Delicious, all the standard boba offerings and some absurdly good specialty options. I got a dessert flavor with a whipped ume topping and it was incredible. Very nice and informative staff, will be back!

All around pretty good! The blueberry muffin shaken espresso is pictured on the left, and the earl grey milk tea is on the right, both with tapioca pearls and 0% sugar. While the blueberry muffin drink was not my favorite in terms of flavor, the boba pearls were the perfect consistency—not too mushy or hard. I liked the flavor of the earl grey much better. Overall, I would definitely come back!

my friend and i decided to check out this boba place after hearing so many great things about it, and I can definitely see why it’s so popular. I ordered the Hokkaido milk tea with 100% sweetness, and it was absolutely phenomenal! my friend got the taro milk tea she liked it, but wasn’t as impressed as I was. Overall, the service was fantastic, especially from Cameron. he was so sweet, friendly, and really knowledgeable about boba. he definitely deserves a raise for being so welcoming! we'll definitely be coming back soon to try more flavors.

I can't quite get this one top review but it's not bad at all. First everything is ordered through a kiosk which is a little annoying and you have to pay with card. The staff wasn't very friendly, and even though I like the decor it's kind of dark inside. But the boba tea however was very tasty, so the Kernel says 4/🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗

Went here for an event they hosted for a nearby concert. Everyone was amazing and I loved the energy. All the drinks were priced amazing. The place itself is a vibe. I woul 10/10 recommend this place and I hope to come back my next Nashville trip!

I came in Sunday and while girl was nice and the boba was delicious, it took 20 minutes for my order of 3 drinks when the customer before was already leaving which worries me about getting a ticket when the parking lot is a 15 minute time limit

Unfortunately, the Music City is not the place for quality boba. I was craving a sense of familiarity and home and went on an online hunt for the best boba in Nashville. All signs pointed to Yin Yang Tea. Scanning their menu and reviews, things looked and sounded super promising! I went with their Nagasaki Milk Tea with boba which is described as having a honey green flavor. Being from SoCal, I've definitely been conditioned to be a bit of a boba snob. This drink was really not great. I ordered it 25% sweet and yet it tasted like sugary milk with a hint of tea flavor. The boba balls were also half hard. Quite far from an ideal boba drink in my book.

Quality/Quantity - Crushed pebble ice, not the type of ice we are accustomed to. It could get sucked up the straw when drinking... We got the following and all of which were just okay. Jasmine Milk Tea - Average. Normal. Strawberry Lychee Lemonade - Needed to shake the drink. Oolong Milk Tea - The boba itself was pretty good. Atmosphere - Small local business. Cool decor, see pictures. Tables were mostly two seaters, so not sure how you can accompany larger groups...? Open 7 days a week from noon to 9pm. Service - 5 stars, very accommodating. My wife also wanted hot water and they were more than happy to help. Price - My wife paid, approximately $20. We stopped by Yin Yang on the way home from a late Target trip. I don't know if there was more than one person working but we only saw one employee. We weren't greeted or acknowledged when we came in. We ordered at kiosks, which I wasn't a fan of. This was our first visit so I'm not sure if this is how it always is but we had questions and the employee had gone to the back. The drinks came out quickly and they looked good but mine was way too sweet. It would have been nice to ask questions about sweetness levels before ordering. The amount of boba was skimpy and you're charged for everything outside of the basic boba pearls and non-dairy creamer. I'm not even sure what non-dairy creamer is since we couldn't ask questions. We won't be back, especially with other boba places really close by.

Great place to get some tea! You order from a screen and they have so many options and you can customize your teas. You can decide on the amount of sugar, if you want boba or tapioca balls, even the type of milk they use. The service was fast and friendly. There is a paid parking lot, but they validate the first 30 minutes so don't let that deter you. There is inside seating so it a great place to meet a friend to catch up.

Solid Boba Tea spot with options that other outlets & local chains do not offer. Located on the back end of the pricey sushi spot O-ku Yin Yang is easy to miss which is further complicated by the all black windows & inability to see inside the venue. If you're able to make it inside with no trouble the ordering process is simple & pain free. Touch tables with all the options are on the counter & wall. What I love is you can get Hokkaido milk & Okinawa milk teas here which are different from standard milk base teas. When In Japan I consume everything Hokkaido milk based & crave the buttery goodness associated with products made with it. The Okinawa milk tea is quite delicious as well & what I chose on my most recent stop. Price is comparable to every other boba tea spot in town. I'd have to say the only one I've had that is better is eat bubbles.

I really dig this place. It's fairly new. Their boba is delicious and very customizable. You can get the fruity ones with the popping boba and the milk teas with the chewy boba. You can get them hot or cold, and you can even get boba coffee if you want! The baristas are cool and friendly and quick. They just started a food menu a few weeks ago. I have yet to try their food, but it's mostly sandwiches. I was kind of hoping for Taiwanese food, but alas.

