends!

Yelp
Great little restaurant with friendly service. Fresh rolls - 5/5 Papaya salad - 2/5 (too sweet with a lot of large sugar crystals in it, would not order again) Green curry with chicken- 4/5 (a tad on the sweet side for me, but still very good) Pad See Eww with beef - 4/5 Mee Cook - 2/5 (not bad, but would not order again) Mango sticky rice - 5/5 (not to be missed)

Yelp
I came on Saturday for lunch and it was very easy to get a table for 3. We ordered the Kua gai, tom yum omelet rice and tom kha. This was the perfect amount of food for 3 girls. The Tom yum omelet rice was my favorite! I've never had anything like this. The sauce was surprisingly spicy and really tied the whole dish together. Kua gai was also good but I would try their other noodle dishes next time. The tom kha was good but the portion is really small.

Yelp
Came here with a group on Sunday for lunch. Very happy with the food and service! A nice menu with familiar options and some fun alternatives. We enjoyed the - Beef noodle soup (a little salty but super yummy) - praram with veggies (peanut sauce was light in a good way) - avocado green curry (my mom's favorite) - garlic pork stir fry (VERY garlicy, did not disappoint) I look forward to coming back!
google avatar

Kenneth T.

Yelp
Had take out this time and provided specific instructions on how to separate the sauce so that toddler can have the dishes without any spicy sauce (spicy tangy house sauce for fish, or the peanut sauce for praram). They followed it exactly as requested. Thank you! Everything was delicious. Since the fish didn't have sauce on it, it allowed us to also heat it up so it's crispy before we ate it with sauce and toddler can have it without sauce.

Yelp
Yimm was cute local Thai spot with fun menu choices. I always look for duck noodle soup when I go for Thai, and this is one of the few spots that offered it. I thought the pad see ew portion was small and the sauce was on the sweeter side. The duck tasted a bit dry, but still full of flavor in the broth as well. Overall, parking is pretty easy along the street and it is convenient and cute to dine here!

Yelp
Everything about the food and service is RIGHT! My sister and I were out for a late night dinner and thought we would order Tom Kha soup with chicken and extra mushrooms with a cup of white rice to go on our drive home. We arrived early enough that the staff was able to accommodate our seating for dinner. Eagerly, we added additional menu items including a pumpkin curry chicken--THE BEST with simple cooked white rice, mild taste at my request. We ordered hot chai--so very good on the night of our visit, Thursday after 8:30 pm. Sadly, I didn't snap too many pictures. The staff (3) were above and beyond--very customer friendly and professional. The restaurant has designed, comfortable seating without crowding. There were even seats available outside--it was too cold outside for this visit and we will return!
google avatar

Yelp
My We have been using them as our go to Thai take out since 2020 (early pandemic). The food is very good. The menu is limited and we have gotten tired of it. That said, it is excellent if limited. Have not dined in--gotta be better as food will be hot.
google avatar

Thiri T.

Yelp
Yimm is Imm Thai's sister restaurant, and is less crowded despite it having amazing dishes even on a Saturday night. We started with the grilled beef salad and the moo ping. We probably wouldn't get the moo ping again, but the grilled beef salad was actually spicy and super fragrant. The beef noodle soup was amazing (and I actually came back again to get it). It was perfectly satiating and meaty yet sweet. The hearty bowl warmed up my stomach on a cold day. I definitely recommend. I was also genuinely impressed by the tom yum omelette rice. I wasn't expecting the kick it delivered but it was so good. The tom yum was pungent and sour and the shrimps and mushrooms were very fresh. Must get item!! Also, make sure to ask for the spice rack for an extra kick

Yelp
I have been past this place a ton and have always meant to try it sometime. Finally made it in and had a really good lunch. The Tom yum noodle soup was very warming and delicious. I have been back so many times for this one dish from here. It even turned a non-Tom yum lover into one. Tons of noodles and veggies, everything was cooked well. I tried the pumpkin curry and it was too sweet for me/not quite right. I would stick with their soups or noodle dishes. It was a little cold in there, I think it could be made a bit more cozy in the day. At night it's heated and very cozy. I love that they aren't blasting music and you can actually have a mellow lunch or conversation. It wasn't too busy and one server was handling everything smoothly without issue. I'll definitely be back. You have an option for what kind of noodles. The only feedback is I hope they mark what's gluten free their menu. Even if someone isn't deathly allergic it helps the people who should be avoiding it.
google avatar

Shawna M.

Yelp
The food was good. The service good. I felt placed uncomfortably close to the next table.
google avatar

Yelp
Imm Thais lesser known, more upscale sister restaurant that delivers all the street style Thai flavors. For a Saturday night that was busy we only have 15min wait as a party of 4 so that was nice. Highlight was the Tom Yum omelette as it delivered actual savory/sour lemongrass and crab flavor in the sauce and the ratio to the rice was just perfect. We were dipping our leftover veggies from other dishes into the sauce. Soooo good! Other dishes we ordered were boat noodles (beef noddle soup) and the larb salad which were just ok. I didn't think the salad was spicy but they have spice rack on the table that I happily scooped chili from so it worked out. Super solid spot and I would return to get the Tom Yum omelette rice again and try other dishes as well as the Thai inspired cocktails.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is wonderful. All the dishes were super good. They will cater to your heat preferences. Service was good. You have to try the fried pumpkin, omg. This is one of the few places open on a Monday which is a big plus. Highly recommended spot for dinner.

