YinTang Spicy Hot Pot- Monterey Park 隱燙麻辣燙

Custom make-your-own individual hotpot. A neighborhood staple for me. Grab anything you want from the ingredients bar, put it on the scale, pay per weight, and choose a soup base. I personally always get the house special bone broth at extra spicy. It's not that spicy and the flavor is just so good. 😋👌🌶️ (ps, there's even a sauce bar!)

This restaurant offers a great variety of vegetables, some seafood such as shrimps, sliced fish, fish tofu. Sliced beef and lamb. You pick your foodstuffs and soup base. The food is charged by weight, $13.99 per pound.

There was a line to dine in. We probably waited 20 min. The soup is OK, but not as flavorful as some of the other hotpot places I’ve been to. I asked for spicy, but it wasn’t very spicy. The ingredients are fresh, and constantly restocked. I probably won’t return. Our friend got rice, and it was very very mushy and soggy. Service is Ok depending on who you talk to. One guy in particular was having a bad day.

Order 2.5 big bowl . The soup and temperature is good. I misunderstood that the place has hot pot on the table. They cooked for your ingredients with their soup base. Fresh food and not need to loss a lot of food in Ayce. Eat whatever you can .

A very different kind of hot pot where there is no flame or stove to boil your pot. Simply choose your veggies, meat, and noodles from the counter and bring it to the cashier for weighing. The cost is $13.99 per pound. If the bowl weighs 1.5 lbs or higher and if you pay in cash, you get a free drink (can soda or tea). The server will take your bowl to the kitchen and cook your meal, and bring it back within 5-10 minutes. I like this instead of the traditional hot pot where the whole pot is a preset menu, no customization. This new create-your own hot pot gives you more option of what you want in your bowl, similar to those ayce hot pot restaurants. What I like about this restaurant is that it's similar to an ayce restaurant at $13.99 per lbs instead of a fixed cost. If you want to eat light, just pick what you want, and your bowl will be prorated. I like this business model. By the way, the beef broth is so flavorful and delicious. They also offer a tomato both. You have the option to customize your spice level for your broth. Loyalty/ rewards card is available. If you're not offered one, just ask for it. Buy 10 bowls, get the 11th free. I forgot to get 4 stamps for our last visit. Be sure to yours stamped. This is our new hot pot place to go now. We'll be back soon. There's a parking in the back. Simple delicious and fast dining option. You grab whatever you want, they weigh it and you pay for it, cafeteria/self serve yogurt style but for hot savory food.

Best hot soup 🍲 😋 I travel 30mins to go here. Broth is always so delicious. Love that we get to build our own soup. Over 50 ingredients to choose from everything fresh.

First time here, you can pick the food you want in the bowl, take the bowl tothe counter, choose the flavor of soup you want and they will cook for you. And they will deliver the meal to your seat. Next to the condiment station, there is a sauce bar where you can choose any additional sauces you would like.