Im a sucker for some boba. Yin Yang Tea is very convenient for me, but its also very good. Ive been here a handful of times and have always had a great experience. you can walk up to the cash registered and place your own order and pay, which is perfect for introverts. Then they will make your drink and call it out.

loved the nagasaki milk tea! the taro milk tea lacked taro flavor and tasted pretty artificial. the owner was super nice and wanted to make sure we scanned the QR code to validate parking.

I was really craving some milk tea so I made a quick stop at Yin Yang Tea on the way home from work today! This establishment is located in the heart of Germantown. They validate parking inside and also have a few to go spots, which is where I parked. If you get lucky, you might find some street parking too! I decided to go with the signature milk tea, less sweet, with tapioca pearls. I appreciate that the menu lists what contains milk in it to help the lactose intolerant folks like me. The tea was made very quickly and I was on my way. I'll say, less sweet is definitely the way to go, because it is still very sweet as is! The flavor of the tea was nice, but very mild. I wouldn't say this is the best bubble tea I've ever had, but it's a good option if you're looking for something to satisfy!

My favorite BoBa spot!!! We try to stop by here every time we're in the area. And if you don't already know, they don't accept cash, cards and online orders only.

BEST BOBA PLACE EVER (from someone who is so picky about boba). We tried so many other places in Nashville before coming here and now we don't go anywhere else. My go to is the Green Thai Tea and my boyfriend likes to try at random but has not been disappointed. The boba is always fresh and I have had texture issues with other places so definitely been great for us. We are excited to try the brand new food menu next!!

We were looking for the next best boba and everything suggested yin Yang tea. The outside looked like it closed down cause the windows are blacked out, but it's actually open. Inside of the store is very theme so great for a photo or two. The staff there is very friendly. Sometimes if you go on the right time it's filled with juicy gossip too. The bubble tea was great. The tapioca was nice and soft with a good chew. The tea to milk ratio was perfect. The sweetness was made to what I want. This is a great place for boba.

As someone who has lived in LA near Sawtelle, I can tell you this is the best boba I've ever had--in particular, the fruit tea and the lychee jelly is amazing. But their selection of milk tea is also amazing. The blended taro has fresh boba. It does run a bit on the sweet side, so consider going down a notch on the sweetness. The ambiance is great, I don't know why people are bothered about contactless pay. The workers are really nice, and this is a small business. The grilled cheese sandwich is so amazing that my jaw dropped the first time I had it.

I am on vacation in Nashville with my partner. I was looking for a fruit tea. Upgrade from green tea to oolong costs extra. They also give you base "toppings" and lychee was $1 extra as well. I ordered a peach tea with lychee jellies for a total of $6 (base cost was 4.50). Typical price range! You order on the screen while they prepare, super easy and fast. Their online menu is exactly what is offered in the store so carry out is super confident. The surrounding area is under construction and there is not really a place to sit outside. Still recommend for grab and go!

We were visiting from out of town and happened to find the lovely boba tea shop in the Germantown area in Nashville. Both of us are certified boba drinkers so we were excited and curious to try out Yin Yang Tea. Their menu offer solid choices of boba tea with some unique flavors like Vietnamese coffee boba tea, mojito coffee boba tea, Hokkaido, Okinawa milk tea... We ordered the Hokkaido milk tea and the Nagasaki milk tea and they were both delicious! The tea were so fragrant and sweet! With that being said, if you like to order your boba tea with low level of sugar, I would suggest 0 - 25%. I like my tea slightly sweet so 0 would have been perfect for me. 25% was still a little too sweet. However, I still love it! The price was very standard for a boba tea shop so around $6 with tax. I wish we have a boba tea shop like this where I am from. If I lived in Nashville, I would definitely frequent this place! Parking is free for the boba shop in the lot but there are plenty of free street parking around.

I visit this place way too often...but it's soooo good! Hands down the best boba I've found in Nashville, and the value is the best as well. The people who work there are efficient and friendly. There's 15 minute parking right outside which is always plenty of time to get my order. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

One of the best boba tea shops in Nashville. The service quick and friendly. They have a good selection of teas. I generally get many of my milk teas and teas 25% sugar to zero, with that said their teas have never been bitter.

HOW CUTE IS THIS SHOP!? I was craving boba and didn't want the main stream boba that was at Opry Mills so drove to Germantown for this gem. I'm so glad that we did! Parking was very convenient. The staff was great! I felt there was no pressure because I was able to order using a computer screen and it provided all the modifications you could make - something I feel like individuals forget to offer. The drinks were absolutely delicious and I was so excited to find some authentic boba. We will be back

Found this place while riding scooters. I ordered the strawberry fruit tea 25% less sweet. It was very good, I'd definitely come back to try other items. Cute lil place and great customer service!