Becky W.

Yelp
All I want is to eat my way through the menu! I know I'll have something delicious no matter what I order. The food comes out exactly hot or cold depending on what you order. Good portion size and value!
google avatar

Yelp
Got four dishes for take out, but it's a cute little restaurant that I think would've been nice for dining in as well. Got the fresh rolls, pad thai (chicken), pad see ew (beef), and spicy fried rice (chicken). Fresh rolls were TINY and you only get three - and they add avocado which was a little weird...not bad...just not what I'd expect when I order spring rolls. Peanut sauce was yummy though. Still..wouldn't get it again. Also wouldn't get the pad Thai which just missed the mark. Can't really describe it...just didn't taste like pad Thai to us. The reason for the 4 stars is the pad see ew and spicy fried rice. Both were excellent - well seasoned and generous portions that we'd be happy to eat again.
google avatar

Veronica L.

Yelp
Unique Thai dishes like their tom yum omelette and fried pumpkin. I liked their tom yum soup and my kids enjoyed their beef noodle soup. The green curry was a little too sweet for me. Service was friendly and good. Ambiance was relaxed and lively. Will come back. Kid friendly as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and pricing. Was a little salt heavy at the end of the dinner, but everything tasted amazing as I was eating it

Pranav M.

Yelp
Fast and accommodating service and great decorations (got seated at table with mini Christmas tree). Flavor of the dishes was great (I tried the eggplant dish which I haven't had at a Thai restaurant before) and drinks were good too. The presentation and overall experience enhanced the quality of the food. Portion sizes were good as well.

Yelp
Came here on Sunday for dinner with family. Since we were a party of 6, it was nice being able to call ahead to make a reservation. Metered street parking only so plan accordingly. Comfortable atmosphere inside with great natural lighting. We arrived 5 minutes before the end of their Happy Hour, so we had to ask them for their Happy Hour menu (which is for 11 am - 6 pm everyday). We quickly ordered the Bo Pils beer and a Summer Glow cocktail. The beer was standard, but the Summer Glow was a bit watered down. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share (The portions were a bit smaller than expected for the price): -sweet corn salad -mee cook -Tom Yum omelet rice -pad see ew -pumpkin curry -sweet fish. All were delicious and incredibly flavorful (and a bit spicy). My top favorites were the sweet fish (buttery smooth fish) and pad see ew (good "wok hay" flavor). Service was fairly attentive given how busy it was inside. Overall, we had a good dining experience, enjoyed the food, and would probably come back again if we were in the area.

Yelp
I really like this restaurant. We've been to many Thai places and haven't had a bad experience yet. They offer a dish that stands out from the rest--the red curry with pumpkin. While my kids aren't fond of pumpkin, I personally enjoyed it a lot, so I got to savor the entire dish myself. It's a great find for those who appreciate a unique twist on traditional Thai flavors.
google avatar

Yelp
Decent Thai spot! Ambiance is nice and clean. This place caught my eye because I wanted to try the Tom Yum Omelet Rice. I like the tom yum flavor, and it came with a decent amount of shrimp! It was also my first time trying the Yen Ta Foh, which was very satisfying. The broth was super flavorful and hit the spot. I didn't expect the noodles to be so wide, but it was fine. We got the fried oyster mushroom and avocado for appetizer, and the sweet and sour sauce was addicting. I thought this dish felt a little heavy on the fried oil taste. Nonetheless, very crispy and loved the mushrooms.
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, perfect for a date. Service was friendly and attentive. Has a nice bar with good variety of drinks.... But we came here for the food. We got the kua gai and lords noodles. If you are feeling something new and adventurous, the lords noodles is a must try. It's steamed vermicelli rice noodles topped with a shiitake mushroom, fried tofu, pork belly broth-y sauce. The favors are savory sweet, somewhat like a sweet soy sauce hoisin sauce like taste. It's very good. Kua gai was something we haven't tried before. It's stir fried flat rice noodles with chicken, shrimp and squid then topped with a thin fried egg. It was okay. I ate it with the lords noodles sauce. I personally thought I would it like it more if it had more spice and a stronger flavor. I would choose the pad kee mao next time.
google avatar

Monique D.

Yelp
Awesome upscale Thai joint. Welcome addition to neighborhood. Great menu selections with classic noodle dishes and curries as well as unique dishes like kefir lime green beans and avocado curry. Friendly staff and warm ambiance.
google avatar

Sanjana S.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night and there was a 30 minute wait. I wasn't super hungry and was really craving Tom Kha so I just got that. I was comparing it to the one from my favorite Thai restaurant and although it did not compare in flavor or richness, it was still not bad. My friend got the yellow curry and seemed to really enjoy it. Overall, I would return for something else on the menu.
google avatar

Dani M.

Yelp
I came here for lunch and asked to sit at the bar since it was just me- it wasn't too busy. I came specifically for the Tom Yum Omelette Rice I had previously seen online, similar to omourice but with a Thai twist. The employee who took my order was nice, suggested medium spicy, but I said mild because I can't handle spice. I was beyond impressed with the dish... I knew I would like it because I love Tom yum and rice dishes, but man it was perfect and worth the $19. It had mushrooms and a generous amount of shrimp. I will definitely come back here to try other items on the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
My partner had his team offsite here and was raving about the food, so I was so excited to try it out. There is plenty of street parking around. The interior is bright with fresh decorations. The tables are positioned a bit close together, but that didn't bother me. It wasn't too busy when we came in at 6:30PM on Friday, so we did not need to put our name down on the list. Once it got busier (around 7PM), the servers had everyone dining in utilize the sign in list. There were 2 servers seating people, taking orders, making drinks, delivering meals, and checking customers out. Even with all of these tasks, they were still quick and attentive. We did family style and shared the Chicken wings, Yellow Curry with chicken, Spicy Fried Rice with beef, and a Thai Iced Coffee. Everything was delicious, I have nothing bad to say about any of the dishes. We didn't think this would be enough food, but we both left full and happy. I saw groups of friends, couples, families, and employees (after work) enjoying drinks and sharing food around the restaurant. Overall, I had a great meal and will be back to try more of the menu!

Yelp
Super cute Thai place in a nice-ish part of Oakland! Super small store front that has seating inside for dine a well as two tables outside. Seemed pretty popular for takeout too, as the phones seemed like they were ringing off the hook! It's a bit chilly outside, but thankfully warm inside the restaurant. To warm up my friend got a cocktail and we got some soup to share. We also got two entrees with had pretty great portions. We were both stuffed. Tom Kha (5/5) - so flavorful with the lemongrass, coconut milk, fish sauce, cilantro and probably a bazillion other aromatics. Pad Kee Mao (5/5) - I have a feeling Thai spice would be unbearable here because we got it mild and it was just the right amount of spice (I'm used to eating spice too). Perfectly silky rice noodles, great sauce, all around great dish. Avocado Green Curry (4/5) - loved it but this was medium spice and honestly probably a little too spicy for me since i was dealing with a cold. The avocado component was interesting and the curry overall had great flavor! Great Thai place and I'll definitely be back to try more. I already got my picks!

Yelp
I wanted to eat vegetarian to reduce my carbon footprint, so I decided to come here for lunch and order the Pad See Ew with Veggies. They asked me if egg was okay, and I said "Yes." When they brought the dish to me, I tasted it and thought it was so good! The sauce, including garlic and white pepper, make this dish tasty without being too heavy while the noodles had the optimal chewy texture. The vegetables were integrated well - not just thrown in as an add-on. On top of that, since I don't tend to eat a lot, I was able to eat half of the dish as leftovers. I've come here a few times before, and I like this place a lot. Other items I've previously enjoyed are the Duck Noodles Soup and the Bikini cocktail. ECO NOTES (Dine-In) Dishware: They use reusable ceramic plates and bowls. Napkins: Single-use disposable paper napkins Utensils: Metal fork. When they brought out my dish, they brought disposable wooden chopsticks, but I told them I didn't need them, so they took it back. Water cups: Short glass cups

Yelp
I decided to come here for lunch with a friend on Sunday since I've had this place bookmarked for a while. I didn't make a reservation ahead of time but decided to get there right when they opened at 11am. There was only a party of 3 ahead of us, so we were immediately seated. We decided to order the following to share: - Papaya Salad (2/5): A bit bland to my liking and very few shrimps given. I was a bit disappointed since this is one of my favorite dishes at a Thai restaurant. - Pad Kee Mao (4/5): Very flavorful and the chicken complimented the entire dish well. I loved how chewy the flat noodles were. - Pumpkin Curry (5/5): By far the best dish amongst the three. It was a last minute decision to order this since there were multiple curry options. The curry was rich but it wasn't overpowering. I could definitely taste the pumpkin and glad that I ordered tofu with it. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I really liked the seating that they had next to the wall. The restaurant did get busier after awhile, but people didn't have to wait long to get seated. Overall great restaurant and will definitely come back to try other dishes.

Yelp
This restaurant isn't very well known for its Thai food around berkeley, but I definitely think it deserves a bit more hype. I came with two friends on a Friday night, and there were open tables but still a wait. The waiters were relatively accommodating though and sat us quickly at the bar. The wait for the food ended up still being quite long (~25 min for three dishes), hence the 4 stars, but the quality was great. - pad kee mao (4.5/5): tasted great, like any other standard pad kee mao. Only minor complaint is that there weren't that many veggies/that much protein in the dish, and the portion was just okay for the price. - crispy roll (4/5): my friend got this and I didn't try, but she seemed to like it. Nothing too special and was a vegetarian dish - Tom yum soup (4/5): same complaints as for the pad kee Mao, tasted good, but portion was small and didn't have much of anything inside.