A true hidden gem until the new Oracle campus goes up and when that happens you'll most likely be waiting in line for Yin Yang tea. This little shop is super quiet and has only three small tables to sit at so it's mostly a grab and go boba. The parking is very small and is a pay only, except for two free curbside pick up spots. I parked in the paid spot, but rolled the dice and didn't pay. Im not really a boba connoisseur so I went with what I know, a coffee blended boba. It was delicious, but I should have added more boba... which was free! The menu here is deep and I had no idea there were so many types of boba drinks and teas. The staff is super helpful and will answer any questions you may have.

Was a cute spot and customer service was great so I thought it would be super yummy but it was not. I ordered Taro milk tea and passion fruit tea with lychee jelly. The fruit tea was ok but the taro... was disgusting. Tasted chemically like cleaning product was in it and the boba texture was off as well, moderately chewy with a firm and uneasy center texture. Just wasn't good. Will not be back

Who said Nashville has no good boba? As a boba connoisseur, I was surprised at HOW TASTY and CHEWY the boba was and the refreshing taste of the tea. My friend and I tried their signatures "Hokkaido Milk Tea" & "Okinawa Milk Tea" and both were a 10/10. Now that I am back home, I truly crave and miss this spot so definitely come grab yourself a refreshment here!

New to the area but was able to find a great boba tea vendor that offered the selection that I crave for a decent cost. I have to admit, driving towards Yin Yang I was nervous as the path to Yin Yang was an industrial park but I am glad I found the pot of gold at the end of the road. There are limited parking in front but manageable. You walk in and you are faced with an online menu that you have to choose your delights and move to the waiting area. The entire process was quick and easy. I ended up with the house tea special and the mango smoothie which was my favorite so far, I would come back for more Yin and Yang.

Hands down the best bubble tea spot/chain in Nashville! Have been here multiple times and the service is mainly self-order, which is very fast and accessible. The boba is highly quality with a sweet outer coating and the milk tea and fruit teas are all refreshing and delicious. I personally love the passion fruit tea and the Hokkaido milk tea. Good ambience to dine in as well.

I got the chance to experience Yin Yang Yea thanks to the wonderful Yelp Elite event going on. I seriously wish I had tried them before, because the drinks and service were A-1. The place itself was easy to find and it was very clean inside as well. I was greeted right when I walked in and the guy at the counter was informative and helpful. It didn't take long for me to get my drinks and they both tasted so good. I ordered the brow sugar tea and the spookies and cream. I preferred the brown sugar because the flavors were smooth and I'm just a huge brown sugar fan. I've never had any type of cookies and cream flavored boba tea so I was definitely interested in trying to. The flavors were not too sweet and the cookie pieces were not over powering. It was well made and very tasty as well. Overall, Yin Yang offers excellent drinks and service. Can't wait to go back and try something new!

Great little spot for authentic boba tea and fruit tea. I'm grateful that they are close to where we live so whenever I'm craving one I can easily get one. I love their computer ordering system, no need to bother the attendants. Being in Germantown their prices are reasonable, as well, much better than the watered down boba tea from the farmers market. This is the real deal! Service was fast. It's not really a spot where you want to sit and drink since the seating area is a little small and felt dark and un-finished but I'd get the bobba to go!

If you like a little sweet in your life you have to try this bubble tea place. Lot of favors, lot of options and they're all delicious better than any other place I has. Highly recommended. Order on the ipad menu or at the counter, great services

The matcha drink itself was overall good though not well blended. The boba was hard to chew missing the gooey and spongy texture that I hoped for. Service was quick and staff amazing.

Finally tried boba tea for the first time at Yin Yang Tea! Alex was working and he was so helpful! He recommended getting a milk tea or a fruit tea and I opted for the passion fruit tea with popping boba. It was so pretty! The drink looked like a sunset. Alex did mention that their drinks can be a little sweet, so I turned my sweetness down 25% and it was perfect. For the fruit tea with the sweet boba, it could have even gone lower. It was so refreshing, perfect for a beautiful day! It's fun to go in and pick your tea and toppings, too. Be adventurous and don't be afraid to ask for help! The Germantown spot has lots of (paid) parking in a walkable area. It's a dark space so it may look closed but it's actually open! When you walk in, you order through a touch screen.

I've been to Yin Yang Tea on several occasions now and it's time I give them a proper well-deserved review. Let me first say that I've been looking for a good bubble tea shop that's comparable to the quality set by bubble tea shops across Northern VA, where I'm from. I've been to many MANY bubble tea places in Nashville area and I find them to be too artificial in flavor, do not have crystal boba, or have a bad lingering aftertaste. Then I came across YYT and I can say I've found my go-to bubble tea shop Despite their small menu compared to other's, YYT definitely delivers in quality. I usually order the lychee or mango fruit tea and request the sweetness level to be 25%. I have a huge sweet tooth, but I find the drinks to be too sweet if you order at normal sweetness. 25% is perfect for me. I sampled other unique milk teas like the Okinawa and Hokkaido and thought they were nicely fragrant. Crystal boba is my topping. If a bubble tea place doesn't have crystal boba, I will most likely say "thank u, next".

Came here on a weekend afternoon, need to pay for parking lot outside but street parking available nearby. Got the earl grey milk tea, no sugar, thought I got no ice but apparently got normal ice, free topping of grass jelly (although I split that free topping into half grass jelly, half boba, and they let me). Wifi available, tables next to outlets although not many tables, pretty quiet and chill place. Tea wasn't very strong, but grass jelly was smooth and boba was chewy. Expensive drink though at more than $7.

Whenever I'm traveling I try to squeeze in a boba stop. Yin Yang Tea show up on my search for places near downtown Nashville. The parking situation was very interesting. Make sure you register your car in the lot or you will get booted/towed. You can order online or at the counter. The black milk tea I ordered was pretty standard. It was nice to have a place nearby to get my boba fix.

This place has some amazing bubble tea. I got the lavender milk tea and it was delicious. The flavoring was on point and the tapioca was soft, flavorful, and with the perfect consistency. I recommend opting for less ice because they really put a lot so definitely make sure to adjust that. The other toppings were also great, I especially like the lychee jelly.

Yin Yang is excellent! You can order online, the prices are extremely reasonable for the size you receive, and the selection of flavors and add ons has a ton of variety. We always order ahead and our boba is ready as soon as we arrive. Super safe in terms of cleanliness and covid protocols as well. Highly recommend for a sweet treat in Germantown!

I love this place and have from the start. I moved to Nashville in pandemic times. And the have curbside pick up for online orders which is great! Younger staff and always sweet to speak too. My only complaint is the don't let you do double boba anymore. I understand the shortage but competitors in the area like bubble love found new suppliers to be able to work through this. Either way, great options for drinks. Parking you get a little time free than have to pay.

Quite delicious! The Taro, Strawberry, and Hokkaido are great. The popping boba is pretty good, the coconut jelly is GREAT, and the fruit jelly is only good. I really wish they restocked more often. Been going there for a while and they've never had Crystal Boba.... Also: Quite expensive... the drinks are tall but thin. I always wanted to try a blended boba but oof. 6.50 before tax and tip feels heavy.

I've been wanting to check this place out since it opened. I signed up as fast as I could to the Yelp Hootenanny event so I can try their teas. Nashville is in great need of more bubble tea places. They have screens where you can order you bubble tea. There's so many choices and I can't wait to go back and try them all. Taro blended: I love taro smoothies. I ordered 50% sweetness and it was still sweet so now I'm curious to see what 100% tastes like. Taro tends to be starchy ( it is a root after all), but it's always my go to pick when I go to a bubble tea place. Okinawa milk tea: super milky and has a brown sugar flavor. I also want to say it reminded me of butterscotch taste to it. Lemon tea: surprisingly floral and sugary! Again, I put in 50% and it's super sweet. The cashier was super nice. Parking is free for 15 minutes and there's two spots out front. Don't forget to register at the kiosk. There's outdoor seating but tbh idk if it's for the restaurant next door or for Yin Yang. There's definitely seating inside and there were people in there studying and hanging out. Everyone wore masks and the cashier was very helpful.

Was a little shocked by the different way of ordering( you enter your order on the tablet instead of an employee doing it) and it took a second to figure out how to use it. Not great for those who are not very tech savvy but I'm sure their employees could help out. Staff was nice and quick to fill our order. They had some unique flavors and they were delicious!

I'm from California so I'm going to be picky here. The drinks deserve 3 stars, not bad, but could be better. Another star for the fast and nice service. I got a nagasaki milk tea with boba 25% sweetness and a jasmine tea 25% sweetness. 25% here is like 50 or 75% sweet in California. It was so much sweeter than I expected. The milk tea has a nice hint of floral and honey, the boba was on a tougher side and it wasn't too pleasant to chew on. I have not tried the Jasmine Tea yet but I don't think they can really go wrong with it. Nice boba shop right next to O-ku. I'm here for work travel so it will be awhile until next time, but I hope they take into consideration the comments about their sweetness level.

Every time we visit Nashville, we always make an effort to support this local business. The staff is helpful, friendly and efficient, and the drinks are delicious too! We usually get the brown sugar milk tea with boba and the strawberry smoothie with mango poppers! Both of these options are very tasty and does not disappoint!
